18.jpg
Appearance
Standing at five feet and six inches, weighing fourty-eight kilograms, Ye-in is considered very beautiful and grateful in appearance. Her svelte form is naturally thin and toned with gentle, fitting curves and long, slender limbs. Her skin is blemish-free and clear, smooth and delicately fragrant. She has a rather pale complexion, like smooth ivory, with a rosy tint in her high cheekbones. Her lips, full enough for her oval face but not too plump, are rosy and part to reveal straight white teeth. Her eyes, almond-shaped and framed by long dark lashes, are a dark brown, serene and intense, matching with her hair. Long, soft and thick, her perfect hair falls down to below her shoulders in a waterfall of chocolate waves. Only her ears are pierced and with very faint marks on her legs from an adventurous childhood, though Ye-in is unmarred. For this reason, Ye-in tends to do many modelling gigs of different concepts.

Ye-in's attire matches her personality, and compliments her figure and skin tone; comfortable, fashionable. Make-up finds its way onto her face when she wants it, darkening her light lashes and colouring her lips. Though she tends to only wear make-up for important events. A few items of jewellery are always worn by the girl; a simple silver ring and a bracelet of the same material with the initials of her name, which was given to her by her father on her twelfth birthday. Ever since she was young, Ye-in was always taught to dress like a lady - classy, sophisticated and elegant. In public, she wears her stylish blouses and skirts. However, this doesn't stop her from wearing her jumpers and skinny jeans at home. Typically, she goes for comfort over style - yet manages to maintain her ladylike image that she has managed to keep up all her life.

10.jpg
11.jpg
Personality
It's easy to look at Ye-in and see someone completely different from the person she really is. Many have described the young princess as unique, friendly and confident; though if they were to ever look deeper they would notice that she wasn't as happy as she really seemed. If you ask three people to describe Ye-in, you'll probably get three different answers. Because depending on the person, the trust level, and what she wants from them she can be a whole different person. Ye-in limits the amount of information she dolls out to people based on many variables.

For instance if you are friends with her you'd know that she comes off as mysterious and aloof but she's actually really warm. Her friends would tell you that though she is aloof and doesn't deal with emotions well but that she understands yours better than her own. Many things were expected for her in her life which has made her organized, charismatic, and smart. She's the kind of girl who will take you on an all expense paid trip to some island adventure. But she's also the type of girl who will bring you chocolate and movies when your fresh off a break up. She may not be the best at talking about feelings but she is always ready to support her friends if they need her.

If you asked a stranger about her, they'd probably spout off details that the press has published about her life. Perks of living as royalty. Known as the good girl of the family, Ye-in once had a pretty good reputation, but during her emotional breakdown, the girl was known to be a 'wreck'. They'd tell you how she once dated that one guy who brought out the worst in her. Some of it are simple lies created to gain attention, but Ye-in probably wouldn't deny any of it because deep down inside - she regrets it.

Ye-in grew up with a mask. And although she manages to maintain that mask in public, she's just a girl trying to find herself in this big world.

Opinions on the plan
Ye-in had always known of the plan - that she was eventually going to turn eighteen and be wed to a stranger. Her mother had always talked positively about it as she was growing up, and was looking forward to the day that her daughter would become a beautiful bride. Although, once Ja-yeon had unfortunately passed away, Ye-in had somewhat completely forgotten about the plan - along with her mother's future plans for her. However, once her father had been trying for so long to bring the girl back, the plan was brought up again. And it hit Ye-in quite very much. The one day that she didn't want to live was soon to come. And she was not looking forward to it.

Biography
Born on November the twentieth in Alfaria was a young baby, weighing six pounds and four ounces, named Pyeong Ye-in to her parents, Pyeong Gi-yeol and Pyeong Ja-yeon. Being their first born child, they had a huge celebration on the birth of their new born baby girl. The news hit the town instantly and a huge party was arranged and Ye-in was introduced to the fellow family and regular townies that wished them all the best. Despite the couple wanting a baby boy as their first child, they were estatic with Ye-in either way.

Ja-yeon took very well care of Ye-in, playing dress-up and teaching her the necessities a young princess should know. It wasn't long after that Ye-in was enrolled into a private school that her mother had chosen for her. Here, she met her only best friend, So Yong-tae. The kids being only five and six, had been arguing over a lollypop in which the teacher had given to Ye-in for being a great student. However, all that the argument had resulted in was a timeout after another child was injured in the face after the two had accidentally thrown the lollypop into the air. Thus the start of a strange friendship. Yong-tae was eventually introduced to Ye-in's parents, and it wasn't very long before the two become inseparable despite their constant bickering.

It was quite some time before Ye-in's little brother, Pyeong In-seok, was born - separating the two by eleven years difference. However, with a new miracle being born, the family sufferance a great loss. Unfortunately, Ja-yeon died due to maternal death yet In-seok continued to live on as healthy as can be. It was as though a part of Ye-in had been taken away from her all of a sudden. All the confused eleven year old could do was rely on her best friend. With nobody to blame, the family of three mourned over the death of the loving mother and wife; the father being more traumatised than ever and put in a position that will change his life forever. Having to look after his dear children. But with not much experience of taking care of two children; nurses and maids were hired to look after the prince and princess. And as time passed, Ye-in changed.

No longer was she the outgoing girl, but instead she had grown quieter, building a wall up and separating herself from everybody, including Yong-tae who she no longer spent time with as he moved to live in Osmurg without a reason. Her father didn't notice the signs as she began to mix with the wrong crowd and acting rebellious. But once she'd suddenly dyed her hair blonde at the age of sixteen, she opened his eyes. And he knew his daughter was slowly becoming a wreck. Enter eighteen year old Do Ji-yoon, the reason for her sudden change in persona.

He was bad. He smoked. He drove too fast for his own good. He didn't care because no one taught him how to. But when he laid eyes on Ye-in, he wanted her. And he got her. He taught her how to be free and breathe again. But, it only lasted for a year and a half before her father ended all connections between the two. And the only possible way that he managed to do was by bringing up Ja-yeon. Her mother would not have wanted for her daughter to fall into the wrong crowd, making mistakes and upsetting her family. It hit Ye-in hard as she stared into the mirror, looking at what used to be a perfect princess, but now a damaged girl.

Though with the help of her maids, Ye-in was back up on her feet in no time. Despite the fact that it took her some time to get everything back together, she managed it. She continued her photoshoots as she did before, and distracted herself with a pet puppy in which her dad had bought her, naming her Yeonie, a nickname of her mother's name.
-

Yeah. She's smiling.
But don't let that fool you.
Look into her eyes. She's breaking inside.

Personality

Sumiko is a very carefree girl that loves her people and country. The only thing she may love more is food. Usually she is friendly, easily embarrassed, and very clumsy. Often stumbling over her words when excited she doesn't seem like she would be cut out for politics. Yet, she is also very smart. She may not be a genius but she is quick to put the dots together. However, in the past has been slow to step forward and seem's slow to attempt to command attention.
When one gets to know her they will find that Sumiko is very loyal, willing to do anything for her people and friends, and also very kind. She often watches her siblings in place of their nannies despite being driven crazy by them. She enjoys playing all kinds of games and is very active. Running around often. She loves being outside and is usually her most confident among the tall grass and trees of her country.

Biography

Sumiko is the eldest child of queen Ming-na and King Isamu. Born a month early on a cool spring day as a surprise to her parents. Growing up she spent much of her time outside, gardening with her mother or playing with her nanny. When inside she could be found in the kitchen, at first stealing snacks and then helping out. As she grew she began spending more time cooking and eating and less time being active. This caused her to get a weight problem and when she entered middle school she became the victim of bullying. Her real identity was kept secret so she could have a normal school experience and she didn't tell her parents as she didn't want to use her status for special treatment.
She became withdrawn and quit cooking. Beginning to get self conscious. Concerned her parents investigated and when they found out decided to help their daughter. They didn't stop the bullying but instead set out on getting her confidence higher. So it wouldn't matter what others said. They enrolled her in self defense classes and she found herself being more active then she had in years. By the time she entered high school her parents plan had worked, somewhat. She no longer allowed herself to be bullied but was still hesitant to draw attention to herself. However, with time she managed to get past it enough to make some friends. Eventually telling them her identity. They enjoyed teasing her and having fun at the fact that no one else knew who she was.
After that high school seemed to fly by fast and before she knew it Sumiko found herself about to meet her future husband.

| Beautiful Tragedy

weight | 114 lbs / 51.75 kg
height | 5’4” / 166 cm
eyes | dark brown, occasionally can be seen wearing colored contacts. however she does need prescription contacts because she used to wear glasses, and now only wears glasses at night and in the morning.
hair | her hair is naturally a very dark brown color. however she often finds herself coloring it, not liking the generic brown color. the length often varies, as in high school she cut her beautiful hair which easily reached past her bust line. she sported a bob for a while before finally deciding to grow it out. it is now currently past shoulder length and is a mix of natural brown colors. it is very soft and compliments her already ethereal appearance greatly.

scars | has a scar by her right eye. it is mostly faded and is only noticeable in winter when she gets paler. the scar is around an inch long and happened when she was twelve years old.
mods | she has multiple ear piercings but doesn't always wear them since her mom doesn't like her wearing too many.
features | she has a beauty mark below her bottom lip on the left side

style | her style is something a bit different than most girls. instead of wearing skirts and dresses constantly, she prefers sweats or jeans and a comfortable oversized hoodie. she tends to wear casual clothing and likes to wear clothes that won’t be uncomfortable if she falls asleep in. you will often find her changing in boyish looking clothes on a day to day basis, as they are far more comfortable than the clothes her mom wants her to sport.

