Fandom Wyvern's Nest! [Fandoms Version!]

Hello, my name is Wyvern and welcome to my nest. I am a very experienced role-player, having at least ten years under my belt with several partners. I try and post my replies as often as I can, but I am a full-time collage student and have illnesses that sometimes takes me out for a few days. I also have ADHD and read people's replies, then forgot if I replied, so sometimes it may seem like I am ghosting but in reality, I just forgot or am in hospital. Furthermore, I am communication heavy with my role-play partners. If I know I will not be as active, am not feeling the role-play anymore/you're breaking my boundaries, or I want to discuss something with you, I will communicate it with you the best that I can.

Dealbreakers for me:

• You are under the age of 18.
  
  
  • I am above the age of 18 and would prefer my role-play partners to be as well. This makes me feel the most comfortable with my partners, as topics like violence and romance are themes I would not feel comfortable adding with anyone below the age of 18.
• You play the damsel in distress
  
  
  • So, this should be pretty clear, but if not, I do not want to play your hero for the entire role-play.
    
    
    • To get more specific into this, I do not like the idea of your character always being in trouble and needing to be saved. For some plots, I am fine with adding a little heroism like in my superhero role-plays, but if the entire plot of our role-play is your character being constantly saved, I will get bored very easily. I know that a lot of people love playing this trope, but I had some bad experiences with this type of role-play, so I am sorry that people ruined it for you.
• The role-play turns into a therapy session
  
  
  • Here's the thing, I can handle some level of venting in character, but I do not want mental health issues to be the main focus of our role-play. I understand some characters are heavily traumatized (Ghost, Dabi, Bucky, etc.) but what I mean here is I do not want every other response to be your character crying or needing to be saved. I am not a therapist and if you are struggling with your own mental health, please seek professional help because they can help you a lot better than I can.
• Spamming me
  
  
  • I am a busy guy with dozens of role-plays. If I am online, and you see me, I do not mind you checking in on me, but if you get mad that I am not responding back to back 24/7 this will not work out. I love to check up on my partners out of role-play and am fine if you want to check in on me, but sometimes I would get messages like [Boop, Reply?, *copy and pasted reply.*] I promise I am not dead (unless the cancer finally took me down/j) but rather, I am just going through life. I often have set reply times when I set aside just for role-plays and tend to be rather punctual with them.
• Forcing me to play a female character
  
  
  • It is rather rare for me to play as a female character. I only play as certain female characters, and all of my OCs have a masculine lean.

  • I love playing as CCs for people's OCs! I know that people often force doubling on people, but I am not one of those people. Honestly, I find that it gets rather exhausting to be constantly told that you can only role-play with someone if you romance their self-insert OC. (For you rare few who actually have a good OC and got taken advantage of in this situation, you're not included. I love y'all.)
• I love out of role-play yapping!
  
  
  • I love to send memes, photos of my cats, checking up on ya, everything. I find that it is easier to role-play with someone you vibe with, and I am a rather friendly person!
• LGBTQIA+ friendly
  
  
  • I am a gay man, of course I am going to be chill with LGBTQ characters! And this isn't just for the cis characters, I love the trans and intersexed characters too. (Just let me know if you do alter CCs or if your OC has a different identity to their birth gender. I will make sure they feel nice and comfy!)
• Responses that differ from person to person
  
  
  • I am happy with one-liners, and I am happy with 6k words. My preferred style is advanced lit, but I am more than happy to match your style.

  • As I mentioned at the top there, I have ten (soon to be eleven) years of role-play experience. I know the DOs and DONTs of role-playing. Everything from:
    
    
    • Being professional and keeping up with decent grammar (to the best of my abilities)
    • I will not ghost you (unless you keep breaking my boundaries even after me asking you to stop. It's happened before, sadly)
    • I am ghosting friendly (although I prefer a heads-up, but sometimes I get that it's easier to just ghost if you are afraid to hurt my feelings.)
    • I plot out my role-plays before starting them so we don't get bored and chat about possible ideas during the role-plays
    • I can handle adult themes such as gore, violence, etc.

  • Do you have triggers that you want me to avoid? Do you have to go away for a while? No problem! I am super respectful to everyone!

Updates from the nest: Hello all, making this quick as this was originally supposed to be a bump! I have been having a rather rough week with my cancer so I apologize for my reply schedule. I finally was able to get back home and am replying as I have the time for them. It's a lot easier to respond to ooc chatter and smaller role-plays than my longer ones to avoid massive burnout, so I appreciate the patience you all have had and I expect to finish them by the end of the week.
