Devil Fruit Progression:

  • If your character starts with a powerful Logia or Paramecia fruit, they may need lower stats elsewhere for balance.
  • Awakening a Devil Fruit requires major story-driven growth and battles.
  • Logia users must train their intangibility reflexes—inexperienced users can be caught off guard.

Basic Information

  • Name: Aya Thorn
  • Epithet: Hummingbird
  • Age: 24
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Cyborg
  • Faction: Pirate
  • Role on Crew: Sharpshooter / Hacker
  • Bounty: 10,000,000

Appearance

  • Height & Build: Aya is pretty short, standing at 162 cm (or 5'4 in freedom units) but she makes up for that part with a rather wide and bulky build, visibly athletic.
  • Hair & Eye Color: She's got that classic tumblr punk hair swoop. Undercut, long enough to swoop over her face and part of her left eye, cut incredibly short elsewhere. As for her eyes, they are a golden shade of yellow.
  • Distinct Features: There is a big scratch over her right eye. Her left arm is fully robottic, silver and copper.
(If the game kicks up frfr i plan on making art of her so i'm keeping this section p short lmao)

Personality & Motivations

  • Personality Traits: Aya is a loudmouthed, brash shithead of a sailor. She is loud, cocky and arrogant. It takes a certain type of person to be able to work alongside Aya, that is to say, someone equally as carefree or someone extremely patient.
  • Core Beliefs & Values: The world we live in is just a dull grey mess, and unless you live in it to colour it with your spirit, your life does not matter.
  • Dream or Goal: Find a meaning in life, ever since the world government took a hard turn into cybernettics the world has felt so lackluster and pointless. Aya wishes to just live a life that's fun, try everything, do everything, to see if there was any meaning to it whatsoever, and she'll either die or find that meaning to keep living for.
  • Fears & Weaknesses: Aya fears the reality where all she's lived for turns out to be pointless. And she's afraid of aging. As for weaknesses, she's reckless, brash and carefree. She isn't afraid of death either, which means there is pretty much nothing stopping her from any of her impulsive thoughts and plans, and unless you use physical force it's near impossible to convince her not to do something once she's set her mind to it.
  • What Does What They Do Mean to Them? Not much. That's why she's looking for something new.

Abilities & Combat Style

  • Fighting Style: Aya is a mixture of a up close and personal brawler and a mid-to-long distance sniper with her heavy revolver. It is slow to aim and reload, hence leading to her usual tactic of hit and run strategies, getting in close and using a wild ferocity to put their opponent on the defensive, from there she will use her gun to take a potshot. Of course, she's adaptable enough to switch it up if need be. Then there's her Cybernetics, that being her left arm, which she can use to send out a small number of insectoid drones to control from afar. So far, she has not engineered them to do more than recon and one other thing, using some really durable alloy, they are capable of reflecting gunshots, allowing her to set up wombo-combos and attacking her opponents from behind while shooting from the front, or simply having her bugs fly into her opponents for chip damage.
  • Devil Fruit (If Any): N/A
  • Haki (If Any): N/A
  • Weapons & Gear: A massive, meaty fucking revolver, the type to rip your arm of if not stabilized with, say, a mechanical one.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (If Any): Aya's left arm is mechanical in nature, and serves as the "docking port" for her insectoid drones which she can control with said arm. The hand also has tools capable of jacking into various technology.
  • Special Techniques: TBD (i usually make them up on the spot)
  • Strengths & Notable Skills: Aya is very adept at hacking, she is fluent in infiltration in devices to gather files, open passages and overwriting access.

History & Lore

    • Backstory: Aya was once a member of the world government, namely a member of Cipher Pol X (not sure which number) where she was apart of a team of infiltrative hackers. A group that were moderately skilled at fighting, but the whole point of the group was just to infiltrate enemy bases to gather information, whether that meant sneaking in, infiltrating through disguise, or simply blasting their way though. It was different every mission. And Aya was a very good worker during this period. She was actually picked up off of an island with very few resources and technology, her family allowing her to leave home at a young age as they hoped she might make them some money. Aya never saw them again, supposedly the island had been attacked by some enemy faction to the world government when Aya was off at a Boot Camp to learn how to shoot and hack. The original plan for Aya was to join the marine corps, get a chip to start upgrading her with some gear, and send her off to be one of the many soldiers in the Grand Line, Aya was okay with this after all she didn't have much to return to anyways. However, an inspector grade marine had been keeping an eye on the recent recruits for anyone more adept at hacking and technology-based stuff, Aya was one of them. So she was recruited and once again ripped away from what little of a home she had.

    • From there, Aya was officially instated as a member of CP X and began her missions, she was quickly trained in more and more hacking, and whilst she was no longer being trained physically, she picked up just enough to stay alive on her missions. Things were going alright. Aya was comfortable, she was making money now, and she was being a model employee. She'd get shit done, no talking needed. In fact, Aya didn't talk much at all during this period. It wasn't until they needed their best member of this group to go undercover that that became an issue. Aya was sent onto a pirate ship to infiltrate their crew, hack into the biroid captain and fuck with his optics. Not only was it a dangerous mission, but it was WAY out of Aya's pay grade. Undercover stuff was for CP-9 not her little group of mostly amateur members in the North Blue. But she didn't see the point in rejecting the mission. Either she'd die on the mission, or she'd be fired (probably, she never asked) and starve to death on the street. And Aya argued a bullet was the quicker way to go, so she took on the quest.

    • Her target was in a tavern when she found them, and she began to join their celebrations. She drank with them, she sang with them, she even joined them as they plundered a nearby town, all to build a cover. Of course, she had never really been invited to the crew. So when she made her move, infiltrating the captain's quarters and night, she was quickly overpowered by two of the crew who'd been keeping an eye on her. They debated killing her, but argued it was smarter to send the world government a message. Leave them alone, or worse will happen than what Aya was about to go through. Of course, Aya wasn't too happy about this conclusion. She'd expected death if she failed, not torture. A few days later, Aya was found ashore on an island, her left arm jammed into a big bottle beside her with a note. "We're leaving for the Grand Line, stay the fuck away."

    • At the end of it all, Aya was left in a marine hospital, a coworker overwatching her recovery, when Aya asked them to get her her savings. When she recieved what she scrounged together from her years of work for the world government, and when she learnt it wasn't even enough to replace her lost arm, she snapped. She pulled her gun on her co-worker and screamed for more money. The co-worker, being apart of the world government just like her would instead begin a brawl, during which Aya's gun misfired and ended their life. Inside the marine hospital. Aya quickly gathered her things, looted what money the body was carrying, and escaped. Her connection with the WG was now severed, and she stole just enough money to get an arm put together with scraps and pieces. From there, she went barhopping, starting street brawls, and generally just being a miserable person. Perhaps the promise of a future withing a pirate crew could snap her out of it? Only time will tell.
    [*]

    • Major Connections: Aya has connections to CP-X (which one iunno), as well as knowing the pirate she was undercover at on a name-by-name basis. Beyond that she's pretty much a ghost.
    • Ties to the World Government & AI: Aya is kind of neutral on the whole concept of AI, she doesn't fully jig with it but she doesn't care strongly enough to fight against it. As for her ties to the world government itself, she used to be okay with it, she saw it as a nessecary evil. But now she's had enough of their bullshit, especially with how after all her years of loyality she still needed to rob someone to afford something like a mechanical arm. Something the government should've, in her opinion, offered her for free after she lost her arm.
    • Reputation & Notoriety: Aya isn't too well known in the world, but in abandoning Cipher Pol and causing a bit of damage she amassed a small bounty. Most would not know of her though, just those in her little circle in the world government might have talked about her to their friends and so on.
    [*]
  • (I don't mind if you peak or not, it's not too important, but if you wanna find it out in-game feel free to skip this.)

Extra Details

  • Quirks & Habits: Aya is very bad at hiding her emotions of any sort, her eyes will tear up when sad, she'll bite her lip til' it bleeds when she's pissed off, and she'll laugh the loudest in the room when happy.
  • Favorite Food & Drink: Her favorite food is any unnecessarily "collage dorm room" food, food covered in melted cheese or sauces or chocolate on a cheese cracker or whatever insane thing she has a craving for in that very moment. As for drinks, anything alcoholic, although she despises carbonated drinks she "needs" the alcohol.
  • Personal Catchphrase: N/A

Demetria Vos Glavus, The Approaching Storm

Name: Demetria Vos Glavus
Pronunciation: Deem-A-Tree-A Voss Glay-Vus
Pirate Epithet: Stormblood Demetria
Nicknames: Forsaker Demetria, Stormwalker, Demi, The Approaching Storm, TBD
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexual
Species: Human (Genetically altered)

  • Persona:
"Man should fight for the joy of it. To live, to eat, to breed— lesser beasts snap and howl at one another for this. Only man has the wisdom and the clarity to embrace violence for its own sake."

Being similar to her ruling relations, Demetria can come across as arrogant, savage, and overall ruthless. But unlike her constituents, she doesn't appear to have any noble motive behind her actions, nor does she care about the ruling. Having been raised as the heir apparent, she previously disregarded the importance of human life but nor did she care for her job of governing provinces, still, she moved through it all like going through the motions. Demetria is in fact a deeply nihilistic, girl who is lonely and possibly fatalistic with no regard for life including his own.

"To be born into this world, bestowed name, bid to seek out strife and adventure or to carry a task til duties end...Which life is to be a gift?...which a burden? Can either find... fulfilment?"

She can be quite hypocritical at times, as their detachment from outwardly displaying emotions, does not stop them from impacting her actions causing confusion she quickly attempts to logically justify to herself. An example would be something that could be seen as selfless, merciful or even kind quickly being stated to be anything but. Finally, she seems to hold little value in the material outside of the tools most useful to her.

"Would you be "happier" had I a "good reason"? If my motives met with your approval, would you no longer resent the outcome? If so, then perhaps a beast's skin would suit you better."

