Askel
One cat away from crazy
Introduction
● I am in my late twenties and prefer to work with people closer to my own age. 21+ only.
● While I try to post within a couple of days, it does not always happen.
I’d prefer weekly activity, at least in OOC.
● I live for multidimensional characters and well thought of replies with
decent amount of content in them. My average post is often closer to 500-1000+ words,
depending on my partner's writing style. Happy to offer post samples.
I expect my partners to contribute to the story just as much as I do.
● PMs here, or gdocs & email. I have Discord for OOC.
● I use actors and models for faceclaims.
Descriptions are perfectly fine too.
● I love imperfect and complex relationships. I am not interested in forcing romance on
characters that have no chemistry together. Platonic stories rock, too!
I can write any gender in any pairing, but I mostly prefer mm//.
● Deal breakers include dominant/submissive or active/passive roles,
abuser/victim relationships, slice of life, doubling.

Plots/ideas
Setting
Post-apocalyptic dystopia, where [something] has taken over the world. The humans that fall victim to this [parasite? mind-controlling implant?] lose their identity and become mindless members of a hivemind community that nobody has ever escaped or been rescued from. Survivors are few and far in between, most of them gone hiding with no hopes of a better future.
...And that’s pretty much all I’ve got at the moment, haha. Some world building will be necessary. As a more character-driven writer, I admit it’s not one of my strengths nor biggest interests, so please, feel free to contribute!
Characters
[Character A] is an ex-hive member, who was caught and somehow able to resist the mind-control aspect of it and escape with [Character B]’s help. A pessimist who does not want to be a hero, despite holding a key that might be able to save the world.
[Character B] has kept surveillance on the hive and is able to aid [Character A] in their escape. They are dead-set on finding a way to free all those who have been lost to the hive, and it’s a cause they are willing to die for.
As someone who writes men 99% of the time, I admit I’d prefer something else for a change. I love strong female leads (Lara Croft, for example), and I’d like to write Character A as one (in m/f or ff//). If mm// is preferred, I think I'd rather play Character B. But I'm open to discussing this. c:
