♚. Appearance: Astor has dark hair and equally dark eyes that holds a kind of warmth to them. Often, he is seen smiling and laughing, a bright and cheerful light to his comrades. When he is serious, his mouth is set in a grim line and his eyes turn darker with a stare that could kill. Though such an expression is really seen on his face.

His skin is freckled and fairly pale as, to much of his dismay, he does not seem to tan very easily in the sun despite all his training. Often he is teased by Gabriel for being "fair", a term more commonly used to compliment young beautiful women. His handsome yet rather youthful and soft face did nothing to help his situation.

Astor is rather slender but has a fairly lean body under his usual uniform as the Lord commander and King Gabriel's protector. As of recent years, with the help of training, he has grown slightly, much to his relief as for most of his teen years, he'd been rather short and his height, or lack there of, was very noticeable especially when he was surrounded by the other more burly, tall and buff members of the guard.

Due to him pretty much being on duty all around the clock, Astor remains in his Commander uniform though rarely wears a full metal suit of armor. His reason being that wearing the armor is like wearing an oven under the son. Besides, he has full confidence in his abilities to fight in order to protect himself and/or King Gabriel.

♚. Personality: Astor is a warm and friendly young man who generally enjoys being social and conversing in and among strangers and friends. Despite his rather extroverted nature, he greatly cherishes the time he has alone to train or those days when he and Gabriel go out hunting. After all, Astor treasures memories and moments and holds his comrades, allies, family and friends close to his heart. There is nothing he wouldn't do for those he is loyal too, even if it means breaking his oath to his country for their sake. Take Gabriel. Astor would protect him as a friend and if it came to it, would defy even his friend's orders as a king to his bodyguard. Respect, love and friendship is hard earned, and those he keeps close.

He is a mischievous soul and has been ever since he was a child. Often, Astor would try find ways of getting out of doing work or finding ways to escape the confines of the castle and spend the day out in the wild where there were no rules, no responsibilities nor limitations. His mischief only grew upon meeting the then Prince Gabriel who too tended to misbehave at times. He would use whatever means to get free and often resorted to trickery or manipulative methods though Astor always acted with a good motivation. Upon losing his mother and becoming King, Gabriel was burdened with huge responsibilities and pains. So often, the knight would find ways of getting his friend out of the castle to relax a bit, not only for his own entertainment, but for his ward's own sake.

Astor is a gentleman with deep-embedded manners and is a wonderful person to talk to, regardless of who you are. He upholds his code as a knight and is gentle and careful, especially with the ladies, mistresses and maidens that he often meets around the castle. Though he is quite an adorkable sweet heart, the young commander is by no means a flirt. Due to years of focusing on training and protecting his liege, Astor had completely ignored the romantic side of his life so he has absolutely no experience when it comes to women, romantically speaking. He is fairly innocent in that sense and, due to his rather straightforward nature, is unable to hide his feelings, especially when embarrassed or bashful.

Though Astor is quick to act or lash out, especially if something threatens the safety of those he cares deeply about. His hand is fast to draw his sword in a fight, but more often than not, the conflict ends without any blood being shed as misunderstandings are resolved and arguments finished. Despite his rather brash nature, the young man is not violent at heart, often hoping that he would never have to hurt someone who is innocent.

His men know their lord very well when it comes to being serious. In the face of the council and the citizens, Astor tones down his mischief and friendliness slightly and becomes a much more quieter and forever watchful body guard. He wears an unreadable expression and focuses on his job as a Commander. No one , not even the most daring of his guards, would dare question their Captain who has earned their respect after years of training and working together and is renowned for his swordsmanship and his often good judgement.


♚. Quirks: When Astor blushes, he literally become tomato red around his cheeks. He has a habit of losing track of time, especially when he is having fun in the great wild woods.

♚. History: Astor was born into the noble house of Wolf and was the smallest of four children : two brothers and two sisters. As a child, he was pampered and spoiled rotten as the little treasure of the family. There were no expectations put on him and he had no pressure at all as his siblings were expected to carry the family and he was left to be free to do whatever he pleased.

On his family's land, there were great woods that drew the attention and interest of the young wolf. From an early age, Astor began to learn to hunt. He was a natural on horse back and had a talent for archery with deadly precision, rarely going a hunt without coming back with a kill. A few years later,
the young boy would happen upon a wounded baby falcon deeper in the forest. The little creature had somehow wound up there far from the bird of prey's preferred nesting ground. Having a love for creatures, birds especially, Astor took it in and it was named Kaiser. Having taken note of his son's hobbies, his father decided to hire a teacher who would help the young boy train his falcon in falconry, hence combining two of his favorite things. Hunting and his falcon. The pair learnt quickly and soon were out in the wild together. Boy and bird, loyalest of companions.

