Hello!


I am Myst, and I've recently joined this site! I have been writing for a few years now and am just starting to get back into it. Currently looking for new people to write with! I guess I should get right into it, then...~

Looking for.... detailed to very detailed long-term roleplay partners for pairings and small group RPs


Genres.... fantasy, sci-fi/sci-fi fantasy, modern, future, romance, adult romance


Availability.... weekday evenings, typically all day on the weekends. I am in the Central US timezone.


Response Time.... I usually respond on the day I receive a response from someone. I respond as soon as I can, but depending on how detailed our posts are and how many roleplays I have going on, it can vary how quickly I get back to you. But normally, you should receive a response from me in no more than two days!


Etiquette.... I totally understand we have lives, so we won't be able to shelve out multi paragraphs back to back all day everyday. But I would like partners that check the site everyday to every couple of days. I will normally have a pretty quick turnaround and I don't expect you to be on constantly, but I kinda don't want to wait a week for a response. Alternately, if you are going to be busy and won't be on as often, just let me know. I get it all too well. That way I'm not babying my laptop/phone trying to see if you're ever going to respond. Also, if you lose interest or for other reasons wish to drop the RP, please don't just leave me hanging. Again, I kinda don't want to sit around waiting to hear back.


Requirements.... I like a healthy 3 paragraphs for a response, as that is how much I will normally write. Sometimes I will write more so it's perfectly fine if your post is longer. Dialogue can be much shorter posts because, well, no need to write a novel for a conversation. :'D I don't mind if the RP is in PM or threaded, but I prefer OOC to be in a separate PM or via Kik or some outside messaging source.


Pairings.... I normally write female, however I can write male. I am okay with hetero/homo pairings, so idc if it's mxf, fxf, etc. Some pairings I have in mind are studentxstudent, neighborxneighbor, roommatexroommate, coworkerxcoworker, bartender/dj/server/etcxregular, vampirexvampire, vampirexhuman, travelerxtraveler, humanxsupernaturalbeingotherthanvampire, character/familyfriend, characterxtutor.


Settings/Circumstances.... college, work, taking lessons somewhere, traveling the world (supernatural or realistic), pregnancy, romance, new to town, visiting a new establishment for the first time, new to the school, seen each other around but the first time talking, being each other's secret, being someone's secret.


I'm in the market for pairings and small groups. I don't do fandoms, but I don't mind repurposing RP ideas you have seen somewhere else. We don't have to come up with a 100% original concept. That said, I'm all for original ideas!


I have a few characters developed, and if you guys are interested in starting a 1x1 or small group with one or more of them, I am more than open to that! I enjoy starting up an original roleplay using these characters so at any time anyone wants to start one, so this is definitely always open for new partners/groups!

  Details: Saved as a baby from a car crash that killed her entire family, Myst was taken to the temple of the elementals and was offered to the goddess, Almas. In exchange for prolonging the dying child's life, Almas uses Myst's body as a host. Through a long ritual where the temple maidens were in fierce concentration for hours, Myst's elemental afterlife was born. She now sports the trademark grey skin and eyes of the shadow elementals, but retained her bright red, long hair. As the new temple goddess, Almas may be transformed into weapons of her choice. Her weapons of choice are double swords made of the black diamond material Almas manifests in. If she can't be found holed up in the temple, she is out traveling the lands in search of improperly closed portals to and from the Void, the astral plane. Almas and by extension, Myst, are able to travel in the Void indefinitely without feeling the heavy side effects of prolonged exposure. They also can enter and exit without leaving behind troublesome portals that can throw off the dimension or allow demons and beasts from the under and nether worlds to escape.

  Details: Mari is a mermaid without a pod and without much knowledge of mermaid life, or human life, for that matter. Her mother was killed by Antoan Borieaga when she was just a fledgling. The pod thought both of them had been killed in their grotto and decided that for the safety of the rest, they abandon their homestead. Mari did what she could to survive out in the seas but as time progressed, she found herself unable to fend off predators from above and below so she adapted on land and sprouted a pair of legs. It has been quite some time since Mari left the ocean to try and slip in with the masses and she now makes her living traveling between factories performing the tasks she could. Any contact water makes on her skin when she is on land will revert her back into her mermaid form. If she is exposed in front of a human, she is obliged to grant them a wish. She has found that she doesn't feel compelled to obey someone if she shows them on her own accord. Her mode of water manipulation is ice, though the usage is sporadic, at best.

