After the fall of Dracula, all seemed calm and that Wallachia would be on the road to rebuild itself. However, our heroes still have personal journeys of their own to explore...

Trevor
It had been almost a year since he started this journey. Crazy to think he used to spend his days wandering throughout Wallachia, merely existing for his next meal and cup of ale. Now he spent his days traveling around, seeing the world and protecting others. One such person, he vowed to protect sat right beside him, Sienna. He had met the Werewolf at the same time he met his other companions, Sypha, Alucard and Mimi. He thought of Sypha and Mimi as the sisters he wished he had growing up and Alucard… he was a whole other story, but he did consider Alucard that one brother you always got into scruffs with, not that he would ever admit it. Sienna on the other hand… if you had ever asked how the Belmont felt about her, he’d probably turn slightly redder and begin to mumble under his breath in embarrassment.

The two were now traveling by wagon, and while they thought that after defeating Dracula, there were still some loose ends to tie. It seemed like one of Dracula’s former generals decided to take things into their own hands. That general’s name was Carmilla, and she intended to pick up where he left off, and while Dracula’s war was done in the name of love, Carmilla simply wanted power. Not to mention there were other vampires who wanted to take up power now that the legendary Dracula was gone.

“Sienna, if you continue sleep anymore, I’m going to start believing that you actually a werebear and you are hibernating for the winter.” Trevor teased in his usual deadpanned voice as he began to gently shake her awake. “...wake up Sienna, we’re almost to the next town.” As much as he teased her, Trevor couldn’t really blame her for falling asleep so easily and for so long. These trips to other towns often took a bit, even by wagon, not to mention that it was getting to the middle of winter. The cold probably was making it hard for her to stay awake.

Mimi

Mimi looked outside at the slowly falling snow and let out a soft small sneeze. Was already that time of year? The Alchemist really hoped that she wasn’t coming down with anything. Now that she thought about it, her birthday was in about a week or two… well, it wasn’t exactly her birthday. Mimi was adopted by a speaker, Minerva Lockhart, when she was left on the steps of an Inn that the group was staying at. The day that she was left on the steps and was found by the speakers was the day she considered her birthday… as Mirelle was left with no name or any information. She was just in a basket wrapped in blankets.

Speaking of blankets, the small alchemist began to wrap herself in a pile of some that were nearby. There, nice and cozy! “Hmm… I wonder what Alucard’s been up to… he’s been awfully quiet these days… well more quiet than usual…” Mimi thought to herself. She had her suspicions that the dhampir was planning something for her birthday as she once saw him bring ingredients for what seemed to be for cake, among wrapping paper, streamers and other miscellaneous celebration things.

Thinking back, around this time last year was around when they first met, not to mention when the two were caught in a blizzard together and separated from the rest of their friends. Now the two lived in the castle that belonged to Alucard’s father, Dracula. They two actually got along very well, and despite not realizing it yet, Mimi was beginning to develop romantic feelings for the dhampir. Speaking of which, it was then that Mimi began to get up to from her seat on the sofa she was on, still wrapped in many blankets for warmth. It was obvious that the castle was enormous, but Alucard always seemed to be able to find her, perhaps because of his heightened senses from his vampire heritage.

“Adrian… Adrian, where are you?” Mirelle began to call out with a pout. “You’ve been a bit scarce as of late… I’m a bit lonely and could use a hug.” She called out once more, mumbling the latter softly in a rather flirty tone. She doubts he would actually hug her, but she did like to tease him from time to time.

Alucard
Alucard had birthdays before, none of which were very extravagant. When the anniversary for Mirelle's birth was coming close he sent letters to Sypha, Trevor, and Sienna, all asking for their help. Though no one could come unfortunately, due to Sypha helping the survivors from Dracula's war, and Sienna and Trevor hunting for traitorous Carmilla. Sypha sent him a letter with a recipe detailing a cake her grandfather used to make, Sienna told him to decorate, so that he did. Elegant ribbons hung from the ceilings in, the chandelier was dimly lit, and the fireplace was roaring. The dining table was set parallel to the fire, and set with a lovely candlelit meal. The cake was for desert, he spent hours preparing it until it was perfect. Just as he was about to search for her, Mirelle called out for him from across the castle.
'You've been a bit scarce of late,' he heard her call. Had he really been that illusive? He never meant to avoid her, though he was trying to keep the dinner a surprise. Not just for her birthday, but for his confession. Over a year now they had known each other, and over that year Alucard had come to care for Mirelle dearly, some would even call it love. He adjusted his coat, and made his way across the castle.
The dhampir found the woman with a cape of blankets trailing behind her, he smiled gently "You should really stay closer to the fire." he suggested "I won't have you getting ill." he added. Remembering she had asked for a hug earlier he did just that, pulling her into a warm embrace. She never let him get away without a hug, Sienna urged her to teach him how to before they left. Now it was more of a guilty pleasure"Sorry for avoiding you, I have a surprise in store." he said with a smirk. He took her hand and places a chaste kiss on her knuckles "Dinner is ready, won't you join me?" he questioned.
Sienna
Sienna awoke to Trevor's gentle coaxing. She groaned and opened her eyes, noticing they were still on the road, but in the distance she could see lights. With a sigh she pulled the cloak Trevor used to wear around her shoulders, nuzzling her face into the white fur, and then spitting some out when it got into her mouth "When was the last time you washed this thing?" she asked "Never mind I don't want to know the answer to that." she said as she tossed it into the back and rubbed her hands together for warmth "I'm starving." she said as she climbed back to the front of the wagon, and took her seat beside Trevor. They had been traveling together for awhile now, she had grown attached to him, he was quite funny, and charming in his own little way.
Right now she wanted a cup of ale and some warm food in her belly, and perhaps a good nights sleep on an actual bed. Being a skilled hunter, she often went and caught animals to sell their meat and hide, that was how they were making their fortune, as well as living off of the money Alucard had lent them before they left, and some coin Trevor found in his old estate. She let out a sigh, and watched as her breath appeared like smoke in the cold "I believe it's Mimi's birthday, I hope she and Alucard are doing well." she said with a smile "Do you think they've fucked yet? God what would that be like with a vampire?" she pondered to herself before letting out a laugh. The more comfortable she was around someone the more raunchy she became, and was quite the pervert, even at very inappropriate times.
Trevor was one of the few people she was comfortable around, and she had grown to like him over the past year. Perhaps more than a friend, but she was not yet sure how he felt about her. They soon arrived in the village, it was a small, and muddy place, with a tiny tavern. It was cute, but something felt off. She gained lots of stares from the people around her, who seemed very interested in her.

Trevor
When Sienna poised the question of when his coat was last washed, Trevor opened his mouth to answer and promptly shut it with a grumpy glare when she retracted her statement. “Ugh, look it’s better than freezing your tail off right? Besides… I really like that coat…” The hunter sighed, mumbling the later part of his statement under his breath with a small grin. He really liked the witty banter he had back and forth with Sienna, although he would never admit it.

“Jesus, just when I think that I got rid of all the sassy women in my life, I still had what I didn’t know to be the sassiest of the three.” He sighed once more. Sypha and Mimi were already a handful as the two were practically raised together as sisters, not to mention they were huge bookworms. Sienna, however, was sassy in the total opposite way, as she had a layer of mischievousness on top of her wit and sass.

“Mimi’s birthday… we should send something for the pipsqueak then.” Trevor said sarcastically with a hint of fondness. The alchemist was a mere 4’10” but she was a brilliant scientist. Had it already been that long since they left Mimi at the Belmont estate and the castle with Alucard? He began to grab a waterskin and drink some water. It was practically frozen, but it was better than being thirsty.

"Do you think they've fucked yet? God, what would that be like with a vampire?"

