I know the older Samsung smartphones had to have firmware updates. It was like a system update, but you had to use a program on the computer to do it. It may be something like that. I have never had a Windows phone.
LG is a pretty good phone brand. My dad gets LG phones and they are pretty sturdy and they never have any issues, as far as I know. I know my dad's belt clip was broke and he dropped it a bunch of times and it still works.
Oh! It's an HTC. Girl, everyone has problems like that with that phone. My sis-in-law had hers restart multiple times a day. Just get a Samsung next time. HTC is always faulty.