  Appearance: Long, straight strawberry blonde hair. A heavily freckled face and body. Eyes that change from one blue and one amber to both blue or both amber. She is either sunken into herself in anxiety and shyness (represented by both eyes being blue) or sultry and confident (represented by both amber eyes)
  
  
  Details: Lilla is a genetics and cloning experiment gone horribly wrong. A scientist was testing brain compatibility for the experiment and stumbled across Lilla Alvedaire's profile amongst the large database of screenings from the citizens of the mega city. She was summoned and forced to submit herself to the laboratory for testing. The scientist was wanting to clone a brain that was able to survive a personality adjustment for citizen compliancy and then derive a serum to have produced and distributed and administered. But the calculations were off and only half of Lilla's brain was affected by the treatment. The scientist shut the experiment down when the machine malfunctions and the sudden loss of power didn't allow the test serum to settle properly and instead of overlapping her original personality with an obedient one, it went into hyperactivity and her conscious split into two polar opposite halves. She was able to escape from the laboratory and flee to another city, but the scientist continues their search for her to this day. Presently, she suffers no physical side effects from the experiment, but she is unable to predict when her personalities will switch. She does her best to hide it, since the consciousnesses she houses are two completely different sides of her.

  Details: Kliou is a descendant of the revered cats of the pyramids in ancient egypt. The pharaohs would train the cats to protect the palace and their afterlives. Most males were sent to frontlines and on expeditions to keep and acquire territories overtaken under the pharaoh’s control, but some stayed near the palace with the females, protecting the home front. Kliou, born an albino amongst the dark skinned and dark haired siblings and species, is one of the females primed to provide personal service to the pharaohs, and their wives/husbands. The current pharaoh is demanding and cruel and she does not wish to serve under him. The cat, who was once a revered creature, has been reduced to a slave killed on the spot for disobedience. Personal servants to the pharaoh that were selected from these specially trained females were buried in the pharaoh’s tomb upon their deaths to protect their afterlives. This is despite the fact this special evolution of cat that appears human with ears, tails and cat-like instincts have extremely long lives. Just before Kliou is chosen to be one of the pharaoh’s maidens, a time-space ripple flares and she is sucked into it and sent far into the future. In this strange new world, Kliou is forced to disguise herself as a human and not use her full form, otherwise she creates an abnormal energy signature that the male that personally guards the pharaoh, Khenti, can track her with.

  Details: Kalei Oberon is the heiress to the pure blood family of the vampire society. Her parents sacrificed themselves for the safety of their kind when she was younger, leaving her and her brother tasked with running not only the estate, but governing the vampire society when they came of age. The senate still operates in her parents’ absence but the Oberons still attend and officiate the sessions. But, by Oberons, it’s only Kalei who attends. Her brother, Damascus, has become estranged from the family, out of control with his bloodlust. As a pure blood vampire, Kalei, and others of her status, are able to abstain from the hazy bloodlust that spawns from being near humans. Having never fed from a human, only from wild animals or her slew of servants that obey her every order. Kalei lives in the large mansion on the estate and will sneak away at times to escape her duties. She often feels the immense pressure of her duties. Especially regarding her brother, who the senate is debating whether or not to gather the pure blood families to hunt Damascus and execute him for his carelessness and threat to expose their world.

Or, if you are interested in a roleplay that doesn’t have to be created completely from scratch, I have a few plot ideas. These are just a couple that I have thought of and think would be interesting to do, but I am completely open to other ideas, as well. Some of the roleplays can be a pairing or a group, and for fairness, there will be no doubling. For story ideas that I thought could be group eligible, I am looking for 2-4 extra writers to begin writing. The group story ideas will be open until a group of 5 is made, so anyone wanting to jump on later is welcome to join as long as there are slots available. *All the taken roleplays will be struck through* So, in case any of that is confusing, I’ll recap. Here are some story ideas. Some storylines have a pairing and group option and I will be looking for 1-4 others. For fairness, pairings are first come first served and anyone who replies later I am more than happy to include you in the group story for that same idea.

