Roleplay Type(s)
Okay, so let me start by saying that this roleplay was not my original idea, I got the creative credit from a friend of mine from a different RPG.

This is a detailed roleplay, in which the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardly has been reduced to rubble from the battle in 1998. The headmaster moved the school down the road leaving the cliff side a mess of the old Hogwarts school. Now Dementors have claimed that part of the land and students are sneaking in for a peak.

Please read the overview for the plot and the rules. And before you even think about making a character, PLEASE READ THE RULES.

Also, if you cannot post three or more paragraphs every single time then I am sorry but your destination ends here. Thanks for inquiring anyway. There will be a post format and I expect everyone to follow it every single time, as well. You either follow it or else.

I promise you that I am not as strict as I may seem, I have simple orders that I expect every writer to abide by. Do it, we'll get along just fine. Don't do it, you might be kicked from my roleplay.

A Few Days Earlier

"Come on. Don't be scared, Alyssa." A female voice sang out as a trio of girls rode their brooms to the old Hogwarts building, which was basically nothing but ash but also protected by Dementors. Alyssa looked at the two girls, who were teasing her as they landed on their feet and stared at the rubble before them. "So, let's see who can get the closest." A girl named Natalya cooed as she skipped closer to the rubble then turned to face her friends. "Whose next?" She giggled as Melinda shrugged her shoulders and walked a little bit past Natalya as they now eyed Alyssa. "This is stupid." Alyssa said as Natalya and Melinda looked at each other and laughed then taunted Alyssa. But they didn't know that Dementors were scaling behind them. Alyssa froze with fear as she stammered but raised her index finger then screamed as Dementors began sucking the lives out of Melinda and Natalya. Alyssa turned heel, only to fall on her face then had multiple Dementors tower her and began sucking the life out of her as well. It was really a gruesome sight to witness and their bodies have not been find till this very day.

Tate Cummings & Tatum Cummings

Feeling: Tate |A bit uneasy. Tatum | Slightly ecstatic, Interacting With: Each Other.

Tate's head was practically one with the window beside him as the train began to leave the station. His eyes then trailed over to his brother, who were just not coming into the compartment, where they were sitting, together. His brother sat across from him with a raised brow as he eyed him. "Tate, you've got to cheer up, man." Tatum said as he looked out the window, enjoying the views and scenery they past by as the train sped up a little bit. "It's not that easy." Tate commented while raising his head up a little bit, only to bang it back against the glass.

Tatum rolled his eyes and shook his head. "A girl's disappearance shouldn't have you down in the dumps, there will be plenty of witches at Hogwarts." He slightly chuckled as Tate looked at him with the smack of his lips then shook his head. "It's not just that. She was going to be my girlfriend." Tate replied. Tatum laid down in the seat then looked over at his brother, sighing a little bit. "But are you not at least happy that we're going back though. I mean, she may not be there but come on, dude, you cannot mope around this whole semester." Tatum huffed while placing his hands behind his head and stared up at the ceiling.

They both jumped up when the lady with a cart of delicious treats and goodies tapped on their window. Tate shook his head that did not want any, Tatum soon followed suit. The lady smiled and pressed the cart down the aisle as Tatum laughed then pointed at Tate. "You jumped so hard dude." Tate shook his head then rolled his eyes. "Whatever. You jumped too." Tate commented while looking and seeing Hogwarts in the distance. "Looks like we're here bro." Tate said.

Tatum looked out of the window then raised a brow. "That's not Hogwarts, idiot. That is most of the old school." He busted out laughing and was practically falling out of his seat. "We're close though." Tatum continued as he looked out of window with a smile.

Professor Nyx Nott

Feeling: slightly anxious and calm. Interacting with: NPC death eater, fellow teacher, and her cat Fang.

