Rules

• You know the gist; no power-playing, g-modding, etc. In other words, make sure you play fairly and don't control other people's characters
• Please keep everything at PG-13. If you feel the need to curse, please do not do it often; I understand that it adds to characters, but it can make other roleplayers feel awkward. I want for this roleplay to be open to EVERYONE
• Cursed characters are definitely welcomed, but please send me a message if you want to make one
• There is a limit of three characters per roleplayer, and only up to two of the said characters can be Changelings. If you want to have all three be normal people, however, you are welcome to do so.
• Each post must be at least one paragraph long; if you cannot make a post that is long enough, then you should probably wait for more events to occur before actually posting.
• In this roleplay, characters will die. You should be aware of that before joining. This does not mean that a character will be cornered and given no chance to live; permission must be given before a character is killed

  Riley is 5'6 and weighs 120 lbs. She is of average build and average height for someone of her age. She has tan skin and a light dusting of freckles across her nose and cheeks. Riley has an oval-shaped head that is framed by straight, dark brown hair which extends a few inches past her shoulders. Her large eyes are dark brown. Riley has a pointed chin and thin lips that are usually curled up in a sly smile. She has a large birthmark on her right forearm and pierced ears, but no other notable characteristics such as scars, piercings, or tattoos. Clothing-wise, Riley prefers to wear whatever will keep her from looking "abnormal." Her usual wardrobe consists of jeans, some flats, a t-shirt, and a blue coat that is present until summer, Riley simply rolling up the sleeves when the heat becomes bothersome. Riley wears a variety of shirts, usually ones inspired from movies or books or have a sarcastic quote on them.
• Personality: Riley is quite sociable, and when someone speaks she is quick to smile and respond. Riley’s personality is usually quite chipper unless things don’t quite go her way. Then she tends to lose her cool and panics, showing difficulty in focusing on the situation at hand or becoming overly-focused on the said situation. A bit of a perfectionist, Riley likes to have things go her way. This results in procrastination and organization. Inwardly, Riley honestly a bit of a brat. She feels disdain and disgust towards most people, no matter what faction they are in, including her own and especially towards herself. While she may be able to influence the emotions of others, she has difficulty controlling her own emotions due to the constant sensing of emotions around her.
• Power: Riley is able to read and alter emotions. There are some drawbacks to this, however. She can only read the emotions of people within twenty yards of her, and can’t tell who these emotions are directed towards. Along with this, Riley is only able to influence the emotions of others who are within about 8 ft of her. The more strongly one feels an emotion, the longer she has to be within distance of the person in order to influence their emotion. Her ability works like a signal - if she is closer to the person, it's easier for her to influence their emotions.

Personality :

Honest with everyone, Corrin won't hesitated to told someone what his thought on him are. Despite hiding it, he got an optimistic point of view about the future of the changeling lifestyle.
It is certainly sure that when Corrin decided to follow a goal, he will be extremely determined and it will be hard to influence him because of his hothead attitude. Furthermore, he is impatient and likes when things go really quick. However, he never underestimated or judge someone he had just met or know almost not a single clue about. He also never encourage or praise anybody, apart himself.

But that's not all ! In extreme situations, Corrin can make some sarcastic jokes. In reality, people will need time to... "Appreciate" him. However, you will understand that having Corrin near you when you are the good guy will make you feel safier.
Also, please don't say he is little. It will triggered him. Really badly.

Bio :

As a kid, Corrin was the normie among the other. But unlike the other peaceful kids on his school, he was already a hot head. It seems like that the Wright family was like this. Despite this, it was in no time that his intelligence was proven to be more superior compare to the others.

However, lazy as he was, he didn't used his maximum potential and was blame by the teachers. After all, he just wanted to be an adventurer, not taking part in a boring and lazy job of the society.