  On a flight journeying to their vacation paradise, a storm brews out over the sea and quickly picks up strength, damaging the wing of the plane. It crashes into the shallows of an unmarked island and washes up ashore its pristine sands. The vast majority do not survive the plane crash, but a few are able to free themselves from the wreckage to find they are now stranded on the island. Upon inspection of the mangled and flooded airplane cabin, the survivors are only able to find a few packets of food and bottled water not destroyed in the crash. The aircraft radio system was not functional and the electrical system was damaged in the crash and destroyed by the water. Faced with the task of living long enough to signal for help and be rescued off the island, the survivors must find a way to make it. They must use what they can salvage from the wreckage materials, stay warm and dry during the tropical storms that frequents the seas and utilize the thick forests that spill out into the shoreline. The terrain, while not very jagged, is very uneven and features many hills and small mountains. The temperature is hot and humid, with cooler nights, and if the survivors aren’t careful, the cold rains can induce hypothermia. But the survivors must act quickly, because even with the forces of nature already against them, failure to acquire sufficient shelter won’t only leave them exposed to the elements, but exposed to the hungry audience of predators lurking in the deep recesses of the island.

  In the setting of a bleak dystopian future, a powerful military regime has taken control of the once beloved government of the Republic of Byindiir. Having overhauled the peaceful lands and placed troops throughout the settlements to enforce the harsh and cruel policies and procedures set forth by the tyrant, Orwell Scottston. Before its fall, the Republic spanned over the entire continent and consisted of countless small villages and a handful of large cities strategically placed throughout the land. Citizens were forced into predetermined jobs and had strict curfews, in some areas. City dwellers that had more monetarily substantial jobs were forced to lose a large percentage of their incomes to taxes to fund the overly large military. The only ones that received immunity or reduced taxes were the social elites of the aristocracy that funded the less righteous expeditions of Orwell’s regime. Rural areas are subject to having harvests and livestock seized to be distributed throughout the Republic.
  
  
  From the belly of the dark monster arises a rebellion. It is comprised of working class citizens of the urban and rural areas of the republic. The group is small, but growing in number. The leader of the rebellion faces a difficult task. Until there are enough troops to stage a coup d’etat, they must lay low and continue to gradually acquire resources to aid them in their battles. The rebellion occupies abandoned bunkers and sends members to travel over the continent to secretly gain supporters and intel. Even within the cities, there are rebels working in the administration, passing on vital information.
  
  
  The rebellion is nearing its opportunity to overtake the regime and restore the former glory of the Republic, but will they be able to strike before time runs out?

  Corinne DuBourge was born into the royal family of the Gellenvalian Kingdom. Gellenvale is a beautiful oasis in an otherwise mountainous countryside. The princess is to come of age soon and must take a husband to join her side as she takes the throne. Marrying young scares the vibrant, eccentric and rebellious Rin and she often steals away to explore the kingdom. Her parents, the king and queen, have lined up several bachelors Rin must be courted by. The men are princes and dukes from far away lands with leaders hopeful that their sons will be chosen by the princess of great Gellenvale and marry into the large and prosperous kingdom. Unlike most of the generations in the past of the royal family, the king and queen only gave birth to one child. It is customary in the kingdoms to have multi-siblings in the royal family so that the lineage continues. Rin cares not for her royal lineage and duties, though she cares very much for her kingdom. She wishes she could explore the beautiful country land and be able to rule the hospitable people without having to submit to the ridiculous image her parents insist she adopt. Do your hair and makeup. Dress sharp. Attend parliament meetings. Take audience with the kingdom’s subjects. Well, Rin didn’t mind meeting with the Gellenvalians. They were a kind, hard-working people. Corinne had been primed and groomed into a proper heir and the kingdom loved her, but there was no acceptance for the easygoing person that she was. She began to sneak off from the palace to explore, shortening her name to Rin and wearing a disguise so that she wasn’t found so easily. Rin gets more than she bargains for when she runs away to a small fishing/farming town/stronghold and meets a young boy. She becomes closer to him than she has ever been with anyone in her entire life. But what happens when he finds out that she’s the heir to the Gellenvalian throne?

