Just a girl, trying to find her way.♡☆
Hi guys! Welcome to another one of my many desperate attempts at making people love me.
Is it working? I can’t actually tell. (Oops.)
Here I am though! I’ve recently refallen in love with the idea of reading books. The big, fat, heavy ones that people normally don’t pick up. (Hmmm.)
So, I’m looking for writers. Specifically writers who like;no enjoy writing both M/F and F/F stories, realistic plot ideas, romance, darker themes (triggers here people.) and long paragraphs. (Between 1 andddd 10?)
I have two writing samples below, involving my favorite oc.
If anyone’s interested, please don’t hesitate.

The young lady leaned over the large, grand staircase balcony. Looking on as more people piled in to the even larger home below. People, her boyfriend had worked with, known from high school, his family and even an enemy of ex lover or five were scattered across the large rooms to welcome him home. The butterflies in seeing him again, made her own stomach twist and turn.
Pushing long curly hairs out of her face, her blue eyes scanned the crowd. Seeing some of her own family members below. Not many people, liked the fact that Elaine at 23 years old, was dating a 3 years older than her. Not many people liked it, that this older man had Elaine strung along since she was 17. Yet, that had been 5 years ago, Elaine always hoped eventually everyone just love him the way she did. She doubted it though, very much.
Licking her lips, she watched as her younger brother slip up the stairs two at a time carrying a beer for himself and one for his sister, the owners of the house; an old college drop out friend, who insisted on throwing his friend a party hadn’t exactly said anything about under age drinking..had he? “Don’t let mom see you.” Elaine warmed as she popped the lid of her own beer bottle. The tin small piece, held between her fingers as she waited for the large front door to open.
Holding her breathe, she listened to the chatterbox around her, and below her as she watched the front door open. First, the man Her boyfriend’s friend had hired to drive him to the home and then the man himself. Standing very still, in her dark black dress Elaine didn’t dare to move. The lords shouts and hurrah’s could be heard she was sure from miles away, yet she stayed silent just watching him. As he moved about the people, shaking hands, hugging, kissing those tentive cheeks of those who he wanted to.
Biting into her lip, Elaine titled her head to the side, as she let the small beer cap fall. Maybe he’d hear it, maybe it would land on him, or maybe he wouldn’t notice her up there at all.

The first the sand hit her toes, warm against the cool night air. The air she was told, was always cooler once you traveled closer and closer to the water. She’d only been here, maybe once or twice before as a child.
The first time, when her brother was two and ended up putting his feet into an old man’s potato salad and the second time she’d been eleventh, taking a frisbee to her front teeth. Causing her parents to have to take her to emergency room, ruining that family vacation.
Her parents hadn’t done much with their kids, they’d go camping, trips to the local state park after hours to use the water and movie nights whenever the off chance the couple wasn’t fighting, selling their only daughter or worrying about money.
After the sand was the water, first licking at her toes. Ankles, and then her calves, and lastly her knees. In the water, she felt weightless. She didn’t feel like Greyson’s overweight girlfriend, or like the poster child for a good little Debbie snack. She felt, almost like she belonged for a small second she considered going in farther. Far enough for the water to consume her whole, so she could feel weightless and effortless on every crevice and curve of her body. Maybe then, she’d feel the way everyone else did about themselves.
Tilting her head to the side, she watched as the waves crashed against the large rocks, an even larger ledge above it. Lifting her hand up, Elaine pointed in the direction of the ledge. “Perfect place to put the tent.” She told Greyson as she pushed herself from her vast feeling of weightlessness back to being herself.
The tent wasn’t too hard to assemble, pulling blankets and pillows into the tent, seemed to be the hardest part. Elaine, has brought her own illegally boughten six pack and had a liter handy so lighting a bonfire was a breeze.
She was okay, everything would be okay as long as they lived in this small piece of heaven.