a certain darkness is needed to see the stars above...

how does one begin to describe dasom? with her loud laugh, beautiful smile, small habit of hitting those next to her when embarrassed or cracking up from laughing. i suppose you would describe her as a light that never goes out. a brightness that will keep you from getting lost in the dark. she is hope. she is the person who encourages you to be who you truly are, without fear of being rejected. she is gentle and kind and the type of person you will fall in love with. not strictly romantically, but in a platonic way as well. she is just perfect. that's how you describe her right? well, not exactly.

in reality dasom is not as perfect and lady-like as she often appears. around her family or in front of the press she is the perfect princess, doing what her mother taught her, despite not agreeing with it. however behind closed doors, away from her family and cameras, she is someone very unique. for starters many people notice how violent she tends to be. not that she just goes up to someone and picks a fight with them. no. rather it's she tends to hit people when she gets embarrassed or when she finds something really humorous. she only really does this with people she's close to, and it's not like she's hitting you very hard. she doesn't want to hurt you, just show her emotions a bit more. even though this habit only comes out around those close to her, dasom is still very friendly. she is very outgoing and tends to attract attention wherever she is from her fun and slightly rowdy behavior.

dasom is considered incredibly tomboyish. from her rowdy behavior, clothing style, and love for video games that mostly boys play, she's certainly not as princess like as you would assume. she tends to voice her opinion whenever she deems fit and doesn't back down easily. she's incredibly strong willed and stubborn, hating to lose arguments as she feels as if she's relatively weaker to them. she has a strong sense of pride and doesn't like when it is damaged. a bit hotheaded and rash, dasom tends to get riled up a lot. this can be over the simple teasing she gets due to her size or her boyish personality. usually she is able to laugh teasing off, however when she's in a bad mood, it bothers her a lot. when she is upset, most of the time she will storm off as she doesn't enjoy fighting with people close to her as she tends to hate apologizing.

very independent, dasom prefers doing things on her own. she doesn't like it when she gets the 'princess treatment', especially from guys. since she is able to relatively take care of herself, she hates it when boys and other people think they have to protect her. dasom is known for getting into trouble, especially when her mother isn't around to keep her behaving. because of this, people often have to watch over her, much to her annoyance. she really hates when she has 'babysitters' and often tries to ditch them by running off. another habit of dasom's that people have to watch out for. her adventurous spirit causes her to run off and explore lots of places, without even telling anyone.

while dasom is as cute as a puppy, with her adorable button nose and big eyes, she has a hard time acting cute. she finds it embarrassing and awkward, leading to very awkward aegyo. she doesn't really know what to do in situations that require her to be cute or precious, so she tends to just do whatever. though dasom has natural cute moments that she misses sometimes. for example, when she eats (as she is a glutton and tends to eat all the time), you can very easily tell how the food tastes. if it's good her eyes will widen and she will smile while eating, not really noticing it. however if it isn't good, dasom's opinion is very noticeable. she scrunches up her nose (remember she doesn't notice these quirks) and sort of picks at her food. many times she will lie and say the food is good (especially if it was her mother in law's cooking) however this quirk gives her away. in the morning she is very clingy as it takes forever to wake her up. so often times you will have to deal with a hungry, half asleep dasom that wants to do nothing more than cuddle.

her thoughts are stars which can't turn into constellations

on june ninth, a healthy baby girl was born. it was beautiful. magical even. a proud mother and father, holding their baby for the first time, the kingdom celebrating the birth of their princess. it was officially the start of the family everyone loved. everyone loved the royals, they were kind, beautiful, perfect, yet human all at the same time. they were everything everyone wanted. they were what made atrya even more magical and beautiful. they took care of the country, along with their first child and heir. everything was untouchable and perfect. but don't people tell you never to judge a book by it's cover? never to make assumptions about something you know nothing about? of course the royal family was perfect to the public, to the world. they had to be perfect. there was no way that they could still be respected if they showed anything but perfection.

the family was anything but perfect. dasom was born into a dangerous world. a world filled with pain, lies, betrayal, hatred, and worst of all, a life she'd never be able to escape from. growing up, the girl was a happy child. from the beginning she was known as quite the beauty, often being praised for her natural beauty which she had inherited from her mother, bitna. the pair were inseparable. wherever dasom was, her mother was right next to her, coaching her to be a leader, a queen. however something was odd about the child. she was often more interested in spending endless hours outside in the gardens, laying in the middle of the rose maze, staring up at the darkening sky. dasom wasn't what bitna wanted in a daughter. she was the opposite. constantly skipping lessons, actin stubbornly, refusing to wake up, playing with boys during recess rather than playing dolls with the other girls. she was everything bitna frowned upon.

despite having a young and handsome son to fawn over, bitna's pointed and narcissistic views were pointed at the one imperfection. the girl who kept her hair short and didn't wear dresses without at least running away from the maids once. even though do-young never experienced his mother's ugly side, he knew that his older sister struggled a lot, and often found himself helping her. mostly he would hide his older sister from the maids and his mother, pointing them in another direction so dasom didn't have to suffer through another god awful lesson. this continued until she was around twelve years old. the girl obviously could really only rely on her younger brother as her mother was more concerned about the family's image than really seeing how her daughter was struggling, and her father, well he was checking the estate and finding meetings more interesting than his family as well. 'they have to run the country dasom-ah. don't be angry at them'

by the time she was twelve, dasom was facing a rather difficult time. she had obviously started to change from a lanky tomboyish princess into, well an actual princess, however she was still skinny and awkward compared to the other girls in her class. the other daughters of nobles used to tease the girl behind her back. it wasn't fun. in fact dasom had even accidentally been pushed during a p.e game which resulted her into the corner of a wall, cutting open her flesh near her eye, which caused big problems for the school. after that dasom was pulled out of her private school and was taught at home, continuing her studies there. time passed slowly and she lost herself in the endless dresses, the countless etiquette lessons, history of atrya stories, everything was a blur. do-young was always with his friends since he was the picture perfect son bitna always wanted, whereas his sister was quite the opposite. however by her freshman year of high school, the girl decided to come up with a plan. she would play her mother's dress up game and played pretty princess.

in high school, dasom returned to a private academy and boy had she changed. her hair was still cut short, but longer than usual, and was softly colored an elegant shade of brown. she wore her girlish clothes, some makeup, perfume. she didn't participate in sports, ate small portions, it was all what was expected of a princess. her popularity naturally was high just due to her rank, but also because many boys had a hard time resisting her. dasom would go on dates more often than not. but they were all the same. guys who thought about becoming famous for dating the princess of their country. however dating many guys wasn't the only thing that dasom found out about. throughout her childhood, for as long as she could remember, her father was rarely there. he would kiss her forehead every morning before he left to check out estate or go to a meeting. and every night he'd kiss her forehead before going to bed himself. like clockwork it never failed. until high school.

dasom found herself bumping into her father chang-seop practically everywhere. even in the gardens she'd run into him, quite literally, while on the phone talking to someone. it was odd, to suddenly have her father in her life. but with bitna's mind finally being able to be at ease since her daughter was acting like a princess, dasom decided not to question the strange occurrence. she found herself spending time with her whole family, asking them to do whatever she could find. though all good things must come to an end. this end was just more damaging than anyone had anticipated. in her junior year of high school, during spring break, dasom stumbled upon a box in the vacation house attic. it sparked her curiosity and so she began to look through it. she found letter after letter, all addressed to her father, however it was a handwriting she had never seen before. it was signed with a kiss, quite literally, a kiss mark left behind on the paper after each letter ended.

it wasn't until that dasom began looking around the house, while she was the only one there, that she found a recent letter. she read the letter and was shocked to see that there was a location listed on the back of the letter. so she decided to go to the said location and what she saw mortified her. her father, for years, had been cheating on bitna, dasom's mother, with a girl who looked no older than a sophomore in college. dasom didn't say anything until her father attempted to sneak into the vacation house undetected, but his daughter caught him red handed. she was horrified to discover that the woman had been with her father for years. after both father and daughter spoke, dasom managed to convince her father to end the affair with the woman, and he promised he did.

life went on like usual. bitna received the family she wanted, chang-seop was able to keep his affair a secret, do-young was growing up nicely, however dasom was struggling. she was hiding a secret from her mother, from her country. she was pretending to be someone she wasn’t. it was suffocating and tiring. many times the youth found herself almost telling her everything. but when she saw how happy her mother finally was, dasom decided against it. having her own secrets, along with her father’s, she buried them deep inside, hoping that she’d never have to speak of them again. though secrets have a habit of revealing themselves when you least expect it...

moon dust in her lungs and stars in her eyes

opinions | from the start dasom knew about the arranged marriage that would soon become her future. her mother wanted to start prepping her not only to be a ruler, but also the perfect bride. her opinion on the matter is now rather negative. as she is happily in a relationship with minhyuk, she doesn't want to give him up for a prince that she shouldn't even be marrying. though she wants to escape this arrangement, even thinking about eloping with minhyuk to do so, she knows that the consequences will be inevitable. dasom wishes that there was another way to keep peace between the countries instead of being forced to marry a prince who she doesn't love.
extra information | cho minhyuk is the boyfriend of dasom. the pair met in her sophomore year of high school. at first they started off as good friends, his father being of high rank in the military, meaning that dasom's parents were fine with her hanging out with minhyuk. for a year they were friends, but then they began to date. of course knowing her mother, she'd freak out that it wasn't someone of high nobility that her daughter was dating, so dasom and minhyuk agreed to keep it a secret. they are still currently dating, however minhyuk was moved to another country, apparently for business purposes, but dasom thinks it has something to do with him wanting to be part of the military.
My heart hurts and your words are more painful and tiring than a meteorite crashing to Earth... Yet I believe that the moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Created by nothing but imperfections.

