The wars raged for centeries between the Great prides, peace was a foolish dream for those who wished it. it was only after the war that the gods and ancestors sought peace and punished the rulers. a vow was made and the kings as well as their prides lost their powers.

a new generation takes place in their respective kingdoms as it was a era of peace. the new rulers setting rules as over time the gifts returned. but conflict is not erased from the land.
a prince and princess are due to be married for the sake of peace. only to be inturupted by the storm king. kamaras future was shattered and she was stripped of her royal status forced to flee from her home and start a new life. her mate was killed off her parents were banished, and her pride had scattered.
