Emilia mentally cheered when the bell rung, a sign of a few minutes away from boring people that seemed to be in a different, more restrained world. A few minutes to herself that she can use to breath easily, away from her own kind. She looked at her schedule and sighed when she realized that she got physical education forced onto her again, probably by a new sports team coach.cookierulz127 said:Lilly walked in and sat down towards the middle of the room. She was stunning what was obviously one of the perks of being an angle. The down fall though was that people fell in love with her because of her looks not who she wa. She sighed softly and went back to paying attention in class and taking notes on what was on the power point.
Emilia walked into the gym, sighing as the coach went through roll call. They really love their lists, don't they? The things we limit ourselves with… She took out her book again, and despite the coach going a little red he did nothing to stop her, just lecturing the other kids harder. She closed her small book and put it in the back pocket of her baggy jeans with a fluid, practiced motion and left the gym as the next bell rung, heading off to lunch. It really makes you wonder who came up with these schedules when you have things in inconvenient, insensible times. She placed her lunch box on a deserted table, sitting down after washing her hands in the bathroom. Thanks for the food, mom.cookierulz127 said:Lilly sat there and jumped when the bell rang. "I'm never going to get use to those stupid things." She said with a heavy sigh. Being an angle she didn't have to go to school but she wanted to so she could fit in and be more like a normal human. Besides she needed to find the human she was ment to guard. She sighed softly thinking about not being able to find the human she was suppose to be guarding upset her because she felt like she had failed as an angle so far.
Emilia looked up as a soft voice asked her for permission to sit next to her and she shifted uncomfortably as she realized it was one of the school idols, Lilly. Fantasies and suspicions ran rampant in her mind and she silenced them all with effort. She nodded at Lilly and brushed her black hair out of her face, self conscious around her. "N-No, I don't mind at all…" she moved her stuff to make room for Lilly, taking a small bite of her peanut butter jelly sandwhich.cookierulz127 said:Lilly as she walked to her next class what was spanish she had a feeling the person she was suppose to guard was near by. A huge smile slid across her face. "Finally." She muttered to herself as she walked into her class. After class she headed to her locker and put her stuff away before grabbing her lunch and heading to the lunch room. She saw a girl sitting alone and walked over to her. "Do you mind if I sit here?" She asked the girl with a smile. Something about this girl was different. 'Found her!' She though happily now she just had to keep her safe.
Emilia was startled at the question Lilly seemingly asked out of the blue, so she responded with the answer she gave her mom when she asked. "Meh. Not really good or bad, if such things exist." she covered her mouth with her left hand, her primary hand. "I'm sorry for being so rude… It hasn't been that bad." Emilia noticed Lilly looking troubled. "Is something the matter?"cookierulz127 said:At first Lilly though she was going to turn her away but was relived when she didn't. "Thanks." She said with a smile as she sat down across from her. "So how was your day so far?" She asked her curiously as she opened up her lunch box and pulled out a salad and poured some dressing on it once she had it opened. 'Your so stupid you should know how her day went! You should know everything about her already! Most guardians find their kids when their little not teens.' She though as she scolded herself mentally.
Emilia smiled shakily at the girl across from her, kind of comfortable but not at the same time. "I was referring to people, because other than the book I read the social interactions are what really decides it. I don't think that there is a black and white, just lighter and darker grays." she took another bite of her sandwhich, enjoying the taste of the strawberry preservatives in her mouth.cookierulz127 said:Lilly looked up when she asked if something was wrong. "Umm not really. I mean something was but it's better now. Besides I don't want to burden you with my problems." She said with a smile and laughed a little. "Also about the good and bad and if such things exsit. They do because some days are better then others. Although days where you have school just kind of suck in general." She said and smiled. "Sometimes you just have to look at the positive in life."
The bell rung, cutting their discussion short. Emilia sighed at the annoying noises, ignoring the dishonest vibe she got when Lilly said her last statement. "I'm afraid that cuts our meeting short. Goodbye Lilly."cookierulz127 said:Lilly sat there thinking because maybe that was true. Although being an angel she knew about the good and bad. Hence why there are angles and demons both roam the earth and obvious the demons real havoc and the angles try and protect the humans from it. Sometimes they succeed other times they comfort a human while they pass away. The hardest thing for little to do so far was after a natural disaster obvious caused by demons she went to the scene only to hold a little kid as he took his last breaths. It had crushed her to see that but being an angle it was her Job to protect them and comfort people in their moments of need. "Maybe I don't know." She said and shrugged softly although she was basically lieing. She knew what went on.
Emilia walked to her house, a shack in the forested area near town. "I'm home mom!" She exclaimed brightly, grinning and softly hugging her thin, exhausted mother. She took out a duster, cleaning up the house as much as she could while she ushered her mother to rest. She wiped her forehead with the back of her hand when she mentally told that it was five o'clock, going down to the nearby stream to clean her hands and get some water for the stew she was planning to make. It was around seven by the time it was done, smelling tantalizing. "I honestly don't get why people don't use wood stoves anymore, they do the job just fine for me. Mom! Dinner is ready!"cookierulz127 said:"Goodbye." Lilly said as she got up and headed off. She decided to skip her last class for the day and sneak out. She had to go tell her leader that she had finnaly found the girl she was suppose to be guarding. As she snuck out of the school she headed towards the woods so she could grow her wings and take off withough being seen.
Emilia sighed as she tucked her mother in on the torn couch that served as a makeshift bed. She overworks herself… stupid dad, leaving us alone… She laid down in her hammock, pulling a rag over herself. Still, as long as mom doesn't fall under all the pressure before I can get a job, we'll be fine. Besides, other than the drafts this cabin isn't too bad. She gently trailed off to sleep, only to find a hellish nightmare awaiting.cookierulz127 said:Lilly was near the house whennshe opened her large wings and shot up onto the sky. This all happened withing a matter of seconds so even if someone were to see they wouldn't know who it was. After she was high up into the Clouds she stopped and landed on one and started to looked aroud. After a few seconds she found who she was looking for, her boss. "I found her!" She shredded excitedly. He laughed and nodded his head. "I saw that and I'm very proud of you. Now all you have to do is keep her safe and happy. what's and even harder job then just finding her. Humans are strange and someone what unpredictable." He said to Lilly as she nodded and listened to everything he said. She didn't want to mess this up she knew how bad guardins felt if their person got killed.