But things haven't gone well. Growing up, his brown hair had became blue along his eyes taking a red color. Furthermore, his body tallness had stopped. After a while, Corrin brother made fun of him because of that, such as calling him a "shrimp". But to be true, they were liking each other. His brother had the same treatment happening, they both had became Changeling. In the end, it result as Corrin's brother and him battling to each other, a comic scenes for the other around.

Years after, Corrin is now living peacefully in Clarksville.

Corrin was given the power of manipulating the air around him, capable of using it in order to enhanced his body with it and many other usefullity. This go as :

-The air can surrounded his whole body, increasing his overall strength and movement speed. For example, he can pack up a really great punch despite his non sportive body thanks to his power. Using this power for too long may reduce his overall stamina and exhausted him.

-The air can formed a shield made of winds. However, the shield is really weak and can only reduce the impact of the attack being received. For example, a bullet can surpassed the shield and hurt really badly Corrin.

Thanks ! Around 2~3 time faster than a normal human until his body may received after effects. He can go even faster but it would be extremely dangerous for his body. (Like the maximum limit would be 4 time faster)

• Name: Carlos Mendoza
• Alias: Carlos
• Age: 75
• Sex: male
• Appearance: stands at 6'1 on his digigrade paws and retains the physique of a bodybuilder, making him incredibly well built for his age. While he often wears blue jeans with a hole cut out for his 18 inch tail to give him balance and a t-shirt, he is covered from head to toe in tan fur with several bald patches throughout. His face lacks a muzzle, but has a mouthful of sharp teeth, a pinkish catlike nose and teal eyes with black slits.
• Personality: Humble and always willing to assist, a kind soul who tries not to eat any of the townspeople, so he chooses to hunt down cattle and other prey near the outskirts of town, near his two story house.
• Bio: The second child out of four and the 2nd generation of a family of Mexican immigrants, he was fortunate to enjoy a middle class upbringing in a neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona and while lacking any Hispanic accent he can still speak fluent Spanish owing to his older relatives. He had graduated high school on the track to go to the Phoenix city college when the changeling virus first spread to the area. It started out reasonably well as he had gained night vision in addition to superhuman strength. But by November, a series of horrifying changes overcame him ranging from sharpening teeth to the presence of yellowish brown fur. By spring of 1965, he was a humanoid Cougar with a disturbing craving for live prey; this has lead to him violently murdering his peers and eating their muscles and organs. Stuck with the mind of a human yet the predatory instincts of a beast, he was kept in a cage as a wild animal untill he graduated from ASU in 1968 with a bachelors in education. He relocated to the then-unincorporated community of Clarkesville leaving everything he knew behind in favor of a senctuary free of scientists wanting to experiment on him. In his sanctuary, he has also found religion and has been Christian since his initial relocation and thanks his unjudging lord for the opportunities he has been given. He has seen Clarksville grow over the years during his long tenure as a teacher of third grade. Now he's retired from his long teaching career, but he is still more than willing to be a father figure to norm or changeling who might need his help.

Personality:
Most who have met Evan would call him a; "Fairly normal guy". Evan also enjoys tea, and talks quite often, engaging in conversations and befriending the most terrible type people. Some say from experience that; "Evan, he got the most insane psycho biker type guy who threatened him with a gun to turn himself into the police after he said he obtained the gun illegally." Charismatic eh?

Evan is has a moderately high IQ, just one above the average, he's learned plenty of things over the years. Making him resourceful and good in many situations.

Though, Evan experiences changes in personality in mood fairly a lot, it happens without warning and he's not exactly sure of the cause but, shit happens. He does believe on thing, it could possibly be him with his powers of some sort.

Bio:
Born and raised in Clarksville, that's all a lot of people now about him. His family is still alive and for what he remembers, he wasn't bullied or beat up in school.

Power:
Evan is essentially Kim Peek. Just with a higher IQ and whatnot. A split-brain, with amazing memory and fantastic sight, he's truly a gift to see in action. His eyes identify things very differently but can spot objects or people at terrifying speeds.

