@avira I do! I use a Cintiq 12wx that my friend gave me (it's a screen tablet from like a generation ago or so), and a program called Clip Studio Paint, which was released in the west as Manga Studio (I think that name is silly so I usually refer to it as CSP).


@Basil That would be Malephistus Zelmorix Melax! Or "Mal," for short.

Your first sample really gets me; it reminds me of Destiny? I didn't enjoy the game all that much but goddamn if the UI wasn't eye candy.


And the third sample just makes me happy because I'm fond of similar character designs

@sugarvine Destiny had some fantastic designs. The art team really did an amazing job on it (even if I didn't like the gameplay all that much either). I had a great deal of fun doing the second one! I looked at a fair bit of Final Fantasy and storybook art in order to capture that sort of sketchy feel. I might clean it up a little bit and bring it a little closer to that sort of look in the future.

@yonmita rae I do! Backgrounds and environments are actually some of my favorite things to draw! Here's one from a little while back that remains one of my favorites:

I'm currently in the middle of doing another cityscape as part of a character profile, though I'm unsure if I'll be able to finish it before the roleplay opens. I'll probably post it in whatever state it's in if I don't make it in time, and then finish it later on anyway.

@yonmita rae I've actually never tried one! I've never attempted commissions or anything like that either, that whole sort of thing is completely foreign to me. I'd be willing to try, though!

Ohhhhhh!!!! You'd be my hero! XD and i actually haven't done commissions or an art trade yet! But it would be really fun, basically we draw something for one another, if you have a character or an idea of someone that you'd like I'd be happy to draw them! 


I just have a ruff idea of a character and a rough background, but your style is just too awesome I love it!

Digital painting practice. My aim is to do one set of snow and rock paintings a day this week, at least three drawings each, in order to practice lighting, strokes and form. This is Sunday's practice. I did one tonight too, which I'll upload later on sometime.