Nyx looked at the brooms on the ground, she knew what had happened, people had snuck onto the grounds. She was busy examining the brooms that she did not hear the approaching footsteps. A man in traditional death eater clothing approached her. "Dementors got the best of them, foolish students." She was dressed the same, including the gold and black mask. "You are right they were foolish, now they are dead." She responded to him, not evening trying to defend them. "If they had any brains at all they would have stayed away from a place crawling with dementors. But instead, they choose to come in." The man looked at the dementors floating around them. It defiantly caused a eerier feeling but, death eaters were heartless beings so they were not greatly affected "How have they stayed alive this long?" She frowned at the man. "Idiot, these dementors use this place as a breeding ground. We may be looking at the newest generation of them." She stopped when the sound of train whistle sounded in the distance. "Damn, they will be expecting me in the great hall." She looked at her clothes, it was obvious she had been walking around in the ruins. "I need to wash up before the others see me. I have gained their trust and, I have full intentions on keeping it that way." The man looked at her. "Indeed, you will ruin the entire mission if you draw suspicion." Nyx pointed her wand at him. "I'm not an idiot, I worry more about you ruining the mission then me." She heard the train whistle again. "Dispose of any evidence , then return to Hogsmeade. If I catch wind that you have been drinking at the Hog's Head I will personally hex you myself." The man bowed and took out his wand, in the blink of the eye the brooms caught fire.

Nyx walked to the edge of the forest to see where the train was. She stood the cliff as she watched as the express passed the ruins. She would have been visible to anyone looking for only second. She quickly apperated to her room. Before she could breathe she ripped off her mask, shoving it in a special trunk that contained hidden compartments. She let out an exhausted breath as she looked around.
No one...good, that's how I like it. Her room was next to the classroom she would be teaching potions in this year. It looked very similar to the one Snape had used, dark, forbidding, and gloomy. She had requested it, saying that the dungeons were better for potions class, in reality she just like the feel of it. She jumped slightly when someone knocked on her door. Fang, who had been sleeping, hissed at the sudden loud noise. She approached the door. "Yes?" A woman answered back, it was a fellow teacher. "We are gathering in the main hall, how long will you be Ms. Nott?" Nyx made sure she was pressed against the door when she responded to the woman. "Just a bit longer. Sorry, I feel asleep and I am still getting ready." She lied of course about why she was delayed. "Well hurry, we like to have all the teachers in the hall before the students arrive." A relived look appeared on her face when the woman believed her lie. "Of course, I should not be longer then a few minutes." She heard the woman shuffle slightly. "Alright, see you in a bit." Nyx waited to move until she heard the woman leave. "Thank god she believed it." She walked over to her various trunks and took off her dirty robe, throwing it in one and taking a long sleeved maxi dress out of another. She slipped it on and walked over to her desk. She grabbed a roll of black fabric and wrapped it around the dark mark on her left arm. She always told others that she suffered a burn from a bad potion and it left a nasty burn that will not heal. She had offers from some to try to heal but, she said she had grown used to it. She quickly wrapped it and pointed her wand at it. With a flash of silver the fabric stuck to itself so, it would not unwind or come loose. She stood in front to finish getting ready when she realized there was letter on her desk that was not there before.

She picked it up and examined it. It was plain and nothing was written on the front. She opened it
and realized it was a letter from a fellow death eater.

'Nyx,

We are glad to tell you that the Riddle daughter has accepted the offer. She is currently a student so we expect you to not only watch over her. We also expect you to give her guidance and, answer any questions she might have.'

She sighed as she realized she just had additional responsibilities thrown at her. She tried to remember the Riddle girl. It dawned on her, she had meet her but, the girl was very young. She doubted the girl would remember her. She shoved the letter in drawer and continued getting ready. She pulled her hair back in a messy bun. She applied some basic make up before leaving for the great hall. Like usual fang trailed behind her as she made her way up from the depths of the dungeons. to the main floor. The castle was buzzing with activity as final preparations were made for the arrival of the students. She almost bumped into the caretaker who was taking the sorting hat to the great hall. This of course was not the original hat but, a new one. "Sorry." She stepped out of his way as he ran off. This castle is huge and you had to bump into me, idiot... She shook it off and hurried towards the hall. She was already late, she didn't want to be really late. She finally made it to the great hall only to hear another professor say how it could be another half-an hour to an hour before students arrived. She rolled her eyes as she slowly walked to the side of the staff table in front of the Slytherin table. She sat in her spot, Fang jumped up on the table and meowed at her. "Fang, I don't think they will appreciate you walking on the dinner table." Fang just looked at her. "Down now or, I will lock you in my office." Fang jumped down when she threatened him. She wished she would have known that, they gathered them so early. She rested her head on the table and decided to take a nap. She was sure someone would wake her before the students arrived, at least she hoped so.

