rotten apple

New Member
Hello there! Please don't mind the new-ish account. Name's Apple,
have been roleplaying ever since I was a teenager (oh, how fast time
went by), and am now in my late twenties. I'm happily married ♥️
and have a full time job :bishiesparklesr:, and while I don't have as much time
as I used to, I'm craving to write some awesome characters, plot
twists and adventures!

About me
- Real life can get quite hectic, but I will try my best to reply every
1-2 days; worse comes to worst, I will reply in the weekend.
- I don't mind keeping in touch daily OOC if you'd like to exchange
ideas and/or funny stuff. Do keep in mind that if I don't reply quickly
even OOC during the week, I might be busy IRL. Will get back to you
in the weekend tho, don't fret!
- Can dish out as many paragraphs as you do, but I do admit I prefer
2-4 medium-sized paragraphs instead of a novel lately; not too keen
on home assignments.
- I like writing both female and male characters; word of caution, my
male characters are usually grumpy, serious, or a little bit unhinged.
Sometimes all of them at the same time.
- On the same note, I'm not into doubling. Writing side characters
however, I love it to the max. Creating worlds, expanding on the lore,
brainstorming for interesting plot twists is a yes!
- No real people photos for characters, please. I prefer semi-realistic
or anime-ish illustrations, or just plain ol' describing the character.
What I'm looking for
- Someone who does care about their posts at least enough to use
the spell check. Grammar and punctuation is a must. Not gonna'
go into rage mode about a missing comma, or a misspelled word
now and then either, obviously!
- Someone who likes brainstorming
- Someone who can write at least 2 decent sized paragraphs per
post on average
Favourite dynamics, subjects & themes
[ fantasy ] [ sci-fi ] [ post-apocalyptic ] [ D&D inspired ] [ adventures ]
[ slow-burn romance ] [ enemies to lovers ] [ opposites attract ]
[ mortal x immortal ] [ mafia ] [ forbidden romance ] [ reincarnation]
Games, TV series and movies
I write only OCs, but you're more than welcome to write either. I'm
up for AUs, or stories in the same setting as the following.
[ Baldur's Gate 3 ] [ Genshin Impact ] [ Skyrim ] [ Inuyasha ] [ Kamisama
Hajimemashita ] [ Soul Eater ] [ Avatar: TLA / LOK ]
Plots and pairings
I have linked some images that served as inspiration for the plot, and images for
the characters I'd like to write. If an image is added for both characters, I'm willing
to write either of them, but you're free to provide another picture for your character
if it's not to your liking.
If nothing here appeals to you, feel free to hit me up with another idea!
My OC(s): [1], [2]
Setting: Modern or Sci-fi
Themes: Supernatural // magical powers or abilities // sci-fi gadgets
Our veteran sidekick is on the verge of quitting, sick of the villain's endless failures
and their tendency to take their frustration out even on their loyal lackeys. The new
sidekick, ever so optimist and eager to be helpful grates on the nerves of the
veteran sidekick, but when the villain's latest plan goes wrong, the two are forced
to rely on each other to survive. With two opposite personalities, and with very
different ideals, will they manage to escape the situation?
Setting: Modern or Sci-fi
Themes: Supernatural // magical powers or abilities // sci-fi gadgets
In the modern world, heroes and villains are the latest news on every social
media. But nobody knows who they really are behind their transformed
appearances. The villain of our story is part of a group, just as the heroine.
They both work for factions, albeit, opposing ones. They meet during her
first fight as a newbie heroine and he can't help but be amused by her
ridiculous fighting style. They meet twice, and thrice, and so on, and by the
time he realizes it he has somehow gotten into the habit of avoiding hurting
her and at times pretending to mock her instead of delivering the final blow.
The heroine however, is no fool though, but while she does notices these
things she hides this fact from her own teammates as well.
To top it off, they meet as civilians in the same work setting, and while the
heroine doesn't pick up on it, the villain has noticed the similarities with a
certain someone that has hindered his night work lately. What happens
and what is he to do when all the proof who she really is, is right in front of
him? And what happens when the heroine's feelings for her enemy makes
her faction turn against her?
Have more ideas for this one, but would love to brainstorm on it.
Setting: Feudal Japan or alternate universe that draws inspiration
from it.
Themes: Unhinged male main character, drama, mature themes
There are rumours going around that the army general often visits the
red district, and that is exactly why when someone is out to get his neck
and take his place, they send an assassin to act as a worker there and
get rid of him for once and for all. What the pitiful woman doesn't know
is that the general isn't at the top of the chain for nothing, and she's
about to find out why he's so hard to kill, and why everyone fears him.
Setting: Modern
Themes: Supernatural (optional), will-they-or-won't-they, action
FL and ML have been together as a couple before a certain heated fight
over their goals, ML being a workaholic, FL wanting to settle down all of
a sudden. Fast forward a few years later and ML is surprised to come
face to face during one of his missions with FL, both at the end of a pointed
gun. When they end up being enemies, and ML finds out the real reason
she has wanted to settle down so early as well as why she's doing this,
he might have a delicate decision to take.
The images provided are ideas for characters, each of them with a
different personality.
[Female ex-knight x Dragon shapeshifter]
Setting: Medieval fantasy
Themes: Magic, dragons, shapeshifters
We all know the story of the princess hidden in a tower protected by a
dragon, but in the depths of the Death's Door forest, there is a prince
instead of the usual damsel in distress, and a dragon shapeshifter that
keeps him company and drives away all the knights sent by neighbouring
kingdoms royalty to save him for a chance of securing allegiances. FL is
an ex-knight turned mercenary who wants nothing more in life than money
to live a lavish lifestyle. And to the dragon's dismay, she's pretty much as
strong as an army and fearless to the point where one might think she is
a little deranged. To top it off, she's not there for the prince, but for him
as she needs someone to carry her stuff around (and boy does she have
stuff to carry) and a faster traveling method that doesn't get killed easily
while she's battling all sort of creatures and enemies. What is a defeated
dragon shapeshifter to do when faced with such a lunatic?
[Bounty hunter x Witch undercover]
My OC(s): [Witch V1], [Witch V2]
Setting: Medieval fantasy
Themes: Magic, witches, supernatural creatures and demons, hidden
identity
Away from the village, a small hut hides a woman that seems to keep her
distance from the society, only occasionally coming out of there to pick
herbs and tend to her garden. When stumbling into her for the first time
he is surprised by her solitary life and is somewhat smitten with her. What
he doesn't know about her is that she's a witch in hiding, and what she
does know is that he's a bounty hunter, one of the people who is
usually paid to catch her to be burned at the stake. A comical situation
ensues when he shows up at her doorstep one day and admits that he
can't get her out of his mind and wishes to marry her. The witch is taken
aback but ponders over this is a blessing in disguise or a possible disaster.
In the end she accepts, as she admittedly finds him her type, and also
makes for a better cover as she gets a little bit closer to society. But how
long can she keep the act, without her magic mishaps giving her away to
him? And what will he do when he starts suspecting something is fishy
about his wife's behaviour?