Trevor nearly choked on the water he was drinking as he began to smack his chest so the water wouldn’t go down the wrong windpipe and roared with laughter. “Forget the fact that he’s a vampire, she’s so tiny and he practically towers over her. I feel like if they tried to he would break her in half!” He laughed some more. “Honestly, knowing Mimi, He’s probably been trying to make moves on her and bed her, but she’s so fucking oblivious…” Trevor snorted in laughter. Sienna had a tendency to blurt out what she was thinking, and on one hand, he could always trust her to be honest and open, but on the other, sometimes she would spurt out random thoughts like that.

It was then that the two began to make their way into town. The hunter noticed the glances that Sienna was getting, and reached for her hand to hold and pulled her a bit closer. Maybe it was the fact that for a long period of his life, he had hidden because of his heritage as a Belmont, but you could never be too careful. Then Trevor heard the faint sound of a grumbling stomach and looked toward the direction which it came from, none other than Sienna. “For fuck’s sake, I thought that was a banshee coming to attack us, we really need to get you some food as soon as possible.” He teased.

Mimi

"A-achoo! Achoo!" Mimi sneeze cutely with a sniffle. "That's odd, I don't feel sick... I guess I should be closer to the fire. Or maybe it's like that saying, ‘When you sneeze, someone you know must be talking about you’!" Mimi looked up at Alucard with a slight giggle. It was then that Mimi was taken by surprise by a tight embrace from Alucard, as her face began to blush a bright red. “O-oh um… I didn’t think you actually h-heard that part....” She stuttered in embarrassment. The alchemist was honestly just teasing him, but even though she was a flustered mess, she wasn’t going to complain. “Oh no, it’s okay. I figured you were busy repairing something in the castle.” Mimi nodded and then tilted her head in curiosity. “A surprise….?”

Just when she thought she couldn’t get any more red, Alucard gently took her hand and kissed it softly and Mimi was once more a stumbling blushing mess. She often took such gestures as teasing, as Mirelle didn’t really think that there was a chance that Alucard could feel anything for her romantically. Perhaps it was all the bullying she received as a child because she was small and quite exotic looking when compared to normal Wallachians but, it added to the rather poor perception of herself. As such, Mimi had figured that Alucard always had a bit of a mischievous streak, perhaps he just liked how foolish she looked when she got all embarrassed and worked up like this.

“Y-you made me Dinner? That’s very sweet of you, thank you!” She smiled softly, her heart then began to race as he smirked at her. “I must ask… what is the occasion?” When Alucard led her to the dinning area, Mimi nearly tripped over her own two feet as she was still a very flustered from the attention she received from the dhampir. “A-ah, forgive me for my clumsiness…”

Alucard
He smiled at Mirelle's sneezing, but was a bit concerned she was catching a cold. He too turned away to sneeze quietly, wondering if she was right about someone talking about them. Shrugging it off, he began to lead her into the dining room. Her blush only extenuated her features, making her appear cuter than ever. Excited to see her reaction he led her into the dining room, it was much warmer than the rest of the castle, the crackling of the fire was relaxing in a way. Alucard looked back at her with confusion, a bit of anxiety rose within him "It is your birthday, is it not?" he questioned with an arched brow. He hoped he hadn't gotten the date wrong. He quickly caught her as she tripped, by this point he was used to her clumsy nature, his reaction time was much faster than her's and thus he could ensure she never harmed herself.
The table was set with two plates, one at the very end, and one on the corner closest. He recalled how his father would often sit at the end of the table, and when he was younger as he was head of the household. On his birthday Lisa convinced him to let Alucard sit there once when he was very young, and it made him feel special. Thus he pulled out the chair at the end of the table and beckoned Mirelle to come sit "Even if it is not the correct date I hope you enjoy nonetheless." he explained. His mother was a fantastic cook, she was the only human in the castle and thus the only one who needed to cook for herself. His father tried to cook her a meal once and it was terrible, so she taught him how to cook as well, and she then taught Alucard when he grew older.
He felt himself growing anxious again as he would soon confess, and he was unsure if Mirelle saw him as more than a friend. Surely she felt the same, at least that is what he hoped.
Sienna
Sienna laughed so hard she began to tear up a bit, when she calmed down she patted Trevor on the shoulder "Lets hope for her sake she is oblivious." she said with a smirk. She tried to ignore the stares she received from the strangers who seemed to know who she was. They stopped the wagon outside a stable, where the stable hands began to tend to the horses. She blushed at the sound her stomach made "I told you I was hungry!" she gave Trevor a playful shove, and began to walk to the tavern. Once inside she recognized the woman at the bar. A tall woman, with fiery red hair, a woman who used to be close friends with her family, "Marnie?" she questioned, and the woman immediately perked up.
"Sienna?" said the woman with a big grin "Oh my God runt, I thought you were dead!" she said hopping over the counter and pulling Sienna into a tight embrace. Sienna hugged her tightly, happy that she still had someone yet, even if she might not be her family she was practically her aunt. When Marnie pulled away she had a grim look on her face "This isn't the best place for you to be right now-" she was cut off by Sienna's stomach growling once again "Let me get you some food though." she said with a laugh.
Sienna took a seat at one of the tables as Marnie went back into the kitchen, she looked at Trevor "She's an old family friend, haven't seen her in forever." she said with a smile, still elated from their first meeting. Though she was a bit concerned as to why she said she shouldn't be in the village.

Trevor

Trevor couldn’t help but smile as Sienna pushed him playfully. He would never admit, well at least for now, that he thought that Sienna was rather cute. She was spunky and always had a kick to her, and Trevor really enjoyed that. Things were never dull or boring when she was around. Even as they entered the bar, the looks didn’t seem to cease. Was there something on his face? Or did he have toilet paper stuck to his shoe again?

It was then that the bartender literally threw herself over to embrace Sienna. The hunter was a bit confused, but he got the idea that the two knew each other somehow. “So… Runt huh?” Trevor asked with a mischievous smirk as he sat by her.. “I’m guessing you were the runt of a litter? Tell me, how is she a family friend? Is she like a friend of your father’s or something?”

More so, Trevor was worried about what the redhead said about the area. If it really wasn’t safe, they should really shovel down the food and get the hell out of this town as soon as possible. “Sienna, what did she mean that this isn’t the best place to be for you? Have you been here before?” He inquired.

Mimi

“O-oh, no! You’re right, my birthday is approaching, its just that I didn’t want to assume, you know? It’s always hard figuring out what date to celebrate on because I was just kinda found on the doorsteps as a baby.” She reassured with a smile as she followed his lead. It was then that they entered the dining room and Mirelle glazed upon the decorated room in surprise and delight as it literally took her breath away. “A-Adrian… you did this all for me?” She asked with a bright smile.

“It’s really lovely, I-I’m so pleasantly surprised that I blanked out for a moment.” Mimi giggled softly. She smiled brightly as she pulled Alucard into a tight hug softly nuzzling his chest as they embraced. “Thank you, you truly are the sweetest.” She thanked as her hand gently cupped his cheek gently. It was old, she looked at Alucard for a moment still in his arms, and maybe it was the lighting from the fireplace, but she felt an odd feeling as she gazed at him, her heart rate speeding up rapidly.

“U-Uh so um…” She stuttered as she pulled away from Alucard, her face a bright red as she sat down. “Is this what you have been up to the past few days? I missed my cuddle buddy.” She teased with a soft pout. “This looks really good!” Mimi exclaimed as she looked down at the array of food in front of her. “I-I really can’t believe through all this trouble for me… I can’t thank you enough!”

