South East West II
Korto, "The Land of Plenty", pulsates with life. Spanning across a complete continent, Korto is a diverse kingdom.

To the North, you have the wetlands, home to many of the Water Lord's creations. The humid nature of the lands to the North allow mermaids to walk on land without fear of drying out. However, it's not too moist to the point a sensitive mer might shift by simply breathing. A significant town to the North is Opal, a place known for its fishing, healers, and shipyards.

To the east, you have a mixture of Greats and Dragons. The mountainous, yet plain filled area allows the Fire and Earth Lord's creations to spread their true forms in the vast area. A prominent town to the East is Pyro, a place renowned for its weapons craftsmen and magic hot springs. On the cusp of Pyro, there's the Red Mountain. Despite its name, it's actually an inactive volcano. Fortunately, the surrounding area is aware of its true nature and no life is within range. The Red Moutain earned its name because of the muddy orange and black rocks and soil which make up the bulky mass. However, the Red piece comes to fruition when it's focal point comes into play. Red pulsating cracks litter the mountain, giving it a ruby's glow. These features are unnatural to the green plains and normal mountains that the North typically possesses.

To the south you have the "shadow" lands, a place shrouded in a magical fog that limits sunlight, specifically made for the vampires of Zylo. The most light you'll see in these lands are from magic tech or a fool moon.

Next, we have the west area, home to the great forest. Here, angels and fae co-exist in unnatural harmony. Lesta, the most popular town to the west is located in the middle of the west. Here, you'll find animal tamers, healers, and the Divine Cave, comprised of angel quartz. When the sun hits this sacred ground, it glows like a star. In addition to being home to the divine cave, Lesta is home to the Holy Cathedral. A massive building, built with stone and angel quartz from the Divine Cave, it shines similarly to the Divine Cave. Deep underground, you'll find The Holy Well( that is used by the church reforge weapons into a sentient holy weapon capable of great feats as long as they offer suitable & sufficient 'sacrifice'. This is one of the "Six Wonders" of Zylo, which has caused many strifes in history.

Lastly, we have Korto's capital, "Rose". Known as the heart of Korto, Rose is a place of knowledge, ambition, and of course, deceit. It's prim and proper exterior, sleek pathways and lively merchant areas mak the Rose a beaut, at face value. During the night, rose thorns show. Shady deals are made, illegal items are sold, and nobles have their "secret" meetings. Whilst the "Rose" is better known for its prestige and magical advancement, it's also known for it's Arena. The arena is the name of a place which has classes in all sort of fighting and magic. Many come here to test their skills or be noticed by the military or nobility. In addition, to the Arena, Rose has a very popular tavern; Terra. Here, you'll find bards, recruiters, and travelers. It gained it's fame for its food and lavish exterior. As a result, many come to meet new people and create connections.

In short, Korto is a land of diversity and drama.

Yuri was taking a good ol' walk through the Korto continent, just trying to look around, wanting to see what humans were up to these days, nobody had any way of knowing he was a dragon, so he was safe to roam the streets, he was pretty sure no human knew how to tell the difference between a Dragon human and a human, he had walked from the mountains of the east, into the west, not that far, just trying to see markets, and inspect the humans, it was a bit boring to stay in the mountains all the time, he was gonna go back soon, but he just wanted a bit of time to himself.
Soon he turned back, and started walking back towards the east, but as he looked at the Red Mountain, something felt off.... he started to ignore it, and keep walking back home, he'd seen enough human activity for one day.

S E R A P H I N E

It was early morning in Korto, and all seemed peaceful in Pyro. Little did anyone know the Red Mountain was about to reveal its true colors. This East staple had always seemed odd to Korto's inhabitants, and for good reason. The Red Mountain was one of the largest Mountains on the continent and possessed strange characteristics. For one, it resembled a volcano more so than a mountain, with its black and muddy orange colorings. However, it never spewed any lava nor did it ever show signs of desiring to do so. But, the Red Mountain was unnaturally hot. It's black stones sizzled whenever it rained and no plant life seemed to be able to grow near the oddity. In addition to it's volcanic like coloring and temperature, The Red Mountain was decorated with glowing red veins that resembled the texture of rubies. They never did anything, and many mistaken them for some form of crystal. Sadly, many soon learned these shiny veins were magical, and despite the lack of heat, when you made contact they ignited in blue flames. After a couple of tragic instances, adventures, tinkerers, and civilians soon learned to leave them alone. Strangely enough, this mechanism the veins possessed never activated at the touch of dragons. Though, few were bold enough to test if this was just a fluke. Today, however, the red veins that decorated the oddity were pulsating. Albeit it wasn't very noticeable from afar, the mountain was moving. Very little at first, but as time went on, full-blown tremors radiated from the mass. Luckily, inhabitants around the area had been intelligent enough to settle far from The Red Mountain. The black stones that made up the mass began to fall off, and when they landed, small sparks flew. From the top of the mountain, black smoke arose. Even from afar, the shaking of the Mountain was now noticeable. With one, two, three shakes - it exploded. Black boulders and fireballs flung across the area, resulting in minor fires to decorate the area the Red Mountain once took up. In the center of the rubble, laid a girl. Small in stature, but seemingly unharmed from the explosion. It was Seraphine. At first, she didn't move, seemingly unconscious. However, within a few moments, she rose from the ground with unnatural grace and screamed. The fire, soot, and black chunks seemed drawn to her cry and wrapped around her, growing in size. Before long, a monstrous titan took shape. The Embodiment of Fire had awakened.

