Bug 10+ Post Count Troubles

i wasn't sure where i should post this, or whether it's an actual problem (i'm pretty sure it is?) but i have more than ten posts, and have had more than ten posts for almost a whole day - i was even pretty sure i had more than ten before the update (i could send pms at least, not sure if that was a bug tho) - but i still am unable to post on my profile, send private messages, etc now.

You currently only have 9 messages. Some of the counting in IPS was way off, so the amount may have changed. Fable 's content count decreased by half while mine jumped up by 2,000. You only have one post to go. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It can take a bit (usually not more than an hour) for the system to recount and unlock PMs for you. If you're still having trouble after that, please make a post in Admin Contact and we'll see about fixing it for you.

Apologies for the bump, but I'm having this problem too. I have fifteen posts but it's still giving me the 10+ post count notification and won't let me make new PMs or make profile posts. I post a message/post and it turns over to ten, but then it goes back down to nine and gives me the notification again.

I think it might have been changed to 25 posts now.

It's still only 10 posts, it has not increased.

According to your profile, you only have 10 messages, you need to look at the stats on your profile rather than counting what you have posted as some things count towards your message count and other things do not.

You should now be able to send PMs and such. If you are unable to, you'll need to send a support thread to the admins as already mentioned by Kaerri.

Back on IPS certain forums (general, personal, private workshop) didn't count towards post counts. I'm not sure what the settings are for those forums, but there is a chance that could be a factor.

Also, it can take a little bit for the database to count everything properly and update your account.