Alucard
Relieved that he had not celebrated too soon Alucard let out a sigh. He had worked very hard, but it was no trouble at all, he cared for Mirelle, and wanted her to be comfortable in the castle, and have a fond memory to look back on. She looked beautiful in the light of the fire, the shadows danced on her face, he could still see her blush.
He was taken by surprise when she pulled him into an embrace. He felt his face heat up just slightly when she cupped his cheek, her hands were so soft and gentle. Before he took his seat, Alucard quickly opened the bottle of red wine that was sitting on the table, and poured into a glass for Mirelle and a glass for himself. Then, he took his seat beside her and began to cut up his meal "I wanted you to feel special. I sent letters to Sypha, Sienna, and even Trevor but they are all so busy." he explained. He was sort of relieved Trevor was not coming, seeing as he was a nuisance, and would ruin the relaxing atmosphere he worked so hard to prepare.
Taking a sip of wine he looked at her "Mirelle, we've known each other for awhile now, having you in the castle means a lot to me. I probably would have gone mad if you were not here." he said softly "and I-" he stopped when he heard a banging at the door. Usually it was no surprise, but the castle was out in the middle of nowhere now. He frowned, suspicious of what was outside. Likely Mirelle did not hear it, the only reason he did was because of his heightened senses "Someone is at the door." he said as he listened once more. The pounding continued, and Alucard rose to his feet, if it were any of his old companions they likely would have made their presence known. The pounding continued this time louder than ever before, he remembered that it was snowing outside, had someone gotten got in a storm? He looked to Mirelle "Stay here," he said, and he walked out of the dining room and into the main hall.
Sienna
She pressed her lips into a thin line, wishing Trevor had never heard that "Yes, I was the 'runt' of sorts, the youngest and smallest out of all my brothers and sisters. Everyone calls me runt." she explained. "My mother's friend, actually, they grew up together. Marnie met her husband around the same time my mother met my father, and I grew up around her kids, we were all like cousins." said Sienna as she watched Marnie come out from the kitchen with a tray carrying two big plates of turkey legs and veggies. Along with two pints of ale.
She set the food and drink down on the table and took a seat "You ask a lot of questions, Belmont." said Marnie "Don't act so surprised, that crest is well known among our kind, no harm will come to you, but Sienna." she said, her voice dropping low "Terribly sorry about your pa, he was a good man. I still mourn your ma, I'll miss that woman." a tear fell down her cheek and she wiped it away "This village belonged to good people, they died when those demons attacked. Your pa asked our kind to help protect the humans, but there were just too many of them. We lost a lot of good men and women. We all gathered here, and it seems those beasts only wanted humans, they passed right over us wolves. So, we took what had, rebuilt this place, and now it's our own little doggy heaven." explained Marnie with a grin.
Sienna chewed on the massive turkey leg and took a swig of ale "Still doesn't explain why I shouldn't be here." she pointed out.
"Roderick is alpha now." said Marnie. Sienna stopped, her heart sinking. She knew that name well, he and her father were at constant odds with each other, Roderick did not like humans, saw no reason to be loyal to them, but her father disagreed. He once tried to challenge him, but her father won.

Trevor

Trevor bit his lip, trying to suppress his laughter, but it slipped out anyway. It wasn't so much the fact that she was the runt, but more so he could see the look of annoyance on Sienna’s face. “Awww, you’re the baby of the litter, that’s adorable!” He chuckled with a deep and hearty laugh. It was only with Sienna did he laugh this genuinely and it didn’t really occur to him until recently that that was the case.

When Marnie sat down, Trevor mid-motion extended his hand for a shake when the bartender already seemed to know who he was. “Well, since you already know my surname… the name’s Trevor.” He informed and then eagerly began to eat while listening intently to Marnie. It seems much like the vampires when Dracula was slain, there was quite a bit of unrest with the werewolves once Sienna’s father passed away.

Trevor’s heart suddenly was heavy when he saw the frightened look on Sienna’s face. He wasn’t used to seeing someone with such a bright smile and cheery upbeat personality to look so… so fearful. Whoever this “Roderick” person was, it seemed like he posed a lot of danger to Sienna, and he was not going to let him hurt her if he could help it. He reached over and gently put his hand over Sienna’s. “Whoever this person is, he isn’t going to touch so much of a hair on your head while I’m around,” Trevor assured.

Mimi

Mimi smiled at Alucard as she watched him open the wine. “Oh gosh, I’m not much of a drinker and I’m not very good at holding it down. I’m so short so, I get drunk relatively fast.” The alchemist admitted with a sheepish laugh. “But it’s a special occasion, so a glass or two won’t hurt.” Her face then lit up as she took the first bite of the meal that Alucard had prepared for her. “My my, I never knew you were such a good cook. Have you been holding out on me all this time.” She winked.

She then listened intently to Alucard words, as she wasn’t really sure where he was going with this, but as he seemed like he was reaching his point, there was suddenly a knock on the door, or at least there was according to Alucard there was. “Oh, if you insist. I will wait for you.” She nodded.

Outside a man in a rather regal knight uniform could be seen knocking on the door. Oddly enough, there was no one but him outside save for the horse he rode on to get here. He knocked once more on the door. Was no one home? He was not going to leave that easily, he had a mission given to him by his liege, and he would not leave until he completed it.

Alucard
He opened the door only to be met with a sharp gust of cold air. Just outside was a knight, of very high rank according to his armor. Alucard frowned, it was strange to say the least. The knight was shivering from the cold, his horse was equally suffering, it too wore a heavy armor with useless decoration "I am Ser Leonardo, I come bearing a letter from King Elias." said the knight, as he held out a envelope bearing the official royal seal. Alucard observed him strictly, and went to open the letter "It is for the alchemist, does she still live here?" he questioned, his teeth chattered as another gust of wind blew snow into the main hall.
"Come with me." Alucard said as he stepped out of the castle, and led the horse to a stable nearby. It used to belong to the Belmont estate, and even though it was in a state of disrepair it still would serve the horse well. Stone walls and a wooden roof, and lots of hay. Once the horse was taken care of they entered back into the castle. What a shame it was to have the dinner interrupted "Mirelle." Alucard called from the main hall "There is a man here with a letter for you." he explained.
Sienna
"This baby of the litter is gonna kick your ass if you ever tell Sypha or Alucard." said Sienna through a mouthful of turkey. She was really scarfing it all down, but seemed to ignore her vegetables. When he placed a hand over hers she felt a sense of calm, she was glad Trevor was here, and that she would not be alone.
Marnie couldn't help but smile at Trevor's enthusiasm "He's a keeper." she whispered to Sienna, who frowned and tried to hide her blush "You know the Belmonts used to be allies to werewolves, that's why your father was so fond of humans, they stayed by us." Marnie explained "Roderick doesn't care for our history, he only wants power. A few vampire ladies came by the other day and spoke with him, I don't know what they're up to but I do know you can never trust a vampire." she added.
"I don't want to run. Not again." said Sienna.

Trevor

“Oh really, now?” Trevor chuckled. “Jesus, didn’t know we were running a nursery, between you being a runt, and Mimi a gremlin in her own right... Color me surprised. When do I get my babysitting fees paid?” He continued to tease. Maybe a gremlin was a bit harsh, but he was still a bit peeved at that one time when he was messing with the alchemist and she shouted, “I WON’T HESITATE, HEATHEN”, and began to bite and gnaw at his ankles. He always teased her saying that she was too short to reach him and could only reach his ankles but that was ridiculous, she left some serious scars. It was kinda impressive how Sienna would not let that turkey leg go for anything, even when she was threatening the Belmont with violence. “I don’t know, you aren’t doing too good of a job convincing me, I mean look, you are even skipping your vegetables! How are you supposed to grow big and strong if you don’t get your proper nutrients.”

Trevor couldn’t help but sheepishly blush as Marnie commented on him being a keeper and began to mumble a bunch of words of denial and embarrassment under his breath. He then paused… vampire ladies? “Tell me Marnie, what did these ‘vampire ladies’ look like?” Trevor asked with a raise of an eyebrow. “Sienna, we’re not running anywhere. I’m going to let some wannabe alpha try to run you out of Town. I know how it feels to be pushed out of somewhere you belong, and I’m not going to let that happen to you.” He stated with determination.