THE SMALLEST OF HIS ACTIONS;
p e r s o n a
A born sweetheart, Joo-Hwan is known for being one of Beflaurus’s prized gentlemen. He is definitely a romantic, and is pretty sentimental. Not only is he kind to women and men alike, the prince is talented in the culinary arts, as well. His “flower boy” image is only enhanced by his passion for cooking, or rather, passion for anything. Once Joo-Hwan starts liking something, it is hard for him to detach himself. He immerses himself totally, and can be quite a perfectionist when it comes to his work. This can be deemed one of his negative traits, as it is taxing for him to let go of things… or people. In short, Joo-Hwan is, unfortunately, too dependent.

Moreover, Joo-Hwan is known for being quite fond of humor, his lighthearted nature making him open to pranks and jokes. He is also quick to help others, and finds himself feeling guilty if he is not there to support those in need. However, this does not mean that he is a pushover; Joo-Hwan knows where to draw the line, and puts his family and loved ones above all.

Not only that, though he is generally laid-back and lovable, Joo-Hwan can be quite frightening when angered. In fact, when furious, it seems as if he is a different person altogether. He becomes violent, tough, and loses his rationality; at that point, he is almost the exact opposite of himself. It seems that this “Dark Joo-Hwan” only appears when something (or someone) is being hurt or taken from him. His jealousy gets the better of him, and he acts on his emotions. Not many people know his secret side, except his family members, who have seen it firsthand.

WAS UNPREDICTABLE;
b i o
Joo-Hwan was born to a family of five, with a strict mother, a meek father, and two loud sisters. Interestingly, his family dynamic was always such that the women took the lead, their decisions being the ones everyone would turn to in times of calamity. This is partially because the king’s father (Joo-Hwan’s grandfather) deemed the king unfit to rule due to his gentle but cowardly nature. His grandfather quickly married Song Kwang-Jeong off to an affluent, assertive woman from a neighboring town.

This woman, named Lee Bo-Ra, was well-known in the heart of Beflaurus for her cunning and business tactics. She was the top career-woman of her day, and thus raised her children to be strong like her. This was all in hopes that her children would someday carry out her plan for establishing high-end restaurant chains to increase revenue. Unfortunately for her, it seemed that Joo-Hwan’s nature was just as gentle as his father’s, albeit lacking the cowardice. This meant that Joo-Hwan never had interest in being a part of her plan, namely because he knew Beflaurus’s charm to be its homely nature. By franchising everything, Joo-Hwan suspected that the country’s tourism would go to ruin. In Bo-Ra’s eyes, however, it was simply him being just like her husband.

Because of these “weaknesses”, Bo-Ra and his sisters continuously torment Joo-Hwan for his inability to “be a man. In other words, as much as he tried to prove himself, the young prince received no warmth from the women in his life. It didn’t help that the king was too occupied with his own affairs to care for the lack of attention his son was receiving. In the end, the insecurities grew into him relying on his mother’s every word, like a puppet in her show. Whether she was right or not, Joo-Hwan knew he had to accept her decisions to be acknowledged. While this has saved him trouble most of the time, his mother is still quick to snap when things do not go her way. It is only understandable that his “dark” side fostered in response to the fear of disappointing her. In fact, “Dark Joo-Hwan” is almost a nightmarish version of what Bo-Ra always wanted him to be…

Nevertheless, much of Joo-Hwan’s life was not always gloomy and clouded. In middle school, the young prince formed an unforgettable bond with classmate Tae Kwang-Sik and upperclassman Geun Na-Ra. Kwang-Sik, the rebellious prankster, and Na-Ra, the school “goddess”, were the only two who didn’t judge Joo-Hwan by his gentle image, and accepted him as what he is: a man. With Na-Ra, however, Joo-Hwan felt something incredibly special. It was like love at first sight for him, but of course, the more they talked, the more he found himself falling for her. She was sweet and graceful, in addition to being one of his number one confidantes.

By high school, Joo-Hwan’s “softie” image had transformed into that of a “romantic”. He became immensely popular among girls, boys, and the press. However, the only woman whose heart was yet to be his was Na-Ra. Though Kwang-Sik always secretly supported the two, both he and Joo-Hwan realized by his twentieth birthday that her heart was elsewhere. At the age of twenty-two, Na-Ra was already planning to get married to a man for whom she had mutual love for. Her secret romance was the real reason why she had never once looked Joo-Hwan’s way, at least, that’s what she told him…

But, whatever the reason, it didn't matter. His life was crumbling down, his heart ripped to shreds. In such desperate circumstances, the only way to mend it was to...?!
YET BEAUTIFUL AND GRACEFUL;
o t h e r
Evidently, Joo-Hwan is torn when the plan is first revealed to him. By now, he knows that Na-Ra's heart taken, but also feels guilt and wants to stay loyal to her. However, the arranged marriages may be just what he needs to make his first love reciprocate his affections...

person and background; park hyun was born on december 27th. park hyun can be labeled as a stereotypical businessman on the outside. park hyun is the eldest son of three children. his parents were and still are strict towards their children, but are more strict towards hyun because he's the eldest, heir of the crown, and well-their child. his younger siblings are quite the true business people the business world needs. they are strict on stocks and their education. hyun on the other hand, is quite the opposite on the outside. hyun can be assumed as serious, doesn't really crack a smile in most occasions, and deliberate. hyun has quite the serious face to the public. many people outside of osmurg don't know the true hyun or his "other" side.

once you get to meet hyun, you'll notice that he's playful and and innocent. hyun can be compared to a puppy; cute, innocent, and restless. but it's difficult for hyun to show that side of him because he has been hiding himself from his family and the public.

hyun is kind and humors. he's not afraid of cracking a dad joke or even a play on words. hyun is usually found outside, due to the fact that his father forces him to attend stock and business meetings as training. hyun has a love for nature and especially animals. especially because forests and other biomes are quite rare in osmurg. hyun enjoys the city life and skyscrapers, but he wishes to experience camping or even having a picnic.

hyun is quite the romantic. hyun is that one man who knows how to treat a girl right. he'll buy chocolate and even watch a chick flick for females if he had the chance. hyun isn't afraid to stand up for the one he's in love with. he'll always be their superhero and knight in shining armor. hyun was taught to focus on business and money, not partying or even dating. dating is basically a sin in the park family, so he and siblings must hide their relationships with their parents, father in particular.

during high school, hyun was ranked first in his class. due to the school being private and children born into children silver spoon families, it was quite easy for hyun to be ranked first. hyun's high school career was quite labeled as the "rich kid" and the "heart throb" hyun's good looks couldn't help but be noticed by the girl population. hyun was still seen as a cold person, but was manly, as some people would describe him as. hyun didn't notice many girls in his school because he didn't really have an interest in them. they were your typical high school girls who had a major crush on you. they were all the same to hyun. except one girl, kim soo jung. soo jung was a year yonger than hyun. classes in his private high school were segregated and didn't interact much. they first saw each other at a business party her father hosted to announce his new upcoming branch of his main company. it was kind of a romeo and juliet scenario, but their families didn't hate each other and neither one of them died, but they could never be together. hyun and soo jung's relationship mostly consisted of emailing or video chatting with each other. they met a few times during their time together, but it was rare.

soo jung claimed that she has fallen in love with someone in her class, and has broken up with hyun through text after a year of being together. hyun and soo jung haven't spoken since their break up. hyun tries not to think of that time, especially because he has fallen to severe depression after the breakup. no one was there to help hyun because his parents would flip their home upside down and his siblings wouldn't be much of help either.

insert stuff?
tumblr_nsu3clIqXe1rngqpbo1_400.gif

hyun wouldn't mind an arranged marriage because his parents have planned every aspect of his life. it's been drilled into his head that it's his fate. he knew from the start that soo jung and him could never be together, despite the deep connection he thought they had. he only hopes that love can sprout after the wedding.

personality |
cheeky and generally rude, yeong hee's personality is far from a princess'. she's known to start fights in the blink of the eye, just at the slightest glance towards her. many fear the girl's strength and try to avoid her, and due to this, she has very little to no friends. not a lot of her family members enjoy her presence either- when they're being recorded for television they have to put on a front to make it seem like nothing's wrong. but in reality, there's a lot going on on inside for her. yeong hee is actually quite selfish and does not take any interest in what other people have to say. she is a very perverted person and can sometimes make that clear when speaking to someone she's interested in. she has a large amount of the same manners that a boy would and is in no way feminine.

