Any ideas for plot?

In a time before ours, the Four Gate Guardians were in harmony with one another. Each of the four guardians held great power and were of great importance to our ancestors. Each guardian was tasked by, the Great Imperial Dragon, with bringing forth the seasons while maintaining balance of the world using their mastery of the elements they embody and protecting the inhabitants of the world.


The Great Imperial Dragon gave the earth form becoming a canvas for the other four to mold it as they say fit. The Black Tortoise called forth winter using it's mastery over water to flood the barren land thus providing nourishment for the land. The Green Dragon touched the earth once flooded and brought with it the season of spring. Channeling the element of wood, trees grew wherever it touched as it spread through the land. The graceful phoenix would descend upon the land and with it the season of summer. As it flies through the sky, it' fiery plumage would set ablaze to the trees thus returning to the earth as ashes. The White Tiger would rise from the ashes and prowl the land bringing with it autumn. Its metal claws would touch the waters, thus enriching it so that new life would sprout in the coming spring while it fought the chill of winter.


All was well, all was balanced. Yet even as the cycle continued there was a darkness that grew with the passage of time. A shadow of corruption quickly rose and with it, chaos. It plagued the land enveloping it in a spiral of deceit and desire. The guardians fought bravely yet even their great power was not enough to stem the tide of darkness. Sensing the balance has shifted, the great imperial dragon sought the aid of humans. Humans are born of the earth, given form by the imperial dragon. Resilient and adaptive through the cycles, the great imperial dragon gave humans the power to channel the mystical powers of the guardians through four great gates. Each gate focused the mystic energies of a different guardian. With these gates, humans fought back the darkness and balance was once again restored to the world. Not all good things last long however. For every light there is a shadow that follows it. All things are corruptible and the shadows know this.


Many centuries have passed since the time of the shadow plague and although the world has changed greatly, history has a habit of repeating itself. Even now the shadows sink into the heart of the people and the guardians are once again powerless to stop it. Now the guardian gates is inside one human bean the one true hero.(this could be mine or your character)