  Character A always had a quiet life. Work. Home. Eat. Sleep. Work. Character A did the same thing every single day. Antisocial tendencies provoked by a past full of bullies, Character A slipped into the masses as an adult leading an ordinary life. It was what Character A thought would keep them safe. Character B moves in across the hallway from Character A and a fateful knock on Character A’s door changed everything. Character B needed help getting a piece of furniture through their door and was asking for help. Upon entering Character B’s apartment after helping pull in the furniture, Character A is speechless at all of the beautiful artwork, colors and energy. Just from looking around the main room of the apartment, Character A can see how vibrant and full of life Character B is and unlike Character A’s normal move to avert physical, social or emotional interaction, Character A immediately wants to spend more time with Character B. But of course they can’t just come out and say that. Character A returns to their apartment and shuts the door behind them. Over the countless days after Character B moves in, Character A suffers from the stress of how to approach Character B, which results in many awkward standoffs at the mailboxes. Why does Character A feel the need to reach out to Character B? They were just fine living in their quiet solitude and avoiding any and all interaction.

  Character A is an intern at a company highly revered in the career community. Spending countless hours studying hard under the pressure of their strict family, Character A received perfect grades all throughout school. Character A graduated from an esteemed university that has churned out some of the wealthiest and successful businessmen of the world and now is a prospect for a job in their career. But all of Character A’s scholastic and professional accomplishments were for the strict parents that pushed them to study hard. Character A loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. They can play multiple instruments, all self-taught because their parents wouldn’t pay for lessons. Character A started a band after graduating and it is quickly gaining popularity. After a set one night in the city bar, Character A’s name is called from the parking lot the band was having a smoke in and it was Character B, an intern at the same company as Character A’s. Character A had seen Character B around, but they had never spoken until now. Character B, an admittedly attractive person, frequents the bar and enjoyed the show. They begin talking and become extremely close. Character A becomes conflicted when the band receives a chance to pick up a lot more shows around the city, but it will begin to interfere with the internship. Character B supports them, but Character A must decide between kickstarting their musical career or advancing in the career they spent months interning in.

  "Leonello, never lose faith..." Percy's last words were in his last exhale, as one of the greatest spirits in Asphrix left the land and passed his legend on to a new, hopefully ready student - the mighty Leonello of Asphrix.
  
  
  The death of Leonello's mentor flashed before his eyes when he gazed over the sunrise-lit horizon, sitting tall on his steed, Bastion, and overlooking the ocean. The salty sea air blew through his hair sneakily, and rolled across the tops of the waves. What was once a beautiful, peaceful sunrise on the banks of Asphrix was now tainted by black demons swirling through the orange and pinks of the sunset, evil creatures swimming through their waters and a dark moon threatening to cover their ever-true light source, the sun. Percyvell was his one true role model, leader, and even companion. Every time he thought of him, pain struck through him like when he was in his first practice sword fight and was slashed across his chest, shoulder to hip. But through the emotional and physical pain, all his hardships and all his challenges, he had to stay strong for his people, his country, his mother, and most of all, Percyvell.
  
  
  When morning finally graced the fields of his country, he rode over to the village and looked for the blacksmith he had hired to repair the slight dullness Justice had acquired in his battles. As he did, Bastion neighed guardedly. He stopped his canter smoothly, and assumed that Bastion just needed some water. As he searched for nearby troughs, he spotted what his horse was cautious of - a little blonde-haired girl, face dirtied and body curled up on the side of the wall around the city of Nettleton. He hopped down off of his horse and carefully approached the little one.

Hello, Myst!

Here, I go by Pigeon - hi! I'm also relatively new to RPN, but I've been writing casually for years. Based on your interests and preferences, I think we might work well together.

Availability: Variable - I check the site multiple times every day, but due to work I can't say for certain which days I'll be consistently available. Afternoons and evenings in general are more open than my mornings, though.


Time Zone: Pacific (UTC -8), so I'm two hours behind you.


Response Time: My trend is about one-three posts per week, but I'm working on responding more quickly and frequently.


Style Preference: I'm also looking for a detailed partner, but only where it concerns the writing and content. I'm not a stickler for post length (as it's rarely an indication of good writing), but I can absolutely meet a three paragraph minimum.


Character Preference: I enjoy creating both male and female characters, but my preference varies depending on the role-play. Recently, I've been gravitating toward male characters. My principle characters also tend to be heterosexual.