yeong hee is extremely intelligent and witty, expected from the princess of graile. the girl can solve very complicated mathematical equations in a matter of minutes, and is a very talented writer. she does not like to share any of her works, though, and is overall a very secretive person when it comes to her personal possessions and what her hobbies are. attending events is a pain for her, she constantly has her brown eyes fixated on the clock, wondering when it's time to leave and go home so she can either exercise or practice her cooking skills. overall, yeong hee can be very loyal to the people she chooses- but when being forced to do something, she will resort to violence. this is why putting her in this programme was
not a good idea at all.

biography |

on the second of june, 1998, yeong hee was born in a hospital owned by her parents. her father has many diplomas in the sciences and mathematics, whereas her mother is more artistic and has put her free time into playwriting and novels that she publishes under another name. growing up, yeong hee was bullied and pointed out for being a princess, but not acting like one. you may expect from her masculine manner that she hung out with boys, and not the girls, but really she didn't talk to anyone. a reject. up until she enrolled into a private highschool, when she couldn't take the comments and harassment anymore, it was well known that she would resort to violence if anyone dared to make fun of her. yeong hee earned a title as the 'school's bully' through ought the student body, and frequently beat and punched people mercilessly even if they only did something very minor. yeong hee is out of highschool now, but during her time there she managed to be in the top 0.5% of test scores in the country and got a diploma in literature and mathematics. she now receives private therapy for her anger issues, but she doesn't bother to listen to them.

other |
yeong hee thinks the law is B U L L S H I T. why can't she choose someone she's actually in love with, instead of a random prince from another country she doesn't even like? she can't stand being around pretty princesses that sip tea all day long, as well as 'well-mannered princes' that don't actually know how to hold a conversation, and extremely dislikes everyone else taking part in the project.

Personality:
Yoo-ri is a free-spirited, independent, and quick-witted woman who is also hurt and bitter due to having her heart broken by her father in the past. She is also cynical, snarky, and world-weary, making her atypical among stereotypes. She has a very low opinion of men in general since her experiences with them have been mostly negative. Stoic with a hint of sass is a good description for Yoo-ri. She grew up with at least one parent who wasn’t about that feelings life, her father. She doesn’t always reveals her hurts and joys with all the people she knows.

Whether it be music, literature or drugs, Yoo-ri has a habit of strongly wanting to get out of touch with reality, due to the many troubling thing she had seen. In some cases, sensitivity is good. But Yoo-gi is a bit too sensitive for her own good. Words hurt her way more than they should, and she can be left all emotional for days after a dramatic event. You can all too obviously understand her state of mind based on her sketches and drawings. If you use her, trick her or in any way hurt him, don't expect her to forgive you.

She's a master of the arts of holding grudges, and will probably spend an unnecessary amount of her time loathing people. Yoo-ri is one of the most creative minds her family has seen, and unless you're the exact copy of her, you'll never fully understand the kind of ideas that pop up in her head. Every minute of every day is a constant blur of ideas for drawings or adventures.
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Bio:
Born and bred in the kingdom of Wheso, Yoo-ri grew up in one particularly dysfunctional family. Not only was it very plentiful in the amounts of royal favours they could obtain, the relationship between Yoo-ri's biological parents was a mess. They met when Jong-Seok, her father, was studying abroad, and were a little too quick with everything. By the time Jong-Seok was only 29 years old, he had gotten married, bought a beautiful villa, and had given birth to one lovely but disastrous child, Yoo-ri. And as if that was a signal, their relationship began to spiral downwards. It was as if the relationship was on thin ice. But they were both determined to stay with one another.

When the two decided to move apart from each other -though still being married- Yoo-ri was eight. Around this time, she wasn't even merely interested in her family's customs. She didn't like any of the technological gifts she was given, or any of the mounds of coding she was given. Her father said that in order to be true to the family, she must learn of the kingdom's customs. She bit her tongue and hid her differences down in her heart for now, being home-schooled since she much preferred to be surrounded by her late family. When the child had grown a bit over fourteen, one day, her mother came to visit her, and they would run around town. Her mum would often get tired very easily. Assuming that she just wasn't fit, she and her father sort of just ignored the situation and continued their lives as any family would do. However, one morning during her summer break, when she was out with her daughter as she usually was, her mother fainted. The young princess screamed for help as one of the nearby guards came over to help the two.

After being rushed to a hospital and treated, it was discovered that she had a very weak hard, which eventually had led to heart failure. She was treated with medications and all sorts of methods, though nothing solved the problem completely. During this time, most of his family was always present, at least his parents. Yoo-ri was always by her side, day and night. His father, however, visited far less, and kept blaming it on work.

Soon enough, it was revealed that he had left town because of stress both at work and at home, and had decided to leave for a while, with no set date for when he would return. He did, despite the request for a divorce, continue to pay for his wife's medical bills. After about a year of going in and out of the hospital, doctors found no solution to the problem. And her mother died a few months later after the news was given. The news of the queen's death had broadcasted everywhere, but the look of hurt on Yoo-ri's face was pure, unlike that of her father's.

During the time Yoo-ri had been in the hospital, her father had had become cold. When she was going through a rough time, both with her mother's sickness and the father's disappearance, he did nothing to make up for it; he had left her in the dark for a long time. After years of her absence from school, any interaction with her father or servants, the princess was forced to marry since she was of age and her father wanted to resign. She wasn't prepared for the news at all, practically screamed at him. HE simply gave a cold stern look as she whimpered back, huffing in annoyance and finally said yes.

Oh how much she was going to regret this...
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Other:
Yoo-ri is deeply opposed to the thought of joining this arrangement. Since her father and her have been very distant over the past 5 years, she hadn't known about a single smidgen of the plan. She much rather stay at home practicing her sketches than doing what her father asks her too. But since she mustn't disobey, she agreed to do so out of force.

LEE, WOOSHIN

PRINCE OF SLEYNIA

8a0167635afaf4a179ba9ff6a9c65acf.jpg
Full name | Lee, Wooshin
Nicknames | Shin
Birth date | September 17th, 1997
Age | 20
Faceclaim. | exsy / sooyoon of royal pirates
Gender | male.
Country | Sleynia
Sexual orientation | undecided.

Parents | Lee, Sungjae [46] & Lee, Soobin [40]
Siblings | 7 other half siblings, all younger.
Other notable (uncles/aunts, etc.) tba.
Relationship status | atm single.
Partner(s) | He's got files on top of files.

APPEARANCE

Shin doesn't really feel like there's nothing he's not disappointed about how he turned out. Although he was a bit sad he stopped growing at 5'8 ft in his first year of high school. He's never had to watch over his weight, always staying between 140 lbs, eating the regular amount of food paired with all the amount of activities he does everyday.

Just like his parents he's got light brown hair but with multiple amounts of dying it has become a faded brown swept off towards the right cut at an ear's length. His eyes have become a more apparent clouded blue getting more closer to a shade of gray. This is due to some of his birth complications, for the most part his vision has always been fuzzy. Without contacts of glasses he could barely see.

Clothing | Shin typically likes wearing comfortable clothes. He doesn't like wearing anything fit and with buttons, if so he'll always leave the first two unopened. He's the type to just wear a slightly baggy t shirt and jeans.

PERSONALITY

If you ask him it's easy to tell he's a curious guy with a ton of interests. Getting to know him he's actually very agreeable and is easy to get along with. There is nothing he dislikes. And whenever someone asks him about his favorite food or whatever he'd always reply anything. He's learned to be indifferent towards the idea of having his own preferences when it comes to trivial things. As he grew up he began to tell himself that he shouldn't be picky about those things and only thought that it was childish. Due to this nature of his he's up for pretty much anything anyone asks for him and rarely is one to get into any arguments. When it comes to making decisions he would always choose the one less troublesome and easiest to deal with afterwards. He just doesn't like to make a big deal or trouble, that's all.

That being said he can easily be someone's reliable best friend or a pushover. He thinks the hardest thing to do is rejecting someone. So he usually ends up taking a bunch of favors along with a bunch of other things to add onto his long to do list. Sometimes he hates himself for being this way. And it's not from how his schedule is always busy. He actually likes keeping himself busy. He enjoys moving around, being relied on, not having a good amount of time to sit down and think. Rather than spending time alone his room for a good nights rest he prefers going out, being surrounded by people, having fun and then passing out. Whenever he faces a problem he would always escape, though not alone. He would always go out to forget about his problems within the comfort of others.

Being the type who likes to surround himself with people Shin is very outgoing and approachable. He's very touchy and likes to keep himself close. He's easily influenced when it comes to getting into new hobbies as well as getting into doing reckless shit. Which might be stupid, but hey, he's always up for a challenge.

BACKSTORY

On September 17th, 1997, Wooshin was born. With only his mother, her personal doctor, and wet nurse around, it was a quiet lonely night with only the sound of his short gasped wails. His mother had told him this every night while he was still young. It was only until the morning of the next day did the king, his father had found out and visited her. Of course it wasn't because his father didn't love them, was what she had always told him.

After all he wasn't expected to be born until two months later, soon making him the eldest among his siblings with his younger sister only a month younger than him. Being born this prematurely, she had told him it was a miracle for him to survive. Though it didn't cost nothing as he was born with his vision impaired and was always physically weak as a child, though as he grew older his body became healthier aside from his allergies and shortness of breath at times.

When he was still a kid he spent most of his time at the castle. His mother would always be there worrying about him and would always keep him on watch with a group of other maids and butlers, as well as a doctor. Although he probably knew she had good intentions, watching his health and being prepared in case an emergency happens, this arrangement had probably made him feel worse. For most of beginning of his elementary years he was home schooled. That all stopped when his father had swept in and took Shin outside of the palace for the first time saying his heir can't be some weak sheltered wuss. He soon become forced to go along with his father in his travels across the country, and eventually to others too.