When he turned 14, Astor began taking more interest in things at home. His brothers had joined in the military to follow their father who held a high position as one of the officials in the royal army. As he was often complimented for his fighting spirit and natural talent, the young boy too began training in the hopes of surpassing his brothers and even his father, just for the pride it would bring him. Accompanied by his faithful companion, he learnt fast in the art of swordsmanship and rose in the ranks of his year. It was during training, in a fateful spar that he met Prince Gabriel. The young prince had taken interest in Astor from his fighting skills and after a few spars and encounters, a lasting friendship began to grow. The two grew closer as the years passed, sharing many hobbies and interests as well as enraging many council and court members with their mischief and antics.

Soon Astor had completed his training and had joined the army. His skills as a swordsman and a respected leader let him rise through the ranks of the military. Before long, he had reached his goal of surpassing his family, but instead of quitting or stopping, the young knight continued to rise with a new motivation spurring his efforts. His friendship with Gabriel made him reach for something more. He wanted to scale to the top of the ranks to be alongside his friend. Afterall, the Prince would one day be King and every King would need a close protector who would be their sword and their shield, someone who would willingly give their life up for his majesty. And there would be no better person for the role.

Years of hard work, of training of fighting led to him proving himself to be worthy of a position among the greatest fighters of their time. Not only that, but he'd earned the respect of his comrades who now trusted his judgement and decision making. Soon after the Coronation of King Gabriel, Astor joined his best friend to stand by him as his protector, the Lord Commander of the Royal Guard.

Skills: Astor is an excellent swordsman, duelist, marksman, horseman and hunter, having been born with natural talent and trained from a young age, growing up to be instructed alongside his majesty. Together, they make a formidable pair though the young knight secretly hopes that Gabriel would never have to raise his sword or risk his own life. Though not necessarily the strongest or most buff man in the guard, Astor plays to his other strengths of speed, agility and brains to beat any opponent, no matter how much stronger.

He is excellent in the field of falconry and works well with his companion, Kaiser. The two have been hunting together for years and the falcon is always seen perched on the shoulder of his beloved master and friend.

  Flag- The black in the flag represents the smolders that the first capital became when the Spiders rose to the top of it all a few centuries before. The white represents the freedom for women to become great and powerful in the country while the blue at first represented the lovely sea before it was dulled a few decades before. Now, it shows the way that men are the working class while women rose to become the upper class. The red keys represent the bloodied secrets of the country’s leaders. The secrets have lead to a number of deaths because they have almost fallen into the wrong hands.
  
  Location- The beaches are well-known and are beautiful, maintained by the men and women, mostly women, of the little villages along it. There are widespread plains to allow grains and livestock to thrive in them. The plains cover most of the island sans the beaches or the more desert-like environment that surrounds the capital city known as Örümcek yuvası. These deserts tend to turn around those who aren’t welcome into the capital.
  The weather is very stable for the most part due to it being surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. The ocean is also a way to keep the country safe. The island is very quiet until you get into the main cities where life is bustling.
  
  
  Society/Occupations- Cyprus is known for it’s beautiful textiles, sold to anyone who is willing to pay for the luxurious silks all the way to the bold rugs. The cloth industry is the only one that reaches across the borders of the country. They are only willing to sell what they can spare and the fabrics are all that the Spider Queen considered to be expendable. However, her successor is trying to expand the trades out of the countries. Even now, they are still a relatively closed country.
  On the coasts and along the ports, the people there are willing to talk with foreigners. They treat them as kindly as any other home would treat guests. They are willing to talk about some of the situations in the country, so long as they know something about it. However, the further inland you go, the more closed off the citizens will become. The farmers are willing to tell you what they know so long as you are able to earn their trust through working in the fields. They are at least polite when they refuse to tell you what you want to know. It’s the cities where lips are locked tight and only open when they are paid with enough coins. The men are more willing to talk about the Raven King, but they won’t participate in slander of the late queen. Woman with drag the king’s name through the mud with a handful of the silver coins but they will not take part in mere chatter without some kind of compensation. It’s the cities that cause foreigners to look over his shoulders as he walks the streets.
  There are a multitude of occupations from rug weavers to seamstresses. Innkeepers thrive along the coasts where there are more people who are going to stay with them. Those who sell textiles thrive by going from port to port, selling to the nobles who go to them. However, there are still bandits along the road who will catch those who do not know the unsafe roads from the safe routes. What’s worse is how easily you can find assassins if you ask the right people in the towns. It was assassins that forced the younger twin to the throne.
  