Evan has two slightly major flaws, first the terrible migraines and headaches that spiral his mind into a mess. Tylenol and Advil is taken daily to combat this, however it weakens the strength of his powers, making it almost required to endure the headaches and pain. (more listed in Personality, actually, everywhere) And two, being a split-brain, his two hemispheres cannot communicate with each other fluidly, thus, emotion cannot be conveyed through speech and he cannot feel most emotions.

Aiyana Benally | 23 | Female​

Appearance: Once brown, Aiyana has been transformed by her curse: her skin is like white hot lightning, and her eyes are a brilliant, glowing blue. Her hair, however, has remained long and braided despite changing to an intense white. She has high cheek bones and a tall figure at 5'8". She weights about 140lbs, and her figure is slim but lean and toned. She tends to wear clothes she's comfortable in, which often means shorts and simple tops in the hot Arizona weather. Her white hair is usually pilled back and off her neck in the hottest of days.

Personality: Aiyana comes off as rather serious and cool, but she is generally polite. She is oddly patient with rudeness or unkindness, usually quietly responding with a dark smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. She isn't opposed to deadpan sarcasm, though, and it often goes over others' heads. She is sensitive to being bossed around or told what to do, and can be surprisingly argumentative with others. Aiyana isn't particularly violent, but she has grown to be okay with using force against others who don't give her what she wants.

Bio: Not born in Clarksville, Aiyana was simply passing through a few weeks ago before deciding to stay. She is originally from a reservation in north eastern Arizona. By the time she graduated high school, her parents weren't around anymore, and she decided to travel to see the world...she hasn't left Arizona.

Species: Changeling, cursed

Lightning: Aiyana can summon and control electric currents. She is also resistant to being hurt by them. Her "sire" of sorts can transform into lightning and travel at quick, flashy speeds, and it's something she is trying to learn to do.​

• Name: Daniel Richards
• Alias: Dan, Mr. Richards
• Age: 32
• Sex: male
• Appearance: Daniel is a little tall for a male of his age and slightly overweight (6'1" 195 lbs). His skin is tan with a few freckles from his many travels to different countries and time spent outdoors. Daniel has curly black hair that’s riddled with white hairs. Because his round face is rather boyish, Daniel also has a slight beard which he has grown in an attempt to appear older. His black hair frames round, hazel eyes and an aquiline nose. Daniel has a small scar on the top of his right hand from a cooking incident when he was younger. That same hand has a slight shake, which he claims to be the reason he didn’t pursue art as a hobby. Since he is a teacher, Daniel tries to dress professionally at all times, usually wearing suits of some sort. He does claim to enjoy wearing “amusing” ties, however (the most notable one being a knock-off Mario tie he found while living in Indonesia), and he thinks others find them interesting, too, even though most pay little to no attention to them. His more casual clothing style is rather simple, consisting of some sort of plain button-down shirt and jeans or khakis.
• Personality: Daniel sometimes comes off as rather blunt and sarcastic, making it sometimes hard to tell when he is joking and when he is serious. Despite this, his personality is also known for being laid back, being known to not care when students skip class (He claims that it’s their loss, and if they want to speak with the headmaster for their several absences then he’s not going to stop them). Along with this, Daniel is quite sociable, and has been known to talk to others to the point where he has to rush to classes so he won’t keep the class waiting too long. Because of his many years of education, Daniel’s English classes are known for being a bit difficult, but that is just an observation of teaching style, as he does still enjoy teaching and is willing to help when asked.
• Bio: Daniel’s own father was a biology professor and one of the first to get a degree that was focused on the study Changelings. Asa result of this area of focus, Daniel’s father spe most of his time traveling to different areas of the world to study Changelings. This started before Daniel was born and continued until his father’s recent retirement only a few years ago. As a result, Daniel has learned many theories behind the origins of Changelings, how their powers work, etc. He moved to Clarksville to teach at the high school. Regarding his change in appearance, it took place when he was around five years old. The only changes that occurred was a slight change in bone structure and a change in hair color from blonde to black.
• Species: Changeling
• Power: Paper manipulation. Daniel is able to compress - and consequently harden, to a certain extent (like how paper is harder to tear when folded up), - sharpen, and/or control the movement of paper. Not wood or any other object that may come from a tree – paper. This can apply to notebook paper, origami paper, etc. There are, of course, drawbacks. First of all, Daniel cannot just make paper come out of thin air. Everything is not made of paper – we do not live in a paper world with paper people living in their paper houses and paper, papeR, p A P Er. Along with this, while Daniel is able to sharpen paper and form many pieces together to make various items, paper is still flammable, and he can only control it within a 20-mile radius .