▌Sarasa Argent
Amidst the soft whispers of the gentle, early morning breeze, the cheerful chirping of birds was interrupted by the sharp whistle of a blade cutting through air. A mass of panicked flapping followed a harsh thunk of metal digging into earth, and a black-clothed figure skidded to a stop at the foot of the mountain. Slowly, her eyes traveled from the peak of the famed Red Mountain back to the sword which had embedded itself deep into the dirt path. With unusual ease, the woman smoothly retrieved the sword and gave it a single swing before returning the silver blade to its sheath. However, her deep gaze continued to stare at the mountain path, as if contemplating climbing the strange mountain.

Even in the presence of other enchanted swords forged by Kye Argent, Argenteus had never reacted. This time, however, the sword had suddenly flown from its sheath and led her to her current position. Something was here. Whether or not it was dangerous was of no significance. If it related to the will of the Argent’s founder, she was obligated to heed its call

Soon enough, Sarasa’s expectations were answered. When the ground quivered in anticipation for whatever entity was awakening, the grey dragon tensed. Unfortunately, the mass of smoke and balls of fire that the mountain spat out violently obscured her vision, preventing her from making out the small figure which had been hidden within the mountain’s depths. It was only when a large behemoth wrapped in flames that Sarasa finally gained an inkling as to why her sword had drawn her to this place.

Argenteus vibrated, seemingly in excitement, in Sarasa’s grasp, further cementing the theory which had begun to construct itself in her mind. Long ago, her eldest brother had once told her tales of a god who had walked alongside their ancestors. Though she often assumed the guise of a human much like red dragons, her true form was said to be made up of flames stronger than the breath of the most powerful red dragon while purer than the most talented green dragon. That god was Seraphine, an Elemental Lord and the Embodiment of Fire.

The present clues weren’t enough to deduce the great fire entity’s identity, but the glimmer of Argenteus’s blade and the heating up of the blood pulsing through her veins gave her the sense that this was indeed her race’s god. Sarasa frowned. On one hand, she didn’t appreciate her natural gravitation towards this supposed god: she had never been particularly reverent towards those outside of her immediate family. On the other hand, she wasn’t a thankless wretch who couldn’t appreciate her race’s ancient mother, and whatever this awakening signified was related to the will of Kye Argent himself. Yes, at the very least, she must ask about why their god had disappeared only to resurface now.

With bold strides forward, Sarasa leapt up the mountainside, closing the distance between her and the fiery entity. She stopped only once she was sure her voice would be heard by the titan while still remaining a safe distance away. Thumping her sword’s sheath on the floor, the dragon called out to Seraphine in a polite but loud and clear voice:

“I, Sarasa Argent of the First Noble House of Grey Dragons, have come to pay my respects to the Elemental Lord of Fire. Your humble servant wishes to inquire your current state of health and intentions.”

Suddenly, a new thought questioning her sanity tickled the back of her mind. God or not, the entire situation was strange, and she couldn’t tell whether or not the deity was enraged, panicked, confused, or the like. If this weren’t potentially courting disaster, she didn’t know what was.

While keeping her stance taut, Seraphine moved her gaze to the small creature below her. Although she didn't acknowledge most of what the woman said, Seraphine understood the word dragon and immediately began to shrink. In an attempt to keep her flames from hurting the girl, Seraphine absorbed the inferno and debris that surrounded her being. Within moments, Seraphine was in her human form. Distrusting golden eyes looked up at the silver-haired woman above her.

"Oh great," Seraphine murmured sarcastically as she jumped up to stand beside the proclaimed, "grey" dragon. Despite the height difference, Seraphine held no second guesses for what she was about to do. Without giving a moment to answer Sarasa's inquiries, Seraphine grabbed Sarasa's hand and checked the girl's temperature by placing her cheek on the back of Sarasa's hand. With a grin, Seraphine turned her attention to the girl's face.