Gradually his body became more robust from the traveling as well as the possibly pseudo solutions his father had him take or go through. Which included going to a waterfall in Atrya, having to take some drug made in Graile, oh, and his contacts had been manufactured in Wheso, and he might have been tricked into eating some delicacy made of some animal's heart in Beflaurus. Fun times. However by the time he was 16 it was decided between his mother it would be better for him to stay within the country for high school to make connections with other royalty and the people of the country.

During his first actual session of compulsory education he knew it was not meant to be. Sitting inside a classroom not being able to do anything but possibly listen to the teacher's lecture made him feel restless. Towards the end he's barely attended any classes. He's spent most of his school days playing hooky and taking part in his own interests and has been labeled as a carefree prince by everyone in the country.
OTHER
There wasn't a day where his mother intentionally slipped out this arrangement. In all honesty he's rather been looking forward to it. Of course he's not expecting much romantically, though it would be nice if they had a friendly relationship. He doesn't want to hold his partner down either and would pretty much have her own space and vice versa. Having a lover or two wouldn't matter to him either. What he hopes that this bond, that only the two of them could have together will lead them to be able to trust in each other more so than a normal relationship.

eyes | han-bin has the traditional dark brown korean colored eyes, however occasionally he will wear hazel or light brown contacts just to change it up. his eye shape itself is a bit interesting. instead of having the usual smaller and more angular eyes, han-bin has wide almond shaped eyes with the usual monolid. sometimes when he goes to events his stylist will occasionally give him a crease for double eyelids. his eyelashes are relatively long and are considered to be a good asset to his eyes as they make them look more open and bright.

hair | his hair has been dyed a dark brown with an almost reddish brown highlight to it. it's pretty short, however it's thick and messy, often wavy or curly when he doesn't straighten it. his bangs are easily past his eyes and often tend to fall in front of his eyes. he rarely really styles his hair, however it will occasionally be straightened it. he has no desire to dye it again, as the only other color he would dye it would be a lighter brown or black color.

features | known for his large almond shaped eyes, his appearance is rather unique in general. while he doesn't sport any tattoos or piercings, his features themselves are known to attract attention. he has a rather small and cute nose, usually getting commented on. various freckles can be found on han-bin's body, one found on his right earlobe. and the most known freckles are on the right side of his nose. these three freckles stagger up his nose, giving a unique flare. he has various scars scattered across his body, but most of them are very small and not too noticeable.

clothing | han-bin is one of the most well dressed people you will meet. he has always enjoyed clothes, and his sense of style shows this off. his style can range of business to casual, however it's still very well put together and doesn't look like it was inexpensive. from the way he dresses you can tell that he is from nobility. he really looks good in anything, not really having a specific color scheme that he follows. however there are times when he really wants to wear very casual clothes that most people would wear. this usually only happens on dates occasionally.

Han-bin is everything a prince should be. He’s very respectful, a total gentleman, very romantic, strong willed, protective, intelligent, and has a natural leader quality about him. Some would say he was always destined to be someone of power. Well he’s the heir, and that’s a lot of power right there. Being a prince comes with a lot of responsibilities, and Han-bin handles them very well. He’s never out of character whenever he’s in the public’s eye. He is the prince that everyone wants and loves. How could you not? He doesn’t get into trouble, rarely do you find him drinking, he appears to always be volunteering, and he’s an all-round good guy. People find it hard to dislike him. In a world full of pain and sadness, he’s someone they can always count on to lift them out of the darkness and into the light.

When you push past the prince like exterior, Han-bin is someone who will still make you feel like he’s above you. It’s not really because he’s cocky, it’s rather just how confident he is in himself, it just makes people feel a bit inferior to him. He’s a bit dense and doesn’t know how to blend in with the crowd. He sticks out like a sore thumb because of his fashion sense and he doesn’t understand why. Living in a country that is centered around creating stars, like idols and actors, Han-bin is used to the life as a, well celebrity. It’s difficult for him to lower his standards or pride to accommodate the lifestyle of regular people. This leads to Han-bin appearing cocky and very full of himself because he accidentally acts insensitive to those of a lower status.

Despite him seeming to be insensitive or cocky, people can easily see how incredibly awkward Han-bin is. Even though he is normally very confident and friendly with everyone, being naturally outgoing, he is very very awkward. He doesn’t really know how to deal with a lot of emotions, nor does he know how to deal with situations when he’s flustered. This surprisingly happens a lot. Han-bin hates compliments. This is something he’s always hated, it embarrasses him beyond belief and he denies them with every ounce of his soul. He doesn’t like them because he feels like he’s getting complimented for no reason, or because people feel obligated to compliment him. He especially doesn’t like his looks being complimented.

Han-bin is a bit of a casanova, as his mother always likes him being in relationships with the daughters of notables. Even though he seems to be in relationships a lot, he isn’t a player. He is known for being a total romantic, often doing things to make his girlfriend’s heart melt instantly. He gets this from his romantic mother. This is a good quality to have as he never gets into scandals because he is such a good boyfriend. Of course it’s not always easy dating a prince. Han-bin does come with his baggage and it’s difficult dating someone who has to run a country. He can’t always go out on dates and sometimes it’s too stressful for him to balance his personal life and royal life.

Han-bin really isn't the type to get angry, or show his negative side. He tends to keep those emotions bottled up in order for those around him to be spared the trouble it'd cause. Since he strongly believes that life is too short to be angry, he tries to be positive and not get angry. However there are times when he does and like most, it's not fun. He is a very protective person by nature and the quickest way to upset him or get him angry is to start picking on someone he cares deeply about. When this happens, Han-bin can either act very aggressively and showcase his anger right then and there, or it can be rather reserved and taunting like, in order to get the negative attention on him rather than his loved one. Though in high school, there were a few times when he would get into fights because of people trying to anger the 'perfect prince'. But in all honesty, Han-bin doesn't mess around.

huijun in the public eye, out in the open where all eyes are on him and huijun in private, behind closed doors and safe in the confines of various place are two different people. since he was young huijun's parents have made it their priority to make sure their son's reputation and image was a clean slate along with their own. some say the royal family of osmurg are simply good-hearted people who do no wrong like the public says, while others say the riches of the family protect them from the bad deeds they do when no one's looking, but no one truly knows.

huijun's deposit is just what'd you expect -- princely. carrying himself with a sense of dignity and pride; it's often when in the presence of the prince, he expels regality. though not letting his status get in the way of being a gentleman, huijun is polite and respectful. taking others into consideration when making decisions, or simply trying to live a normal life when not preforming duties vital to the kingdom. he's often said in public that being a gentleman never ends anywhere or at any time rather it begins and keeps going; everlasting -- it costs you nothing to be courteous towards others.

offering a sense of hospitality, huijun tries to make sure anyone new he meets feels welcomed and involved, often showing disdain towards others who's objective is to seclude people. stranger or not, as a prince huijun makes it his priority to make you feel at home and show that he cares about your well being even if in reality he doesn't, but was taught that in the eye of the public to suppress all negative feelings towards others because there's always someone watching even when you think there isn't, so it's often you'll see a smile adorning his face in pictures taken of him, but not all of them are genuine, or rather none of them are.

but nothing is as it ever seems, and the sad reality of things is that there's always a catch. when you hear stories from other people who've met huijun and describe him as if he's a god you'd be surprised at how far off they can be. people close to the prince, often roll their eyes when hearing the stories of delusional girls who gush about the prince and how perfect he was when they met him. in all honesty, treating you like family is not something that huijun immediately would do when meeting you for the first time.

huijun can be intimidating and cold, taking his time to observe newcomers and get a feel for them. he goes off vibes and the way you carry yourself; first impressions are everything when it comes to huijun as it determines how your relationship will go with him. he doesn't tolerate those he deems untrustworthy, and show signs of being deceitful for a bad cause. he won't put up with it, nor take time in his life to deal with someone who refuses to fix their behavior for the better good. incredibly reserved, huijun can come off as cold and aloof. looking disinterested at times, and not being as open as others.

as cliche as it sounds, he's scared to open up to new people. terrified to get attached a g a i n, to l o s e another, to get feelings only for them to turn out to be useless in the end, as if spending time with them, and taking time away to be doing more important things to get close to them only for something to happen that'll ruin it all. so he stays closed up, and knitted together. he desires no savior, because he doesn't need any saving. he desires no need to find another, because he's all he has and that's all he could ever need. or at least, that's what he's been trying to get himself to believe.

towards friends, huijun can be completely different. those he considers friends have earned his trust completely and he's deemed them important therefore they instantly have become his everything, and his everything is something he plans to protect for till the day he dies. he's slightly affectionate towards them if they don't mind affection, respecting the wishes of those who doesn't and has no problem keeping his hands to himself. when it comes to his friends, huijun finds no need to hide things from them like he does with others. he has no problem telling them exactly how he feels, while with others who haven't earned the title of his friend, he'll sugarcoat. selfless, huijun cares deeply for his friends and the way they feel. the whole, 'you mess with my friend then you're messing with me' is definitely something that applies to huijun due to his protectiveness.