Standing at 5'6" and weighing 117lbs, Rianne is somewhat short, especially in her relatively small family of tall men and women. She has creamy white skin that holds no blemish other than the tan teardrop shaped birthmark on her left wrist. She has straight yet slightly wavy shoulder length brown hair, framing her heart-shaped face and dark brown eyes.
Personality
Rianne has a pretty bright and bubbly personality, preferring to be in the presence of others rather than on her own. She thrives off of social interaction and can be quite excitable which tends to turn people away. She doesn't mean to drive people away with her enthusiasm to be around others, but due to her lack of experience with kids her age growing up, she's not really sure what to do about it. She loves to mess around and have fun, but she gets embarrassed quite easily, causing her abilities to activate, which also causes problems for her social life.

Tracking Evasion - Rianne has the ability to hide from any pursuing her and avoid almost total detection/discovery.
Strengths
In short, she can't be tracked down, all traces of her passing through somewhere disappear or are ignored: fallen hair, blood, skin particles, etc. will dissipate into dust and no scent is given off.
That isn't to say she can't be found, she can leave a trace behind, such as broken sticks or glass or a dropped object, whatever. She can be found but the person searching has to be observant. It's easier for those with enhanced senses to find her, but it's still a challenge, seeing as her ability is more of a defense mechanism.
Rianne is currently trying to learn how to increase her ability to extend to not leaving an electronic trace as well.
Weaknesses
While it may seem like it's impossible to find Rianne once she's activated her ability, it's really not. Depending on how clumsy she is at the moment and what's around her, it could be easier to find her if someone's paying attention. Her ability removes what's already there of hers, not whatever she creates in the area around her.
Another weakness is that she has to have a method to keep from being detected. She can't just blink and all traces of her fade from detection. No, for Rianne to avoid detection, she's found that to start the process, she has to focus on willing her birthmark to fade from her view before the rest of her can follow. It's not always a quick process, though it has been known to happen in a matter of seconds when she was younger and extremely nervous, however now that she's grown in her ability, it takes more time now to do it right.​

• Name: Joseph Stinson
• Alias: Joe
• Age: 24
• Sex: Male
• Appearance: (Joseph isn't a very big guy he stands 5ft 11in and weighs 166lbs)
• Personality: Joseph is one of the most patient men you will ever meet. He is always calm and collected even when bullets are flying. He seems to have no fear other than failure, but will often play as if he is afraid when dealing with unstable situations. Though he is an officer of the law he tries to be understanding, often letting people walk away from small charges if no harm was done.His arrogance is probably his biggest flaw, when your bullet proof you tend to forget your own humanity.
• Bio: Born and raised in San Antonio TX, Joseph Stinson has always dreamed of becoming a cop. Finding out he was bullet proof was just added incentive. He did great in his classes all throughout school, enough to earn several scholarships and open many doors for his life. Yet he made his choice, and upon graduation from highschool he went to the police academy. Surprisingly he failed his first entrance exam because he was too relaxed and had one of the lowest obstacle course time. The next year he got serious and aced the exam at the head of the class. He was recently transfered to Clarksville and he now continues his work with pride, while investigating changelings like Himself and trying to help them better understand their power and the responsibility that comes with it, he also seems to take all the Changeling related crimes on himself not wanting other officers to fall into harms way, a fact that most officers are perfectly fine with.

