Xolkin didn't take too much of a pause to listen to what the goblin had to say. As the creature chortled and laughed, Xolkin casually stepped closer and, with a swift stab in the throat, ended its life, after which the two that were holding him let him...
Well, since I assume there'll be no more posting from the inactive peeps, we now have a party of 3, soon to be 4, which still works :)
I'll work on a general update post today. If there's anything anyone wanted to do before that but was too late, we can obviously do a bit of a flashback scene
@Creek @PlayWight @Lazaro1505 @Sherwood @Psychie
You guys haven't posted in quite a while, which is fine of course. Just for the sake of clarity, please let me know if you still plan on picking things back up here. You can definitely also just ignore this message if you feel awkward about it...
At this moment, the chief just got done knocking out Sasha and is now focusing his attention on Athaclenna. The others (both guards and orcs) are just battling it out amongst themselves. There's two of the guards with crossbows standing on the bridge
As to the state the orcs are in, they all...
The fight over there is pretty much over from the PC perspective anyway. If you wanna get started, you can just make a post as a guard seeing how the battle is going and making the decision he would make!

As the band of mercenaries slowly began to recover from the brief but intense combat, Hommett kept a sickly pale color on his face, which might have not been too surprising for a man that had just faced death. Xolkin clicked his tongue with a head gesture at one of his...
@Sara Sidereal
I had something like that in mind for you, yeah! That fight may not be the most comfortable place to be right now if you're looking to start off in combat, but if you have some kind of plan in mind, I'd say you could just take the place of one of the guards in there. Let me know...
Ah right, apparently I can't see those tabs, I didn't know about that :^)
You may have to join my "campaign" on there:

Stats look good! Just try to think of some character traits, personality, background, ... just some things to flesh him out a little, we're mostly focusing on character interactions after all :)

As the small horde of goblins ran off, the mercenaries seemed pretty happy to just let them go. Xolkin didn't even take time to watch them go, just immediately sheathing his weapon and running ahead to where the cart finally came to a stop. As he climbed on top of it...
Thinking about it, it may be because these were just two large scale encounters with lots of characters that I had to keep track of. They seemed narratively super cool so I really wanted to do them, but every time I wanted to write a post I'd have to check who moved where, check damages, make...
@Dethrix @Idea @TeikiFox
Widespread chaos erupted as soon as Ehlark slapped the horses' reins. Hommett's unconscious body shook in the seat, lying on its side and dangerously close to falling off, bleeding onto the seat and the floor. The cart shot forward, the horses mindlessly and...
Well, at this point Athaclenna would in fact also notice that they're very outmatched. The round is yours though, and there's some options. And just as a reassuring note OOC, I'm not really planning to just straight up kill you guys right now
I'm taking three days off at the start of next week and am hoping to get a post out today, so we can hopefully get through the combat. Sorry this took longer everyone, these combat rounds have been a huge hassle to organize (which is why I'll really need to rethink the format a bit) and work's...
Sure thing, we can work you in there :) Go ahead and check out the Characters thread for a quick intro and for you to post your character in, we should be coming up on a general update relatively soon where I can get you up to speed easily
you're both very close to it but with the quick verbal warning i'd say just a 10
if it's a fail, i'll say roll 1d6 bludgeoning damage, and a DC 8 athletics or acrobatics check to save yourself from going prone
Well in this case definitely yes. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't over if he should die, but it mostly just feels extremely anticlimactic to have him just eat dirt in the very first round of combat :p Might've kind of underestimated the potential damage.
