Finally heard back from Eldagusto. He wants to play, but doesn't have reliable enough internet.
Don't really know where to go from here. Don't really want to end the game, but I have absolutely no motivation to go hunting for more players.
Thoughts?
Alright, turns out Gonzo can't join after all. He's busy and doesn't think he'll have time.
tealeavergood never got back to me.
Gonna keep trying with Eldagusto and maybe Chejop Kejak.
Well, I finally sent out the messages. Procrastinated because honestly, I don't like recruiting very much.
Not sure Eldagusto will receive what I sent him on RPGnet. Do you know a better way to contact him? I seem to have lost his email.
In order to make it less silly, I'm thinking the new...
Anyone specific that you want to invite?
I think I might reach out to Gonzo and Eldagusto. And to tealevergood, who I don't know but who asked to join a while back.
Any objection to playing with them?
Also, any ideas about how to add more Solars without making things silly?
Do you think we should do some recruiting?
It might be hard to add players right now, given that we're in the Wyld. But it seems like the thing to do when you're down to one player...
Okay, well, we can't wait forever. I have mixed feelings about going ahead with a one-player game, though. And I don't really see a way to continue this scene without me taking over a PC, which I really dislike doing.
What do you think we should do, JayTee?
@Cirno?
Waiting for you here, both for the mutation roll and to see what you have Ukkoya do. I don't want to assume you're just going along with the "leave behind the demons and rush" plan.
And speaking of the demons...JayTee, are you leaving them all behind or just the apes?
As the demons pull the sailors up, you hear the sound of footsteps. Lots of them, coming towards you, up from the depths of the island's central caverns. Hard to judge how far away they are, in these echoing tunnels...
Regardless, it makes going down the mountainside seem more urgent. Problem...
The ride is surprisingly smooth at first - the agata does all the work, Kyros just sits still. But as the sorcerer and his demon leave the cavern, a strong headwind hits them. It's all Kyros can do to hang on as the wasp lands.
Kyros and his demon stand at the mouth of a mountaintop cave...
It was part of your demon mob, right?
The battle group was nearly destroyed, so I arbitrarily handed out injuries to some of the members in my post on November 13.
If you intended that only the blood apes were fighting, then I guess I'll hand its wounds to one of the blood apes. Which...
(You still need to roll to scale that slippery slope. Dexterity + Athletics 1 to climb it, or 3 if you're helping the wounded up.
Also, bear in mind the Agata's wounded. Can still fly, but not terribly well. Can't count on it to deal with this problem for you.)
Third Cloud seems to shrink, almost. His voice is low and hopeless.
"Fine."
Reln sighs.
"Worst feeling in the world, when you have to give up. But it's good to beat yourself to death against a wall.
We've got rum back on the ship. You can drink this away."
