Hello hello, I'm Ocie! I've been looking to write a story in the Arcane world since the series first came out and I'm finally getting off my ass to do it lmao. Before getting into it, here's my lil carrd with information about my rp style, including writing samples. Please take a look before messaging me just to make sure that we'll match well!

I do have an idea in mind that I'll expand on below, but if it isn't up your alley and you still want to rp something in the Arcane world then 100% message me and tell me your ideas/ocs/thoughts!! I want to hear them!! I'm so game for anything Arcane related, this is just the only idea I've developed enough in my mind to write out an ad for lol.
Important Bits:
- 20+ writers only please
- Literate-novella; I'm pretty flexible and I do believe in quality over quantity, but I'm looking for at least four or more descriptive paragraphs per post
- For this rp, I want it to be more slow-burn and character-driven
- I'm kinda new to rpnation and prefer to rp in a private discord server but I'm willing to do ooc on discord and the actual rp writing on-site! I just don't really like rpnation dms for chatting
- I'm only looking for OC x OC
- Idc what gender our characters are
- I'm a yappinator when I get into an rp

My current craving is a plot that combines Viktor/Jayce's inventor vibes and Cait/Vi's undercity-piltover differences. It would take place before the series starts aka before hextech, though I'm very open to diverging from canon worldbuilding and making our own timeline or just tweaking the world as we go to fit our story better. For the plot, I'm currently more interested in playing character B and I have some ideas already, but I would also be open to playing character A if you feel super strongly about it!
Character A is an inventor/scientist from the undercity who goes undercover in Piltover's academy to steal notes or technology from one of Piltover's finest inventors, character B. B is working on something magic-related which is highly frowned upon by the council and B is very secretive about their work, making it even more difficult for A to gain access to their research. B could be grappling with similar issues as Viktor with their own mortality looming, or alternatively, they could be investigating magic to cure a dying family member/friend, or for an entirely different reason. A has to gain their trust and get them to share their research—cue the dilemma of A growing close to B (Much to their surprise... falling for a Pilty.... embarrassing...) and not wanting to betray them, but B's research could revolutionize the undercity (for better or for worse...?), etc.
I'm thinking forced proximity, enemies to lovers, slow-burn, character-driven, betrayal, having negative opinions of each other but slowly realizing that their assumptions were wrong as they get to know one another. All that good stuff. B could be encountering a roadblock in their research and asks A for help and as they work together they gain an admiration for the way each other's minds work, AGH I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS AND THOUGHTS ABOUT IT. This particular plot won't have much action or fighting, particularly for the first bit as it'll be about more subtle kinds of conflict.
We can start off with just our main two ocs but I will definitely be branching out and writing sides eventually. You're ofc welcome to do so too! I find that sides just flesh out the world as well as my main. B would have co-workers, research assistants, friends; there's the council members, academy staff, A could have contacts in Piltover that are also undercover, etc.
ALSO IMPORTANT: I've talked a lot about what I'm looking for but rp is collaborative!! Please feel free to spitball with me and suggest or reject things!! I want to make this ours :] I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!!!
