    Ghosting is a common occurrence. As much as I would like to reassure you, it wouldn't be right to lie to you about it. This is going to keep happening, you can either learn to cope with it and have some patience or this hobby may not be for you.

    Lol, true enough, it's pretty common now. Think I just got used to the more old school rp'ers that cared more about a character and their overall plot. Characters that had no 'redo' button, and their story was a continuation of their experiences instead of a "I have shiney new toy, oh wait there is another one over there" mentality. I guess rp'n on going stories for yrs with friends is just a thing of the past. :(

    Well, it can still happen, it's a matter of finding the right people. I won't deny there is a harmful mentality towards sustainable roleplay, I often talk about it in the discussion forum myself. That said there are definitely still people out there willing to commit.