Realistic Ideas


Backpacking across Europe: High school grads celebrate their last summer before college by embarking on a foreign transcontinental journey. Culture shock, language barriers, and travel hijinks ensue. (one x one; small group)


Workplace rivalry: Two talented cooks compete for the title of Chef de Cuisine. Tension reaches boiling point as they battle to reach the top. Something is definitely sizzling in this kitchen, but it's not the food. (one x one - doesn't have to be a restaurant kitchen setting)


The beach house: Six twenty-something friends decide to take a late winter vacation on the coast. They rent a cozy beach house and make plans for a week of relaxing bliss by the sea. But when the day arrives, four of the six friends cancel at the very last minute, leaving two semi-acquaintances alone for seven days. This could be unbearably awkward. Or possibly the best thing that's ever happened to either of them. (one x one)

April didn’t know the bride. Once, way back in college, she knew her a little, but she didn’t know her now. They had been roommates for half a year, before April moved out to study abroad. When she came home, they met up maybe once or twice for an hour or so, always at Starbucks. They exchanged pleasantries and asked how they were getting on. Ninety awkward minutes of idle chit-chat later, and they had reinforced whatever thin link kept the two in each other’s lives.


Years had passed since their last meeting. April now solidly believed their friendship had permanently slipped into vague acquaintanceship, which wouldn’t even have earned a Christmas card, let alone a wedding invitation. And yet, one had come.


Sometime in March, a thick ivory envelope with gilded edges arrived in the mail. It was addressed to her in swirly calligraphy. When April saw the return address, the first thing that popped into her head was, Well, shit.


She knew she should be happy for her sort-of friend – to have found the love of her life at the age of twenty-five was lucky. But April couldn’t keep her own bubbling resentment at bay. She’d been going through something of a dry spell. She didn’t even have a careless fling or hopeful flirtation. Marriage for her wasn’t even a pinprick in the distance; it was completely invisible.


“How do I get out of it?” she asked Paige the following week while they rode the bus to work.


“Do you have to get out of it?” was Paige’s response. She wasn’t looking at April. Instead her eyes were glued to her iPhone 6 plus as she tapped away message after message.


“I won’t know anyone,” said April.


“Not true. You’ll know the bride.”


“Besides her, I mean. It’s not like I’ll be able to hang out with her for the whole night. It’s her wedding. Even then, I know her now about as well as I know the guy who works in the organic food truck down the street.”


“Steve?”


“I’m serious. It’ll be really awkward.”


Paige sighed. “Do you have to know anyone else?” Tap, tap, tap.


“It would be nice, yes. But it’s not just that. The wedding is super far away.”


“Where is it?”


“Bainbridge Island.”


“Are you kidding me?” Paige looked up from her phone, eyes wide and incredulous. “It’s like a forty-minute ferry ride from Seattle.”


“I get sea sick.”


“Then take some Dramamine,” Paige shifted in her adjacent seat so she was facing April. “You know, it says something when someone invites you to a wedding.”


“And what is that?”

And so, that was how, on the warm, cloudless morning of Saturday the 19th of September, April found herself in a too-tight dress and heels that pinched her toes, sitting in a mid-row wooden chair draped with white linen and hydrangeas, waiting for her old college roommate’s wedding ceremony to begin.

I'm open to many other realistic ideas as well, but what I've listed above is along the lines of what I'd most like to do. Currently, I'm trying to just get back into writing, so I'd love to begin something that wouldn't take too long to plan. Then we can get right to the good stuff! So, if you'd like to work out a plot out or just let me know!

Availability.... weekday evenings, typically all day on the weekends. I am in the Central US timezone.


Response Time.... I usually respond on the day I receive a response from someone. I respond as soon as I can, but depending on how detailed our posts are and how many roleplays I have going on, it can vary how quickly I get back to you. But normally, you should receive a response from me in no more than two days!


Etiquette.... I totally understand we have lives, so we won't be able to shelve out multi paragraphs back to back all day everyday. But I would like partners that check the site everyday to every couple of days. I will normally have a pretty quick turnaround and I don't expect you to be on constantly, but I kinda don't want to wait a week for a response. Alternately, if you are going to be busy and won't be on as often, just let me know. I get it all too well. That way I'm not babying my laptop/phone trying to see if you're ever going to respond. Also, if you lose interest or for other reasons wish to drop the RP, please don't just leave me hanging. Again, I kinda don't want to sit around waiting to hear back.


