"Oh." I rub the back of my neck. "Uh, forget it, okay? I should be going. Free period's almost over, and I should get back to my dorm." I turn around and begin to walk away.

I laugh. "That'd be cooler if everything wasn't in Latin already. They don't know what I'm saying either way, but I'm considering learning some Japanese curses and stuff. It I good, though, because I can pretend I don't speak English if I don't want to talk to them."

"Um, I can write pretty well. Draw, I guess. I'm pretty fast, and I can speak Japanese. None of those things are remotely useful, though, so it doesn't matter."

"Really? That's pretty cool, Jacobi."

I shrug. "I could do it on your map, if you want. I'd be happy to help if it means I get to laugh at more people."

"Eh, I'll keep it. I guess it'll be useful for pranking people. Ever head of the Marauders Map from Harry Potter? I know a curse that can do that. Came to say thanks."

"I'm sorry I broke your fragile heart," I say, pouting.

I knock on (which according to my new and completely unnecessary map is) Jacobi's door. "What the fuck is this?! I told you I didn't need a map." I hope he was actually in there, and I wasn't talking to his roommate. "I am insulted," I joke.

I walk back to my dorm, but halfway there wished I would have gone to Latin instead. Oh, well. I'm sure they'll let me start tomorrow, and I really need some rest. I shadow traveled around all day yesterday, got no sleep, and shadow traveled again today. I get cranky when I'm tired, and today...

I sigh. "Sorry, I'm really tired. I guess I'll just chill in my room for free, because I haven't a roommate and it's quiet." (I've got to go!)

"Wow, a growl. That's really scary. Seriously, just stay in one form."

I give a small smile. "Good." I think for a second. "Hunting sounds cool." Then, I roll my eyes at Jacobi. "It won't happen again, I can shadow travel next time- I'm just tired. I don't get lost that easily, I swear. Wait- why are you mapping the school?"