"Good-morning to you too," teased Seraphine, her demeanor softening. With a quick glance and temperature check, Seraphine could verify Sarasa was indeed a dragon. She paid no thought to the rest of the noble's introduction, too caught up in Sarasa's appearance.

"You're absolutely breath-taking," commented Seraphine as she circled the girl eagerly, eyeing every inch of the girl's human form in admiration. After a moment, Sarasa's question finally took hold of the God's mind and Seraphine physically facepalmed.

"I'm fine, terribly weak. I can't hold my true form for the life of me," admitted Seraphine nonchalantly, as she stared at Sarasa's chest. Not in a lustful, but fascinated way. You see, Seraphine could see the internal flame that made dragons. In her original creations, the flame was usually Reddish orange, large and wild. With Sarassa however, it was black and small, but extremely concentrated. Not only that, but a grey and green mist also seemed to dance around the girl's flame. Suddenly the girl's phrase "grey dragon" made sense.

"You've evolved," Seraphine blurted, taking a step back to properly take a full look at the dragon before her. The shock was evident in Seraphine's widen eyes, and her caramel skin even seemed to pale.

"How long was I imprisoned?" fretted the God, before moving her gaze from Sarassa to her surroundings. Realization slowly took hold. With a jolt, Seraphine stared at Sarassa in horror. What had the world become?

Environment Clarification
On the edge of the East, near Pyro resides a chain of mountains. In the middle, once stood the great Red Mountain. However, due to Seraphine's awakening. Only rubble and ash remain in its place. The surrounding mountains are still present. The towns behind and in front of the mountains are unharmed, but the spectacle was noticeable to any inhabitants within the East. The East is a valley and plain filled area with large but, well-spaced towns. The air is clean, and the sky bright. It's very sunny in these parts.

Marella
There were few words that could be used to describe the strange phenomena that made the northwestern waters of Korto a nightmare to sail through. A never-ending maelstrom that seemed to have its own twisted conscience. Spitting up strange creatures that clearly should've remained at the depths of the sea, enveloping boats in a dense fog that only seemed to dissipate when the captain of the ship was laid to rest in a watery bed, and gifting those within it nothing but hardship and misery as they wondered if they would find themselves safely at their destination on placid waters or lost to the ocean and its unforgiving wrath.

The wonder had existed so long no fisherman's tale could best the other hundreds of stories told by the young men and women who boldly claimed they survived a night just miles from the center of the storm.
Realistically, few creatures that inhabited Zylo had ever been even close to the center of the vortex, able to hear the haunting screaming, crying, and occasional singing from a woman's voice that came from it. Anyone who could perfectly recall the tale and not be shaken by the experience was a blowhard, and unworthy of their claim as a seafarer.

What was really at the center, of course, was a devastated Marella, who'd spent every minute in imprisonment feeling nothing but turbulent rage and sorrow. A pair of emotions that after countless years, she had just tired of feeling. As soon as she reached up to wipe tears from her eyes, a wail escaped her, the memories of the mermaids she had not seen in so, so, so long flooding her mind as she saw her own form, purple skin accompanied by webbed fingers and arms with gills.

Around the continent, to any beachgoers, merfolk settlements, or early-rising fishermen, the ocean was suddenly completely still. For a very brief moment, the tide stopped, rivers slowed, and her prison had dissipated. Through the water the wail found the ears of any merperson willing to listen, and was a call to any who shared her title."The Siren has returned".

Yuri had watched the volcano exploding, there was something very, very off about it doing so so suddenly, so he sprouted his dragon wings, and started to fly towards the mountain, and saw a pair of people, he couldn't tell if they were dragons or not, but he still knew that no human was stupid enough to travel up this high on the mountain, in case something happened.
He landed next to the two people, freaking out a bit, and retracting his wings, "What are you two idiots doing over here? The volcano is exploding, even if you are dragons, fire may not effect you, but the sheer impact of the explosion, and the debris would certainly annihilated you, unless it's not a full-scale explosion, of course." He explained solemly, not wanting anyone to get hurt, but not knowing who these two even are, he may be dense, but that doesn't mean he can't try and save people, even though he had no idea who they were.

