The Thunder Gates disintegrated as they collapsed inward. Not one mourned the loss of the intricately designed and ancient structure. Immediately after the gates of the fortress were brought crumbling down, excavators descended upon the entrance to clear the debris. Pioneers and armed soldiers...
The fortress dungeon of Baal, a vast subterranean complex beneath the Cascadian Mountains. An ancient hellscape the size of a city. This sprawling underworld is estimated to contain hundreds of miles of tunnels, some high enough to build a skyscraper within. Its chained and cursed caverns, built...
Naval history and Warhammer 40k. I could go off for hours on either. It's actually hard to talk about because if someone asks, I have to bite my tongue or I'll give them a multi-page essay.
Recently finished Mobile-Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury.
Mostly good. Has pacing issues and character motivations flip on a dime. Fight scenes are alright, but coming off Iron-Blooded Orphans, my expectations might be a little high. Overall great series though. Tugged at my heart strings.
Teel Finback. Training Arena. Interaction: @Maeve Valor
Teel cocked a weary eyebrow when she told him about biting people. He knew he'd probably meet interesting people at beacon, so he didn't really know why this caught him off guard.
"Uh, no. I can't do that. My teeth do grow back though...
Teel Finback. Training Arena. Interaction: @Maeve Valor
Hearing a voice, Teel looked around him before realizing it came from above and behind him. He almost jumped a little when he came face-to-face with a girl hanging in an unnatural position. At first, he was worried she had fallen, but...
Teel Finback. Beacon Courtyard. No interactions.

Shield Hero, Goblin Slayer and the like.
I hate being lured with "cool edgy hero" (I like that) but only getting that for the first 2-3 episodes and everything after is a bland harem anime, self-insert powertrip or just outright boring.
The problem comes with writing an other-than-good ending. Either the ending is unfulfilled, which is boring to the audience; or it's bad, which is very hard to do in a way that doesn't feel like a cop out. Which is why you'll usually see side-characters get the "bad ending".
Daytona heard more radio calls but they were marred by static and his limited range. He began searching for a way to boost his range. With a purpose, he began sifting through debris until he found a long metal rod, that seemed to be made out of conductive material. He stabbed it upright into the...
Daytona trudged through the sand towards the ship that appeared to be the Blackbird. The desert heat was not kind to his internal temperature, though he was still capable of regulating it. As he drew closer, he took note of several geological features that appeared on his sensors. He was...