Pandora Riddle

Feeling: neutral wasn't happy or mad. It was another year of school to her. Interacting with fellow death eaters and her cat.

Pandora sat on the train she had her feet up as she leaned on the window frame. Her friends were talking about god knows what. They didn't have the pressure that she did she was staring out the train window as it passed the old ruins. Her wrist started to burn slightly, Pandora rubbed her wrist, she sighed and sat up.

A woman with a sing songy voice started to walk closer. She stopped at there cart."Anything off the trolley dears?" She asked them. Pandora looked over as her friends got something. She got nothing, she wasn't hungry and the train didn't have much longer before it reached the station and they made there way to school. Pandora wondered what this new potions teacher be like. She was told this woman be looking after her this year. Pandora bit the inside of her cheek as she went back to watching outside the window.

Her friends kicked her to get her attention."Hello earth to Panda. Were discussing if the prefects this year will be any good." They said to her. She raised an eye brow."well considering I am one of them. I would say so. Though I have a feeling this year will be different. Something is happening something dark and we are at the hub of it." She said.

She looked at them as she pet her cat Zafarina. She put on a serious face." You may be new to all of this but you will keep your mouth shut up about what we do understood." She snapped. She was slightly frustrated with them. She stood and sighed."Time to change into the school robes." She said. Pandora went to change. In the bathroom she stood looking in the mirror.

Pandora was dressing as she did she looked at her wrist. The dark mark had been there since she was 3. She was told she had been chosen. She still wasn't sure for what. She would find out her purpose this year when she turned 18 though the underage wizards trace was off her. Pandora was wrapping her arm when a knock came on the door. She slipped out her wand and breathed."come on I have to use the restroom." A voice said. She rolled her eye's."Be done soon." She snapped. Pandora went back to wrapping her wrist and pulling her long sleeve down over the wrap. She put her wand in her robes and fixed her hair and make up.

Pandora walked out with her bag to her train car. She sat down again and picked up Zafarina." This is it girl last year, ready?" She asked. The cat meowed at her."yeah me too." She said and turned to look back out at the darkening sky. She had a small smirk that showed in her reflection. What ever happened this year would happen. She would be the one to do it.

~Imogen Pemberly Gladwyn~

Feeling: Slightly annoyed || Interacting with: Arabella (NPC)

Leaving Home
"Six suitcases?! Are you moving out of the house or something?" Imogen watched as Arabella paraded up and down the stairs of their parent's place bringing down what appeared to be her entire room. The delicate blonde girl moved with an immaculate grace that only a doe could achieve. Imogen, on the other hand, was plopped half way down on the couch with a bag of chips on her side waiting for the epitome of perfection to finish packing. "Just because we're going to a witch school doesn't mean we have to turn green and grow warts on our face." Arabella brought down her last two hand bags and raised an eyebrow at Imogen. "You know...you can at least pretend to act lady like." Imogen rolled her eyes and jumped on from the couch. "Please forgive me mademoiselle." Imogen bowed down towards Arabella mockingly.

London Train Station
The young blonde dressed in a loose white and sea green striped sweater and patched up skinny jeans rolled her luggage cart around the London train station. Behind her another perky blonde with a coral colored top and flower printed jeans struggled with two luggage carts filled to their max capacity. "Imogen! A little help here!" Imogen turned to look at her sister and began cracking up in laughter. "I told you not to pack too much, but did you listen? No. You never listen." Imogen turned back around shacking her head disapprovingly and continued on her way towards Platform 9 and 10. She wasn't interested in any of those two platforms though. She was interested in the wall connecting both platforms. It was the entrance to Platform 9 3/4. A platform invisible to most muggles.

Excitement began bubbling inside Imogen as nostalgia hit her. Memories of what lay behind that wall trickled into Imogen's head. The laughter, the adventures, the friendships, they all came rushing down on Imogen as she inched closer and closer to the wall. With just a few steps left to go she heard the unmistakable high pitched scream of the girl she was supposed to be looking after. Imogen turned back and found Arabella on the floor with both her luggage carts toppled over. How she managed to do that is still a mystery.