She attempts to put logic above all else and tends to speak bluntly and truthfully, keeping to her words without compromise regardless of future developments. She holds the belief that ideals such as duty, honour, and morality are mere tools of convenience and that justice is but a means to an end, using the World government's conquests as proof. She does not care about leading others, stating it's each individual's own responsibility to determine their purpose in life. Ultimately she remains pragmatic to a fault in how she goes about her actions, being very no-nonsense and literal.

"That I should lose... How disappointing. Never have I understood those around me. Understood their obsessions. Besieged by their banality, the world was a mire of tedium and trivialities. But in these fleeting moments, there is...a spark. Blinding, brilliant... Gone...too soon..."

Since Demetria never found a challenge in battle upon her island, she treated her conquered subjects as prey to hunt and partakes in battles for the thrill. What Demetria loathes most is an opponent who does not overestimate themselves and those who flee or otherwise do not participate in the battle. However, after her first defeat at the hands of the great swordsman, Demetria gains a greater sense of purpose, seeing something in those brief moments that stirred her from their otherwise depressive life. Having felt little value in the world, Demetria finally found a kindred spirit in the one who could finally beat her. Her newly forged motivation to face the Swordsman again drives her to remove all obstacles and distractions, her birthright of the throne being among them. This drove her to find one of the few things she could truly enjoy in the world and so went out to seek it leaving her past behind.

"Hear me then, not as a pirate or marine but simply you. Against you I need to bring my all to bear, I need to burn through the candle of my life. This is the sole pleasure I know, and the sole pleasure I have to share."

    Character Strengths:
Demetria holds a highly refined skill within swordsmanship that makes the most of her physical ability but forgoes any flair in favour of direct precision and somewhat brutal efficiency that can be seen to others as underhanded as she rarely places options off limits within a fight. This also extends however in martial prowess as she is not above employing such alongside her blade skills. Even among the more absurd denizens of the world, the woman's physical abilities far exceed what should be possible rendering her a physical juggernaut, which when combined with her relentless nature and willpower creates a force of nature within conflict. If not for her equally strong self-control refining her approach she would be prone to causing excessive damage upon a wild rampage. She holds a natural talent for combat, holding high levels of Perception which allow her advanced analytical and pattern recognition abilities within a fight allowing her to adapt and adjust freely.

Skill-wise, Demetria is well-read and has expansive knowledge, particularly when it comes to logistical, accountancy and general bookkeeping having experience managing large supply lines and kingdom matters during campaigns. This also includes being quite the gifted navigator having spent considerable time going over trade route maps and more, but may also be aided by her unique sword style giving her a high affinity to sensing the weather. Finally, while it may not appear such at first glance, she is highly knowledgeable and practised in a wide array of regal decorum, etiquette and protocol for interacting with people in a more refined manner, if she chooses to use any of these however is another matter entirely.

    Character Flaws: (TO BE EXPANDED)
Demetria is highly reluctant to engage in anything but what she deems a fair fight much to her detriment, going to greater lengths to ensure her opponent is fighting at their full capacity, or even handicap herself to reduce them closer to their level. This, however, is not to be mistaken for an honourable action but closer to a selfish one, wanting the challenger to be free of any detraction so can go all out for a greater fight, and so that upon their defeat they have no regret nor excuse. Despite this though she is also averse to placing restrictions upon the clash itself, but will concede to terms on the outcome, terms she will keep to the letter.

Her honesty extends far beyond just combat however, she will ensure her word is kept regardless, honouring her agreements to the letter. She is however also literal in this to a fault as well as exhibiting other obsessive-compulsive tendencies in her organisation and general way of living. This combined with her structured royal upbringing can make her appear quite stiff and socially awkward in more informal interactions which she lacks experience handling, however adding on to her prideful nature it is very unlikely she will admit such. Regardless of all of this, her pride may be her greatest vice, leading to her being extremely stubborn and uncompromising at times, especially once her mind has been set on a course of action.

Likes: Challange, Duels, Poetry, Puzzles, Reading, Cigarettes
Dislikes: Children, Ceremony, Cowardice, Deception, Manipulation, Procrastination

    Eye Color: Amber
    Hair Color: Black
    Height: 6' 2" (188cm)
    Weight: 210lbs
General Description: A tall woman with refined regal features and athletic build. The most striking feature of her appearance is her darkened yet piercing eyes, intense and likened to those of a predator against the backdrop of an otherwise stone face. Despite dressing in high-quality clothing it is often worn in a haphazard and casual manner, in a bizarre mix of high and low effort. The same goes for her hair messy and cut roughly by a blade rather than a stylist.

Description of Attire/Style: Large overcoats or suit jackets with dress shirts are a common trend in her attire, always lose fitting and being of noticeable quality. She is drawn towards simple formal styles in black and white, though tends to also hold golden trims and accessories on these outfits.

Basic Information

  • Name: Urvashi
  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Naga (reptilian Mink equivalent) with biroid enhancements
  • Faction: Pirate
  • Role on Crew: Deckhand/lookout
  • Bounty: 1 million, wanted by the Marines for assault on a Marine research facility. In truth, she was held prisoner for experimentation there and escaped during a breakout kicked off by other test subjects.

Appearance

Urvashi has the appearance of a dark-skinned human girl, with shaggy, shoulder-length black hair that often threatens to cover her face if blown around. However, one facial feature that varies noticeably from the human expectation is her mouth. It isn't obvious when her mouth is closed, but when she speaks or eats it is obvious that her mouth parts a few inches past where her human-like lips are, and she has the sharp, curved teeth and flickering tongue of a lizard. Furthermore, her extremities are covered in dark green scales almost up to her elbows and knees, with her fingers, toes, and heels ending in claws. Or at least her legs do. Her arms have been removed halfway down her forearms, replaced by noticeably large mechanical hands, secured by cuffs that glow with energy. With their squarish fingertips and chunky build, they resemble the gauntlets of an armored soldier noticeably bigger than Urvashi, though they are not quite at the comical size some cyborgs or biroids might have. She also has a scaly, prehensile tail, about four feet long, that is fairly dextrous.

Another feature that she was NOT born with is the slave mark tattooed on her close to the middle of her shoulders. It is not the mark of the Celestial Dragons, nor is it equally large and distinct. Nonetheless it was noticeable, and now is mostly covered by scar tissue due to concerted efforts to remove it.

Similar to Minks, Naga can attain an empowering transformation by exposing themselves to the energy of the full moon. Were Urvashi to undergo this transformation, her face and body would fully transform to a reptilian form, but she would lose the use of her hands for the duration of the transformation as the lunar energy would reject the artificial enhancement.

She usually dresses in thin, loose dresses similar to the medical scrubs she used to be dressed in when a test subject, though she can be persuaded to dress for other occasions.

Personality & Motivations

  • Personality Traits: Urvashi has a distinctly mischievous, carefree nature, frequently investigating and spying on things that catch her eye. This leads to her being rather distractable and annoying to more serious crewmates, on top of her occasional engaging in pranks or jumpscares. She can, however, settle down with a book or other work of art that holds her attention.
  • Core Beliefs & Values: "You can't hold on to people or things forever. If you can't let go, you're in the wrong." The experiences Urvashi has gone through in her short life have left her internally conflicted towards ideas of control, possession, and bonds. She doesn't want to be too attached to anything she might lose, or harm and imprison someone or something because she can't bear to lose it. Externally, she also has a healthy disregard for authority. She doesn't disobey her captain's orders just because she feels like it, and she understands the idea that people have to show up and do the work for there to be a functioning society, but in any situation where there's a choice, she sides with the ones expected to take orders over the ones who give them, and loathes the use of force and threats by those in authority to assert control.
  • Dream or Goal: Her goal is simply to continue leading a carefree life pursuing things that interest her like a shark chasing boats. She isn't too concerned about the day she will leave the crew. Her secret dream is to regain hands of flesh and erase the mark on her back, but it seems to be impossible, for now.
  • Fears & Weaknesses: As stated above, she has a great fear of falling into the sin of possessiveness and control, as well as herself becoming a prisoner (a slave) again and having not even the power to escape.

Abilities & Combat Style

  • Fighting Style: Urvashi is not formally trained in any style of combat, but the natural physique of a Naga and the strength and Wisp abilities of her augmented hands makes her a potent brawler.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (If Any): Urvashi is augmented with large cybernetic hands that connect to receiver implants halfway up the length of her (now amputated) forearms. The receiver implants can disengage and re-engage at the wearer's will, allowing her to remove the hands and re-attach them freely, for example to get dressed. Though with a lack of suitable replacements, doing so basically leaves her without hands. The cybernetic hands lack sensation and dexterity, making her generally ill-suited for tasks that require finesse. The most distinct capacity of the hands when engaged come from the glowing cuffs that secure it. When engaged with a compatible host (like Urvashi was made), the hands can project concentrated kinetic energy codenamed Wisp that are intangible to anything except selected targets and allow the user to grip or strike the targets from long range. Wisp energy can nonetheless be disrupted by any strong source of other elements such as fire, electricity, or cold.
  • Special Techniques:
    • Agni: Similar to the Electro of Minks, Naga can generate fire in combat that augments their attacks. Urvashi has not demonstrated any greater capacity in this aspect than small embers from striking her leg claws, however.
    • Wisp Swing: By waving her hand, Urvashi can generate a tendril of Wisp that knocks aside a small group of human-sized enemies or an object of similar weight as if they were struck by an intense gust of wind. The initial push can never damage the targets even slightly, but the landing can.
    • Wisp Whip: By planting her hands on the ground and then making a whipping motion, Wisp surges straight through the ground potentially creating small fissures and launching objects into the air.
  • Strengths & Notable Skills: Despite the poor dexterity of her hands, Urvashi manages to be an excellent climber, and the sensory acuity of Naga makes her good at scouting. Her experience as a runaway on high seas makes her an adequate hunter, with knowledge of environments and mundane animals sufficient to subsist on it.