• Power: Nigh Invulnerability- Joseph is Virtually indestructible. He has a high resistance to any and all forms of damage. However enough of any kind of damage can hurt, for example a 9mm bullet will only feel like an airsoft gun was shot at him and will do no damage, yet a .50 Cal is capable of giving him one heck of a headache if it is a head shot. The same concept applies to other forms of damage as well, a taser wouldn't hurt him at all, but a power line has enough juice for him to feel it. However feeling it doesn't nessicarily mean he is gonna go down. Overloading his Invulnerability is to this date impossible. Nothing can make him bleed or even bruise. Despite this he isn't invincible he still needs to breath, eat, and sleep. As such smoke inhalation, drowning, and chemicals can pose a severe threat to him. Poison in his food or drink can kill him. Sleep deprivation while rarely fatal can cause him to loose his grip on reality making him easy to ambush.

Well yeah of course. Arrogance and pride are there, I mean he is bullet proof after all. I can't see him not being a little cocky.

On a side note his powers do have weaknesses and strengths.
If you are trying to directly overpower his Invulnerability you will fail. Sure you can do enough damage to hurt him but killing him is out of the question in a direct assault.

The strongest weakness he has is his lungs and stomach. The guy still needs to breath and eat. As such smoke, water, poison gas, and even ingestible chemicals are a threat to him.

༻ She's playful, even cheeky, at the best of times. Her soul seems so pure and innocent to those that don't know her well. A startling sense of humour, intelligence, and an easy-going attitude are compared to that of a perfect little angel. Lilith is far too curious for her own good, at times seeming like a child despite being a legal adult. Similarly, she's able to cheer most people up when she wants to, and she herself is quite bubbly.
But you know what they say.
The happiest people tend to be the loneliest.
༻ Not quite, in her case. Rather, she keeps a piece of herself tucked away around polite company. The part that wants nothing more than to be rich and powerful; to make her family proud and crush anyone who never took her seriously. She's determined, self-destructive. She's vindictive. Lolita is prone to jealousy and deception, the latter of which she has discovered breeds far more love than it does hate.

Brief Backstory
༻ Admittedly privileged and spoiled.
Lolita comes from an immensely competitive, influential, and wealthy family. They have gone bankrupt multiple times with risky business decisions and major lawsuits in their oil/gasoline business. Because of her easily-bored nature, she didn't want an office job. At least, not one selling and purchasing oil. From a young age she has been searching for something that she was amazing at. She could be a cooking star like Gordon Ramsay, a popular author like Rowling, or the next Picasso. But while she excelled because of her expensive education... she was never quite good enough. Her dreams of being a prodigy faded when she realised that she was only... human.
It didn't take long to start and finish her hell-bent mission. Her mother had "contacts" throughout New York, and incidentally, Arizona.
After the transfusion, she nearly went mad. She wasn't supposed to lose her eyesight. That piece of her life had been ripped away in just a few seconds of blurry vision and dizziness. For the time after, she lived with her parents, gradually learning to use her gift.
Still sympathetic, her parents moved to a small Arizonian town just months ago in an attempt to get her adjusted to being abnormal, someplace they knew she wouldn't feel quite so alone. Ironic how much that plan backfired—she had never felt more alone in her life than when she stepped into that "small" five-hundred-thousand dollar house.


Power
༻ Echolocation. This is self-explanatory. Despite being blind, she's able to "see" objects based on their sound waves and how long it takes for a noise to reach her ears. This sensitive hearing is doubly helpful when it's dark or faced with a very bright light, where as other people may be held back by their eyesight.
Very obviously, her weakness is her lack of vision. Aside from this, her ability doesn't work in very loud, crowded environments and high-pitched noises can be down-right painful.