Platform 9 3/4
After finally managing to get Arabella on the train, Imogen glumly made her way through the hallway trying to find an empty place to seat. Her good spirits slightly fluctuating from the mess Arabella had caused. It was an every year thing. Arabella would over pack, fall or trip or something, and leave Imogen carrying about 80% of her stuff on to the train. Well Imogen think of the bright side, you're building muscle. That's always a good thing right? Imogen looked to her arm carrying an average size duffle bag with Imogen's robes and wand. With her free hand she poked her biceps. Yeah you definitely need more muscles.

Imogen finally stumbled into an empty little room on the train. She opened the glass door and made her way in. Arabella had left Imogen as soon as they crossed the wall. She rushed to meet up with her friends leaving Imogen behind with the three luggage carts Yeah don't worry about me. I can handle three carts of luggage. Imogen shook the thought of her sister out of her head and placed her duffle bag on the seat across from her. She scooted next to the window desperately awaiting for the train to start moving so she could admire the scenery she was so fond of.

Hogwart's Ruins

The green scenery was beginning to dull down. The bright blue sky turned into a mucky slate grey, the trees lost their bright green leaves and the crisp grassy fields transformed into dirt and ash. Imogen knew exactly were they were. The old Hogwarts. Imogen pressed both her hands on the cold window as she stared at the ruins in awe. She had longed for a chance to visit the ruins and collect some old rocks or, if she was lucky, any remains of the warriors. She was aware of the dementors surrounding the area, but that didn't worry her. Imogen was so close to perfecting her patronus spell she could already see the dementors flinching away from her. Imogen's eyes widened with anticipation and pressed herself on the window trying to get as close as possible to the ruins. Soon she'll find a way to stumble upon the forbidden grounds. All she had to do was wait.

|William Wolfe Whickham|

Feeling: Enthused and energetic || Interacting with: Waldo (His Cat), Gilbert (His body guard), and Hufflepuff boys (NPC)

Running late
A fat lump of fur hung from the arms of a tall lanky boy. "Waldo...I swear...you and I...are going on a diet...once we get to school." William was racing down the streets of London. His pulse racing and lungs aching for air. He looked behind him as a board muscular man in a black suit and tie jogged behind him without a break of sweat. "Go on without me Gilbert." William said as he stopped to catch his breath and get a better grip of Waldo who was sliding down his arms. Gilbert was William's personal body guard. Although he was highly against a man following him around, William's mother insisted on William being with Gilbert at all possible moments. She didn't want to risk an encounter with her ex-husband and having things end up messy.

Expressionless as always Gilbert stopped behind the kid dressed in vibrant colors. They exchanged a brief glance before Gilbert stood in front of William and launched him over his shoulder. William let out a muffled yelled surprised by the sudden contact between Gilbert and him. Juggling the fat cat in his arms, William squeezed his arms together to keep Waldo from falling. To this Waldo replied with a lazy and low pitched meow. Without a moment for William to protest his release, Gilbert began running down the street towards the London Train station with William and Waldo over his shoulder.

All aboard
"Alright Gilbert, you know the drill. Mom can't sped too much time watching tv. No salt because she had high blood pressure, and absolutely no calling William Walfred (His dad). Understood?" Gilbert nodded as William gave him instructions on how to take care of his mother. The truth was that as soon as William left for Hogwarts Gilbert was off duty and left back to his home town although William didn't know this. He thought Gilbert stayed with the family while he was at Hogwarts.

As William waved away Gilbert he caught the glimpse of the terrible duo, Wren and Wendolyn. The twins glided through the station with a sense of dominance. All who were in their way either stepped to the side or were pushed away by Wren. A chill ran down William's spine remembering the feeling of being tossed around by his siblings. Fixing the sleeves of his light blue blazer William broke his gaze from the twins and stepped into the train, glad that both Wren and Wendolyn didn't talk to him anymore. Sure being ignored wasn't a nice feeling, but it was better than being bullied.