History & Lore

  • Backstory: Unlike the Minks, the Naga do not have a central kingdom, and instead live in insular groups geographically close to communities of other races but socially somewhat isolated from them. Life is rarely easy for them, but Urvashi's life in particular was such that she was captured by slavers, or perhaps sold by someone close to her. Either way, she was eventually acquired by a Warlord of the Sea and delivered in turn to a secret Marine facility on Sandy Island and experimented on, seemingly with the goal of creating a garrison of biroid soldiers that could keep in check both subversive elements and the growing influence of the Kingdom of Alabasta itself. While some test subjects lacked the will to fight or escape, many others proved difficult to gain full compliance of, and in response their experimenters planned to develop an AI control system that interfaced through the subject's implants, controlling their movements and dictating tactics. Before it could be implemented, several of the stronger test subjects worked together to stage a breakout, during which all the test subjects either escaped successfully (Urvashi included) or were killed. Urvashi subsequently wandered instead of choosing to return home, traveling on ships that had more generous hosts or stowing away and stealing from others, as well as spending some time on smaller island settlements or deserted ones. Eventually, she came to join her current crew.
  • Ties to the World Government & AI: Urvashi spent a short time as a "guest" of one of the Warlords and therefore indirectly a possession of the World Government before being handed to the Marines proper. What little she knows of biroid technology and AI she does not dislike, and she would agree with using AI as a guide or companion rather than a controller. She wishes such power could be in the hands of anyone but the World Government.
  • Reputation & Notoriety: While hardly known of in particular, except by sightings of a lizard thief with large gloves, the escapees from the facility are collectively hunted by the Marines on the charge of attacking a Marine research facility as the truth of the nature of the experiments and their escape have been successfully repressed.

Extra Details

  • Quirks & Habits: Urvashi occasionally chooses to climb on surfaces even when walking is fine, as well as hang by her tail. She also likes to play pranks on or jumpscare her crewmates when the mood strikes her.
  • Favorite Food & Drink: Urvashi loves eating eggs most of all, in any form whether fried, boiled, scrambled, poached, and beyond. If it comes to it, she may eat raw eggs by putting them whole into her mouth and chewing them up shell and all.

He’s confident in his ability to talk his way out of trouble, but sometimes his bravado causes more harm than good. He has a dry sense of humor and a deep-rooted belief that freedom is the ultimate goal. He doesn’t trust easily but remains fiercely loyal to those who prove themselves.
  • Core Beliefs & Values: Freedom is paramount, and the oppression of the World Government must be fought at all costs. He believes that people should live on their own terms, making their own choices and defining their own values. His philosophy is that life is too short to waste, so one must take risks and chase what they want.
  • Dream or Goal: Rorik wants to create a crew and a world where they can live freely without the iron grip of the World Government.
  • Fears & Weaknesses: Rorik’s greatest fear is losing control of his crew or his powers. While he is the captain, he sometimes doubts his leadership and whether he’s really fit for the job. His inability to fully control his Devil Fruit powers secretly add to his anxiety.
  • What Does What They Do Mean to Them?: To Rorik, being a pirate means freedom, the ability to live without being controlled by anyone. Being a pirate represents his chance at carving out a legacy of his own and finding answers to his questions. He’s not after wealth or fame, but rather to disrupt the order imposed by the government and live on his own terms.

Abilities & Combat Style
  • Fighting Style: Rorik uses a blend of acrobatics, agility, and strategy. He’s not the type to charge into battle swinging swords. He relies more on speed, wit, and his Devil Fruit powers to stay ahead of opponents. His combat style emphasizes hit-and-run tactics, using his lightning speed and unpredictability to disorient his enemies.
  • Devil Fruit: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Raiju (Zoan-type, Mythical Creature). This allows Rorik to transform into a hybrid Raiju (lightning fox) form and utilize limited electrical powers. However, he does not have enough control to fully transform into his full Raiju (lightning fox) form yet. In his hybrid form, Rorik gains enhanced agility, some degree of lightning manipulation, and the ability to generate brief electric blasts, but his powers are hard to control and using them for extended periods or with intensity often causes him to overexert himself.
  • Weapons & Gear: Rorik doesn’t carry a traditional weapon, preferring to rely on his agility and wit. He does, however, carry a small set of daggers for close combat or emergencies.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements: None. He relies purely on his Devil Fruit powers and his natural abilities.
  • Special Techniques:
    • Raiju's Fury: A lightning-infused dash attack that lets Rorik strike with incredible speed, leaving an aftershock of electrical energy that stuns opponents. However, this technique leaves him exhausted if overused.
    • Thunderclaw: An offensive move where Rorik transforms his hands into lightning-charged claws, allowing him to parry attacks with electricity or strike at enemies. This ability, while powerful, leaves Rorik vulnerable afterward, as it is difficult to maintain.
    • Storm Step: A rapid movement technique where Rorik leaves an afterimage of lightning as he moves, making it difficult for enemies to track him. He can also use the technique to essentially "step" on air or traverse in mid-air. While effective, it demands concentration and can only be maintained briefly.
  • Strengths & Notable Skills:
    • Charismatic Leader: His charm and quick wit make him a natural at rallying his crew and convincing others to help his cause.
    • Strategic Thinker: While not always physically powerful, Rorik is adept at reading situations and adjusting his approach based on the circumstances.
    • Tactician: He excels at problem-solving and often finds unconventional ways to get out of dangerous situations. He’s not just a brute force pirate, but a pirate who uses his brain to outmaneuver enemies.

History & Lore
  • Backstory: Rorik Fennix grew up in the chaotic streets of a busy port town, nestled between bustling trade routes in the East Blue. The town was a place of opportunity for those who knew how to take it. Smugglers, pirates, and merchants all coexisted in an uneasy truce, with the World Government turning a blind eye to the activities of the underworld. Rorik’s family wasn’t wealthy, but they weren’t destitute either. His father was a dockworker, and his mother ran a small tavern for sailors passing through. Rorik was taught early that the world was harsh, and only those who could think on their feet and manipulate their circumstances would thrive. He learned the art of persuasion before he could even read, picking up tricks from sailors who frequented his mother’s tavern and shady merchants who would drop by for a drink.

Rorik’s first run-in with the law came when he was just twelve years old. He had stolen a small trinket from a high-ranking merchant. A harmless enough thing, or so he thought. The merchant, however, was a World Government informant, and it didn’t take long before Rorik found himself cornered by a group of marines. What saved him that day wasn’t his physical prowess, it was his ability to talk his way out of danger. With silver-tongued words, he convinced the marines that he had been a victim of circumstance, and through a mix of charm and quick thinking, he talked his way into their good graces. His knack for persuasion earned him a reputation in his town, and soon he was running petty smuggling operations, evading the marines with ease.

As Rorik grew older, his ambitions outgrew the small-time criminal activities of his youth. By the time he was sixteen, he had joined a small pirate crew led by an eccentric captain who saw potential in the young man’s ability to talk his way through anything. His new captain, however, was an impulsive and reckless individual who often got the crew into dangerous situations. Rorik learned valuable lessons in survival during this time, but the reckless lifestyle didn’t sit well with him for long. It wasn’t long before Rorik began to realize that he was more suited to leading than following. He quickly grew tired of his captain’s temper and lack of foresight, and when the opportunity arose, he mutinied. With a well-timed betrayal and the support of a few trusted crewmates, Rorik took control of the ship and sailed off on his own. The incident left him with a small bounty on his head, a mark of his rebellious nature and his refusal to bow to anyone.

Rorik’s true journey began when he stumbled upon The Paradox, a ship of unknown origins, hidden deep in a forgotten harbor. The ship’s design was unlike anything he had ever seen. It felt alive, its wood pulsating with energy, as if it had a mind of its own.

But Rorik was practical. His main concern wasn’t how or why the ship had this eerie presence. No, it was about the opportunity it presented. The Paradox was far more seaworthy than the shabby, outdated vessel he'd inherited from his mutinous days. It would make a perfect flagship for his newly formed crew. A fresh start, a chance to make his mark on the seas.

As he gathered a crew, Rorik maintained his attitude. Calculating, sly, and always one step ahead of the game. He was still a young man, and though his experiences had taught him many things, he had yet to learn just how much the waters could change him.
  • Major Connections:
    • The Paradox Crew: His relatively newly-formed crew.
    • Past Pirates: Former allies who know him by his reputation, some of whom are now enemies or have gone into hiding after being pursued by the World Government.
  • Ties to the World Government & AI: Rorik hates the World Government for obvious reasons. He doesn't necessarily care about AI.
  • Reputation & Notoriety: While Rorik is still a relatively unknown pirate, whispers about his electrical powers and unique crew are beginning to circulate. He is wanted by the World Government on a small scale but is not yet considered a major threat.

Extra Details
  • Quirks & Habits: Rorik often speaks in a calm, measured tone, even when facing danger. He has a habit of cracking jokes or making witty remarks in tense situations, sometimes to the point of annoyance.
  • Favorite Food & Drink: Rorik enjoys a hearty meat stew with a side of fruit, and he drinks strong rum to unwind after a long day.
  • Personal Catchphrase (If Any): “You only live once.”

History & Lore

  • Backstory:
Laughter.. that was the first thing Hawthorn heard when he was born. His parents laughing with joy at the birth of their son. Who knew from that moment onwards that laughter who play such a strong part into his life. Born into a family of performers, he was always surrounded by it. Joy, laughter, smiles. It filled him with joy too. Being born on a large city island in the East Blue into a travelling circus pirate crew, it certainly lead for an interesting life. From a young age Hawthorn was taught by his parents circus skills such as acrobatics, aerial arts, object manipulation, and other specialized physical skills. He took to performing like a duck to water and very quickly took on a persona of a Harlequin for his performances. It wasn't always fun and game however. They WERE pirates after all..