the confrontational type, when it comes to his friends he has no chill. being rational not always on his mind and at times he needs a reality check due to his impulsiveness of not always thinking things through and ignoring gut feelings when he knows better. a little devious, huijun can be playful towards certain people. finding pranks, whether it's watching them unfold or planning one is something enjoyable to him. not a fan of awkward atmosphere's, at times huijun can be a bit childish not necessarily acting his age all the time. his constant complaining and whiny is an example when things don't do his way is an example, or how dramatic he can be at times are prime examples of this but he knows when to tone it down and only acts childish in the appropriate place.

not the calmest of them all, angering huijun is an easy to thing but unlike some, he hides his anger because that's what he was taught. others may show it by getting violent or acting a certain way, while huijun may suppress it, and act as if he's fine until he's left alone in solitude -- alone with only his thoughts and mind filled with possibilities and what if's rather than answers. being a prince has definitely messed with huijun's self esteem, he's grown a slight ego over the years and though he doesn't feel superior to others, at least not completely, he has major faith in his abilities and can overestimate himself at times rather than underestimate. often ending horribly and embarrassing huijin, but it's never stopped his ego from growing every now and then, because he's so great you know?

huijun more often than not, is in a good mood despite his easily-angered nature. it's not a total common occurrence to randomly walk in on him glaring at someone, or gritting his teeth out of annoyance. in fact he usually displays himself as pretty calm but just a little bit of the dramatic side, usually to lighten the atmosphere especially if it seems a bit dark and dreadful. when speaking to huijun, it's a good thing to note that he may let out sounds in response to things you stay in return for actual words at times. occasionally responding with a simply grunt in agreement or acknowledgement. or letting out mm's and hmm's before responding.
history
the day was february 14th, 1997; valentine's day. the day of love and affection, the day where women in korea showed that certain man that they cared or rather they were interested -- by showering them with affection and chocolate but it was also the day that a certain noble was born.

the sun was shinning proudly, high and mighty in the sky while clouds were sparse in the bright blue skies, as if the sun scared them off. the day of february 14th was awfully too nice and bright, considering the awful event that happened in the country of osmurg a few days prior; the death of the former king of osmurg was tragic and plagued the country with grief and remorse. the residents of osmurg sent their wishes to the royal family who seemingly took a break from their duties to mourn over the loss. yet something about today, seemed like it was going to be a different. like a new beginning of some sort.

the king and queen, sangcheol and mirae sat in the comfort of each other's presence in silence. wrapped up in each other's arms not bothering to say a word to each other, their presence expressing more than words could ever say. mirae attempted to give her dear husband chocolates that she'd bought earlier the day moments before, but he simply grunted in response, the thought of valentine's day nor the idea of eating chocolate not enough to lift his spirits much to mirae's dismay who simply wished for her husband to return to his high spirits, and though it happened, it surely didn't happen the way that mirae had wished as in the next moment she felt, it. the baby was coming, and he was coming now.

hours passed filled with screaming, tears and tight hand holding, that they finally heard it amidst the chaos -- high pitched cries of a baby. the sounds of the crying filled the room, way louder than the streets of sleynia at night could ever be. oxygen filled it's lungs, weighing them down with the pressure of it as the baby grasped it's tiny little fingers around its savior's finger; they've saved many just like you, wearing a translucent coat, you're just like the others they've saved, adding money to their paycheck.

tears of joy streamed down the faces of those that gathered around to see, some holding each other tightly in celebration of the new addition to the royal family of osmurg while others excitedly jumped up and down. while the king and queen stared at their child, their beloved, their everything, with the utmost adoration and love in their eyes. it was from that day on that they swore to keep their child the happiest in the world, to protect and shield them from the dangers of the world that it possessed. they vowed to love and bathe the baby in anything it desired as long as they lived and only to give them the best of the best. a spoiled child it would be.

later on they decided on the name huijun. hui meaning love and jun meaning talented, capable; handsome. it was only fitting because he was born on february 14th, the day of love and the couple believed that he would be capable, talented and handsome. he was osmurg's prince after all. the news of the new addition to the family traveled fast through the town of osmurg and into the neighboring countries, papers of the family's child quickly being published as they threw a celebration days later for the baby. allowing family, friends and certain townies into the party to come and meet the prince, who'd eventually be ruling as king alongside his queen who'd be his wife in the arranged marriage that was planned.

growing up, huijun was bathed in the utmost love and luxury, a silver spoon indeed was in his mouth since the moment he was born -- benefits of being the prince of osmurg at it's best. when it came to teaching huijun the necessities of royalty and the responsibilities that he'd face in his future, he hadn't been too ecstatic about it --finding himself in the wilderness finding frogs was a lot more fun than ruling a kingdom was from what he decided to listen, but he knew better than to complain about it and soon he found himself enrolled into a private school that his parents believed were the best of the best, but with that came expectations and even more responsibilities on his silver plate.

the older he got, the stricter the rules he had to abide got, and soon finding himself alone in the cold castle with the company of the staff became a common occurrence. the things they vowed when he was born seemingly disappearing as the days went on. his mother, mirae came from an impoverished background only rising to fortune later on her life and catching the attention of the royal family with her riches. she pressured huijun immensely when he was old enough, that becoming the S U C C E S S O R to the throne and to the family's fortune was the utmost important, to this day he still recalls what she said to him.

❝If you want to be happy in this world, you have to be smart...you have to be like your father.❞

yeo, sangcheol; osmurg's king, mirae's husband and hujin's father. In some aspects huijun admired his father, he wasn't entirely a bad man but there were some things about his father that he couldn't stand. like how he was manipulative, waving money around like it was nothing and bribing others to do the deeds he wished to do without getting his hands dirty when it was necessary. in fact, he was the reason osmurg's crime rates were so low and secretly huijun's father might as well have been a
C R I M I N A L.

in high school, huijun was nothing like he is now. a lot more open and bright, it didn't come as a surprise that he involved himself with the popular crowd. after all he was A PRINCE, RICH, OUTGOING, and EASY ON THE EYES. he was described as THE LIFE OF THE PARTY and overall just FUN. constantly surrounded by the sea of people who considered them as his friend, huijun never really felt the gnawing loneliness inside him disappear. were the people who he called his friend, really his friends? or were they just actors, only pretending in hopes of getting something good out of being friends with the prince of the wealthiest country. huijun felt this feeling for awhile till he met her. nam hye-seong. she was beautiful, kind-hearted and overall too good for huijun as he'd often say. no one had managed to truly wiggle their way into huijun's heart like she did. no one would be able to steal away his breath, the way she did. no one could compare to her.

huijun's had abandoned his friends, just for her. he'd fell for her hard and fast, but he knew better. he knew not to get attached yet he did. he knew about the marriage and his future, and knew not to get any feelings so getting married wouldn't hurt, but he still did. he knew it wouldn't be anything but a crush. a one-sided crush; she had a boyfriend after all but the truth didn't hurt as much as what happened to her, and what he witnessed with his own two eyes.

may 25th -- it was like any day in high school, or so it seemed. it was suppose to be like any other day, boring and repetitive -- a day filled with drowning out teachers and wishing lunch could come faster until the satisfaction of school ending came. but things don't always plan out like you want, he should've known that by now. time has it's own agenda and so does life. you get what you get and you don't throw a fit, right? as the day lagged on, it occurred to huijun, that hye-seong was nowhere to be found. she couldn't have been absent, she promised she'd be here to give huijun the snacks that he requested, but albeit he let it slide and went on with his day, maybe she overslept or something; he planned to go over to her house after school to check up on her, hoping she didn't catch a cold.

as soon as huijun had been dismissed from school in an instant he was out of the classroom, rushing to get his things together and head to hye-seong's house and halfway there he forgot to ask teachers for her missing assignments so he'd have a good excuse to visit for her parents but it was too late by the time he thought of it. knocking on the door of the nam household, huijun couldn't help but shake off this eerie feeling that he felt as he waited outside. no answer. so he knocked again, and called out her name in hopes of getting someone's attention but it only seemed to fall deaf on ears. the thought of her being sick and stuck to bed crossed his mind as he pulled out the spare key she'd given encase of emergencies or whenever huijun wanted to visit unannounced because he felt alone.

opening the door, huijun called out her name again.

NO ANSWER.

chuckling to himself, huijun shook his head at the troublesome girl, looking around the house before he made his way upstairs and towards her room. her door was cracked slightly but there were no sounds. looking around a bit, huijun felt puzzled. was anyone actually home? now he started to feel stupid, but the curiosity was killing him and it didn't hurt to check. knocking on her bedroom door, there was no answer. so he called out for her again and slowly opened the door.

❝Hey Hye-seong, I'm coming ins-❞ the words he uttered came to a halt as his eyes landed on her crumpled body on the floor; his heart fell before he repeatedly called her name like it was player in hopes she would just do something. but that something never came as he rushed over to her body, shaking her shoulders as he yelled down at her, and it was only then that he looked down at her face did he notice her lifeless eyes staring at him from above. SHE WAS G O N E. N O. there had to be a chance, there had to be something -- pulling out his phone, huijun's shaky fingers fumbled to dial 911 as he repeatedly glanced at the girl laying next to her. this couldn't be it. this was just a joke she was playing, right? just something sick and twisted to get a rise out huijun right?

yet, her skin, cold as ice and paler than the winter snow that laid across the sidewalk said otherwise. her eyes were no longer hers, this was someone else this couldn't be here. these eyes were dead inside, hye-seong's eyes held brightness and warmth brightness and warmth, they were often twinkling -- something that huijun always loved about her but these, these were nothing like that. a quick glance around the room, and everything had fell into place. but she'd never do that, would she? she couldn't have committed suicide, that just wasn't in her nature.

