The revolution has come and gone but everyone knows that history repeats itself as humans are creatures of habit and refuse to learn from their past. After Katniss had tried to change everything the world remained the same. Now it is the most special Hunger Games yet. The 100th Hunger Games. This is going to most dangerous games yet and will be a special reward for the victor/victors (Depending on how I feel and how you all play your cards). As from before, only two children ranging from 12 to 18 are made to participate from each district. Because of the wars and revolutions the districts have changed. The closer to the capital the wealthier of course but there is a mild respect between districts for their sacrifices but you know how people are. Now the capital is not a residential city now, it is strictly for the hunger games and only maintained from the select few from the districts, and only if they do not have children. Only the tributes are permitted within the city limits of the capital as the entire city is made to surround the games. There are now only 5 districts, not including the capital.


In these games two children from each district have been selected to fight and die in the games. The victor or victors are given everything their hearts could desire, even going so far as to move their immediate families to any district they desire. There are two tributes selected from each district and volunteers are taken above the lottery pulled names and treated better. It is up to you weather or not you are a volunteer or sacrifice, excited about the games or lament them, favored or looked against.

BIO: Serenity was born to a loving mother and an abusive father. She was raised to sing and dance for money and entertainment. Her father was very possessive and abusive. He pushed her o dance but kept a very close eye on her during and after her performances and never let get within ten feet of any boy. He did the same for her mother. So much that he would beat them both if they so much as touched or conversed with a male of any age, even a little boy. He would use all kinds of tools to discipline them both when he was mad. When he drank it was worse. Eventually, Serenity's mother couldn't take it anymore and she ended her life. Leaving Serenity alone with the abuse for years to come. When the selection came she willingly put her name in but she wasn't called. The next year her name still wasn't called but instead of being quiet and going back to her father she spoke up clearly and volunteered. She volunteered for a girl a year younger than her and couldn't even throw a punch or had been on the receiving end of one. So she volunteered and saved the girl, at least this year.

BIO: Jade was born to a fairly normal family. She wasn't pushed too much but there was a lot that was expected of her. Because of her family's business she was given tattoos at a very young age and marked as dangerous especially after she came into her true self. She found an affinity for plants and poisonous things. She loved to concoct things that had funny effects on people and would play pranks on people by making their tongues change colors or parts of them would go numb or make them see things that weren't there. Her family runs a restaurant so she was able to hide most of her poisons by claiming they were spices or something. Her parents never got suspicious until one day one of her uncles died after eating something she made. He lay at her feet turning blue as he could not breathe. She stared down at him with a cold and disgusted look in her amber eyes. She had killed him on purpose via poison. She looked at her parents and told them plainly that she killed him and was not sorry about it at all. That he deserved to die and she would do it again if she had to. She became known as the viper of her small corner of the district. During the reaping's she didn't fear or care. Either she would be called or not. It didn't matter to her either way. She knew she had a high chance of survival either way. She was a natural born killer and she would use those skills to survive when she needed to. Her Asian appearance makes her look and seem delicate and defenseless, but that was only her pretty mask. She is soft when she wants to be and hard when she needs to be but she has absolutely no friends because they are afraid of her and what she can do.

Okay, not too bad. The bending fire to her will thing, that falls out of the realm of possibility since it seems more magic than realistic unless it's some kind of tech or fabric that makes it possible.

I'm going to have to be strict when it comes to districts. I'm sorry but could you have your character come from district 2. That is the only one available.

I'm sure there is some sort of tech that could have been placed within her or that she uses, and I can make her fight for district 2, sure. Though, she will be from district 7. Is this fine? Or still out of realm of possibilites? And I had written that she is capable of bending fire to her will because I had seen some OC's in other AU's where a person had gills behind their ears that allowed them to breathe underwater, and having never seen The Hunger Games (but knowing the premisis) I just need a little guidance is all.

I am trying to keep the rp as realistic as possible. After all, it is supposed to be the earth of the future, right? There is a reason there are only 5 districts now. After Kadnis had changed the world people longed for simplicity and went back to the games shortly after her death. They limited it to only 5 basic districts and that was a very long long time ago so it is a bit outside of possibility. Since there hadn't been a district 7 for over 20 years. I can grant you like, a special fabric, like what Kadnis had worn to the hunger games, that prevents her from being burned, but as far as being able to control or manipulate fire, no. I won't be allowing gills or any such thing in this rp either.

District 1 - warriors/fighter (military based)
District 2 - clothing/fabric (uniforms and protection)
District 3 - power/electricity (everything that runs gets it power from district 3 since it is in the middle of all five districts)
District 4 - fruits/vegetables (farmlands and mineral rich soil is most prominent here)
District 5 - meats and metals (the outskirts provide the most wildlife and are most prosperous for farm animals and because they use the animals for more than just food they also do iron work to keep their hoofed friends shoed.