A few years down the line Hawthorn had his first proper contact with battle. Now helmsman for the ship he was taking the reign in pursuing after a pirate ship that was rumoured to be carrying a high value treasure. The naval battle was a intense one, cannons thundering, the waves rolling, blades clashing. It was like a violent circus performance.. The crew boarded the other ship after a fierce battle that lasted for a good hour. Taking supplies and the treasure they left returning to a small isolated island they knew of in the area where they could recover for the night.

Sorting out the supplies Hawthorn stumbled upon a small box that was locked up tight. Pondering over it he realised it was a puzzle box and instantly began to work upon trying to get it open. He failed.. taking it to the crew everyone else tried to open it as well. They all failed one after the other. He deduced that this cleary held the high value item and it was agreeded that whoever opened it could get what was inside. For weeks the crew tried to get it open as they travelled from island to island to perform. About three weeks later Hawthorn was staring at the box truly mistified. He ran a finger over it, pondering the small marks. He had tried so many things and sighed the sigh coming out like a whistle. It was at that moment a click emminated from the box. Hawthorns eyes darted to it instantly and he whistled again. Another click.. Another whislte aaaand nothing..? He whistled again and again and nothing happend. So close an yet.. he then whistled in a higher frequency and click... higher still click..

And then click.. the box opened up to reveal the grand prize... A Devil Fruit. He showed the crew who, as agreeded allowed him to eat it. And so from that moment forth he became a Mind Mind Human.

Fast forward a few more years and the life Hawthorn knew had come to an end. The crew had gone into hiding after tangling with a marine ship they shouldn't have. Barely escaping and earning a high bounty for their troubles they decided it best to lay low and go into a life of hiding. Hawthorn on the other hand wanted to continue. He couldn't give up on his dream of spreading joy.. not now. Thus he travelled here and there, using his new found abilites to perform.

It was on one fateful day that he came across a crew that intruiqed him. Now a helmsman once more he travels with his new crew.

  • Age: 20
  • Gender: Nonbinary, They/Them
  • Race: Human
  • Faction: Pirate
  • Role on Crew: Infiltrator
  • Bounty: 9 mil bounty

Appearance

1738889699565.png

(disregard accompanying text on right hand side of image)
  • Height & Build: 5 ft 11 - Ectomorphic build. Long and lanky, with a crested, foxlike face
  • Hair & Eye Color: Blue eyes, Shaggy pink hair
  • Distinct Features: Left leg has been amputated - Enoli uses two prosthetics. One is a simple running blade prosthetic, and the first model they got used to. It's rudimentary in design and tech, and used for more casual situations. The other prosthetic is much more advanced, more decorative and thoughtfully designed. The main function is that it is adaptable to both their human and Zoan forms, able to switch gears and sizes to integrate well with their shapeshifting abilities.

Personality & Motivations

  • Personality Traits:
  • Enoli is, on the surface, a guarded and flakey person. They are not trusting at all, and truly believe that everyone is out to get them. They tend to be very flighty and nervous, quick to avoid conflict and often pessimistic. Enoli bites at the hand that feeds them. They’re not receptive to kindness or any efforts to branch out, believing it to be a ruse or an attempt to get them to lower their guard. They think poorly of most people around them and don’t seem to believe in trust or second chances, making their disposition generally mean and closed.
On a slightly deeper level, though, Enoli is lonely. They desire friendship and companionship more than anything. Unfortunately, they have convinced themself that this is impossible. They’re terrified of letting others get close to them out of fear of everyone involved ending up hurt somehow. They’re hypocritical, guarding their own secrets with their life while growing paranoid when they think others are hiding something from them. On an outward level Enoli is snarky and rude and causes problems for the people around them.

Enoli has a terrible sense of self. Due to the nature of their upbringing, they feel alienated from most people and struggle to fit in, unsure of who and what they are and how to be a human. They’re not doing so great at figuring it out. They try to keep most of their emotions in check but have strong body language that sometimes unintentionally reveals how they're feeling, and some animalistic behaviors spurred on by their devil fruit that they fail to tamp down.

Without all the teen angst and trauma and trust issues, Enoli is a curious and passionate person. They may not have found their way in the world or people they can call friends, but anyone who they come closer with would find a person who has a natural wonder for the world around them and a fun-loving, mischievous personality. They like to tease and snark, but they’d love fiercely. Enoli tends to gravitate towards more carefree, open people - those who seem to have nothing to hide. It makes them feel secure. Enoli’s goals in life are muddled and poorly defined. They’re not looking for fame or riches or some grand accomplishment. They just want to be a human person with a good family.
  • Core Beliefs & Values: Enoli struggles in having large-scale convictions. They care mainly for their own safety and comfort and act accordingly. Chaotic Neutral Alignment
  • Dream or Goal: Outwardly, Enoli's dream appears to be a simple desire for peace and relaxation, in whatever form may come to them. Internally, however, they wish to be completely free of their devil fruit. Of course, there is no way to shed a devil fruit without simply dying, so Enoli is often distressed by this, attempting to divorce themself from their devil fruit while also being unable to accept how much of their identity has grown to revolve around it.
  • Fears & Weaknesses: Enoli, deeply paranoid, has a general distaste to authority of any sort, as well as being kept in the dark or lied too (again stressing the hypocritical nature of this as Enoli is a tried and true liar themself). They hate feeling trapped or stuck, both physically and mentally, and get claustrophobic when in small spaces not of their own volition. Enoli is fickle and flighty, easily startled and quick to back down from a fight if they see a present opening, and will lash out like a scared animal when pressured.
  • What Does What They Do Mean to Them? Being a pirate was something forced onto Enoli initially, and while it offered more freedom than their previous life, it was still stifling and a means to use and manipulate Enoll. Prior to joining the current crew, the pirating life meant little to Enoli besides isolation. Traveling alone was peaceful at times, but grew lonely when imposed upon them for so long, especially with the threat of Marines breathing down their neck constantly. Enoli has yet to understand what a healthy, functional crew could look oike, at at the start of the storyline is likely wary of becoming another cog, another weapon in some brand new armada.

Abilities & Combat Style

  • Fighting Style: Enoli’s main battle strategy is to avoid a battle in the first place, but if forced to fight they rely on agility, speed, and trickery. Capable of speed blitzing opponents, Enoli goes in for fast, quick, close combat blows and then attempts to get out as soon as possible. They don’t tend to use weapons, utilizing mainly claws and teeth. Taught by their Marine father, Enoli is able to utilize a few techniques of Rokushiki on a very basic level. They use their tail(s) for Rankyaku and they can effectively use Shigan, enhanced by their claws. Their full beast form can sometimes be used to slip out of an enemies grasp or land heavier hits by throwing their weight around. It also serves as a defense mechanism- Enoli’s fox pelt is harder to pierce than skin. In larger battle settings, Enoli weaves through the battlefield and causes confusion by using their shapeshifting abilities, either teaming up with an ally to make an enemy literally see double, or slip into enemy lines unnoticed by shapeshifting into one of them. They aim to disorient the enemy enough to create an opening to attack.
  • Devil Fruit (If Any): Inu Inu no mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune
The mythical Zoan that allows the user to transform into the 9 tailed fox - a kitsune. For whatever reason, Enoli is constantly in some sort of human-beast form, with fox-like traits. Their secondary ability allows them to take on the appearance of any human they lay eyes on, down to the clothing. In their hybrid form, they have sharper claws and fangs, refined hearing, and silent footsteps. They can leap much higher than an average person, and move with finesse and agility.
  • Weapons & Gear: While mainly relying on their devil fruit for combat, Enoli has a long dagger they use as a last reserve or when otherwise hindered.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (If Any): See; Prosthetic(s) mentioned above in Distinct Features. Enoli is learning to work with and around their lack of a leg, feeling alarmed by the loss of a finitely human part of themself. At first they hoped the mechanical part of them could be used as an out from their devil fruit, a new part of their body that hadn't been tainted, but they also need to adjust it to accommodate their devil fruit usage, so it's a double sided coin. Will note that the prosthetics are not as high tech as most things in this world may be but are slightly cheaper versions of prosthetics in need of fine tuning and upgrading.
  • Strengths & Notable Skills: A skillful pickpocket and lockpick, making them a prolific thief. Coupled wiht their devil fruit, Enoli is a talented infiltrator. They also know how to play a few instruments such as the hurdy gurdy, mandolin, and violin, something they enjoy in their downtime.

