Well the scars from being impaled probably wouldn't be there if Deku wasn't around, unless he was targeted. And the ones in the last war would still be there, but it depends on the rules about spoilers in this group. I'd love the scars, honestly.

Ok, so we can have the quirks, it can give a direction for the story at least! Even as just a bonus, as I also like the idea of building relationships being the primary subject.

I like the quirks, but then again, I haven't played my character without them yet so it would be interesting. I'm cool either way :D

No worries, I'm happy to have people join who haven't seen it all, I can imagine some will be like yourself and some would be up to date with the comic (I've most finished it myself). This story doesn't have to be set in stone like canon, we are probably going to alter some parts anyway :)...
