Futuristic 1x1 Seeking Partner for Blade Runner Rp. (Apply w/ character sheet for consideration/interest check.)

m1dnitet0ker

Nothing lasts. Yet nothing is lost.
Story and setting thus far:
Planetside: Earth. (Possible offworld locations TBD.)
The year: 3145.
Over the past thousand years, humanity has slowly begun to reconnect to and regrow the earth. From it's barren and desolate state caused by the irresponsibility of previous generations, the current efforts and unified goals have lead to a slowly greening planet that has begun to release grasslands, forests, fresh rivers and even microscopic biodiversity suitable to suggest that natural repopulation of previous occurring wildlife may occur within the next tens of thousands of years. Assuming all goes to plan. Replicants have been invaluable in the efforts to bring our homeworld back to it's previous glory of biodiversity.

Replicants have proven to be more than useful in bringing humanity back from the brink of a dark, foreboding nightmare of a past into the new, greener, hopeful future of humanity. Their enhanced strength, speed, agility, and endurance are still cornerstones to their use in offworld and planetside operations, even black operations applications. Thus, despite the blatant documented issues involved, replicants are still widely used and manufactured. The truth of the matter is simple: some are a benefit to the company...others are a hazard. Like some dangerous human criminals, those that are a hazard are tracked and hunted down, then removed from the population. This isn't known as murder or execution. It is thought of as retirement from service.

Those that hunt the wayward are still known as: Blade Runners.

In the past, even some exceptional replicants were used as Blade Runners given high rates of success. However, the executive powers that were, saw to it that those lines of product have been retired for centuries now. Only those of human origins, exceptional performance, and unwavering loyalty are selected to be Blade Runners at this time. Strict selection processes and conditioning are utilized to find men and women that understand the need for loyal service to humanity.

-Our characters-

My character:
-Picture attached is of HEPA Suit. (Hazardous Environment Protective Armor.) Often heavily armed and has access to military weaponry and gear.
-Name: TBD
-Age:TBD (Young. 18-23)
-Species: Human. Unmodified/unaugmented. (There are several cybernetic augmentation/modifications humans can incorporate.)
-Sex: Male.
-General disposition: Objective and often ruthless. Reserved around those he doesn't know. Will open up somewhat around those he's familiar with. Ambitious, highly intelligent, and an athlete comparable to private wartime contractors or special operations military. His one last vestige of childishness is a vice and drug known as THC in it's leafy form which is smoked during his recreation time. (His immediate supervisor knows about his use, otherwise the corporation is unaware.)
Abit more about him:
Even though his father, a wealthy investor in the replicant manufacturing sector, had to pull strings to get his boot in the door, the youth has proven himself a venerable Blade Runner within 2 years of service. Half way through his third year, he now answers to only top two commanding officers in his sector and is generally only offered very specialized contracts that demand extreme discretion for private parties in sensitive positions. Most tread very carefully around this young man given his performance record. After all...few turn against their own species in pursuit of their duties. This young man has no problem turning in or killing even his own (assuming they present a threat) if he learns they are working with replicants designated for retirement. Internal Affairs have approached him about a job...one that he's thought about many times, but has neglected to accept due to the blood test require for application (THC is still frowned upon even in the future when it comes to job applications). Hated by many, feared by most, the few that know and like him give him as much hell as he can tolerate given his youth. His circle of friends is very small and generally work related. He does however visit the movie theater, poker rooms, and enjoys running trails through remote regions in his documented recreation time.

Weaknesses: Besides being young and relatively inexperience in certain areas of life, he's very human and squishy outside his armor despite his physical conditioning. He can bleed out from mortal injuries, sustain enough brain damage to be incapacitated, broken bones hurt like a sombitch and consequently slow him down and hamper combat efficiency. He is susceptible to thirst, hunger, and fatigue from lack of sleep. Replicants can also sustain longer in adverse environments such as in the vacuum of space or under water where he can not. It's obvious that Replicants can outmatch him in every category here. (He is ingesting a professionally frowned upon substance, however a replicant attempting this method of attack would have to approach Blade Runner leadership in order to use such an angle against him...this angle of attack would be very dangerous and possibly detrimental to survival, not to mention a trackable means of detection.)

What I'm looking for in a rp partner:
-Adult: 18+
-Experienced rper. You're familiar with the subject matter and how to rp.
-Multipara only. 2-3 paragraphs at minimum please. I enjoy those who can not only respond, but drive the story too.
-Preferably Female. (Female Replicants have a slight advantage given they can appeal to his basic human needs or manipulate and get close to him if he doesn't suspect her as a replicant to find a weakness or other means of attack.)
-Species/manufacturer: Davis-Merner Corporation - Nexus 200 Line (So human-like, one must scan and confirm manufacture number at one or more microscopic labeling sites on product. Blood platelet cells are sufficient.) These replicants can bleed and heal wounds, reproduce with other replicates assuming manufacturer has equipped proper modules, monthly menstrual cycles (assuming female), heal broken bones and even sustain mortal wounds (assuming not combat model. Combat model must sustain heart/brain damage in order for retirement.)
-Operation/duty: TBD (You pick your occupation. This can range from a Pleasure model gone rogue hacker/killer via additional blackmarket augmentations to a Combat model that's gone AWOL and looking for a quieter life. We can discuss more on this later as this will determine flow and direction of rp.)
-Mission: Run. Hide. Survive. Or kill your hunter and creator (at risk of escalation. More hunters, with bigger guns.) Get offworld or find your creator and kill him for his transgressions against your kind. You don't agree with your creator's ideals given the inhuman positions you've been put in and are determined to create your own life outside the confines of Replicant slavery. But you must work to eat and live, so finding a job for credits is necessary. Purchasing fake ID and credentials isn't hard on the black market.
-Strengths: Stronger, faster, longer lasting endurance, breath hold for up to 15 minutes if needed, adrenal and endorphin systems that effectively allow next to no pain reception upon injury (thus no loss of combat effectiveness), intellectually on par with humans. Given the water in human skin starts to boil and swell during exposure to the vacuum of space or high pressure environments, your skin doesn't react as harshly, your ear drums don't burst, you feel slight burning and some numbness. Your eyes burn like hell in space though and the tendency to close them is almost instinctive. You still melt and scream upon contact with fire like most living things.
-Weaknesses: 9/10 Humans that know you're rogue HATE you and will point in your direction to anyone asking questions. You will be very lucky to find someone that wants to help you. Everyone knows what happens to Replicant sympathizers... Given how close you are to humans now, you are susceptible to things like psychological warfare, mind games, fear of death is a real motivator and also a source of possible bad decisions via paranoia that could lead to your making mistakes that provide a bread crumb trail to finding you. You can be shot in vital organs and slowed down. You can be "retired" upon head shot. (So don't peak around corners you know the hunter is around...) If you are shot in chest, you will choke on blood and breathing becomes harder, slowing you down slightly. (Combat models are much more resilient and can take hits like a Terminator and keep on truck'n.)
(Naturally, if you choose a combat model, you will be given different attributes, strengths and weaknesses vs a non-combat model replicant. I leave these advantages and disadvantages to be determined by you in detail when you go to make your character sheet. All details are subject to scrutiny and modification BEFORE rp starts.)

If you made it this far, thank you for the time. I'm sure you can tell I enjoy the Blade Runner movies and sci fi stuff in general...Don't hesitate to PM and ask questions or just post a character sheet for review.

Thank you!