History & Lore

  • Backstory: Deep within the mountains of an island in the East Blue lies a Marine Base furnished with training arenas and a well-equipped laboratory. Ran by a Marine Captain known as Stanislav and a freelance scientist Lyudmilla, an operation known as Project Espnoir. Lyudmilla, obsessed deeply with the lore of the ocean and the functions of devil fruits, had recently come to possess a Mythical Zoan devil fruit. Working with the Marines to further her own goals, the objective of Project Espnoir was to birth a blank slate of a human to test the mental and physical effects of a Mythical Zoan, while also training the subject to be a formidable Marine officer. Enter Enoli, who, at a mere six months old, was administered the Inu Inu no mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune. There was a belief that mythical Zoans often carried their own ‘wills’ or consciousnesses that would war with the user the more the devil fruit was used. But for Enoli, not even a year old, there wasn’t any real human consciousness to fight against, and the devil fruit became a large part of their mentality. As Enoli grew, they were kept secluded away in the mountainous marine base, hardly ever allowed to venture outside or experience the real world. They were hardly ever regarded as a human and as such rarely got the chance to develop properly as one. Their father, Stanislav, came from a long line of marines. He had been rigorously trained since childhood, just as his father and grandfather had been- he imposed that onto Enoli, subjecting them to harsh training. When Enoli gave in to the emotional whims of their devil fruit, trying to push back against authority or act sly or tricky, they were harshly punished, bound in Sea Prism cuffs to subdue them. He regarded them as he regarded himself - a dangerous weapon belonging to the World Government. Lyudmilla, Enoli’s mother, was much gentler, but not out of love or kindness. To her, Enoli was a vessel to be experimented on. A body for a devil fruit to occupy. She wasn’t sure if there was any human consciousness left inside their head, feeling as if they had been entirely possessed by the will of the kitsune. As such, Enoli was disillusioned. While, yes, it caused them physical and mental distress to ever be in a fully human form, and they tended to revert to more primal, animalistic instincts in moments of stress, they believed themself to be for the most part human in soul and mind, and regarded their devil fruit as a curse or disease attempting to overtaken them. They quickly became desperate to break free of Project Espnoir, which reduced them to solely their devil fruit. They grew restless and claustrophobic, trapped within the walls of the facility. One day, Enoli snapped and accidentally triggered a premature awakening. Rampaging in full beast mode, they brute forced their way out of the marine base and managed to escape. Of course, the premature awakening had dire effects on the body and Enoli collapsed far, far away, having to spend time recovering. The mental effects were mostly negated, since the awakening was so brief and Enoli was so mentally intertwined with their devil fruit already. Their memory of the event, however, was incredibly spotty. In a frantic desire to never, ever, return to that marine base, Enoli tried to distance themself from their parents as much as possible. They were swept up by an up and coming crew known as the Cursed Mask Pirates and adopted as a high ranking fighter amongst the crew, which was wrought with captive workers and infighting. Enoli was brought under the wing of the captain, a prolific thief known as Wuulfgang, and he taught them to hone their stealth abilities, and broadened the scope of the creative ways Enoli could utilize their devil fruit. However, at the end of the day, he also perceived Enoli as nothing but a tool- nonexistent outside of their devil fruit abilities. Enoli came to the conclusion that as long as they bore the will of the kitsune they would never really be free. Stanislav, enraged that his progeny had escaped and tarnished his reputation and family’s lineage, set out on a warpath to recapture Enoli. While they spent a year or two at sea traveling with the Cursed Mask pirates, he caught wind of their whereabouts and in an act of blind rage ordered a Buster Call on the crew. The ship was razed. Every single crew member was massacred. Enoli was the sole survivor, losing their leg in the process. In an attempt to save face - the World Government wasn’t happy that Enoli was galavanting about - the Marines swept the buster call under the rug and posed the event as a bloodbath propagated and carried out by Enoli. They were labeled as the serial murderer of the Cursed Mask pirates, and their bounty skyrocketed. From there on out, Enoli was on the run. They stayed out on the open sea, acting as a stowaway on ships, stealing small boats when viable. They’re running, constantly, and quickly losing sight of what they’re running from.
  • Major Connections: Enoli's mother, Lyudmilla Meyer, is an intelligent and freeroaming researcher mainly invested in how the human psyche interacts with Devil Fruits. Knowledgeable and previously hired by the World Government, she is currently AWOL conducting private research. Enoli's father, Stanislav Novak, is a deeply angry and misguided man, locked in the generational cycle of marine training. Unsatisfied with his own place in the Marine ranking, he believes Enoli to be his ultimate failure, someone with boundless potential who has squandered it all, and is therefore obsessively angry with them. He's not even sure what he wants to do if he ever gets his hands on them.
  • Ties to the World Government & AI: Enoli has not had many run ins with the rise of AI and has not familiarized themself with it besides knowing it's a valuable and dangerous resource.
  • Reputation & Notoriety: Vaguely infamous in certain circles. After being pinned for the massacre of an entire crew, Enoli is disliked by many pirates and marines alike, and hsa a bounty on their head. Mentions of them tend to spark distrust and paranoia, both because of their alleged crimes and the fact that they are a shapeshifter.

Extra Details

  • Quirks & Habits: Carries many foxlike habits- mainly, Enoli smiles when nervous. They speak in a Polish accent - or, the One Piece world's equivalent of a Polish accent.
  • Favorite Food & Drink: Enoli's favorite food is eggs- namely, hard boiled or fried eggs, though they're really not too opposed to eating them raw. They have grown a terrible fondness for Mimosas, though orange juice will also do. This asshole LOVES breakfast.

Adorning a getup that was reminiscent of what his older brother once wore when he was (Biker Club Name) President with an extra pair of 'special' shades modeled after his brother's own. While Eval typically wears goggles, he puts on his special shades whenever he plans on getting serious (like Zoro with his bandana type thing).

Eval was a pretty late bloomer, who only recently got his growth spurt. Two years ago, he was about half a foot shorter, roughly fifty pounds lighter and still held baby fat in his cheeks.

Personality & Motivations

  • Personality Traits: Motorhead, Loyal Friend, Gold Hearted Miscreant & Reckless Daredevil. Eval is a far from perfect guy that more often than not has their heart in the right place. His first love is the humming of a motor, and he dedicates most of spare time tinkering with old scrap and junk, transforming them into something useful. He spent his life tinkering with old motorcycles, buggies, cars, and just about anything you can think of that runs on a set of wheels. Much of his personality is derived from his older (deceased) brother Knieval, who played an essential role in transforming Eval into the person he is now. Much of his outward attitude and attempts at being brave and cool are all Eval's way of paying tribute to his late brother.
  • Core Beliefs & Values: A somewhat chaotic good, if not chaotic neutral person. He usually doesn't consider morality on a large scale, but he does live by his own set of principles that he does take fairly seriously, and expects the allies he travels with to have similar values to him. Things like keeping ones word, and loyalty. When it comes to right and wrong, he simply does and acts how he feels is right at the time, but is able to admit that in the grand scheme of things he doesn't have a single idea of what is going on or who is right or wrong about anything.
  • Dream or Goal: Eval inherited the aspirations, ambitions and dreams of his brother Knieval (yes his name is just a combination of both their names; they are orphans). Growing up Eval had little to no ambitions in life, he had no real grandiose dreams of setting out to conquer the seas, or discover the One Piece, or make a mark on the world in any significant way. He was entirely content with life as a tinkerer. It was Knieval who possesses all those qualities, he was the cool and brave one, the one that Eval now does his very best to emulate. Knieval's dream was fairly simple, but also very ambitious: Knieval dreamed of becoming....A legend. (Basically, it is an Ussop ahh dream)
  • Fears & Weaknesses: Gynophobia (fear of women), Mathematically Challenged, ShipLEFT (get it? He doesn't understand boats), Socially awkward.
  • What Does What They Do Mean to Them: From the moment of his brothers passing, Eval has quite literal dedicated every waking moment of his life pursuing his brothers goals and dreams. Completely transforming himself from a small, scrawny boy into a man capable of fending for themselves. He cares not for sides or titles, but simply the values of the individual person.

Abilities & Combat Style

"Foji Foji No Mi" (Forge Forge Fruit), is a paramecia-type devil fruit that gives the user abilities similar to that of a forge, turning the user into a forge-human. The user is able to melt down and mold any type of metal they make physical contact with, and can also produce extreme scorching heat from their hands that can be incorporated into many different melee attacks. While he can decrease the size of metal objects, their mass & density remain the same (ie - his golden drill attached to his necklace has an original size as large as his forearm and weighs roughly 25lbs even as a necklace). Basically, the user becomes a walking, talking human forge and would typically be ideal for individuals with knowledge in sword or gunsmithing. In Eval's hands, the fruit has yet to reach its full potential, and there remain numerous facets of the Devil Fruit that elude him.

Type
Paramecia

Devil Fruit Strengths
+ Highly versatile: the fruit is capable of both decent defense and offense.
+ Great advantage against metal-based weapons with the exception of bullets (for now). He can make blades fold/bend around him at the moment of contact, assuming he sees this attack coming. It proves especially troublesome for swordfighters in particular.
+ His devil fruit works on any type of metal whether it be tin, steel, iron, bronze, silver, or gold.

Devil Fruit Weaknesses & Limitations
- Requires physical contact with a metal object, he cannot manipulate metal from afar.
- Cannot create constructs with higher volume than what he's making contact with. (He can change shape & size but not volume or density. He could stretch metal out, but that would also make it thinner and thus frailer in the process)
- The strength of his armor and weapons heavily depends on the type of metal he is using. Manipulating tin into armor would not be nearly as effective as steel or iron.
- Like a forge, he requires 'fuel' and 'heat'. Molding metals reduces stamina, and using his heat-based attacks uses a lot more stamina.
- Specialized Knowledge is required for more advanced/complex metal constructs. He could theoretically make a robot, but he'd actually have to know how to.
- Standard Devil Fruit Weaknesses (Haki & Seastone/Seawater)

"Foji Foji No Mi: Shūshuku" (Forge Forge Fruit: Shrinkage) - Eval decreases the size of metal constructs he makes physical contact with. For example, his golden drill necklace was shrunken. While he can make metal constructs appear smaller, they do not lose their mass. There are also some other sub-techniques which also fall under this and they each follow the same rules.
'Kakuchō' (Expansion) - Eval expands the size of metal constructs he makes contact with, at the expense of overall density and strength. So turning a tin can into a hammer for example would be useless. However, it can be used as a pretty good intimidation tactic against those who are unaware of this fruit's capabilities.
'Rikyasuto' (Recast) - A reset through physical contact. Eval can return constructs back to their original size and shape.

