Sure thing! Please pick at least one character from the Galra Empire and the Coalition, too, if you would. We won't be using them all at the same time (the RP focuses on the paladins, after all) but we do need to fill those roles.

Hello. Since I've never roleplayed before, would I be okay for a character or should I not join this particular group? I don't want to mess anything up, and I also am uncertain if I could stay active for periods of time.

This RP is open to everyone, regardless of how long they've been RPing for (: I'm hoping for everyone to post at least once a day, though. Once we fill the roles we can all discuss in the OOC what kind of schedule would work for us. That way we can keep things moving but we don't all have to spend that long online if we don't want to/cannot do so.

You can play both, certainly! Pick whichever Galra is available and I'll add you to the lists (: Unless you're creating an OC you don't need to fill out a form.

hmm... yeah, i'll go with hunk, just because keith might be an easier spot to fill because he has so many fans?

anyway, if you ever want to do a separate klance roleplay, just let me know!

I would have liked to play Keith, though, looking back on the consequences of playing Keith, I would probably choose to play Pidge (although now that I think about it, if I play Keith's mom and Keith at the same time I could make them interact exactly as I would have imagined it Oh THIS IS HARD TO DECIDE).

As Galra, I would like to play Axca, purely because of her most mysterious personality type. It's hard to pin her down with such lack of extreme characteristics as the other generals do.

My Keith's Mom OC:

Name: Tavah (subject to change if necessary, meaning, I'm absolute garbage at naming things)

Age: Unknown (I would like for input on Galra life spans)

Gender: Female

Species: Galra

Appearance: Muscular build, medium tallish height. She has long hair brushed back from her face completely and it curls a little down her neck, reaching just above her shoulder. Standard armor and gear. She does have the ears and the yellow eyes of many Galra, and she also sports fangs. Her face is angular, and eyebrows arching. Color of skin is primarily dusky purple, with a darker shade for her hair.

Personality: Brash and headstrong, the type who enjoys a good fight with a good laugh afterward. A blunt nature that takes no prisoners. She will ask you a question like she already knows the answer. The kind that is perceptive only in certain ways, and her loyalty may sometimes blind her to reality. Since her days as a normal Galra soldier of the empire, she has become more attuned to the bigger picture. Ever since she was young, she always felt the urging of something more, something out there in the universe, something she felt was there for her.

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Crush: N/A, though I would say she loves Keith's father, whom I have been calling Steve in my head the entire time.

Faction: Coalition, Galra rebellion, Blade of Marmora etc.

Other (I made it the backstory): She grew up from when she was young as a loyal Galra soldier, with the word of only Zarkon and his Empire as her source of knowledge. As a child, she was rebellious, and enjoyed the field as a training solider more than most. She had a friend in the intermediate stages as a soldier, who one day, as their family member were found out to be traitors giving information to the rebellion, disappeared without a trace. She questioned this, but was reprimanded by her fellow soldiers that a traitor's connection reached far. When she was ready for real battle, she was assigned to planetary exploration in pursuit of expanding the Galra empire. As she was trained for this from the very beginning of her life, she did as she was told, and made it far as one of the best soldiers in their conquests of other systems. As distasteful as she found some of the actions of her own peers, she did not question her orders, as she believed it was for the good of the Galra.

As she was promoted, she requested a change in position in a solo mission of deep space exploration, which they granted her after some debate. She traveled far, searching for the something that has eaten away at her since she was little, before her ship malfunctioned, and she was forced to landing on one of the planets along the way. The small ship's communication and engine has shut down, and she needed to fix it.

She then met a hermit in the desert. A astrophysicist as well as an astronautical engineer.

Steve. (Keith's dad, if you despise that name as much as I take glee in it).

He fixed her ship, fast-forward to when she already left and revisited Earth, after realizing the worth of individuals, finding the faults of her race's empire, slowly falling in love, and having Keith, she must leave, spend time in other systems and other worlds to pull the suspicion away from Earth. She then returned to the Galra main system, and there, after working for years in agitation and frustration, was sought out by Thace, tested, and recruited into the Blade of Marmora. She never found the chance to go to Earth without endangering it further. Keith may resent her for never even meeting her, or he may just not know what to make her her, at all. Awkward interactions at best between the two of them, at least at first.