Mimi
Mimi waited for Alucard to return, a bit worried for him. They never got visitors before, as no one really came around this area anymore and also the fact that the castle was a bit hidden as well… and who could possibly want to brave through this storm? It was almost as bad as the one Alucard and her got stuck in last year around the time they first met. Her face then lit up as she heard the familiar way Alucard called her name and practically leaped out of her seat. “Is everything ok? There weren’t any problems when you answered the door right…?” Mimi asked with worry as she rushed over to Alucard, doting on him a bit as she ran up to him for a small hug. She then gasped slightly in surprise when she saw the middle-aged man in a rather formal knight uniform. “A letter for me…?”

The knight then began to walk around the two as he inspected Mimi for a moment, as she embraced Alucard a bit tighter. She had never been too good with strangers and was always a bit self-conscious. “G-goodness gracious, you look almost exactly like her… You even have the same star-shaped birthmark under your eye as her, and you have my King’s eyes. ” He commented, his voice a bit shaky as he kneeled, presenting the letter to her. “Forgive me for staring, it’s just… King Elias and I are best friends, and… he’s going to be so happy to see you after 25 years of searching. I also bare a letter from the King for you as well Mr. Tepes.” Mimi pulled away from Alucard shyly as she took the rather pristine letter and opened it to read it. What could the King of Wallachia want with her?

Alucard
The knight seemed kind of timid around Alucard, he relaxed immensely when Mirelle came back into the room. Alucard listened as he listed her features. Searching for 25 years? How strange. He took his letter from the knight "My name is Alucard." he corrected, technically Mr. Tepes would be his father, and that was not something he wanted. His letter was surprising. It told a tragic tale, one of two brothers and a father's wish that was broken. The king apologized for his mother's death, and offered anything in return, even though he knew nothing could make up for it. Alucard did not want anything from the king, the reminder of it only felt like more salt in the wound.
It also detailed why he was sending letters in the first place, that Mirelle was rumored to have been traveling with him, and that she may be his daughter. He knew Mirelle had a foggy past, but he never would have expected she be the daughter of the King of Wallachia. He looked at the knight , and then to Mirelle "Let us speak in private." he said to her, placing his hand on the small of her back and ushering her back into the dining room. Leaving the knight behind in the empty hall.
He knew she must be hopeful, it had to be a lot to take in, but he had to be cautious "It could be a trap." he said, rereading the letter in his hand over and over "The timing is incredibly convenient." he insisted. His father was never fond of the king, but truthfully he was never fond of the church, the king was different. His words seemed genuine, but he was unsure if he could trust him.
Sienna
Sienna flicked a piece of carrot at Trevor, but missed. Marnie frowned at her and she smiled innocently. Marnie turned to Trevor "They looked like vampire ladies, nothing really special. Wore armor, black with white trim." she explained.
"Sounds like Carmilla's troops, I wouldn't be surprised if she's looking for some extra muscle. Knowing Roderick he would jump on that in an instant." said Sienna as she leaned back in her seat, the turkey leg was gnawed to the bone, but she wouldn't chew on the bone in front of Trevor.
Marnie placed a hand on her shoulder "I agree with Trevor, I'm with you. You two can stay at my place for awhile, if you don't mind my pups running around." she said with a smirk, "Oh, but I only have one guest room with a single bed." she was curious to see how Sienna would respond.
"Trevor can sleep on the floor." said Sienna with an unamused look, she took a nibble from the carrot and made a face of disgust.
A smile crossed Marnie's features, she rolled her eyes at Sienna's pickiness "Whenever you're ready I can close up here and we can head out." she said, mainly talking to Trevor, seeing as Sienna was already finished.

Trevor

Trevor snorted in laughter as the carrot missed her. Sienna was so easy and fun to tease, he would never get bored on the road as long as he was with her, and as much as he wouldn’t admit, he adored her company. His smile then faded as Marnie began to describe the vampire ladies. Yep, as he thought, it matched the exact description of Carmilla’s knights. He then looked down at the empty plate that sat before Sienna. “Damn, and I thought I was a fast eater, you basically inhaled it.” He mumbled in teasing amazement.

“Thank you for your Hospitality-...” Trevor began to thank but was cut off by Marnie’s statement of how there was only one room with one bed and began to blush slightly. Then Sienna without missing a heartbeat stated that Trevor was sleeping on the floor. “Oh come, on really?!” He huffed at the werewolf. “Fuck, there was no hesitation in that decision. I thought I would at least get a say in this.” He commented, but it was clear that he wasn’t mad by the amused smirk he tried to hide.

“Well, I’m pretty much done.”He nodded. Trevor had cleared his plate, but nowhere at the speed Sienna did. Truth be told, he thought that aspect of her was endearing. “Don’t rush on our account though. I also don’t mind assisting you in closing your pub if you need me to move tables and chair and the like.” He offered.

Mimi
Mirelle’s letter told of the story of how King Elias met her supposed mother Glenda, a benevolent witch who disappeared while he was mere days away from proposing to her. They were expecting Mimi at the time, and she was about a month into her pregnancy when she took off. Mimi couldn’t help but smile warmly as she continued to read it, he really seemed to love Glenda a lot and was happy at the prospect of finally finding his long-lost daughter. She then looked up at Alucard as he began to take her back into the dining room. “Oh uh, okay…” She nodded.

She listened intently to Alucard as he spoke and reached out to grab his hand softly. “Adrian… I know it seems like very odd timing and you know how careful about these things I can be as well but…” Mirelle began. “I… I don’t know, it seems right. Just like how being here with you in the castle feels like its right and where I belong. I don’t think Sir Leonardo was lying… he was near tears when he saw me. If it’s all acting, then he is certainly one talented actor. Also, why would he go through this storm all for a trap? I mean he nearly froze to death out there… and my letter was strangely detailed. It told me to examine my pink rabbit, the one that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. He says there should be a pendant in it… a one of a kind pendant that he was going to my mother, and how he put it in there to surprise her with it.”

“I’d like to check my rabbit, but that can wait, you never got to say what you wanted at the dinner table. You said it was very important...” Mirelle reminded as she held his hand a bit tighter and looked up at him with soft pleading eyes and a warm smile.

Alucard
Mirelle was right, the convince may have only just been his own bad luck. The knight did seem genuine, his armor and decor were all accurate, as well as the seal on the letter. He took Mirelle's letter, and quickly read it over. The king seemed hopeful that she was indeed his long lost daughter, the story of how he had met her mother was sweet, and their relationship reminded him of his own mother and father. Of course he would go with her to the capital, but it was likely he would leave her there. He could not simply abandon the castle and all it's riches, he tasked himself with protecting the knowledge that resided in both it and the old Belmont Estate.
A frown seemed to be plastered on his features, he only just acknowledged his feelings for her and now he was supposed to send her away? To where she actually belonged? She deserved to have her family whole again, she deserved to be a princess with a loving father. Locked away on top of cold mountain in a dark castle that was practically reduced to ruins after the battle with his father was never the best place for her. He cursed himself for not realizing sooner. Turning back to her, his golden eyes sharpened "It wasn't that important, we should go investigate your rabbit." he said, and released her hand. It was a quick change of subject, he was hoping she wouldn't question him any further. Though he knew she would likely squeeze the truth out of him eventually.
He walked out into the main hall, assuming that Mirelle would follow, he gave the knight a glare as he passed by him, still unsure if he could trust him. Then he went up the stairs to Mirelle's bedroom, that was just across the hall from his own. Inside, he looked around for the rabbit "Where is it?" he asked.
Sienna
Sienna was blushing brightly as Trevor's smirk, and she was frowning deeply. Marnie laughed at the two "Thanks for the offer, but everything is taken care of, I was just about to leave before you two showed up." she explained. She stood to her feet "Come on then." she said beckoning the two outside. Marnie locked the door behind them, and placed the keys in the front pocket of her apron, the village was pitch black by now, and everyone had locked themselves away "I live on the outskirts." she said as she led them out of town to a two-story farm house with a large field of crops. "The kiddos will all be asleep by now, they'll be up all night if they find out you're here. That can wait until morning." she explained as she pushed open the screen door, and entered the house.
It smelled of firewood, and the evening's supper. It reminded Sienna of her old home, the fireplace, the kitchen, the big dining room table that still wasn't enough to sit the whole family. She smiled to herself, but felt tears in her eyes. Marnie led them upstairs to the guest room that was rather dusty, but still fairly clean. She lit a lantern in the room and left them alone. Sienna looked around, and felt another pang of homesickness in her heart. She took Trevor's hand "You don't have to sleep on the floor Trevor. I-" she sighed "I miss my family." she whispered. She didn't like to cry in front of others, but Trevor was a friend, so she let the tears spill... reluctantly.