Requirements.... I like a healthy 3 paragraphs for a response, as that is how much I will normally write. Sometimes I will write more so it's perfectly fine if your post is longer. Dialogue can be much shorter posts because, well, no need to write a novel for a conversation. :'D I don't mind if the RP is in PM or threaded, but I prefer OOC to be in a separate PM or via Kik or some outside messaging source.


Pairings.... I normally write female, however I can write male. I am okay with hetero/homo pairings, so idc if it's mxf, fxf, etc. Some pairings I have in mind are studentxstudent, neighborxneighbor, roommatexroommate, coworkerxcoworker, bartender/dj/server/etcxregular, vampirexvampire, vampirexhuman, travelerxtraveler, humanxsupernaturalbeingotherthanvampire, character/familyfriend, characterxtutor.

I'm in the market for pairings and small groups. I don't do fandoms, but I don't mind repurposing RP ideas you have seen somewhere else. We don't have to come up with a 100% original concept. That said, I'm all for original ideas!


I have a few characters developed, and if you guys are interested in starting a 1x1 or small group with one or more of them, I am more than open to that! I enjoy starting up an original roleplay using these characters so at any time anyone wants to start one, so this is definitely always open for new partners/groups!

  Details: Saved as a baby from a car crash that killed her entire family, Myst was taken to the temple of the elementals and was offered to the goddess, Almas. In exchange for prolonging the dying child's life, Almas uses Myst's body as a host. Through a long ritual where the temple maidens were in fierce concentration for hours, Myst's elemental afterlife was born. She now sports the trademark grey skin and eyes of the shadow elementals, but retained her bright red, long hair. As the new temple goddess, Almas may be transformed into weapons of her choice. Her weapons of choice are double swords made of the black diamond material Almas manifests in. If she can't be found holed up in the temple, she is out traveling the lands in search of improperly closed portals to and from the Void, the astral plane. Almas and by extension, Myst, are able to travel in the Void indefinitely without feeling the heavy side effects of prolonged exposure. They also can enter and exit without leaving behind troublesome portals that can throw off the dimension or allow demons and beasts from the under and nether worlds to escape.

  Details: Mari is a mermaid without a pod and without much knowledge of mermaid life, or human life, for that matter. Her mother was killed by Antoan Borieaga when she was just a fledgling. The pod thought both of them had been killed in their grotto and decided that for the safety of the rest, they abandon their homestead. Mari did what she could to survive out in the seas but as time progressed, she found herself unable to fend off predators from above and below so she adapted on land and sprouted a pair of legs. It has been quite some time since Mari left the ocean to try and slip in with the masses and she now makes her living traveling between factories performing the tasks she could. Any contact water makes on her skin when she is on land will revert her back into her mermaid form. If she is exposed in front of a human, she is obliged to grant them a wish. She has found that she doesn't feel compelled to obey someone if she shows them on her own accord. Her mode of water manipulation is ice, though the usage is sporadic, at best.

  Appearance: Long, straight strawberry blonde hair. A heavily freckled face and body. Eyes that change from one blue and one amber to both blue or both amber. She is either sunken into herself in anxiety and shyness (represented by both eyes being blue) or sultry and confident (represented by both amber eyes)
  
  
  Details: Lilla is a genetics and cloning experiment gone horribly wrong. A scientist was testing brain compatibility for the experiment and stumbled across Lilla Alvedaire's profile amongst the large database of screenings from the citizens of the mega city. She was summoned and forced to submit herself to the laboratory for testing. The scientist was wanting to clone a brain that was able to survive a personality adjustment for citizen compliancy and then derive a serum to have produced and distributed and administered. But the calculations were off and only half of Lilla's brain was affected by the treatment. The scientist shut the experiment down when the machine malfunctions and the sudden loss of power didn't allow the test serum to settle properly and instead of overlapping her original personality with an obedient one, it went into hyperactivity and her conscious split into two polar opposite halves. She was able to escape from the laboratory and flee to another city, but the scientist continues their search for her to this day. Presently, she suffers no physical side effects from the experiment, but she is unable to predict when her personalities will switch. She does her best to hide it, since the consciousnesses she houses are two completely different sides of her.