❝119 operator. How may I be of assistance?❞

the deep breath he took, felt like knives stabbing at his heart as he tightly gripped the phone, eyes staring down at the girl he once knew.

❝... I think... my friend is D E A D
other
huijun knew about the plan sometime in high school after his mother deliberately told him, and he is by far not a fan of the plan at all -- simply because he believes that not only the royals but anyone should be able to marry who they desire, not who their family desires them to marry. excitement around here is a -100.

Even a fruit that looks sweet can still taste bitter.
personality | Ji-woo is just a tall handsome ball of contradictions. When you first meet him, he seems to have this self-centered attitude towards things, and this reflects how he interacts with people. Sometimes his actions seem selfish, but in reality, he just cared too much. He believes that in life, doing what’s right doesn’t always ensure survival for yourself or for others. He will gladly take the role of the bad guy, so that someone else could find happiness. If his loved ones get involved, he will fight to the death for them. It’s not like he’s some saint that will go out of his way to help others. On his priority list, his job comes first, then the people he cares about, then himself, and lastly, everyone else in this world.

He’s pretty open about himself when asked, and other peoples’ opinions of him doesn’t matter all too much. He has already accepted himself, plus he never really had a high opinion of himself in the first place. He is open to criticism, but doesn’t always take the imitative to change himself for the better. Ji-woo accepts himself for who he is and treats everyone the way he wishes to be treated. No judgments, just acceptance. Unless the criticism is about his acting, then that’s a completely different story. If you don’t like him, he’s not going to go out of his way to change your opinion. He respects other people’s opinions and decisions, so he expects others to do the same for him. He already thinks of himself as a disappointment, so it’s not like anything people say can hurt him now. His heart already has a bunch of self-inflicted wounds. There is really nothing negatively you can say to him, that he hasn’t already told himself before.

Ji-woo is very dedicated to his job. He loves acting, modeling, and being in front of the camera. He will not give it up for the world. When he’s working, he’ll never let his emotions interfere with his ability to get the job done. It’s the same for his personal life as well. He will not let his emotions drive his judgement. He admits he doesn’t have the traditional characteristics of a prince, other than his handsome face. He’s not particularly intelligent, or polite, or gentlemanly, or anything else befitting royalty, but he’s satisfied knowing that at least he's able to make others smile through his work. He doesn’t strive to be a perfect human being and his title is the last thing he thinks about when he interacts with others. Ji-woo is laid-back and quite playful. He acts more like a regular guy, than a prince. He can be eccentric and doesn’t like being too serious. Unlike other royalties, he is privileged to be himself and still be loved for it.

Ever since he was young, Ji-woo has always been striving for independence. His father was very doting of him, although it wasn’t a bad thing, it just made Ji-woo feel very cramped. His father cared for him too much and that care masked his true intentions to control Ji-woo’s life. Ji-woo felt like he couldn’t breathe around his father and he just wants to be from his father’s control. Because of this independent mindset, he doesn’t ask anyone to help him, even when he needs its. If you want to help him, just do it because he’s definitely not going to ask for it. Ji-woo expects other to be independent, just like he is and so he doesn’t lend out his assistance, if he knows the person can do it themselves. He believes it’s better for people to do things themselves. Even if they make a mistake in doing so, they can just learn from it.

There will be times where it’s hard to tell what Ji-woo is thinking. Because he only relies on himself, he tends to bottle his feelings. The more negative his thoughts are, the less likely he’s going to tell someone about them. He doesn’t want to bother other people about his problems, so he tends to keep his feelings to himself. There is always a smile on his face. Makes people question whether he’s faking it or not. Even if he doesn’t want to smile, or doesn’t feel like smiling, he smiles so that other people can smile too.

other | Ji-woo is not exactly looking forward to marrying a complete stranger, but he’s not opposed to it either. His father told him about the law a few years back, and ever since then he’s been mentally preparing himself. It frightened him a little to think he was going to tie himself down to one women, and it wouldn’t even be the woman he loves. The only reason he agreed to do this was because it was the only thing he could do for his country. As a prince, he was a disappointment compared to his little brother, so he wanted to do at least one good thing for his country. He’s going to try his best to make this marriage work. He hopes that his partner to be wouldn’t mind him continuing his acting career after the marriage.

The pain from his past mistakes shackles him to reality.
biography | It was a cold morning on February 16th, when the beautiful queen, Jae-eun, gave birth to a healthy baby boy. It took hours of painful labour, but the doctors managed to keep both the mother and child alive throughout the ordeal. Everyone were ecstatic that both the child and mother were safe. Many were worried that Jae-eun would not survive giving birth for she had a weak and frail body. That day the kingdom was bustling with loud music and confetti was strewn around the streets. It was a celebration for everyone, but Jae-eun chose to stay inside with her baby, away from the necessities. The king, and her husband, Ji-hwan, joined her. They layed in bed and watched as their son, newly named Ji-woo, dozed off into his mother's arms. The loud festivities drowned out into the background of the night, and the couple sweared their lives to give Ji-woo a good and happy life.

In the next few years, Ji-woo was growing healthily. Fortunately, he did not inherit his mother's weak constitution. Like his mother wished, he went out and played with other children and he interacted with all kinds of people in the kingdom. She didn’t want her son growing up like some robot, being told what do and say. She wanted him to feel free and constantly encouraged him to be who he wanted to be, although at that young of an age, Ji-woo didn’t fully understand his mother's words. Ji-hwan was reluctant to agree to his wife's wishes regarding how to raise their son, but he was still a doting father. Whereas Jae-eun wanted her son to be whatever he wanted to be, Ji-hwan pictured his son to be the next ruler of Zesna and nothing else. Not wanting to close off his son’s heart, he remained loving and wasn’t too forceful with his intentions of making Ji-woo the next king.

At four years old, Ji-woo took part in his first drama series. It was nerve-wrecking at first, but he eventually got the hang of it and enjoyed himself throughout the recording. Every morning, he was excited and looking forward to going to the studio to shoot his scenes. Even if he wasn’t shooting anything for the day, he would go down to the site and watched the other actors and actresses shoot their scenes. He was absolutely fascinated as he watched himself in awe on the tv screen. When the drama was finished, Ji-woo was itching to be behind the camera again. He constantly told his mother he wanted to act again. It was obvious to everyone that he shined when he was acting. Nothing else could make him smile so brightly. Because he was only four years old, Ji-hwan opposed to the idea of letting Ji-woo pursue his acting. He argued that Ji-woo was still just a child and it didn’t mean his wishes to be an actor would still be what he wants in the future. This was just a desperate attempt to keep his idea of making Ji-woo his successor. He was afraid that Ji-woo wouldn’t want to be the next ruler, but even he could see the glimmer in his son's eyes when he was in front of the camera.

Ji-hwan eventually gave into his wife, and silently supported his son's new acting career in the shadows. Unfortunately that same year, Jae-eun became bedridden. Her health deteriorated to the point she had constant fevers and could barely even leave her bed without feeling terribly ill. Although she had noticed the signs of her body weakening, after giving birth to Ji-woo, but she just ignored it, since she wanted to be a part of her son’s life. Eventually dying peacefully in her sleep, the kingdom mourned over the loss of their queen. A memorial service was done to honor her and as they watched her be buried, Ji-woo wept silently. Tears rolled down his face, but he still remained silent, not wanting to disrupt everyone with his loud wailing. Ji-hwan did not cry at her funeral. He was her husband, but he was still the king, and he must remain strong and dignified. It wasn’t until he was in the safe haven of his home, did his facade crumble and he started crying like a newborn child. Ji-woo tried to comfort his father, even though he was also crying into his arms.

Through the days of mourning Jae-eun’s death, Ji-hwan was stuck thinking about an important decision. Although Ji-woo’s still young, it was never to early for him to learn the ways of a good king. Ji-hwan’s
advisers were constantly breathing down his neck, telling him to hire tutors for Ji-woo and to make him stop his silly dreams of being an actor. He finally came to a decision, when his younger sister and brother-in law, Min-young and Ki-taek, brought their son over for a playdate. While the two boys went off to play, albeit Ji-woo wasn’t as hyper as he usually was when playing with his cousin Tae-joon, the three adults discussed Ji-woo’s future. Eventually, Ji-hwan decided to let Ji-woo become an actor, instead of succeeding the throne. It was Jae-eun’s wish to see him succeed in the entertainment world, and Ji-hwan wanted to honor that wish. And that’s how Ji-woo spent the rest of his life. He took part in many more dramas and became quite a fan favorite.

A year after Jae-eun’s death, Ji-hwan remarried to Joo Kyung-ri and a year after that the second prince, Jae-bin, was born. As he was growing up, Ji-woo liked Kyung-ri. She was nice and treated him like her own son. She supported his acting career, and even helped him memorize his lines sometimes. Although many believed she only supported him because Ji-woo had no interest in taking the throne, and so her son, Jae-bin, can be the next king. Unlike how she treats Ji-woo, she was very strict on her own son. She was determined to make Jae-bin qualified to be the next successor and that meant, he must spend many hours of the day studying and only taking breaks to sleep and eat. Ji-woo noticed this and so would often help him sneak out from his studying time to enjoy the fresh air. Because of this Jae-bin became very attached to his big brother; however, around the time when Ji-woo started high school, Jae-bin started to become very jealous of his older brothers freedom. Why does Ji-woo get to goof off, while he’s stuck studying day in and day out? Why does his mother treat Ji-woo so much more kindly than him? Why is he forced to be the successor and get treated this way just because Ji-woo wanted to be an actor? Those were the questions that he brewed inside his young head.

