No worries.Due some urgent problems, I won't be able to post/be online for for while. My apologies.
That looks massive. Just my opinion, but on first glance that is just huge. Then again I don't know the scale of this world.Alright. So I'm just going off what I think is the total area of Heca. I believe that this should be the Duchy of Delmuth:View attachment 321618
Tell me if there is any other information I need.
France had 18 Duchies in the late Monarchist Period. The number of Duchies simply depends on the makeup of the Kingdom itself. More duchies mean more direct vassals for the King/Queen. Unless there were Archdukes or Grand Dukes which would alleviate some of this. A political map would be nice though, one that showed individual provinces and then which provinces were controlled by which Duchies. It is a little big. I took my thoughts on duchies from Crusader Kings II, where kingdoms usually contain 5-6 duchies, though it may be more than a fifth of the kingdom's size (assuming the land in the map is all of Heca).
A Viscount is a modified Count. It's a weird title in and of itself. The amount of land a Viscount holds is less than a Count but more than a Baron. Usually monarchs have what are called "Crownlands" these are typically Counts, Barons and Viscounts that belong directly to the territory the King/Queen oversees personally. So in all reality you would likely be under the direct vassal control of the King since you are Viscount and serving as Marshal. Which would also mean your land is likely close to the capital. So, I've got a question, I'm guessing that an Earl holds lands equivalent to a Count i.e a single province or multiple small provinces , as such how much land would a viscount hold being on the scale of nobility higher than a Barron but lower than a Count/Earl?
Also , since my character is the Marshal of Gisal I'm thinking that he will have to be a direct vassal to the king and not under a Duke right?

I'm having to spitball because the only person who can definitively answer these questions in the context of Iyuron would be Fennapples
No worries! My most sincere apologies! I'm trying my best to make some time within the week.
I do believe most people who enjoy writing are patient by nature; that and I'm barely getting a few lines down myself. My most sincere apologies! I'm trying my best to make some time within the week.
I've hosted before. Things along this line in particular so I tend to simply recall what I did then and see how it applies here. I also have the notifications enabled so it simply pings me whenever there is a response thus letting me be timely about replying. co-gming can be nice and all but at the same point it runs the risks of muddling the original world. Iyuron is Fennapples creation so I really only know the same as everyone else here!I do believe most people who enjoy writing are patient by nature; that and I'm barely getting a few lines down myself.
However, I've seen people get good mileage out of a co-gm in these situations (for future reference).
Oh and Oberons Veil seems on top of things....
but that's just my two cents.
