A Camp Camp 1x1 Search
Hey, what's up? I'm Pilot. I'm a severely depressed sucker who's looking to suppress my gross human emotions by distracting myself with some very specific (and honestly cliche) Camp Camp plots. I'm looking for campy storytelling, moments of drama and angst that lead to character building, and that good ol' juvenile RT sense of humor.

My plots take place after the end of Season 2 and center on the relationship between Max and David but N O T shipping them. Max is like...10, my dudes. That's not okay and I ain't budging on that. Ever. So, no romance. Strictly platonic frenemy/ brotherly feels here.

*( If you want to do a Camp Camp based roleplay with romance between adult characters (your OCs are welcome), then that's fine with me. I'll plot that with you and even play a canon for you. It just not gonna happen in the two plots I've got listed below.)

About the Writer

A summary of my roleplaying style
Status = Looking
Age = late 20's (prefer 18+ partners so I don't feel ancient & weird)
Medium = Private Messages or Threads
Style = Lit to Adv. Lit, 3rd person (Want partners with similar style)
Length = 2-5ish~Paragraphs (Want partners with a similar range).
Frequency = Fluctuates due to work schedule, but usually can post a few times a week.
Samples = Available upon request
Roles = Overall, I will play Canons, OCs, Villians, NPCs, etc. For the plots below, I'll play either David or Max.
Limits = RPN rules, Fine with cursing and violence
Extremely open to OOC chatter and plotting!
Also extremely open to your OCs, Plots, and AUs!
I'd greatly appreciate if you came to me with an idea of what you'd like to do, what character you'd like to play, etc. Give me a bit of an intro rather than just telling me you're interested, please?

Slice of Life / Drama Plot

Plot 1: David's Still Not Getting Overtime Pay
It only takes a week of being back home from Camp for Max to reach a boiling point with his parents. Encouraged and emboldened by the validation he received from Gwen and David after the parent's day breakdown, he vehemently challenges his folks about their absent parenting. After a long argument with hurtful words exchanged on both sides, Max flees in the middle of the night and takes a bus back to the one place he's got left to go--Camp Cambell. When he arrives, he's shocked (and a little pissed) to discover that David is still there, taking care of a few final chores before locking down the camp for the year. David takes Max to the local police station to report that he's been found safely, but when the officers hear Max's story, they opt to put him into Child Protective Services rather than send him home. Concerned, David explains that he's been one of Max's caretakers for the past few summers and offers to continue to look after him until this whole legal mess can be sorted out. To the camp councilor's surprise, the police, Max's parents--and most shockingly of all--Max himself agree to this. (If only because David is way easier to manipulate than a bunch of government officials). Now the two of them are in David's car, headed for his apartment. They've got a long rocky road ahead of them, and neither of them is quite sure how this whole mess will work out, but there's no going back now.

((Just a whole bunch of feels and David trying his damnedest to make his house a home to Max. Max probably fighting it almost every step of the way. Both of them learning more about each other, seeing the cracks under the surface and finding a sort of kinship in that over time. Probably a lot of fighting and wacky antics that'll make us laugh in between.))

Supernatural / Horror Plot

Plot 2: How I Earned My Zombie Survival Bage
News reports have been flooding in of a deadly virus spreading through the country. Worried parents have flocked to Camp Campbell to pick up their children and bring them home to wait out the epidemic. Although he's not entirely surprised, Max is still a little hurt when his parents never show despite Gwen and David's attempts to contact them. Days pass and the news reports are only getting more grim, with signs that the infection is creeping ever closer to Sleepy Peak. Knowing it's unsafe to say, David vows to take Max to his parents himself. Together, the two must face the dangers of a rapidly changing world, learn to count on one another the survive the dangerous trek ahead, and--yeah you know--more zombie apocalypse cliches. Personal Angst and inner demon battles thrown in there too because Zombie outbreaks are always a good time to dredge that sort of thing up.

(( This is cliche as hell, but eh. I'm dying for some good ol' fashioned zombie BS. Really with these two. I want 'em to fight even while they're watching each other's backs. Max crumbling a little because damn, it's rough that his folks STILL aren't there for him. Also, Max calling bullshit on every zombie trope they encounter. I want David trying to be a shining beacon of goodness and hope despite the way the world's going. I want these two to learn about each other and how they're both fucked up and hiding pain under the surface. I want 'em to worry about each other when the going gets rough. And I for sure want all the arid and slapstick humor still shoved in there somewhere. ))