Trevor

Kiddos… Trevor was an only child so he didn’t really know how to interact with children, not to mention he was by himself at a young age. A bit of panic began to seep in as the realization of that he was probably going to have to talk to them sunk in. What do you even say to kids, to begin with?? He would have to worry about that tomorrow he supposed. He was pretty thankful that the kids were asleep... wait she said kiddos, oh bloody hell how many were they?!? They were werewolves so probably a lot.

The house looked nice, warm and welcoming and as they walked through it and up to their room he couldn’t help but already feel at home and at peace and it was really a lovely place. Marnie took them to their room, lit a lantern and then bid them goodnight. He looked around for a moment, it was nice and quaint room, and it was as he was looking around Sienna began to speak. “Wait, I don’t?” Trevor asked in confusion and then saw the tears begin to fall. Oh god, what do you do when a girl cries? What do you do when anyone begins to cry? He had been alone for so long he forgot about basic things like this.

“Hey…” He began. “It’s okay, I understand that feeling all too well, unfortunately.” Trevor then pulled Sienna into a hug. “It’s okay to miss them, it's okay to cry for them. They were very important to you and there’s nothing wrong with feeling the way you do.” He said as he comforted the werewolf. “If you ever feel alone or sad, I am here for you. Don’t be afraid to talk to me, even if you need a good cry.” He nodded. A part of him wished… wished that he still had the ability to cry, but his tears all dried up a very long time ago.

Mimi couldn’t help but feel a little sad when he let go of her hand and she followed Alucard to her room. As they passed the knight, Mimi quickly bowed with an apologetic smile, as Alucard was never too good with strangers. Speaking of which, Alucard was acting a bit unusual. He was the sort to always be cool and collected but at this moment, it seemed almost like he was angry, and maybe even a bit upset. Mimi then paused as she thought back to his words before they were interrupted… about how he would have gone mad in the castle by himself and it hit her. Alucard was upset that she might leave…

She then broke out of her thoughts as she heard Alucard speak to her. “It’s… it’s by my bedside, but please… before we look at it, we need to talk about something else first," Mirelle began as she took his hand once more and sat him down beside her on her bed. “I-I know this is an overwhelming situation, but just know that no matter what happens when we look at that bunny, it’s not going to change the fact that you mean a lot to me. I’m… I’m not going to leave you here by yourself. I refuse to. I love spending time and living here with you, and finding my father isn’t going to change that, okay? I just want to know where I come from. Once we figure that out, we can come back home here in the castle and things will be back to normal. I promise!” Mirelle smiled lovingly at Alucard. “Adrian… I know you said it wasn’t important… but you are important to me, and I want you to be able to feel like you can tell me anything. So please, tell me what you were going to say, pretty please?” She pleaded with soft eyes and a pout.

Alucard
Seeing her pleading eyes Alucard felt his heart melt. He had to tell her, but the words he had recited in his head for so long faded away. A sigh left his lips, he should have known she was not going to let him get away without saying it. When she assured him that she would love leave him he believed her, and what kind of man would he be if he kept such a treasure all to himself. Still, the fear that she might share the same fate as his mother struck him. She was all alone while his father was out traveling, he never even knew she was being taken. Would Mirelle share the same fate? He never wanted to leave her side. However, it was her journey, not his, he could not keep her here because he was afraid.
She stood before him, soft and gentle, a silent plea to him. He cupped her face and leaned down, pressing a kiss on her lips. Soft and warm, but passionate, and possessive. He would not let her go, not ever. When he pulled away he looked deep into her eyes "Mirelle, I love you." he finally admitted. A weight fell off his shoulders, the words felt good coming out of his mouth, it was nice to finally hear them out loud. He watched her face, hoping to see a light in her eyes "I must admit, I started having feelings for you back when we first met. You warm up the room where I leave it cold, your smile is contagious." he said with a faint grin "And you're beautiful." he let the words spill out of his mouth, without even thinking. They all came from his heart, and he hoped Mirelle felt the same.
Sienna
The hug was warm and comforting, it only made her cry more. She tried to stay as quiet as possible, not wanting to draw Marnie into this mess, or wake the kids. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his chest, before she realized what she was doing "Don't you dare tell anyone about this." she whispered harshly, wiping her eyes and nose. Though she did appreciate him being there for her, she wasn't very good at expressing her feelings. She sat on the edge of the bed and buried her face into her hands "I wish I could sleep for a year like Alucard." she mumbled.
Eventually she would have to face Roderick, and her people. Her father was always good at comforting her when she was upset, and probably just as good at talking to the people and settling any unrest that arose. Sienna was not her father, and she was never destined to lead, but there were two kinds of wolves, leaders, and followers. She, was not a follower, she hated being told what to do, so though she did not want to admit it, she was more like she father and previously thought. With a sigh she laid back on the bed, sinking into the soft mattress, she looked over at Trevor "Thank you." she said, but quickly turned her head away.

Trevor

A bit of panic began creep into Trevor. Did he do something wrong? This was what you did when someone was upset and you want to comfort them, right? The hunter began to mentally scold himself in response to Sienna crying harder. “Hey… did I do something wrong? This is what you’re supposed to do to comfort someone, no?” He asked with a raised eyebrow. It was then that Sienna pulled away and warned him not to tell anyone about this, and he couldn’t help but flash a reassuring smile at her. “Sure, that’s a promise I can keep.”

He watched as Sienna walked over to sit on the edge of the bed and he soon followed and sat beside her. “Alucard went to slumber to recover, and sleeping for a year isn’t going to make the problem go away. Alucard slept and he still had to face his father when he woke up.” Trevor pointed out. “I know this is difficult, but it’s not impossible. Come on, have a little faith in yourself! Where’s that usually upbeat and happy go lucky confidence you usually have?”

Sienna then thanked him, and he could just feel the surprised expression forming on his face, that quickly turned into a bashful grin. “Hey, don’t sweat it. It’s the least I can do. Gotta at least do one good deed a year right?” He teased, trying to sound nonchalant about it, but it was clear he was a bit embarrassed.

It didn’t fully register for Mimi what was happening at first, but it took her a moment to realize that Alucard was pulling her in for a kiss. There was a slight gasp before their lips met, but as soon as they did, it felt like her heart was going to explode out of her chest. She found herself kissing back, as her lips matched his and a soft sigh of content escaped as she gasped for a small breath of air. When they finally parted, Mirelle’s face looked as though it was on fire and she felt a bit light headed from the suddenness of Alucard’s actions.

“I-I…” She tried to begin but there were so many things she wanted to say, but her mind was blanking, or maybe it was because there were so many thoughts rushing about in her head that it made her freeze up. “I-Is it hot in here, or is it just me?” She laughed sheepishly, trying to piece herself back together. “I-I… I was a bit confused about how I felt about you. I never thought you would ever be interested in someone like me, so I pushed those feelings aside, but uh, that kiss definitely brought them back again.” She giggled shyly. God, she was a mess right now, but she tried her best to keep it together and looked away shyly when he said he was beautiful.

“I love you too…” Mimi said softly as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. It felt good to say it back. “I-I need to sit down after that, your kiss literally made my knees weak…” She admitted as she sat down on her bed and her eyes looked up at him, trying to read his expression. “C-can we…” She began as her embarrassment rose up again and covered her face shyly as if to hide her blush. “...cuddle later?”

Alucard
Mirelle's blushing face sent a rush of warmth through his veins. He felt a slight hint of anxiety as she struggled to find her words, but was relieved to find she did indeed share the same feelings as he did for her.
I love you too...

