Howdy all,
I'm Har, a crusty old man in his mid twenties looking for mature partners, and by mature I don't mean to suggest erotic but rather demeanor and writing style. I RPed as a wee lad so I know some of the 'ins-and-outs' but my main purpose for returning is to get myself to start writing more. I think the social weight of replying is an excellent motivator in that regard.
All that having been said I'm looking more for a partner than I am for any particular 'plot' or pairing and I'd prefer someone with similar mentality. Which is to say if we get bored or start a story that we arn't really connecting with to express as much so we can brainstorm on other stories. Someone willing to be critical is also welcome, not necessarily on grammar but on syntax, structure, etc. Oh and a willingness to portray and write other characters into and out of scenes so that it's not just two characters dancing in a void alone. Post length isn't too important as long as it isn't sparse or too verbose and overly detailed.
As for interests, as I said, I don't have strong preferences. An engaging story with a hook. Romance that evolves and isn't the center or purpose of the plot. Fantasy elements, setting or otherwise. I'm a bit of a sucker for more campy or cheesy premises so long as they are played straight, ala Buffy or similar. No fandoms however.
Prefer RP to take place over email. I'll respond a minimum of once a day, except on weekends or holidays. Please let me know if you're interested so we can start cooking something up!