His once affection for his brother turned into animosity, and his hatred grew after he heard some of Ji-hwan’s
advisers call him a replacement for the no good first son. That he was being trained so hard and had his freedom of choice stripped away from him was because Ji-woo didn’t want the throne, and his mother did not want him to turn out like Ji-woo. Ever since then, Jae-bin’s attitude towards his older brother changed, he blamed Ji-woo for his restrictive and somewhat miserable lifestyle that he could never get out of. The two brothers barely even interacted, and even when Ji-woo wanted to hang out with him, Jae-bin rejected the offer coldly. Ji-woo didn’t blame him. If he was in his shoes, Ji-woo probably would have hated himself too.

When Ji-woo started high school, of course he went to a private one. It was mostly a school centered around the performing arts, but it did require its students to take a number of core classes. They didn’t care just for pretty faces. They vowed to nurture talent and intelligence in their students. The school was also where many royal family members of Zesna has attended, so it was obvious Ji-woo was going to go this school as well. When it comes to stem classes, Ji-woo was average. He just tried his best to not fail and only cared about his talent in the theatre. Figuring this out, Ji-hwan forced his son to make a deal with him. If he doesn’t raise his grades up, Ji-woo can say goodbye to his acting career. Ji-hwan was the king Zesna, and he had the power to make that happen. With that encouragement, Ji-woo studied hard and got into the top 20% in the school. By any means, he wasn't a genius, but he knew how to study and memorize content. As promised if Ji-woo can maintain his place in the top 20%, then his father wouldn’t lay a hand on his acting career.

During his first year, he fell in love with a girl named Jeon Jang-mi. She was beautiful, but Ji-woo was attracted to her strong independent nature. The two eventually started dating, but after half a year into the relationship, it didn’t seem like they were dating at all. At the start, Ji-woo gave Jang-mi a lot of his attention. They went on many dates and were named the perfect couple; however, the relationship turned sour, after Ji-woo promised his father to stay in the top 20%. He was busy with both school and work, and had no time for his girlfriend. He thought they were in love, so he also thought the relationship could still work, even though they barely got to meet each other. Boy, was he wrong. With his absence, Jang-mi started questioning his love for her. She became extremely clingy and constantly demanded his attention. For a little bit, Ji-woo endured and complied to her requests, but it was never enough for her. She constantly wanted to be at his side at school, at work, and even at home. Ji-woo still loved her, but he couldn’t help feeling trapped in the relationship. He felt like he couldn’t breathe and it reminded him of his father constantly trying to butt into his life. Not being able to take it anymore, Ji-woo broke up with her and two went their separate ways, each holding onto their broken hearts. Breaking up with a girl he still loved, left a terrible after-taste in Ji-woo’s mouth.

At seventeen, he started dating one of his seniors named Park Hyung-min. Although they were both males, Ji-woo didn’t discriminate and fortunately neither did the rest of the student body. They all accepted the couple, many girls enjoying the bromance the two had with each other. Hyung-min was similar to Jang-mi. He was independent, looked cold-hearted, but still a softie on the inside. Once again, Ji-woo was attracted to him. It wasn’t like love at first sight with Jang-mi, but he did eventually fall in love with Hyung-min a few weeks into the relationship. Like with Jang-mi, Ji-woo was the loving one in the relationship; however, unlike Jang-mi, Hyung-min remained stoic and didn’t show much affection. That was fine at the beginning, it was what Ji-woo liked about him; however, two years into the relationship, their dynamic didn’t change. Hyung-min still barely expressed any form of affection towards Ji-woo. Even when Ji-woo opened up his negative thoughts to him, he didn’t give any emotional support. It was obvious the two were drifting apart, although Ji-woo argued they were barely even that close to begin with. Not wanting to break up, Ji-woo tried his best to make the relationship work. He became more affectionate, and never stopped showing his bright and loving self to Hyung-min. He started arguing with Hyung-min about whether or not he truly loves him and values the relationship. Ji-woo clung to him like Koala whenever he could. Eventually Hyung-min broke up with him for the same exact reason why Ji-woo broke up with Jang-mi.

Devastated by the break up, and the realization of his own hypocrisy, Ji-woo hasn’t dated anyone ever since. Plus, as the the first-born son he had to married off to some other princess, so it was good he was single. Ji-woo took the time to try to understand his own feelings. He wanted someone independent and didn’t cling onto him, did he not? And that’s what he got with Hyung-min, that he didn’t get with Jang-mi, so why did he crave so much affection from Hyung-min? He wanted to be loved, and yet at the same time not loved too much. Ji-woo was confused about his own feelings, but then realized how selfish he was. He only wanted something when it was convenient for him. He needed someone dependent. Someone who would change to his own mood swings. Be affectionate when he wants it, and be distant when he needs space or doesn’t want to be affectionate. That’s the main reason why he didn’t want to date. He didn’t want someone to be tied down to a contradicting and unstable person like himself.

When he turned eighteen, not all the firstborns of the other countries were eighteen yet, so he was relieved he didn’t have to abide by the marriage law at that point. Wanting to be more independent, after he graduated high school, he decided to move out and get his own apartment. His father lets him do as he wishes, but without notifying Ji-woo, Ji-hwan had a penthouse set up for him. This way he could worry less, knowing his son was living in a good place. It was already payed for and it was quite large for someone who was going to live their alone. Just so that his son won’t decline the offer, Ji-hwan had all of Ji-woo’s things moved to the new place immediately. He had even made sure no real estate agency would help Ji-woo find a place to live. Although he was upset, Ji-woo had no choice, but to move into the penthouse his father arranged. He didn't complain too much, since it was a very nice place, and something he probably could have never found on his own. After moving in, he decided to get himself a pet, since there was more than enough room for one. Soon one pet became five, and Ji-woo refers to all of them as his children. There names are Robin, Mickey, Riceball, Harlow, and Edgar.

any other features | almost perfectly untainted, minseo has never gotten anything like a tattoo or other daring modifications aside from the standard ear lobe piercings. however she does have a small scar on the palm of her right hand, gained from an accident when baking as a child, which she is somewhat self conscious of. minseo also has a small beauty spot on her left cheek.

clothing | comfortable yet fashionable, minseo is always well dressed to some degree, whether it be cute and casual or more formal and glamourous outfits. on normal days she favours shorts and skirts if the weather allows it, and in winter woollen jumpers are her go to.

personality
they say the monarch represents the country, but minseo would defy any such saying when she becomes the queen of wheso. in fact, many would not expect her to be of the royal family of wheso, with her suiting the spirit of sleynia or atrya much more.
with two younger siblings minseo has never been too much of a role model as the eldest child of the family. her younger brother is a whizz at gaming and her sister managed to innovate inventions from when she was six, while she was always lax about such things and spent her free time wandering around the country or hanging out with friends. a free spirit, minseo has open views about the world and their society, though at the same time sometimes she would rather not delve too deeply into such topics and focus on just overall having a good time. therefore she really dislikes pointless arguments over trivial things, but sometimes she can't help but get herself into one. hating to see others unhappy, minseo will do whatever she can to brighten the day of those around her. she is an affectionate thing, bright and loyal to her loved ones.
minseo can be fairly naive, having not been corrupted by anything so still retaining her innocence. you could say she is spoiled, having been cooped up and protected by her parents for most of her life, but on the other hand she could also be viewed as restricted. although taught things like how to dine properly or how to manage the finances of the country, she is pretty clueless at aspects of a normal person's life. she is the type of person to try hard at something at first, but will probably eventually give up, thinking she is useless at it. she is quite often indecisive and uncertain, often questioning whether her choices are actually the correct ones to make.

biography
minseo was almost born on april fools, but fortunately in a desperate attempt to prevent her from acquiring such a birthday they managed to have the labour prolonged to midnight, with her coming into the world at 1 past midnight on the second of april.
as a child minseo has been brought up like any other princess; taught all the necessary manners and etiquette a princess should know, brought up mostly around the royal family and those of enough importance, and true to her country, learnt all about their technology and how to manage their wealth. she was originally home schooled by only the best tutors in the country, though as she grew her parents allowed her the freedom of attending a (private) high school, which she quite adored.
unfortunately, minseo was not the most interested in what made up the core of wheso. although naturally gifted in the field of technology due to growing up around nothing but that, she'd much rather spend her time not fiddling with gadgets or being immersed in the latest technological advances. the world survived without all of these things like artificial intelligence or super robots who can cook for you, so why do they need so much of it? you could say that it is because of this her parents have begun to bother less and less with her over the years, focusing more on her tech-centric siblings instead. but still, minseo believes that wheso is far too engrossed in their inventions, and for the past few years she's been pushing aside the reality that she will one day have to rule this country.

other
for minseo the law is the law, and she does not think she can do much about it, and therefore has no choice but to just go along with it. once married to the chosen prince she will hope to be able to forge a good relationship with them, so they can at least live happy lives despite their situation. minseo is fairly relaxed about the whole ordeal, and is sure that whatever happens, things will work out.