It was so nice to hear her say those words, out loud, and without hesitation. He smiled softly and was a bit surprised when she said she needed to sit down "Of course, of course, please have a seat." he said ushering her to the bed. Taking his seat beside her he smirked at her question "Is that an innuendo?" he questioned curiously. That seemed more like something Sienna would do than Mirelle, but if she was shy to ask such things he would not be surprised if she called it 'cuddling.
He chuckled softly "I know it wasn't." he assured her, placing a hand on her shoulder "I would be happy to share a bed with you, but for now we must find this rabbit." he insisted. He knew the rabbit she had, it was old and smelled. Sienna once used it as a chew toy, everyone struggled to get her to drop it. He had old toys he was attached to as well, but now his memories were not so fond of them. Not since his mother and father had died. They were the ones that made them. He was particularly fond of a stuffed wolf made by his mother. He shook those memories away "Where did you say it was, again?" he questioned rising to his feet. He kept a firm hand on Mirelle's shoulder "You can stay seated, I can't have you swooning and falling over." he said with a mischievous grin.
SiennaShe frowned and shoved a pillow in Trevor's face "Shut up." she said in a sarcastic voice. Truthfully though she appreciated him, more than anyone. A half smile crossed her features as her tears dried up "I'm so tired." she said while shaking her head. Standing up she took off her cloak , and over-shirt leaving her in just a tank-top, she kicked off her boots too, and tossed them on the floor, she was never one for cleanliness. Picking up the pillow she tossed at Trevor she fluffed it up, and then crawled under the sheets of the bed.
"You can sleep in the bed, if you want, but just know I kick." she said with a smirk. In all honestly she hated sleeping alone, it was a lot easier to fall asleep when you had someone beside you. When she was younger they only had a few beds, and so it would usually be three to a bed. She got used to it, and enjoyed snuggling up to someone as she slept. As she traveled alone she found it hard to fall asleep, and was often afraid being in a room all by herself.

Trevor

A big grin was plastered onto Trevor’s face as Sienna shoved a pillow in his face, despite the fact that he tried to play it off. Sienna was special to him… and since he was the type of person who didn’t really know how to express it well, he never bothered to with words. He loved the playful and admittedly immature banter and jokes they shared, and there was no one like Sienna who could put a smile on his face like her.

“Well, you’ve had a long day… you deserve to sleep in and rest,” Trevor said as he began to take his weapons and battle items off of him, putting the Morning Star on a nearby dresser gingerly. It was one of the last things he had of the Belmont family. He turned to see Sienna only in her tank top and tried his best not to stare for too long as he took off his boots and jacket.

To be frank, Trevor was someone who loved a woman who can kick his ass, although, he would never admit it if you asked him up front. Sypha and Mirelle were more on the dainty and scholarly side, and he could understand why Alucard was so into Mirelle. She was small and gentle, so of course, Alucard would adore her as she’s someone he can protect. Sienna, on the other hand, was a warrior through and through, and it showed with how toned she was in her arms, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t feminine, oh no. There have been a few time he found himself ogling her more womanly assets. Trevor rolled his eyes at Sienna’s statement. God, she was a handful and he loved that about her. “Geez, what are you a mule? Fair enough, just don’t be surprised if I kick you back.” He joked playfully as he went to bed beside her. “Are you sure you aren’t just afraid of the dark and don’t want to be alone?”

Mimi

“An innuendo…?” It took a moment for Mimi to ponder what he was saying, but when she realized that he thought she meant something totally different, her face turned the reddest that Alucard or perhaps anyone has ever seen. “N-nooooo!” She squeaked in embarrassment as she playfully hit his shoulder before she buried her face in his chest. “T-that’s not what I-...!” Alucard smiled at her and it was then that she realized that he was teasing her. “Oh y-you!” She huffed in a playful manner as she pouted. “H-honestly! I really do just want to embrace…” She mumbled softly. “...S-shows just what you’re thinking about! My goodness, not even after a minute after our confessions and you already want to go at it and get laid? I don’t know if I should be flattered or not.” Mirelle teased as she blew a raspberry at Alucard.

“Oh, it’s by my bedside on the nightstand.” She informed as she pointed to the pink bunny. The rabbit was a keepsake that she had since she was a baby and her adopted mother told her that she found Mimi in the basket along with the rabbit and blankets for warmth. Perhaps Glenda left the rabbit with Mimi and never thought to check it. Mimi then pouted when Alucard told her to sit so she wouldn’t swoon and fall over. “Well, it’s your fault!” She retorted in embarrassment. “Who gave you the right to be so ethereally handsome anyway! Jeez, it’s no wonder you stole my heart. What are you going to take next?” Your virginity Mimi, your virginity. Way to really set yourself up for this one.

Alucard
He smirked at her as he reached for the bunny, "You think I'm ethereally handsome?" he questioned with a grin and took a seat beside her as he handed her the stuffed rabbit. Alucard nearly choked when she questioned what he would steal next, "Goodness, woman." he sighed "I am grateful you stayed here, rather than with Sienna and Trevor, they would have surely stolen your innocence, and not in a good way." he smirked faintly and shook his head. Staying with him probably poisoned her mind a bit too.

Running his fingers through his hair he frowned at the rabbit, unsure of what truths it would tell. He wondered what the knight was up to, and if he had broken anything yet. Alucard had not heard the sound of anything shattering in the main hall. He thought back to their dinner, it was surely cold by now. He smiled "It is your birthday, I will gladly do anything you wish." he said all gentlemanly like a gentleman. Of course he would not complain about sharing a bed with Mirelle, she was warm, and soft, and seeing as he was also half vampire Alucard had a hard time staying warm.

His eyes flicked back to the rabbit, "I'll support you, if you want to follow this lead I will follow you." he promised, and placed an assuring hand on her shoulder. Even though he feared she would be taken from him, he believed being with her father would be the best path for her to follow. Part of him was curious as to where her mother was, or if she was even alive. If anyone had the resources to search for her it was Alucard, perhaps he would send a letter out to the others so they would keep an eye out.

Sienna
She laughed quietly as he crawled into the bed beside her, she rolled her eyes as she blew out the lantern "You wish." she told him with a smirk. He was right, about her being afraid of the dark, but she wouldn't let him know that. As slyly as she could she snuggled closer to him, if he asked she would just say it was because he was warm. Just as she was drifting between the waking world and her dreams she rolled over "I think I love him." she whispered faintly, to someone in her dreams. By morning she would not even remember.

The rooster crowed at sunrise, and Marnie's family was up and about shortly after. It was Randolf (Marnie's husband) who awoke the two in the morning. When Sienna awoke she found herself laying right on top of Trevor. She quickly got up, and jumped off the bed, she could not hide her blush from Randolf, who was snickering in the doorway, a mischievous look on his face, she threw her boot at him. He managed to dodge it "Breakfast is ready!" he called as he ran down the stairs.

Sienna sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, which was now a tangled mess. She tried her best to tame the beast but it always looked like a mess, that was why she kept it short in the first place. Pulling on her shirt and coat she nudged Trevor "Breakfast." she yawned. Waking up early was not something she missed about living on a farm.

Trevor

Trevor chuckled softly at Sienna as she blew out the lantern. He noticed that Sienna was slowly creeping closer to him and he smirked as he just pulled her closer to him. Trevor was never good with being subtle and beating around the bush. “You seemed cold.” He mumbled with a yawn. He was normally very careful with not overstepping any boundaries, but she was inching closer and closer to him, so he figured it was okay to just close the distance between them. It was then that Sienna was mumbling in her sleep.

"I think I love him."

Trevor swiftly looked over at Sienna a bit of blush rising on his shocked face. Wait, who was she talking about? Was it him or someone else? He hoped it was about him, but what are the chances that she could ever love him? She deserved way better than a wash-up drunk like him. Trevor sighed, there was no point to fretting about it. Maybe he could ask about it in the morning? Would she find it weird if he did? Trevor pulled Sienna closer to him and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. “I think I love you too...”

