After too many days of struggling to find any momentum, I think for the time being I should give the game a pass.
My apologies for dragging my feet so long.
If the situation changes, I'll come back and see if you folks want me in.
I feel especially bad about it because I think that this game is...
I'm still going through the overwhelming amount of charms in the core. T_T
Yssun will have no combat charm whatsoever because 1) I'm pretty sure the rest of the Circle can defeat a medium-sized nation in single combat anyway and 2) I really don't want to go through the new system.
Yssun was part of a guerrilla art collective, their satirical work was responsible for undermining the authority of a local satrap in Sihqe.
The satrap got pissed, found them and had their lair burned, with them inside.
Only Yssun survived, by grace of the Unconquered Sun, but she is left...
A society rigidly divided in hereditary castes, to the point where instead of family names, caste names are used.
Different laws apply to different castes.
The higher castes are the leaders (military, religious, economical), the mid castes are the free people (artisans, soldiers, scholars)...
Wail shoves Nydian forth, or rather *tries*, given how unimpressive his strength is versus the mighty Claw of the South.
But hopefully the message is loud, clear, and most importantly, quick.
"You go first, big guy."
Excited, the skinny Lunar will follow a close second.
I would like to see conflicts in personalities, philosophies and ideologies.
What really motivates heroes and commoners? What calls do they heed?
I like the idea of keeping our game around two, three kingdoms.
Re character:

Happy to give it a shot then.
I am far too lazy to go through the E3 combat charms, so I will play a character with just enough Resistance charms to survive.
I have two concepts in mind: a Night/Twilight spy master or a Zenith figurative artist, depending on how well it would work with the...
I've been very much on the sidelines, since the game seemed to had halted badly around the time I was invited.
Per experience, a game can survive if one of the players posts every week, but not if the ST does, it kills the sense of flow and engagement that the players have.
This is a lot more...
Wail snarls.
"Say what.
You'll excuse us for not trusting you outright, because you are dodgy as, and we'll excuse you for thinking that we tend to solve our problems by murdering them, because, to be fair, we do tend to do that.
You'll find that even those of us most enthusiastic about...
With his brain chugging to put all pieces together, Wail manages to keep his less intelligible thoughts away from his mouth.
"Where those come from?" he asks, glancing at the soulsteel worn by the three.
"That metal you are wearing is literally made of tortured souls, and it's involved in the...
