Realistic or Modern 1700s French Magical/Supernatural Academy (Steampunk) OOC

I have a question. You mentioned in the interest check that there can be halfbreeds between a human and another race within reason. Would you allow a character that is a Dhamphir (a vampire x human hybrid) with the human part being a sorcerer (through her father). If so, I have in mind that this person would have just turned 15 and both blood lines would have just suddenly activated, before that the child thought they were a normal human so everything is new and confusing to them.

Also, your list of magics make me think of Wizard 101 with the different wizarding schools. In light of that, I have another question. Would runic magic and say...magic like in Harry Potter be okay or does it have to be a specific...profession? As I was thinking this character would have a Grayish-Dark Morality, gradually extending towards full dark as their vampire heritage takes full root and settles. SomebodyElse

I'm okay with hybrids as long as they are weaker in both lineage aspects than purebreds. You can be half vampire and half human but don't expect to have full sorcerer and vampiristic powers. Also dominant genetics where one lineage is far more prominent.

Runic magic would have to be explained further to me for me to make any statement. Harry Potter magic...I'm also not too familiar on that.