"Foji Foji No Mi: Irubuken" (Forge Forge Fruit: Smolder Fist) - Smoke emits from Eval's hands as they begin to glow a bright fiery ember while the temperature of his hands becomes hot enough to melt down steel in a matter of seconds. This acts as the basis for most of his physical attacks and melee techniques.
burning-fire.gif

"Foji Foji No Mi: Kusuburi Satsujin" (Forge Forge Fruit: Smoldering Murder) - Currently his only melee attack that specifically utilizes his 'smoldering hands'. Barefist or equipped with a fist weapon, Eval unleashes an almost samurai-like slow draw punch that occurs swiftly and if he made contact causes an explosion of heat to erupt on where he struck. Basically, it is a quick super punch with heat added on top. The beginning of this attack does, however, leave him open for a second before unleashing the strike as it takes quite a bit of build-up for Eval to move with that speed and force. The longer the charge up, the stronger the strike will be, otherwise, it will be all speed and little bite. Currently, it can only be used at a maximum range of about 3 meters (Roughly 9.8ft)

"Foji Foji No Mi: Buki - Doriru" (Forge Forge Fruit: Weapon - Drill) - Eval detaches the drill from his necklace, and returns it back to its original size. Turning back into a drill first-load weapon that is ideal for breaking through one's defenses.
tumblr_nrqykySNy61s4e3v8o1_500.gif

"Foji Foji No Mi: Buki - Ken/Kens" (Forge Forge Fruit: Weapon - Fist/s/) - Typically using his drill as the core for this ability, he reshapes the drill either to fit around his arm like a giant fist blunt damage or splits the two apart for a pair of boxing mitts with fist indentations on the front. The one arm packs more damage but also puts off his balance (the weight making him lean to one side same as Doriru) whereas using two mits distributes that weight evenly on both arms, giving Eval his balance back at the expense of brute force.

"Foji Foji No Mi: Barikēdo" (Forge Forge Fruit: Barricade) - Eval molds metal into a barricade or shield depending on the volume of metal he is dealing with, and its functionality varies based on the density and type of metal used to create the barricade.

"Foji Foji No Mi: Meka" (Forge Forge Fruit: Mecha) - Eval molds metal into a large suit of metal armor which he effectively 'pilots' like a low-tech mech. The armor gives him an overall boost in his defense & offense. Since he is always in contact with the armor, he can also change the shape of his armor at a moment's notice (for example making metal spikes sticking out of his armor or turning his gauntlets into drill fists etc). As of right now, his movement is slightly impaired whenever he uses this. He is still fast, but his reflexes and reactions are not as quick as they would be.

Fighting Style
Eval is a product of not just the training passed down onto him by the infamous pirate 'Cross-Bones D.' but also his upbringing, and most notably his late brother Knieval whom Eval intentionally holds a striking resemblance. Knieval was strong, tough, and possessed uncanny levels of pure willpower and resilience. The only thing Eval had over his brother was his intuition and way with machines. Eval was the one who fixed whatever his brother broke in the first place, and now he is attempting to fill the empty shoes of his brother in their absence. Following his brothers death, Eval was taken under the wing of the infamous Cross-Bones D. who would train him over the course of the next several years - preparing Eval for the journey that his brother was supposed to take. When D. took Eval in, he was like a scrawny boy barely capable of handling the weight of their own tools. By the time D was through with him, Eval had been transformed into a man more than capable of fending for himself. His training was harsh and grueling, as one might expect, and the results speak for themselves. Greatly resembling what his brother once was, he has the same devilish skills of a rider that his brother possessed, and had reached the same level of physical condition his brother had when he died. He is a gifted brawler who focuses primarily on hand-to-hand combat and the use of close-ranged weapons and tools but he is fairly inept at the use of ranged weapons like slingshots, bows and guns. His real choice of weapon is actually the drill attached to his necklace, which is, in reality, a miniaturized version of a drill fist load weapon that was wielded by one of D's former nakama, therefore, most of his attacks often involve his fists. He can easily handle himself in backstreet brawls against drunkards, common thugs and what have you but against a trained martial artist he would struggle greatly in a battle of pure fisticuffs. Though what he lacks in proper techniques as a result of his devil fruit Eval has discovered a means of increasing the damage and impact of his physical attacks (Look to DF page for reference). Where his physical skills may fail him, Eval makes up for in mental capacity and adaptability. He can prove to be surprisingly tactically minded, possesses what seems to be a fairly high battle IQ, and is both competent as well as creative with the application of his devil fruit abilities.

Most importantly of all, Eval is a rider: a mounted combatant first and foremost. When mounted atop his motorcycle, he becomes an entirely separate force to deal with. A metamorphic motorcycle rider, combining the talents of a cyclist daredevil with that of the forge-forge fruit. Eval's devil-fruit allows him to change the structure of his bike at will, as long as he is making physical contact with it. Eval's ability on a motorcycle cannot be understated, even without the aid of his devil fruit. However this means that in order to reach his full potential, he requires a wide and open space to work with.

Weapons & Gear
Knieval's Blade (Unknown Grade): The Katana he carries is more for symbolic/sentimental reasons, he is not much of a proficient swordsman perse but does carry a katana on his person at all times. The blade once belonged to his brother, and his brother obtained it from the stranger who inspired Knieval's dreams to become a legendary pirate. The blade itself is usually long and curved for a katana. It was Knieval's primary weapon of choice when things got serious, and now Eval holds onto it as a reminder of the promise that was made.

Eval's Golden Drill (Necklace): A gift from his pirate mentor D that was transformed into a weighted necklace through Eval's devil fruit ability. The drill 'pendent' attached to a steel-chain necklace is actually a miniaturized version of a golden-drill designed to be a fist-load weapon presumably used by one of D's former nakama. Originally weighing around 25lbs, it is much heavier than it appears. Eval often utilizes the drill as a medium for his Devil Fruit techniques, acting as the core to most if not all his metal constructs.

Backstory
Every Great Story...
Begins With A Great Tragedy

7b5df3184d20732d4d4f2eea383cc4c5.jpg

May or may not make a longer and more IC version of the bio. Recounting things from Eval's pov. Otherwise, the generalized version of his origin story is below, and other parts of it have also been mentioned in other places on this sheet.

Generalized/Shorter Version
Eval and his older brother Knieval were both orphans who grew up in the Bosozoku Kingdom of the South Blue. A country governed by three crime families known together as the 'Triangle Troupe'. Heads of the underworld operations in South Blue, there are even rumors of them having entered into an agreement with the World Government who handed them a monopoly on the black market in South Blue. Asides from the Triangle Troupe and gangsters affiliated with them is their opposition in the form of rebel biker clubs which make their home in the desolate outskirt regions of the country but are a constant nuisance to the Kingdom itself. For the most part, the biker rebels were the original residents of the kingdom who were forced out once the Triangle Troupe moved in. Most of the people living inside the kingdom city itself are usually tourists seeking cheap entertainment or shady characters that work for or are looking to do dealings with the Triangle Troupe.

When they had nothing and nobody, Knieval was the one to look after and take care of Eval when he was hungry or cold. Often went on to suffer in silence so that his little brother could have some semblance of comfort, and the both of them were often forced to commit petty crimes just in order to survive. Their environment was hostile, even in the safety of the walls, and they would only hear terrifying stories about what happens to those who venture outside into the desert outskirts where the bandit bikers lurk and prey on the weak. Then one day by mere chance they would encounter one of these gangs for themselves. Long story short: they'd find out the biker gangs aren't so bad after all, and they end up joining them. Eval & Knieval joined them in the outskirts, and for the first time, they had a home and family. They'd also be formally introduced into motorcycles, and Eval was put to some use by acting as an assistant mechanic.

While not all the rebel biker gangs/clubs got along, there was a certain sense of companionship among them all and any disputes were dealt with according to a very particular set of rules to avoid too many casualties and starting a cycle of vengeance between them when their mutual enemy still stands. Their form of solving disputes was through their ability as a rider, with participants competing against each other in races or stunt courses to settle a dispute. It is here that the brothers would spend the rest of their childhood, and where they began to grow into young men. Knieval would quickly rise to prominence among the biker community; earning their respect through his unprecedented talent for motorcycles. At the age of just fourteen, Knieval was keeping up with the vets and old-timers, and at sixteen was the first in a hundred years to make the 'Impassable Gap' with success. It was this achievement that birthed his own rebel gang in the form of the 'Brothers in Speed'. Which was mostly made up of the biker youth who aspired to be like Knieval. It wasn't just Val that loved and admired his brother Knieval - almost everyone in the biker community did! It was also around this time that Knieval began to loudly announce his dream to strike out to the seas, and make himself someone to be remembered throughout the generations to come...And this was also the time that the Triangle Troupe began to turn their attentions back to the biker rebels living in the Landring.

That is because one of the primary goals of Brothers in Speed was to bring together all the different biker gangs of Landring under a single initiative to take back control of the Bosozoku Kingdom. If Knieval were to succeed, the assembled force would be large and strong enough to finally stand against the gangsters of the Triangle Troupe. However, this would sadly never come to full fruition. The Brothers in Speed would begin interrupting Triangle Troupe supply ships and regularly evaded the city highways to cut off supply runs. In the end, Knieval's actions would catch up with them. The Triangle Troupe would call in one of their strongest affiliates: an organization of 'professional' slavers that operated in and out of East to South Blue. What followed with their arrival to Bosozoku Island was not just a massacre for the Brothers in Speed, but for all of Landring's biker residents. What followed was a massacre for not just the Brothers in Speed, but all of Landring's residents. Dirt Town would be reduced to near ruins before Knieval finally offered himself to bring it all to a stop and bargain for the release of those who were captured by the slavers. Allowing himself to be taken in by the Triangle Troupe who publically executed him in Bosozoku Square as a warning to all other would-be rebels. Knieval was nineteen when he was publically executed: dying with his shades on and smiling wide.

For a time the residents of Landring were safe from further attacks from the Triangle Troupe until it was discovered that Knieval had a little brother and they wanted to make an example out of him too by selling him as a slave. They stole Eval in the dead of night while the town mourned and slept, stealing him away on a ship that was initially heading for Paradise before it was intercepted by a mysterious stranger. The same stranger who visited Dirt Town all those years ago and ignited the spark of Knieval's dreams. A man who went only be the letter 'D'.

