Ryunosuke nodded, still smiling, and stuck his hands in his pockets.
"Agreed."
He spun on his heel and began walking to the rooftop entrance.
"So... what classes are you taking, Nagisa-senpai?"
Akari proceeded to threaten to call up a bunch of Avon ladies and nail him to the sidewalk by his shoulders until they got there if he continued to backtalk her.
[Hey, can I ask a question? Do you guys mind if I change the apartment to a house? I feel like it'd be more convenient.]"That's... good." She said, unable to think of anything else to keep a conversation. And Yukki didn't look like she wanted anything to do with her. And she was going to pretend...
C-calm down, Akari- don't laugh, you have to take him seriously- you have to-
"'s fine," she said, managing to keep a straight face. "We're almost there. You should probably savor the time I'm not interrogating you, though."
She turned her head back to her phone, huffing and beginning to...
Akari hopped onto the sidewalk and crossed her arms between her head nonchalantly as she walked down it.
"Egh- crap-" she muttered, remembering to whip out the power of 3G wireless networking once again and look up her address, realizing that they had been relatively close to their destination...
"Is there something wrong?" She snarled, snapping her head in his direction.
Then she stopped. Kylen wasn't to blame for how uncouth this cabbie was.
"Sorry." Akari grumbled, stepping away. "Yeah, there is. We're walking."
"Ma'am, there's something wrong with the taxi. It's too dangerous-"
"Yes, sir, I understand. And I do not care."
"Ma'am, if you're a mother that cares about her kids, you'll let me go take this car to the shop and catch another cab."
"There are no other cabs, and- waiiiiit a second-"
Apparently, Akari was one hell of an actor. Hah, she'd have to deal with a lot of paperwork if she actually hijacked a car.
Going up to the taxi, she knocked on the door. Backing up around five yards wasn't much at all, but noticing little things was what detectives were for, right?
He...
She sighed.
"Yeah. It is, isn't it?"
She wrung out her hands. The entire thing was taking too much time.
Ah, screw it. There's nobody in the taxi but the driver.
She began to jog over to it.
Ryunosuke stared at her, bemused, then laughed. He thought about following her lead, but didn't know the song she was humming- and didn't have to courage to dance, anyway. He'd probably just embarrass himself.
The announcement for the start of school surprised him, and he jerked himself into a...
Ryunosuke rubbed the back of his head.
"...thanks." He muttered, blushing and embarrassed. It had been a really long time since he had gotten a compliment.
"Yeah- thank god-"
When he thought about it, now that they were up there, the chances of anyone actually purchasing what he had to offer were pretty slim- but hey, it didn't matter.
Also breathing heavily, Ryuosuke flashed her a grin and two thumbs up, walking behind the roof's entrance.
I...
"Business! Roof! We're going! Fresh bread!" He said, panting in between words. He fully intended to make it to the rooftop before anyone else could- excluding his senpai, who he'd let eat for free, because she seemed cool.
Ryunosuke would be pretty upset if nobody ever showed up on the roof...
