The Long Road to Nowhere

DikkeVetteVlinder

Weird at last.
Roleplay Availability
Roleplay Type(s)
A city surrounded by an enormous wall (no, Donald, not that one). Robotic monstrosities that guard the streets after dark as well as the area around the city. Escape seems impossible.

If the city had been some sort of paradise it wouldn't even have been all that godawful, but it isn't. Food isn't scarce yet, but that won't be very long and anything that is readily available isn't exactly a massage to your tastebuds. There is enough water, but there is lots of uncertainty about how long that's going to last. More and more people feel like they are just being left to their own devices.

Outside of the city nature is strange; there's thick forests, dry planes and the days are hot and the nights cold. When it's dry, it's insanely dry, but when it rains, it floods.

In the distance, visible from most skycrapers, there's another city. Not much is known about it. It could be better, it could be worse.

In this RP:

- We'll both be playing one or more characters, depending on how many ideas we have for them.

- They're first goal is simply getting out and past the guard-bots, and after that they need to find a way to cross the terrain between cities and then they need to find a way into the second city, and then we can of course decide if it's going to be worth it, or if they're worse off now... >: D

- They will be chased by the robots that patrol outside.

That's the main idea, though; I'm open to any suggestions.

Last but not least:

- I'm looking for someone who thinks along. I hate setting up rules, but I'm fed up with being the one to keep coming up with twists and new ideas along the way. It's a two-way street.

- I'm not hung up on post length, but I don't like oneliners either. All I ask of someone is to put effort into a post. That's what I do as well.

- I love character development. The more, the better.
