Multiple Settings 1x1 Collaboration

Hey all,

I'll keep it simple. I haven't rped for years but I'm advanced and love collaborating a story. I'm on vaca so I've got more free time than normal and an itch to write.

I'm open to almost any idea/storyline/characters. I prefer to play male characters.

I prefer stories that have a base in reality but can have twists of fantasy.

I love the ups and downs of a story so no perfect characters/god-moding etc.

I don't expect essays but no one liner type posts unless absolutely appropriate.

Romance is fine as long as it's not the whole main focus.

Awesome here's a couple ideas I have. I'm open to collaboration and I love building the details of our story and characters as we go.

Idea #1
A company is testing a drug disguised as a healing agent when in fact its giving people super powers. The reactions and powers are of varying degrees and the testing and doses are long term. The company is secretly building a drug to develop super humans for weapons. They advertised the trial with a cash reward for full participation. This drew in our characters who needed the money for one reason or another.

Our characters figure out something is off and the company and drug is not what it seemed. They signed a contract that doesn't allow them to leave before the end of their trial so try to escape and the challenge begins as they cant let the company know they're on to them.

(It can build from there.)

Idea #2
Our characters meet in a bar. My character is undercover fbi investigating a drug/gun ring. Your character gets involved somehow. They could end up also being undercover maybe cia or another agency and they end up being caught by the mafia somehow involved but they cant let them know their real identitys. Maybe they're found out and held for ransom or tortured for info.

I also like the idea of our characters not liking each other at first but growing on each other as the story develops.
