Sometimes status updates just aren't sufficient enough to handle certain announcements, so that explains dragging you all off to a random thread in OOCville. I'll try to keep this as short as possible.
You are all saints for your patience with me and I can't thank you enough. Seriously. This past year has been uncharacteristically insane for me, and unfortunately, my online stories are the first to suffer the blow when life goes awry. I feel like there are so few people in the RP community that understand this isn't a super duper priority, but a hobby, a release -- safe to say I feel blessed for having met a collection of awesome people.
That being said, I am afraid the chaos isn't over for me. Not only will I be traveling for a few weeks in October, but the holiday season is the hardest for us at work and I will be losing my mind -- again and again. I hate to ask more of people that have already been forced to put up with so many of my shenanigans, but I just wanted all of you to know that I really do appreciate your patience. I appreciate the chatter, the distraction...just everything, really.
Know that I will always be up-front when it comes to my stories. If I go silent for a long period, feel free to poke me. I will never drop topics without warning, so chances are I'm just being swallowed up by the real world. Drag me out of it, please: even if all you want to do is say hello.
Thank you so much, darlings. My posts will continue to be pretty sporadic for a while, but I'm still here. Promise.