Arriving
William had managed to find a room with a couple of his house acquaintances. William joined their conversation about the latest quidditch tournaments and how they placed their money on their house this season. "Fitzgerald is leading the team this year and he says they're the best Hufflepuff has ever had." Another boy laughed, "Just because they're the best we've have doesn't mean they are the best, but we at least have a chance for the cup this year." The William nodded in approval, "Well now that your brother is off the team we definitely have a chance." The both boys laughed in harmony waking up Waldo who just jumped out of William's lap and wobbled away. The first boy spoke, " Whoops I think we disturbed the prince... William's glance followed Waldo as he looked for a quieter room to sleep in. " Aww come on Waldo, don't be such a grouch."

The change in the outside scenery brought an end to the boys' conversation. A dead silence filled the small room as the three boys took in the scene of the Hogwarts's Ruins. A chilly air made the three boys gulp in fear. The second boy spoke up with a soft and shaky voice,"They say three girls disappeared a few days ago. They were last seen sneaking out to the Ruins." The first boy's eyes widened. "My pops says they're probably dead by now. No one enters the Ruins and survives. The second boy smacked the first in the head. "Yes they do...not everyone, but I've heard several people have been seen loitering around the ruins at night." The two boys argued about the Ruins while William just stared out the window silently. It was astonishing how much damage one person had caused. A person who his family might have been involved with. It was crazy to think that his family had something to do with this, but given his recent encounters with his father and his side of the family, he wasn't so surprised.

William leaned back in his seat tearing away his gaze from the window. "I don't see why they just clean that place up. If so many bad things are happening there, why not just get rid of it completely." William let out a sigh and stood up. "I'm going to go find Waldo and change. I'll see you guys in the main hall.

Marseline

Feeling: Neutral, though she is leaning a bit towards being rather optimistic. Interacting with her familiar, Leo, and Ravenclaw students. (NPCs)

Aboard the Train

Marseline had never been one for farewells, regardless of the duration of time that would be spent apart from her family. Saying goodbye always put her into a bit of an off mood.
Now dear, make sure that you study hard this year. You’re so close to finishing your schooling, don’t allow yourself to slack off. Her mother’s words rang in her mind as she raced through all of the more exciting memories that she had of the school. To think that she was close to leaving seemed strange to her, as if she had only recently began her schooling and there were still many more years to go. A sharp whistle snapped her from her train of thoughts, and in a frantic scramble to get onto the train, Marseline managed to snatch up one of the last compartments on the train that wasn't full. There was another girl in there, though she didn't say anything as she entered, it seemed that she was caught up in the middle of some fantasy type book if the cover meant anything.

Setting her things down, she glanced to the cage that Leo sat in. Poking her hands through the wire, the bird let out a soft croak, and took one of he girl's fingers in his mouth. A smile played on Marseline’s lips, and she gently held onto the birds beak, rubbing the underside of his neck in a gentle and soothing manner. He had never been too fond of riding the train, and so she preferred to keep him with her as often as possible to try and keep him calm whilst traveling to and from the school. A glance to the girl sitting across from her made it obvious that there would be very little conversation, if there was any at all on the ride to school with how she had practically created a barrier between the two of them with her bags. “It’s going to be a long ride, so get comfortable.” Marseline whispered to Leo.

The school

Leo had managed to do well on the ride, and Marseline was in a decent mood as she had made her way to the Ravenclaw common rooms. She found a room that she could share with a friend and some other girls whom seemed nice enough. The introductions had been short lived as they all began scrambling to put their things into order. Of course it was really a race to get to the bathroom, seeing as many
didn't usually bring mirrors with them as they were afraid that they would shatter in their bags. Laughter could be heard drifting down the hallway from the room as they shouldered past each other, pushing to get into the bathroom. Eventually everyone had calmed down, and found a way to squeeze everyone in front of the mirror so that they could get ready. Marseline touched up her makeup, and braided her hair into a side fishtail braid.

Once everyone was ready to go, the small handful of girls headed off to the great hall. Not too much went on as they walked to the hall, the conversation was mainly between two of the girls. Their banter careened between childish knock-knock jokes, to some jokes that might be considered more mature material to others. Marseline stayed quiet the entirety of the walk, and remained silent when they sat down at the table. The girl
wasn't trying to seem emotionless or distant, but she was having a hard time connecting with the rest of the girls. Marseline understood well enough that remaining silent would not help her to get any closer to them, but at the time she really didn't feel like speaking. For now she would watch and be a mere onlooker until things picked up a bit.