  Details: Kliou is a descendant of the revered cats of the pyramids in ancient egypt. The pharaohs would train the cats to protect the palace and their afterlives. Most males were sent to frontlines and on expeditions to keep and acquire territories overtaken under the pharaoh’s control, but some stayed near the palace with the females, protecting the home front. Kliou, born an albino amongst the dark skinned and dark haired siblings and species, is one of the females primed to provide personal service to the pharaohs, and their wives/husbands. The current pharaoh is demanding and cruel and she does not wish to serve under him. The cat, who was once a revered creature, has been reduced to a slave killed on the spot for disobedience. Personal servants to the pharaoh that were selected from these specially trained females were buried in the pharaoh’s tomb upon their deaths to protect their afterlives. This is despite the fact this special evolution of cat that appears human with ears, tails and cat-like instincts have extremely long lives. Just before Kliou is chosen to be one of the pharaoh’s maidens, a time-space ripple flares and she is sucked into it and sent far into the future. In this strange new world, Kliou is forced to disguise herself as a human and not use her full form, otherwise she creates an abnormal energy signature that the male that personally guards the pharaoh, Khenti, can track her with.

  Details: Kalei Oberon is the heiress to the pure blood family of the vampire society. Her parents sacrificed themselves for the safety of their kind when she was younger, leaving her and her brother tasked with running not only the estate, but governing the vampire society when they came of age. The senate still operates in her parents’ absence but the Oberons still attend and officiate the sessions. But, by Oberons, it’s only Kalei who attends. Her brother, Damascus, has become estranged from the family, out of control with his bloodlust. As a pure blood vampire, Kalei, and others of her status, are able to abstain from the hazy bloodlust that spawns from being near humans. Having never fed from a human, only from wild animals or her slew of servants that obey her every order. Kalei lives in the large mansion on the estate and will sneak away at times to escape her duties. She often feels the immense pressure of her duties. Especially regarding her brother, who the senate is debating whether or not to gather the pure blood families to hunt Damascus and execute him for his carelessness and threat to expose their world.

Or, if you are interested in a roleplay that doesn’t have to be created completely from scratch, I have a few plot ideas. These are just a couple that I have thought of and think would be interesting to do, but I am completely open to other ideas, as well. Some of the roleplays can be a pairing or a group, and for fairness, there will be no doubling. For story ideas that I thought could be group eligible, I am looking for 2-4 extra writers to begin writing. The group story ideas will be open until a group of 5 is made, so anyone wanting to jump on later is welcome to join as long as there are slots available. *All the taken roleplays will be struck through* So, in case any of that is confusing, I’ll recap.   On a flight journeying to their vacation paradise, a storm brews out over the sea and quickly picks up strength, damaging the wing of the plane. It crashes into the shallows of an unmarked island and washes up ashore its pristine sands. The vast majority do not survive the plane crash, but a few are able to free themselves from the wreckage to find they are now stranded on the island. Upon inspection of the mangled and flooded airplane cabin, the survivors are only able to find a few packets of food and bottled water not destroyed in the crash. The aircraft radio system was not functional and the electrical system was damaged in the crash and destroyed by the water. Faced with the task of living long enough to signal for help and be rescued off the island, the survivors must find a way to make it. They must use what they can salvage from the wreckage materials, stay warm and dry during the tropical storms that frequents the seas and utilize the thick forests that spill out into the shoreline. The terrain, while not very jagged, is very uneven and features many hills and small mountains. The temperature is hot and humid, with cooler nights, and if the survivors aren’t careful, the cold rains can induce hypothermia. But the survivors must act quickly, because even with the forces of nature already against them, failure to acquire sufficient shelter won’t only leave them exposed to the elements, but exposed to the hungry audience of predators lurking in the deep recesses of the island.

  In the setting of a bleak dystopian future, a powerful military regime has taken control of the once beloved government of the Republic of Byindiir. Having overhauled the peaceful lands and placed troops throughout the settlements to enforce the harsh and cruel policies and procedures set forth by the tyrant, Orwell Scottston. Before its fall, the Republic spanned over the entire continent and consisted of countless small villages and a handful of large cities strategically placed throughout the land. Citizens were forced into predetermined jobs and had strict curfews, in some areas. City dwellers that had more monetarily substantial jobs were forced to lose a large percentage of their incomes to taxes to fund the overly large military. The only ones that received immunity or reduced taxes were the social elites of the aristocracy that funded the less righteous expeditions of Orwell’s regime. Rural areas are subject to having harvests and livestock seized to be distributed throughout the Republic.
  
