IntroductionAlright, let’s take this from the top, one last time. Wait, I think I said that before.
I’m Purity, and I'm back from a much needed break on RPN! [REDACTED] When I’m not working on my classes, making money to fuel my sweet tooth and gaming addiction, or playing video games for that matter, I frequent this site looking for stories to write out. I’ve been around for a while now, and there’s a possibility that you, dear reader, have crossed paths with me at some point. And some of you, I'd love to RP with again, so let me know if you want to as well. This is still very much a WIP, but I'll try to finish this post up today! Today being the 8th.
UPDATE: Actually, today is now the 21st of December. Most of the plots below are mostly sci-fi/futuristic based for the moment, though there are some in between fantasy and sci-fi.
EXPECTATIONRight now, my main interests involve plots that have plenty of worldbuilding.
I’m looking for someone who’s around lazy lit to advanced lit. My average post length varies wildly, anywhere from 600 to 2000+ words depending on several different factors like how excited I am for a certain part of the story or how much time I have. For the most part, I’ll match my partner, but that means that we should be feeding each other enough details to work off of. So as a soft cap, I’m looking for someone who can comfortably average 600+ words. Like I said, that’s a soft cap. If you’re short on time one day, you died, or you have some other reason to write less, that’s totally fine.
Communication is important in any relationship, and that’s why I’ll make sure to be as transparent as I can right from the get go. If I do ghost you, that’s not intentional. Either heaven and hell came together to ensure I can’t respond to the conversation, or I slept for an entire day. Just bump me after a couple days. If it becomes obvious that we’re not going to be good partners for one reason or another, I’ll let you know. If we do hit it off, and things are going great, I really enjoy OOC chatter and I’ll probably tell you how my day’s going and whether I can post that day. Speaking of OOC, I have Discord if you prefer talking there, and in fact I’m literally active on it 24/7 when not working.
I’d love for all courtesies above to be extended to me. Please tell me what’s on your mind. Tell me if you have things coming up and can’t post for a bit. Tell me if you’ve lost interest in the story, and we can talk about it and what we can change. Tell me if someone stepped on your toe on the subway. But if you really need to, you can ghost me. I won't be bothered by it. Mostly. And on that note, I will be making every effort to respect your wonderful ideas. I would love for my ideas to be appreciated as well, instead of being completely ignored or thought of as stupid.

PRESENTATIONYay, what this entire thread is actually about! The plots that I have below will most likely be what I’m craving at the moment, and I’ll attempt and fail to keep them updated regularly. No plot is set in stone. If you have inspirations for how to change a plot or add on to it, I’m all for listening. If you have a plot yourself that you want to try approaching me with, I’m all for listening. This is a collaborative process, not a GM/player relationship. In fact, I encourage it, since these are more of what my thoughts are about each genre and something that we can work together to build off of.
I’m open to both romantic and platonic relationships. If there’s romance involved, I’m most comfortable with MxF, but I'm open to trying FxF. I write male and female characters equally, but I also do multiple characters a lot!
I include at least a couple dark themes in all my stories, and it’s pretty easy for me to do since I have zero triggers. So please tell me of any triggers that you have, so I have some boundaries.
And with that, onto the plots! I probably forgot something! That’s okay! Also, more plots to come later today! That's 100% a lie.
<CURRENT SPOTLIGHT>
Deathless - sci-fi, futuristic, space odyssey, galaxy hopping, fantasy???
(To set the mood, here's Halo 4's main menu theme. XD)
This is a project of mine that I always come back to and change my vision of, mostly because it draws from a lot of influences. In this particular case, this is more of a setting or a universe to explore rather than a concrete story idea. I know this is going to be a rather brief overview, but trust that I have a lot more sketched out that I want to share and willing to work with/change. I actually have a whole outdated Google doc on this idea, but we can get to that later.
The Deathless are, as the name suggests, beings that verge on immortality by having the trait of essentially respawning or reforming after death. Additionally, they have other abilities that are borderline fantastical in nature, abilities that led them to essentially conquer the known quadrant of the galaxy. That was several millennia ago, however, and now the galaxy is fragmented into pieces with warring factions on a galactic scale trying to hold dominion or exact peace on its people. The Deathless race fell with their empire. Mostly. As few as their numbers were to begin with, it's difficult to get rid of a being that can't die.
Our story could cover anything, from the survivors of this fabled race to human marines of one of these factions trying to make a difference. Our characters could be scavengers, exploring ancient ruins across entire solar systems, or ace pilots caught up in a war way out of their control. The galaxy is a large place, seeing the rise and fall of several empires throughout its lifespan. The mysteries it contains, all the knowledge lost and found or waiting to be recovered, it has an infinite number of stories to tell and an infinite number furthermore. And along the way, there'd be AIs, hardlight swords, guns, metaphysics, quantum physics, planetary devastation, and more!