  Religion- There isn’t a specific religion that the entire kingdom follows, as the Spider Queen had decided that religion had no part in her politics. Religion is also not talked about very often due to the fact that it matters very little outside of moral aspects of life.
  
  Biography- Sjoni was raised to be a supervisor of his older sister Lin. She was supposed to become queen when their mother died and, more than likely, was going to be the chosen candidate to go to the selection of the King of Kings. Unfortunately, she was killed the night of her 18th birthday. Leaving his older brother Drin to be the next king of Cyprus. In the next few days, he was poisoned and didn’t wake up the next morning. Shonin, Sjoni’s twin brother was the next in line, only to die when he was “accidentally” knocked from his chariot and killed. Sjoni was the only remaining choice as the remaining siblings were only going to get themselves and their countrymen killed for being too ambitious or too meek. Sjoni had to be rushed through his training in a mere two years as the Queen herself was knocking on Death’s door. Sjoni was coronated at the young age of 21.
  Unfortunately, the Queen and her advisors weren’t pleased with the lanky young man being king and having to teach him in such a short time so they made the choice to beat the lessons into him. If Sjoni wasn’t understanding quickly enough, they would simply whip him until he did. This lead to his unfortunate mistrust of women when they held anything over his head, forcing him to see that he prefered the company of men when he needed some level of romance. He forced that down in himself and refuses to admit to it as most in his country would disprove of two men being anywhere near the throne, let alone being together. Sjoni is a closed book when it comes to talking about anything of meaning and avoids small-talk like the plague.
  Sjoni only had one friend growing up, but she was to become the queen of Libya so he didn’t get to see her much. As of the recent few years, he has been corresponding with her and is working on choking Egypt’s economy as they killed many of his allied Libyans in an event known as the Red Raids. He is doing his best to get trade routes blocked to and from Egypt but of course the women of the country refuse to close borders by the order of a man who was rumored to have summoned the assassins to kill his siblings. He isn’t able to correspond with his advisors to make sure that the trade routes were choked. He is hoping for the best as he travels to Italy for the selection of the new King of Kings.

  Appearance- Sjoni’s skin is a lovely olive color or at least the parts that he allows others to see. His long hair is hip length and is raven black and wavy. He cuffs it up and other the rest so that he is able to pretend like his hair is the length that most Christian countries deem worthy of their God. He has patches of porcelain white skin that aren’t shown upon his face. Sjoni is tall and very slender, though his body is not weak. The muscles are thin and pressed close against his frame and hidden beneath his many layers of black clothing. His face, meanwhile, does not reveal such emotions of anger and fear. It never so much as cracks a smile when he feels joy or finds something amusing. He is stoic and walks with such great pride, his back straight and his hands pressed against his side or behind his back. He is a proud man with a proud heritage that is forced under the stoic surface and covers up the emotions required of a king, let alone a King of Kings.
  
  Clothing Style- Sjoni tends to wear black clothing that covers most of his frame, despite the heat of the island. He wears layers to hide most of his lanky frame in order to keep his height and most of himself hidden from those who seek out his death. He wears a crown adorned with silver feathers and small antlers and the lone emerald to symbolize the raven title and the rumor that he is able to see into the future. The raven skull clasp on his thick black cloak due to not only his title of Raven King but because he sees the beauty in death. His beliefs show him how nature is what runs the world as he sees it and that there lies nothing when he dies. The only thing that awaits him is nothingness, a senseless blackness. All of his clothing hides his marks, his thoughts and his weaknesses from those whose knives would plunge into him if they had the opportunity.
  