  
  From the belly of the dark monster arises a rebellion. It is comprised of working class citizens of the urban and rural areas of the republic. The group is small, but growing in number. The leader of the rebellion faces a difficult task. Until there are enough troops to stage a coup d’etat, they must lay low and continue to gradually acquire resources to aid them in their battles. The rebellion occupies abandoned bunkers and sends members to travel over the continent to secretly gain supporters and intel. Even within the cities, there are rebels working in the administration, passing on vital information.
  
  
  The rebellion is nearing its opportunity to overtake the regime and restore the former glory of the Republic, but will they be able to strike before time runs out?

  Corinne DuBourge was born into the royal family of the Gellenvalian Kingdom. Gellenvale is a beautiful oasis in an otherwise mountainous countryside. The princess is to come of age soon and must take a husband to join her side as she takes the throne. Marrying young scares the vibrant, eccentric and rebellious Rin and she often steals away to explore the kingdom. Her parents, the king and queen, have lined up several bachelors Rin must be courted by. The men are princes and dukes from far away lands with leaders hopeful that their sons will be chosen by the princess of great Gellenvale and marry into the large and prosperous kingdom. Unlike most of the generations in the past of the royal family, the king and queen only gave birth to one child. It is customary in the kingdoms to have multi-siblings in the royal family so that the lineage continues. Rin cares not for her royal lineage and duties, though she cares very much for her kingdom. She wishes she could explore the beautiful country land and be able to rule the hospitable people without having to submit to the ridiculous image her parents insist she adopt. Do your hair and makeup. Dress sharp. Attend parliament meetings. Take audience with the kingdom’s subjects. Well, Rin didn’t mind meeting with the Gellenvalians. They were a kind, hard-working people. Corinne had been primed and groomed into a proper heir and the kingdom loved her, but there was no acceptance for the easygoing person that she was. She began to sneak off from the palace to explore, shortening her name to Rin and wearing a disguise so that she wasn’t found so easily. Rin gets more than she bargains for when she runs away to a small fishing/farming town/stronghold and meets a young boy. She becomes closer to him than she has ever been with anyone in her entire life. But what happens when he finds out that she’s the heir to the Gellenvalian throne?

  Character A always had a quiet life. Work. Home. Eat. Sleep. Work. Character A did the same thing every single day. Antisocial tendencies provoked by a past full of bullies, Character A slipped into the masses as an adult leading an ordinary life. It was what Character A thought would keep them safe. Character B moves in across the hallway from Character A and a fateful knock on Character A’s door changed everything. Character B needed help getting a piece of furniture through their door and was asking for help. Upon entering Character B’s apartment after helping pull in the furniture, Character A is speechless at all of the beautiful artwork, colors and energy. Just from looking around the main room of the apartment, Character A can see how vibrant and full of life Character B is and unlike Character A’s normal move to avert physical, social or emotional interaction, Character A immediately wants to spend more time with Character B. But of course they can’t just come out and say that. Character A returns to their apartment and shuts the door behind them. Over the countless days after Character B moves in, Character A suffers from the stress of how to approach Character B, which results in many awkward standoffs at the mailboxes. Why does Character A feel the need to reach out to Character B? They were just fine living in their quiet solitude and avoiding any and all interaction.

Spending countless hours studying hard under the pressure of their strict family, Character A received perfect grades all throughout school. Character A graduated from an esteemed university that has churned out some of the wealthiest and successful businessmen of the world and now is a prospect for a job in their career. But all of Character A’s scholastic and professional accomplishments were for the strict parents that pushed them to study hard. Character A loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. They can play multiple instruments, all self-taught because their parents wouldn’t pay for lessons. Character A started a band after graduating and it is quickly gaining popularity. After a set one night in the city bar, Character A’s name is called from the parking lot the band was having a smoke in and it was Character B, an intern at the same company as Character A’s. Character A had seen Character B around, but they had never spoken until now. Character B, an admittedly attractive person, frequents the bar and enjoyed the show. They begin talking and become extremely close. Character A becomes conflicted when the band receives a chance to pick up a lot more shows around the city, but it will begin to interfere with the internship. Character B supports them, but Character A must decide between kickstarting their musical career or advancing in the career they spent months interning in.
