a liminal space could be described as a place that is not for the time it's currently in, for example; an empty highway, or an empty school. surprise, that's where this story takes place.
let's set the scene, winter break, senior year. a group of 8 students have awoke in their classroom, with no knowledge of how they got there. but they do know that someone is after them, it's clear by the velvet letter lying in the room, entailing their fate.