Trevor awoke when Randolf called them down for breakfast and he began to slowly open his eyes to see Sienna laying atop of him. “W-what?!” He exclaimed with a startled jump as he saw Sienna literally leap off of him and off the bed. With a red face, he sighed. “The not most unusual way I’ve woken up…” He smirked teasingly. “Look I know I'm pretty irresistible, but Jesus, at least take me out for dinner first.”

Trevor began to make himself presentable, as he climbed out of bed. His eyes looking toward Sienna once in a while. “Are you okay…? I heard you talking in your sleep. Is there something else bothering you?” He asked with genuine concern. "I mean you don't have to if you don't want to of course... but I'm... I'm a bit worried about you."

Mimi

“I-I do… is that bad? I’ve always thought you were attractive…” Mimi admits shyly her face still red. As Alucard choked Mirelle looked at him with concern. “Adrian sweetheart, are you ok?” She asked as she rubbed his back gently but then her face turned into one of confusion. “Steal my innocence? What do you mean by that? I don’t get it, was it something I said?” The alchemist huffed in honest confusion. Mirelle’s face then began to light up with a bright smile when Alucard told her that it was her birthday and he would fulfill any wish. “Then when we finish here, I want to eat the rest of the dinner you made, and I saw that there were some presents in the dining room with my name on them, I want to open those up and, I want to have lots of cake, and um…” She trailed off as she began to rapidly list all the things she wanted to do afterward. “...I also want to just talk to you and be near you. That would make me the happiest!” Mirelle exclaimed with a soft and warm tone. “There’s just a lot of things I want to say now that I don’t have to hide my feelings for you anymore.”

As she was listing all the things she wanted, she noticed there was a small pouch that she had never noticed before. She began to open it up, and inside there was a rather luxurious star-shaped pendant, adorned with diamond and gold that made Mirelle gasp when she pulled it out. Curious, Mimi examined the pendant and saw that there was a way to open it, and once she did soft music began to play from within it. Inscribed inside was simply two words; Marry Me? She looked up at Alucard in shock. “U-um… this pendant looks very expensive, custom made too! Just look at its shape and size, not to mention the music box tune playing… it probably wasn’t easy to get this together, especially since gold can be a bit tough to work with because of its chemical makeup.” Mimi informed and it was clear that she was very impressed with the craftsmanship.

“Adrian… please trust me. I won’t leave you here by yourself. We can seal the castle and the Belmont library for a bit, I’ve seen a few protection spells in the library… We can go to the capital, just for a visit for a week or two, and then come back.” She reassured as she gently caressed his cheek. “I don’t ever want to not be by your side because being with you makes me so unbelievably happy, okay? I love you...” Mirelle smiled warmly as she gazed into Alucard’s golden eyes adoringly. She then plopped herself on his lap and wrapped her arms around him to reach up for a kiss. It was warm and loving and bit more confident than the previous one. She wanted Alucard to know deep and genuine her feelings for him were, and she didn’t think words were able to quite communicate that fully yet, so she wanted to let her actions speak for her.

Alucard
He could not help but snicker at her questions, she was so innocent, he was not sure if he wanted to change that or not. It was pure, how innocent she was. He remembered the presents, Sypha had sent one, and he had went into town a few days ago bought her a new dress and a couple of books on alchemy. They were difficult to find, as they were being sold by a 'witch'. That was what they called the poor old woman, but she was merely a talented chemist. He smiled and placed a hand over Mirelle's "Anything you wish." he said with a smile. There was no harm in indulging yourself from time to time.

He too looked in shock at the pendant, that read 'marry me?' he cleared his throat as she looked up at him in shock "I assure you, I did not put that there." he tried to be clear. Yes, he loved her but he had only just admitted his feelings. He took the pendant gently, it was a stunning piece of jewelry, he could admire how painstaking it must have been to craft parts small enough to a music box that size. Whoever made this as a gift obviously wanted it to mean a lot, it was a shame it had been hidden away for so long. He looked to Mirelle, feeling relief as she assured him.

Hearing her say 'I love you' aloud meant a lot to him, he kissed her back, and placed a hand on the back of her head just to keep her there for a moment. When they pulled away he held her there for a moment, and buried his face into the crook of her neck. He wanted to enjoy her while he had her. Though she promised to stay with him, neither of them knew how the king would react to their relationship. Even if they did stay together for the rest of eternity, and he did not even want to think about turning her just yet, he would still cherish every waking moment.

Sienna
Arching a brow she stretched out "Talking in my sleep?" she questioned "Never had that happen before." she said with a frown "But no, nothing is bothering me, why? What did I say?" she asked with a worried expression. Before he could answer she heard a scream from downstairs.

"Sienna!" said a male voice. Feet stumbled up the stairs "You were here, and you didn't tell me?" said a boy with fuzzy white hair and tan skin. He stood in the doorway angrily.

Sienna blinked back at him, "Fenris?" she questioned with a grin, however he did not react back with a smile, instead he shifted into a beautiful white wolf. Sienna reacted by also shifting, she quickly bounced out of the room, nearly trampling Trevor in the process. Fenris followed close behind snapping his jaws and growling.

"Not in the house!" called Marnie from downstairs. Sienna and Fenris were on the floor biting at each other in a friendly tussle, their tails wagging with excitement. However their fun was cut short when Marnie took Fenris by the scruff and pushed him aside "We have guests!" she exclaimed.

Sienna turned back into her human self and was lying on her back, she gave a teasing glare at Fenris "I totally won that." she said through her giggles, but she was soon swarmed by a bunch of smaller more excited children. She could see her other cousin, River, pregnant and holding another young toddler in her arms, beside her was who Sienna assumed to be her husband "Good to see you all again." her voice was muffled beneath the pile of children.

Trevor

Oh no.

The Pups.

In his concern about Sienna, he forgot about his other problem; he had no idea how to interact with kids, let alone werewolf pups. He was pretty sure that they would probably have twice the amount of energy as normal kids and was proven right as he was nearly trampled by Sienna and found her roughhousing with a small white fox. Now, he had seen Sienna in wolf form plenty of times and how she did have the strength of one while in that form. There was that time that Sienna used Mimi’s pink rabbit as a chew toy and how he, Alucard, and Sypha had a hard time trying to wrestle it away without causing any more damage to it. But how was he to deal with several puppies? Who probably had very little self-control.

It was then several more children literally dogpiled onto Sienna. Jesus Christ, how many of them were there?! He then noticed the pregnant woman holding a toddler behind the group of failing wolf children. Trevor then stepped passed the tussle and raised a hand for a handshake. “Mornin’, I’m Trevor Belmont. I’ve been traveling with Sienna for about a year now. It’s nice to meet all of you.” He grinned.

Mimi

When Alucard looked down at her, telling her once again that she could have anything she wished, another bright gleam of excitement began to appear in her eyes and couldn’t help but laugh at Alucard’s clarification. “I know silly! You’re too practical as a person for shotgun weddings!” She replied matter of factly between giggles. She wasn’t fully sure about the pace she wanted to go in their relationship, but a part of her figured that they would take it moderately slow and make calls as they saw them. She had never been in a romantic relationship before, so she was very new to all of this.

Mirelle was a bit surprised when she was about to pull away but Alucard gently put a hand behind her so they could kiss for a bit more. She was certainly wasn’t going to complain. When they did actually part, Alucard found his way to the crook of her neck and Mimi couldn’t help but giggle as he buried his face there and nuzzled her. “Hee hee! H-hey, that tickles!” She exclaimed. It was then that a thought occurred to her. “My my, who knew you were so cute and cuddly. You are starting to remind me of a puppy or maybe even a bear cub.” Mirelle commented as she softly as she gently threaded her fingers through his golden hair. “I’m learning so many new things about you, and it makes me so happy, especially since I’m the only one who gets to see this side of you… makes me feel special. As much as I do want to stay here and cuddle up and give you lots of kisses, we have kept Sir Leonardo waiting for a while. We can give him an answer and continue this right after.” She giggled.

