TBH the biggest reason I don't RP anymore is I can't stay invested. Sometimes I really have a good idea for what I want to do and then I just lose interest for no reason other than something being boring or monotonous. It's hard finding the right chemistry and I can't invest if it isn't there, maybe I just wasn't born to RP realistically or maybe I haven't found the right one yet, but it's a huge discourager.
