they didn't know how they had missed it- how they hadn't noticed after all this time. maybe it was luck, the byproduct of outside forces and some ungodly will that had them blind to the fires burning outside their home, as blood ran down the streets and stained the pavement that laid beneath their feet; maybe it was by choice, the subconscious decision to turn a blind eye to the horrors lurking beneath, to save themselves from the dire wrongs being done in the city and to put off what would ultimately be the inevitable; or maybe it was just the same tale of history repeating itself- a story of ignorance and a refusal to change that looped the same old tale of a city once glowing brought to it's knees by the product of greed and avarice.

tl;dr it's an rp about a waterside town in louisiana that's caught in the middle of a power struggle between the three most influential & powerful gangs running it, and a tale about the people in it, the lives lost in the crossfire, and how a town destined to fall is torn asunder by the very people wishing to claim it as their own. loosely spun around classic lit pieces like the illiad, macbeth, hamlet & more

lowkey it was heavily centered around gangs and macbeth and shit at first but then all these Lore ideas fell into my lap and suddenly the entire city is now involved?? whoops, anywho the basic gist is that ames d'acier is caught in the midst of a war thats been going on for a while now between the three most powerful gangs in the city, and like it had been generally underwraps before hand and the public hadn't known about it yet but the gangs are getting sloppier, members are becoming cocky and bold and leave evidence and sent threats to innocent people and like,, it gets messy, and civilians get dragged in and the town is on the brink of total destruction as in the midst of a clash of egos, the three factions fail to notice theyre destroying the thing they vie for the most. it's a chronicle of war, and the evetns during and after and if a town under siege has enough legs to stand on to survive, or if it will crumble and fall.

- im someone who values quality over quantity when it comes to posts, but i would like atleast 1-2 posts per week just to keep things rolling and keep characters involved in the story.

- keep things pg-13 on rpn!! if things get steamy during character arcs, fade to black or go in pms.

- this rp will deal with real world issues such as racism, police brutality, political corruption, elitism and other such heavy topics, and as a such it is a requirement for any posts containing these elements to be properly trigger-tagged for the safety of all players; dismissal of this rule will be met with an instant kick out of the rp.