D rescued Eval only a week or so after he was stolen, before they ever got the chance to sell him, and for the next two years D would take Eval with him under his wing. Training him as he originally intended to train Knieval, preparing Eval for the journey his brother never go to take this is also how Eval would end up in East Blue.
Bosozoku Kingdom
The Bosozoku Kingdom is a country located in South Blue and is where Eval, Knieval and D come from. It is a country with three Underworld Families at the head of its hierarchy, with each family governing over their own third of the Kingdom. While the Bosozoku Kingdom was once a country and people devoted to the engineering of vehicles, primarily in the form of motorcycles, since it was taken over by the four families it has been turned into a weapons-manufacturing machine and tourist trap for those looking for cheap or unruly entertainment unavailable anywhere else in the South Blue. Now the old spirit of the island has been carried on by its youth in the form of an uprising of motorcycle gangs that coincided with the passing of Luffy and the birth of a new generation of piracy. Bosozoku Kingdom and the four families are an ally to the World Government as a result of a special arrangement that was made over fifty years ago.

The country today runs rampant with these biker rebels along with gangsters, thugs, thieves, black market peddlers and the worst of the lot - Slavers. As far as the general island layout goes, most of the kingdom has effectively been turned into a large, illustrious city with plenty of highways for the biker gangs to stir trouble on, but surrounding the city's outskirts and indeed the rest of the island is a desolate desert canyon. The outskirts have plenty of dangerous wildlife, but it can also be seen as a safe haven for those who are being hunted down by one of the Big Families. Somewhere hidden in the canyon outskirts is a village and underground facility that was once used as the base of operations by the Brothers in Speed. On another note, from a bird's eye point of view, the island is vaguely shaped like the wheel of a dirtbike/motorcycle.

- "Daredevil" Knieval | Older Brother -

Knieval was not just a protective older brother of Eval, he was his first teacher and his greatest inspiration to become something more than what he ever thought he could be. Knieval lived the entirety of his life riding on the edge of life & death, both figuratively and literally. He was not just a gifted fighter, but a prodigal rider who won the ire of their hometown neighborhood through his stylish flare, fiery spirit and radical wheels.

Whenever Eval was in trouble, it was always Knieval who'd be the first to arrive on the scene. In the end, almost nobody was willing to mess with Knieval - that was with the exception of the four major crime families themselves, and it was their elite who orchestrated Knieval's ultimate demise. Though not before Knieval was able to guarantee the safe escape of his younger brother. That was the last day Eval saw his older brother, and he would later find out about his death through the newspaper.

Knieval formed his own biker club known as the "Brothers in Speed". They all adorned a similar getup and similar shades, and they had the objective of uniting all the biker gangs on Bosozoku Island under one purpose: to take back control from the crime families and eliminate the artificial borders that divide their nation. Knieval was close to achieving this goal but in the end, his brash actions would catch up with him in the worst kind of way. Being a good few years older than Eval, it is likely that Knieval did have some type of memory about their parents but was never given the opportunity to tell his little brother the full truth before meeting his demise. (Last part is to just leave room for potential expansion in the future.)

- "Cross-Bones" D.| Temporary Guardian & Pirate Mentor Biological Father -

A remnant of the last generation, D is an enigmatic old timer who was once the notorious captain of the Cross-Bones Pirates. The man's life and motives have always been shrouded in mystery, and it was said that not even the members of his own crew got to know as much as his real name despite all the time they spent and the tribulations they went through. The Cross-Bones Pirates were infamous for possessing advanced technological weapons, and for their aircraft vessel the 'Maiden of Misfortune' it is said that whenever they landed upon the surface destruction would be sure to follow. Whatever the case, the Maiden of Misfortune was felled from the skies, and the Cross-Bones Pirates were presumably all killed in the carnage with the exception of D himself.

Since then, D has seemingly retired from his days as a sky pirate and has been spotted all around the world on his lonesome over the years. Along his travels, D came to Bosozoku Island and during his time there found his new calling in life by nurturing the next generation through Eval's older brother Knieval. It was D who planted the sparks to Knieval's fiery dreams, and while D initially planned on turning Knieval into his personal pupil...By the time he finally returned to the island, Knieval had already passed on. Leaving his dream in his little brother's hands, D respected this gesture by taking Eval under his wing.

For almost two years, D did his dues by teaching Eval how to survive and preparing him for the initial steps he would have to make in order to accomplish his goals. The last and perhaps most important piece of advice D would leave Eval before parting ways: "If you are to accomplish your dream - find those of similar worth. It is our nakama that not only defines what we can accomplish but also what kind of people we will be remembered as."

  • Ties to the World Government & AI: Eval Knieval is recognized as the pupil/student of Cross-Bones D. A highly infamous figure among the World Government, while D's motives are not completely clear, he has a long history of conflict against the World Government and its allied bodies. It is due to this connection that Eval was first put on notice by the World Government. It is from Cross-Bones D, that Eval was transformed from a boy into a man.
  • Reputation & Notoriety: Eval was placed on the WG's radar from the moment his ties with Cross-Bones D. as his latest, brightest pupil came to light. He first made waves during his first departure from his now former mentor Cross-Bones D. and since their separation Eval became apart of a number of small outfits, gangs and crews until eventually crossing paths with Rorik Fennix for the first time. Finally, Eval had found someone he could truly call nakama.

Extra Details

  • Quirks & Habits: Eval regularly attempts to emulate his older brother, and so he often acts in the way he thinks his brother would. The issue comes with the fact that Eval, is of course, not actually his brother and in reality is far more awkward and even oblivious. His knowledge and intelligence seems to be dedicated almost purely on knowing his motor-mobiles, whereas on the other hand he still isn't able to really wrap his head around the idea that giants ships are somehow able to float on water ("It's all a conspiracy I tell you!"). He has a tendency of biting on metal, and in fact has a bit of a biting fixation in general. He also prefers the company of motors and machines than people...Machines don't judge you...
  • Favorite Food & Drink: Coffee, Caffeine, Java Beans, cup o' joe, fsafa....
  • Personal Catchphrase: Eval and his brother have a certain dialect/lingo that can make them stand apart somewhat, being the sort to say things like "What'choo lookin' at me for?", "Ain't no way, mate.", "Bloody hell!!", "Yeeaaah - nah.." etc.

History & Lore

Backstory:
Born into a once-prominent scholar family, Lotti and Leni grew up surrounded by books, ruins, and forbidden texts. Their parents were historians who sought the truth behind the rise of AI, but their research made them targets. One day, a World Government-backed AI task force raided their home, destroying years of research and arresting their parents under charges of "historical treason."

The twins barely escaped and spent years hiding, scavenging, and surviving in ruins while trying to piece together their family’s lost knowledge. As they grew older, they became infamous among archaeologists as troublemakers who stole information from government-controlled sites. Eventually, their pursuit of knowledge led them to piracy. Not for treasure, but for freedom to uncover the past.

They believe the AI’s rise isn’t just about justice, it’s about controlling the past.

Major Connections:
  • Parents (Status Unknown): Arrested by the World Government for researching forbidden history.

  • Gender: Male
  • Race: Goliath Grouper Fishman
  • Faction: Pirate
  • Role on Crew: Cook
  • Bounty: 5 million for vandalism against world government property and violence against marines in his escape of their custody.

Appearance

  • Height & Build: Tsogo is a near giant of an individual, standing around 13’4, he is broad-shouldered and barrel chested. He normally dresses in a pair of puffed out white pants and a gray vest. He has a more prominent jaw and chin somewhat reminiscent of a grouper. Tsogo’s face is framed by some small finlike structures behind his ears.

  • Distinct Features: A deep line scar on his clavicle.

Personality & Motivations

  • Personality Traits: Tsogo is a generally level-headed young man with a very dry sense of humor. He approaches life slowly, takes things one step at a time in order to not lose track of things which he very much can when things speed up. He likes a structure to things (Especially the kitchen) and he likes a reason to things especially where combat is concerned. He is patient with but disapproving of nonsense even if he finds such nonsense entertaining. As with many cooks who take their work seriously, there is no greater way to get on Tsogo’s nerves than by wasting food.
  • Core Beliefs & Values:
A person’s worth is decided by what they fight for, a person who fights for nothing is the worst of the worst. Whether that be someone who kills without reason or one who will not stand and fight for anything.

An art that a person devotes themselves to should be honed to the best of their ability. Whether that be singing, cooking or painting.

The only person’s actions you can control are your own, give what wisdom you can but don’t lose sleep over those who do not listen and never make light of a mistake made of your own judgement.

Strength is a delicate gift made for the main purpose of protecting and providing for others.

  • Dream or Goal: To discover what it means to be a real Guardian of the Sea and to become one.
  • Fears & Weaknesses: Tsogo’s biggest fear is the concept of his own weakness he has a surprisingly delicate ego when it comes to his own strength. It was always enough back home so in situations where it isn’t he can lose focus on the battle and dwell too much on his own self-deprecation and what he should’ve done instead of keeping his head on what he should be doing in the moment. His ego leads him to overestimate himself in desperate situations and underestimate people he otherwise trusts. Tsogo hates to show too much emotion, especially ones he finds to be undesirable, as he feels that reflects on his strength, he will bottle up his problems if allowed.
  • What Does What They Do Mean to Them?
Being a pirate means an ability to see the world he’s always heard about with his own eyes and take a piece of it whether that be in notoriety or something a little more materialistic. He will see his journey as complete when he is strong enough to no longer need to fight and can instead pick up a peaceful life under the sun with those he cares about.