Alucard
He smiled softly at her "I nearly forgot about him, how =inhospitable of me." he aimed an insult at himself, though he truly did not care about the knight. He stood up, and set Mirelle down gently, and held out his hand for the necklace"I'll be careful with it." he assured her as he took it from her.

They traveled down the stairs and back into the main hall where Leonardo was admiring the architecture "I always heard that Dracula's castle had torches that lit themselves." he said in awe as he stared at the light on the wall. Alucard grew up with such things, so it was all normal to him. It took him awhile to understand why people were surprised by it. Mirelle had adored the warm running water to the baths, his father often told him stories of how his mother was unsure how to use the lights, and kept candles lit in her room.

"I believe we will be taking a journey to the capital." Alucard explained, he placed a hand on Mirelle's shoulder "I will be joining you, if that is not a problem?" he seemed to be daring Leonardo to say something about them, but the knight was unimpressed.

"Of course! The King would be ecstatic to have you visit as well!" he exclaimed.

Alucard was a bit shocked, but the times were changing, not everyone hated vampires as they once did. He smiled down at Mirelle "We will leave first thing in the morning. Allow me to show you to your room." he said handing the necklace back to Mirelle "Go back to the dining room and finish your dinner, and do not open the gifts until I am back." he told her with a smirk, he knew how tempting it was to open a present when no one else was around. He quickly led Leonardo to a guest room, one with an in-suite bathroom with running water, he showed him how to used it and encouraged him to enjoy a warm bath. Of course the knight made no hesitation. Once back downstairs he took his seat at the table once more.

Sienna
River looked to Trevor with a smirk, she held out her hand "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, I'm River. Eldest of the family." she said formally. Sienna snorted at her as she tried to pull a toddler away from her hair, but his hand was curled tightly around a strand of hair "Beau we do not pull hair!" River shouted as she took the toddler by the ear "Get on out of here." she ordered and the boy quickly turned into a wolf pup and ran outside with his tail between his legs.

"Sienna's got a boyfriend!~" Fenris teased, Marnie smacked him on the head and pointed to the backdoor "All right, all right." he said rubbing his head as he walked out. The house was quiet but the shouting of playing children could be heard outside.

Marnie placed a hand on Trevor's shoulder "Go on and eat now, son. Whats ours is yours." she said kindly. Sienna stood to her feet and stormed into the kitchen "But you better hurry before Sienna eats everything." she said with a laugh.

In the kitchen Sienna began to prepare herself a place. Two large pieces of bacon on her plate and one dangling from her mouth. Eggs, grits, and bread were piled on too, and were nearly falling off, she handed it to Trevor "For you." she said with a smile. She had always wanted someone to prepare her a plate when she was younger, it was such a hassle to get anything good, especially when you were small.

She prepared her own plate and took a seat, pouring herself a glass of milk "Werewolf kids are pretty rowdy." she said with a grin "River and Fenris are Marnie's kids, all the little rats running around were River's, she's got five pups. A set of triplets and a set of twins. That's common for us, to have multiples I mean." she explained before shoving a piece of bacon into her mouth.

Trevor

“Very charmed to meet you and your family.” Trevor nodded. He then blushed very slightly when Fenris began to tease Sienna about her ‘boyfriend’. He then cleared his throat and nodded at Marnie and followed Sienna into the kitchen. “Thank you for your hospitality.”

Trevor knew from experience that Sienna was not above stealing the last piece of food, and just consuming it all together. She ate a ton, and Trevor thought it was cute and endearing. When Sienna passed the plate of food to him, he raised an eyebrow with a teasing smirk. “Am I still dreaming? You are giving me the first plate of food? I was honestly expecting for you to inhale it all in one bite.” He smiled.

He then sat down across from Sienna. “What? Loud? Those little pups? I had no Idea. I totally didn’t almost get trampled earlier.” He said playfully. It was true that this was something he wasn’t used to, and it didn’t take much to see that the hunter was a bit out of place. It was when he was taking a bite of bacon that he nearly choked. “F-five children?!?! Triplets and twins?!” Trevor exclaimed as he began to beat his chest to help the food go down properly and then took a big drink of milk. “Oh jesus, I’m getting exhausted just thinking about all those kids running around…”

“By the way… did you sleep well? You were mumbling in your sleep quite a bit.” He asked once he wasn’t choking to death.

Mimi

Mimi smiled in delight when Leonardo said that the king would be ecstatic to have Alucard along and it was obvious how happy she was by the bright and joyous gleam in her eyes. She nodded happily as Alucard told her to go back into the dining room and she practically skipped away. She hummed to herself as she sat back down in the seat and began to finish up her meal. It was still very good despite it being room temperature, and she enjoyed it nonetheless. She peered at the presents that were by the corner of the room. Curiosity was getting the best of her, but Mimi did her best to wait for Alucard to return.

She thought for a moment back to earlier in the room, the confession, the embrace, and kisses and felt herself smile to herself. It was starting to fully hit her that so many things were happening at once. Not to mention that Alucard loved her like she loved him and couldn’t help but feel a bit giddy inside. Mimi nearly leaped out of her seat in surprise when she looked up to see Alucard sitting in the chair he was in before the knock at the door as well. “Oh goodness, you gave me a scare! I didn’t even hear you come in, darling.” She laughed softly. It was then that she began to blush at the realization that she could use these terms of endearment for Alucard and it would just be the norm soon. It would take a bit of getting used to though.

“Forgive me, everything's happening so fast, it’s going to take me a bit to get used to… well, us being in a romantic relationship.” She informed shyly. “I’m so happy… and I haven’t been this happy in a very very long time. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, I just feel an overwhelming wave of emotion right now… Thank you Alucard, you’re the sweetest.” She smiled brightly at him.

Alucard
The gentlest smile crossed his features at the word 'darling'. He glanced over at her, his amber gaze warm and inviting. As he took his seat he began to finish his meal, disliking that it was not as warm as it was, but nonetheless he was still proud of the celebration he had prepared. He pressed a napkin to his mouth "I will gladly take things slowly for you." he assured her "I must admit the confession was rather sudden, don't be afraid to ask me to slow down."

He poured the two of them another glass of wine, they sipped and dined for a while, enjoying the warmth of the fire as they spoke of the previous years adventure "I vividly remember Belmont referring to me as 'floating vampire Jesus'" he recalled "Sienna found it quite amusing, but then again she laughed at nearly everything that came out of Trevor's mouth." he rolled his eyes and took a sip of his wine. His plate now empty he stood to his feet and brought over three boxes, all tied with red ribbon. Placing them on the table he picked up the one on the top, it was a flat square box, he handed it to her and sat back down "This one is from me." he told her.

It was a rather plain gold necklace, with a flat round pendant. Diamonds embedded in the gold created the shape of the Orion constellation, the huntsman. He knew she was not one for extravagant pieces of jewelry, and he wanted to gift her something she could wear often. The other two boxes were filled with new clothing, and alchemy books.

Sienna
With a smirk she took her seat "I'm being hospitable." she told him. She did however begin to inhale the food on her plate without much hesitation, until Marnie smacker her on the head and told her to act more like a lady. As Trevor choked at the idea of five children she laughed, Sienna herself had grown up with five siblings, her parents had six children in total. A set of twins, a set of triplets, but Sienna was born by herself. Hence the name 'runt'.

"I grew up with eight siblings, Trevor." said Marnie with a smile as she picked up the plates the kids had left and began to wash them.

Sienna frowned "I can help-"

"Nonsense you're a guest." Marnie said sternly.

She continued to eat her breakfast, and arched a brow at Trevor's question "I slept really well actually, it's nice to have an actual mattress again." she said with a smile "Though, I did talk in my sleep when I was younger I think."

"Yes! You would walk around too- Your mother had to lock your door at night, one time you ended up in the chicken coop!" Marnie exclaimed
