    Other Roleplay Pet peeves

When people frame things in roleplay so you have to create all the story and they don't actually contribute anything For example "And they sat quietly and watched what would happen" "They waited to hear what they would say" "They listened in"

Viewpoint How do you feel about self-inserts? Is it weird for you or just me?

I was going to say the exact same thing. it amazes me how long some people stay in contact with toxic people. no disrespect intended to OP; i know that in reality, it's far more complicated when you're emotionally involved and invested time and energy into as opposed to a random bloke on the...

Viewpoint Which do you prefer for OOC?

I prefer it where the rp is. either onsite in seperate message threads or in a discord server where you can break it into channels. I generally prefer discord as it's easier to keep tidy and organised but ultimately, I want it in the same place otherwise my simple mind will get confused lol

    Other Roleplay Pet peeves

I put up an advert that is clearly a MxM platonic friendship rp. throughout the advert, it was clear. Someone messaged me "Cant the 2 main characters be romantic? Like M/F" No, because that's clearly not the point of the roleplay. Why don't you reply to someone who's actually doing an MxF...

Viewpoint What makes you turn down an RP opportunity

not being proactive in contributing. I think both people should be involved in the roleplay. so if they constantly just say 'i don't mind' when talking about ideas, I leave. people who clearly haven't read my advert. reading is a big part of roleplaying and if they don't even read the advert...

Viewpoint Do you read the public RPs?

occasionally I do but not often/ I'm not against doing it, I guess I never really think about. I've always written privately so it doesn't occur to me to go and read others I guess. I certainly don't think it's weird (unless you do it in a creepy way!) I would love it, if someone messaged me...

Experiences Your least liked and favourite part of a Character Sheet to do?

least favourite is appearance I find it a bit boring and it's not as important to me or the roleplay generally. I love doing personality; seeing what makes them tick.

Viewpoint How do you feel about self-inserts? Is it weird for you or just me?

to some degree, we probably all do. I have definitley add a few things in like I had a character who hated mushroom (as do I) or like rock music like I do. However, I don't insert myself as in make them exactly like me. the problem with that, is they often blur the lines of roleplay and...

Advice/Help How do you like a role play to start?

that's interesting, I get intimated by group rp so I prefer 1x1 ha ha. I think just because it seems group will be more complicated; more differing opinions, more difficulty in scheduling )particularly if it's different time zones etc). particulary if it's an existing roleplay as then you've got...

Experiences whats with the people on here....

It's a deal breaker for me because I'm male and most of my roleplays are based around romance. I don't feel comfortable writing romance content with minors because if someone were to find it, there would definitely be suspicions around me, maybe more. it sucks that these assumptions exists but...

Advice/Help How do you like a role play to start?

Communicate and plan beforehand. it depends on the individual; some people love only a paragraph and are very action focused. others write mini novellas with lots of descriptive detail; there's no right or wrong but there may be compatible and incompatible partners. COMMUNICATION IS SO...

Experiences Do you have a busy life or are you socially anxious?

i'm 100% the same. because I often post daily or multiple times a day, when I can't for a few days I get anxious and it just puts me off so I wait longer and it can spiral. particulary if i'm doing longer or advanced lit because they take more time and energy so it's harder to get back into it...

    1. Cultural interchange between Valora and Crowfell has been limited historically. The long-standing rivalry and occasional conflicts have created a divide, making cultural exchange challenging. 2. The Language is very similar but not precisly the same. I guess it's like a dialect so it's...

They would have heard tales and rumors from traders and travelers. Stories of exotic landscapes, strange customs, and different ways of life. But truth be told, it's mostly a tapestry woven from fragments of imagination and distant whispers. The realities of those faraway lands remain elusive...

Our biggest threat is Crowfell. The history between Valora and Crowfell is marked by a long and bitter rivalry, with a history of wars and deep-seated animosity. We share a contentious border that has been a source of conflict for generations. These two kingdoms have often been at odds, with...

The most perilous experience I encountered during my days as a squire was a fierce skirmish with a band of raiders while we were on a mission to protect our kingdom's border. We were outnumbered and caught off guard, and the enemy was well-armed and ruthless. It was a brutal and chaotic battle...