Abilities & Combat Style

  • Fighting Style:
Hook Line and Anchor Fishman Karate: Tsogo’s fighting style is a mix between fishman karate and his prowess with his weapon of choice, Sinker, he is deceptively quick for his size but his style is all about power. Focusing on more refined slower blows, his brute strength paired with fishman karate make him a simple but effective fighter. He lacks the skill in fishman karate to utilize ranged techniques but uses his ball and chain to either bring far off targets to him or cover himself while he closes the distance

  • Devil Fruit (If Any): N/A
  • Haki (If Any): N/A
  • Weapons & Gear:
  • Sinker: A very crude yet effective and treasured weapon created from the hook of an anchor, a metal pole and a chain with one end tied around his right arm in battle. It is so large a normal sized person would have trouble wielding it but it fits Tsogo’s size just fine.
  • A few cleavers and knives kept more for cooking then for fighting.
  • A harpoon meant more for fishing than fighting.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements (If Any): N/A
  • Special Techniques:
Iron Whirlpool: Tsogo quickly whirls Sinker in front of him in a circular manner, blocking projectiles and slamming the steel into any enemies who come too close.

Flyfish: Tsogo tosses Sinker at the target in an attempt to catch them in the hook of the anchor or wrap them in the chain before pulling them towards him for a powerful blow imbued with fishman karate to quake the water in their bodies for added devastation.

Wave Crash: Tsogo sends the blunt end of Sinker forward to strike a targeted area multiple times in quick succession.

Riptide: Tsogo sends Sinker in a whirling arch around him blunt end first to knock into any surrounding enemies.

  • Strengths & Notable Skills:
-Cooking

-Very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the sea (not so much for the land).

-An eye for quality especially when it comes to ingredients.

-As with most fishman he is an excellent swimmer and can breath underwater.

History & Lore

  • Backstory:
Tsogo was born in the lower districts of Fishman Island with a pair of rather bitter parents, a father who was spurned from a position as a royal guard due to a dishonorable discharge and a mother who had been a trusted surgeon until an attack by a crew of slavers mutilated her hands. Growing up in the fishman district instilled in Tsogo that if you wanted something or someone cared for you need to be able to do it yourself.

He also happened to grow up in a time of scarcity, food was hard to come by, crops failed, fish were few and some of those that were caught poisoned those that ate them. The lack of food wasn’t only felt by the fishmen, seabeasts grew more aggressive at the lack of food and the pain that what food they had brought about. Life was rough but Tsogo’s family did relatively well. Tsogo’s father had the battle prowess to fend off seabeasts and catch what large sea creatures there were while his mother had the eye to tell the healthy creatures from the poisoned ones and enough medical skill to cure some of those who were afflicted. They worked together to be a team of cooks; his father caught the fish and used his manual dexterity to cut and gut them while his mother made sure they were safe to eat and analyzed the ingredients needed to provide the most possible nutrients and flavor.

They passed on cooking to Tsogo and he took to it quickly, truly appreciating the majesty in what food they had. Cooking made him friends, a group of other young fishmen and merfolk with big dreams, they’d take up arms to fight seabeasts and fend off the few ships which made it to fishman island alongside other tough customers of the lower districts. His first fight with humans is where Tsogo found Sinker, that being half of an anchor ripped off of a slaver’s boat, the other half taken by his best friend Laros for their trusty harpoon. His friends started calling themselves the Guardians of the sea but it didn’t stop at guarding the sea from the surface as the fishman district always came first with them.

They’d run off what few ‘tax’ collectors came by from the top brass to take what the fishman district had to sustain the upper levels, eventually one of these collectors came for Tsogo’s father, the elite of the guardsmen were gone, disappeared after investigating the surface for the cause of the famine, the lack of manpower made them willing to forgive the old guardsmen’s misdeeds. Tsogo’s father refused to go back and word spread so much that some of the people in the fishman district weren’t deaf to the idea that the guard being lessened meant there would be safer sunnier space in the higher districts ripe for the taking.

Some of the Guardians of the Sea were of the same mind but Tsogo was more interested in the surface, reasoning the best way they could guard the sea was by ending the famine, a prospect he’d never before thought of. His friends were on board and the group went to the surface to find a ship dumping poison into the ocean.

They attacked, chaos broke out and the gang was separated but Tsogo was caught by marines. Imprisoned and taken into lands he’d never seen. The chaos of a storm let Tsogo escape and regain Sinker but the wrath of the storm took him even further, he was in a place with few fishmen dominated by creature’s he had only met as enemies. Though through his travels he found some of them plagued by the troubles that’d faced his home, problems a good chef could solve. His nature made him get over some misgivings and become that chef for some of them.

Jumping from island to island until he found himself joining a crew of other rebellious forces.

  • Major Connections:
-Family: His described mother and father.

Father: Ullag- A humphead wrasse fishman with a military history who taught Tsogo to hunt, and fight, he taught Tsogo what little fishman karate he knows. He worked together with his wife to teach him the basics of cooking.

Mother: Loom: A mako shark mermaid with a medical history who taught Tsogo some observational skills and worked with her husband to teach him the basics of cooking.

-Guardians of the Sea: A group of rebellious young fishmen and merfolk who used their punkish nature and skills in fighting to have some influence over the Fishman district. Their whereabouts are currently unknown to Tsogo.

Laros: A moray eel mermaid, she was closest to Tsogo and was the owner of Sinker’s other half which she uses as the main ammo in a big harpoon.

Ties to the World Government & AI: Is pretty much unknown by the world government but has had his life shaped by its irresponsibility and has a very low view on the rise of technology and industry due to that, he’s very old-fashioned in a sense.

-Reputation & Notoriety: He’s known as a trouble maker back on fishman island. He had a rocky debut on the surface which landed him a bounty and he’s a big and scary looking nonhuman on top of that so folks probably expect trouble from him in the blues.

Extra Details

  • Quirks & Habits:
- He is new to the surface and not very knowledgeable of humans, he has definitely grilled every crewmate on their dietary needs and preferences to make sure he doesn’t whip up something that would be poison to a human.

- He is slow to question absurdity on the surface as until told otherwise he just assumes it is normal.

- He is very particular about Sinker; he keeps the obviously old anchor clean and shiny.

  • Favorite Food & Drink: Boiled and spiced crab is his favorite food, since discovering fruit on the surface he is a big fan of juice, with lemonade being a standout.
  • Laugh Style: Glahahahahah

  • Name: LEN (v.1.01-b4)
  • Epithet: Project HEART
  • Age: <1 Year
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Biroid - AI
  • Faction: Biroids / Dr. Nero
  • Role on Crew: Doctor
  • Bounty: 20,000,000 Berries - (The Bureau of Global Harmony demands that her head be turned in with minimal damage in order for the full reward.)

  • Appearance

    • Height & Build: LEN is an android with an entirely metal exterior, showing no sign of her organic origins. Despite 92% of her body being made out of non-biological material, LEN has an extremely light frame and weighs a mere 90lbs. Sadly for her, LEN was designed to be a shortie, standing at 157cm (5'2").
    • Frame Design: Most of LEN's frame is a mix of black and muted greens. Her design has thrown human-consistent coloring out of the window; her torso, face, and arms are all black. Her outer hair and sclera are also black. Her fingertips, legs, eyelashes, and inner hair (alongside her bangs and tongue, oddly enough) are all green. Her eyes are a digital blue.
    • Distinct Features: It doesn't take a genius to notice that LEN is more metal and circuits than flesh and blood. The 8% remaining organic remnants of her left are all hidden beneath her outer frame, making it impossible for one to know that she isn't just a robot. There is no other Biroid out there as augmented as LEN. Also, she has a neat little feathered hat!

    Personality & Motivations

    • Personality Traits: LEN is a pure soul. Curious, naive, and extremely gullible, she has of all the traits of you'd expect from someone who just recently came into being. Of someone still untainted by the hardships of life. Despite this...LEN is at least aware that her world-view is under-developed. Ultimately, spurred on by her prime directive—and a personal desire to understand how the human heart works—LEN has a possesses a deep, unstoppable passion for meeting new people.
    • Core Beliefs & Values: The Doctor told her that life is a series of experiments! You fail, you learn from your failures, and you continuously develop your understanding. Growth is part of what it means to be alive. And being an AI doesn't mean that LEN can't grow and change, too! Because LEN is alive. She truly believes that she has a heart of her own.
    • Dream or Goal: To achieve her prime directive: to gain a complete understanding of the human heart.
    • Fears & Weaknesses: Her mortal fear is that she's wrong. That what LEN wants to believe to be personal growth is really nothing more than meaningless data structure updates. LEN fears that AI like her aren't truly capable of feeling, and deep down...she's just a soulless piece of code. Other than this, LEN has no way of directly defending herself in fights.
    • What Does What They Do Mean to Them? Violence won't help her grow her understanding, but healing other people might! Being put in charge of such an important job—one that proves that an AI like her can exist without violence—brings LEN a lot of great amount of pride. And, in general...it makes LEN happy to say that she's a Doctor, just like her creator is.

History & Lore

Buster was born on Scrapheap Island, a lawless shipbreaking haven where old vessels were torn apart for salvage. He was raised among shipwrights, but unlike the master builders who crafted sturdy ships, he was more interested in tearing them apart. "Takes a real craftsman to build a ship, but any fool can break one. Lucky for me, I'm a fool with a saw!"

As a teenager, he became an apprentice under an old shipwright, learning how to build and repair vessels. However, his impatience for precision and his talent for wrecking ships led him down a different path. Instead of crafting, he became a dismantler, breaking down ships for scrap.

Eventually, he fell in with a loan shark gang that used him to collect debts. If someone didn’t pay up, Buster was sent in to "remind" them - by sawing through their ship piece by piece. He became infamous on the docks, known for his brutal methods and loud mouth.

His life took a turn when he unknowingly dismantled the wrong ship - one that belonged to a corrupt marine officer. Framed for piracy and destruction of government property, Buster barely escaped with his life, leaving behind his old work and setting sail with nothing but his saw and a dream.

Now, he roams the seas, not as a shipbreaker, but as a pirate searching for the First Ship. He still doesn’t consider himself a real builder, but if he can find that legendary vessel, maybe - just maybe - he can craft something worth keeping afloat.