  Personality- Sjoni is an oddly stoic young man who is never trusting of anyone right off the bat, and usually for good reason. He thinks through every possible outcome of a decision before making it, usually to the benefit of him and those around him. He actively pursues the truth when if and when he needs to. Sjoni prefers to be alone if he is given the option which, sometimes, comes across as him being rude. He has issues with physical and emotional contact and usually keeps to himself to avoid wasting his time with meaningless chatter. There are only a few who knew him before he was groomed into becoming king and back then he was very awkward, to say the least. He, in turn, locks himself in his own head and points out every possible flaw in himself and what he is doing. However, he keeps his flaws hidden from The prying eyes of those who would try and take the throne out from underneath him. Ultimately, he has a cold and stone-like exterior to those who don’t know him from before it all.
  Sjoni is still ruled by the grief of losing his older siblings, the event that forced him onto the throne. This caused him to be rushed through his training in order to become the king. His mental stability is what is what set him up to be the best choice to be the successor to the Queen who came before him. His younger sisters have murderous tendencies while the youngest is far too meek for her own good. This is what makes them ineligible while the youngest brother is shown to be better suited to be more of a sounding board for the young king.
  Sjoni will often refuse a hand that is reaching out to help him out of a problem for any number of reasons but It is mostly so that he doesn’t feel like he just wasted their time. He sits out of the way to keep out of the way and thoughts of other people.
  Quirks- Smile tilts up more on one side than the others, bites his lower lip a little bit when he is lost in thought, often tugs on his bracers when he isn’t sure about something.
  
  Why does he want to be the King of Kings?
  Sjoni wants to be the King of Kings because he wants to show his countrymen that a King can genuinely do some good. He simply wants to be accepted but doesn’t necessarily want to be the King of Kings. He would much rather be an advisor of sorts, rather than be the Crown. Those who wanted him on the throne in the first place are the ones who urged him to even try to go to the Selection. Once again, he was the best candidate from Cyprus anyway. Sjoni wants to be someone that people will actually listen to.
  Sjoni also even let himself be selected to be a candidate to be the King of Kings because his sister was supposed to be the candidate of Cyprus. This was something he knew he owed her. If she wasn’t alive to see the throne herself, he would let her live through him. She deserved to see it as she worked the hardest to even think of getting to it. Sjoni never wants to live as the disappointment to anyone so he let his family aim him for the stars.
  
  What does he think about the Selection process of choosing a King of Kings?
  Sjoni doesn’t exactly care about how the next King of Kings is chosen, so long as they are just and loyal to neutrality. He doesn’t mind the tradition so long as it doesn’t turn into a bloodbath for any country involved. He wishes that he could believe that this could work to filter out people like his younger sisters. He believes that if the current King of Kings is truly worth his salt, then he will be able to choose someone who can do the best for everyone, not just pick a side in a discrepancy between two countries in the Empire. This is the reason he believes he isn’t worthy of taking the title on for himself.

Society in Ireland can be very intense because of constant fighting between Irish villages. Things though can also exciting because of festivals and celebration. In Ireland money is tight there is some riches but Ireland is poor peaceful and tries not to get into wars.

Society in Iceland is very rough living because of the changing climate. During things in Iceland being are more friendly to the neighbors then in Ireland who constantly fight over land and goods. Iceland though has attractions that bringing immigrants into the country.

both societies are different but Anne tries her best to make sure both are well cared for. which is the best gift a ruler can give to its people. society is the main goal into keeping prosperity and peace is to make sure everyone is happy in their own way.

Anne is pretty bold when it comes to what she wants. Sometimes though she becomes nervous on deep subjects like such as deaths of respected people she knew. she is though brave and is loyal which is many reasons she is control of Ireland and some of Iceland.

She is known to come off sarcastic in subjects she doesn't care about or take interest in. she is known also if she was to war with anybody she would be right beside the general to help defend which is a deep respect she does not dare break. she has a temper which makes her stern and she can easily make peace in arguments in her kingdom that have been brought to her attention.

As a child anne looked up to her father who was mighty mighty king who made sure everything was orderly. He promised anne someday she would rule. Her mother said she acted just like her father because everyone was fond of him and his power to be respected and passionate about his people. years went by and the king became frail and sickly.

As a teenager her father died at a young age in his forties and she was in line to rule by her fathers decision. for he died of an deadly illness and on his dead bed he gave an the royal seal and said to her he loved her and that hour he died. she had been emotional about death ever since. she was crowned queen with her mother by her side she made a promise to her mother that she could stay on that coronation day.

Anne had became worrisome with all this power but she kept her cool so she could serve her people. her mother became her royal advisor to help her on her long journey as queen. the feeling of loneliness took over her as she saw many queens marry as if they seemed happy. were they? because in her eyes they looked forced. So when she joined in as a candidate she wanted to change the law to only rule for love not blood.

Anne wanting to change the law of Royal marriage joined in hope to change the law itself to spread better happiness. She had a feeling her father would want that too maybe. she expected to rule with order and kindness making things better for everyone.

Being part of the king of kings made her think about the new advantages of power. she thought towards the way she would change laws. Maybe some to give her absolute power but she would have to think of the cost of that.