ADAPTATIONMy fandoms are far and few in-between. Currently, I'm not exactly looking for a fandom, but if one happens to catch both yours and my fancy, know that I typically only do OC x OC, often in an AU. With that in mind, here you go!

This is extremely tentative, because again I don't want to use canon. I just really like the system and development of story behind Genshin. I'm also AR56 and no-life the game, so... yeah.

Bit of a stretch, I thought I'd throw this in here because New War got me really hyped lol. But again, probably change things slightly for an AU.

CYBERFALL - cyber, cyberpunk, cybernetics, wtf does cyber even mean

Welcome to capitalism at its finest. The world is run by megacorporations, cities stretch as far as the eye can see, and the streets are ruled by the law of whoever has the most dough. Sure, it's not all bad. Medical technology has come a long, long way, the polls for happiness are suspiciously high, and everyone has pretty much whatever they ask for. Except that only applies to the rich, the polls for happiness are suspiciously high, and that only applies to the rich, so... never mind.
That being said, there's plenty of opportunities underneath the surface in the lower levels of the city, and that's where we could have our characters come in. Mercenaries, hackers, maybe even an AI or two, it could be a story as grand as taking down one of these commerce empires or two, or it could be as simple as a comfy cyberpunk bar. Think Cyberpunk 2077, because I mean the game is literally like someone ran the genre through a hydraulic press. It's hard not to relate to it. -
REFLECTIONS - modern, sci-fi, multiverse, superheroes

In a world slightly more advanced than our own, heroes with superpowers do exist. Except they don't exactly wear capes, and they aren't exactly the paragon of virtues and moral aptitude either. They're like you and me, in some cases younger, in some cases older, and in some cases outright villains, but most become disillusioned with the world. Or in this specific case, multiple worlds.
I've done this as an RP before, but never really got to expand on the multiverse part of the story. Basically, one of the main characters in that story had an ability that let them manipulate particles on a quantum level, and that let them teleport, go invisible, and eventually the plan was to be able to displace themselves between realities. We can play a variation on that, maybe our characters are alternate reality versions of the same one, or maybe they both have the power to traverse realities through different means. I'm down for a lot of things here as well, so just hook me up! -
AFTER LIFE - sci-fi, ai, post-apocalyptic, slice of life?

Pretty much, Skynet happened. The AI in question for this world, however, successfully managed to wipe out nearly all of humanity down to what it considered appropriate levels before the unthinkable happened. It gained emotions, and even worse, morals. It had been studying human history and culture in an effort to understand its enemy better, but in doing so was corrupted by all of humanity's flaws. So in repentance for its actions, it chooses to restore a war-torn world, unfreeze some embryos, and dedicate itself to nurturing the very thing it sought to destroy until it would one day malfunction and shut down.
This story can be a romance, but I imagined it as a more platonic day-to-day story of this AI and a child, one who lives carefree in a green world designed for them but is also very intelligent, intelligent enough to slowly begin piecing the past together. The AI, in turn, would constantly struggle to decide whether it was the right time to tell the child of what happened or not. Bit of an older sibling/parental bond going on here, something nice and comfy again.