"Now this is vacation! Haha!" The hulking man clad in now stinking wet fur garments exclaimed joyously as he spread out his limbs in a hot spring. Pools of warm water emanating a strange energy, whatever it was being beyond this person's comprehension. All the while, bath attendants nervously approached the visitor, attempting and failing to coax him into paying for his rather extended stay in the bath. "Warm bath built into the very rock itself.. and sun that isn't so shy! Enough to make King consider conquest.." His brow furrowed, eyes darting to the robed civilians who had long since distanced themselves from him in the bath they unfortunately shared. "A joke! I come to your lands for only one purpose.. you will see! We all see.." He raised his voice a bit higher than he might have intended to, sending the bath attendants fleeing without a single coin of payment received. This traveler had come from afar, with nought but the apparent clothes on his back, taking passage by force, his journey based only on a simple feeling, a sort of animal instinct. A feeling that the day of "awakening" was nigh, and that this kingdom was the place to be. It took much to pry him away from his homeland, but if this "knowing" he possessed was the truth, then that meant his destiny was to leave, it was the fate his great and mighty ancestors had laid out before him, and to reject that would be to dishonor their memory.

Only a few hours would pass, before the man was awoken by the slightest trembling of the earth. Before even lifting his lids, he saw images of fire, smoke, and devastation. Eyes now wide with an understanding, a knowing; he launched himself into the air, collapsing the rock pool he once relaxed within, leaping and grabbing hold of a high tree branch from a grove surrounding the hot springs, without even thinking to release the illusion of humanity he had cast upon himself. Witnessing the emergence of a great power from the nearby mountain, a wide grin grew upon his face as he caught a glimpse of an enormous being of pure flame. "And so, it begins! What does it mean? I not know! But fate of world will be decided this day.. haha, yes.." He laughed heartily, but his eyes were dark and deadly serious with the knowledge that powers beyond his imagining were at play, be that power to create or to destroy, he could only wait and see.

Swinging back and forth from the branch, Oligos the Mountain King let go and allowed himself to fly into the growing cloud of smog and ash, covering his mouth with his arm before he descended onto the mountain, the cracked earth crumbling beneath his feet, sliding a great distance before coming to a stop a distance from the base of the mountain, at a point where he should have been able to observe the descent of the giant, though it was currently nowhere to be seen. Now sitting cross-legged upon a large boulder, he spotted a small gathering of individuals upon the mountain's remains as the ash began to dissipate, but he felt a great heat emerging from the mountainside, and a knowing that it's source was still among them.

Radiant

"The Holy Cathedral is an ancient structure and is said to be made roughly hundred of thousand years ago to protect the Holy Well from the unworthy. The Goddes of life Madonna granted us The Well as a proof that unlike the other Lords, she would never abandon her creations."

Inside the empty main hall of the cathedral, two figures stand next to each other. One was an angel priestess drapped in gold-trimmed white robe and the other was Radiant in her starry night attire. The smooth crystalline wall of the cathedral gleams with otherworldly beauty as the morning sun kissed its surface, creating a solemn atmosphere inside, and in front of them was a massive statue of a woman with flawless figure.

"Ehh, so this big-boobed woman is Madonna." Radiant pointed at the statue further, her eyes darted between the statue's ample bossom, curvaceous hips and ever-flowing long wavy hair. The statue was depicted while riding a massive rainbow and holding a luminous sceptre with star-shaped gemstone at the tip. On her back, a massive amount of transparent fae wings and feathery angel wings framed the entire statue in a regal way. She wasn't sure if the statue was supposed to be her, Air, both of them or neither of them.

"Calling our Lord Madonna like that is uncalled for. Even if you're a non-believer." The angel priestess, whose introduced herself as Aria frowned upon hearing Radiant called the statue as big-boobed.

"It's a compliment though." Radiant just shrugged and replied casually.

Radiant's escape from her imprisonment had been rather dull. The seal broke, probably ton of light coming out but that's no use when she was sealed so deep underground, she crawled out of the well, climbed the staircase out of the cathedral's basement and wandered around the perimeter. Surprisingly there's not much people currently but that's because most people ran outside when they heard massive explosion from the far east. Then she met Aria, who mistook her for a lost tourist and was eager to gives a detailed introduction about the cathedral. The priestess continue her speech by praising the King Elroma V who spent enermous amount of wealth to renovate the building and adding even more angel quartz, or how Saint Ethel use the cathedral as a base operation during a pandemic or- WAIT!!!

Radiant just got released from her boring imprisonment, no way she would spent her first moment of freedom listening to a random priestess about people she never cared about! Radiant waited until the priestess' attention was drawn towards the cathedral's altar, the priestess then startled rambling about the holy material or whatever and Radiant took it as her cue to leave. She used her godly speed to dashes out of the building, saving her time and sanity.

She yelled as loud as posssible when she saw the morning sky. She really missed being outside like this, being imprisoned underground and all that. She heard footsteps from inside the building, probably Aria realized that she had escaped the boring speech. Not wanting to deal with the priestess, Radiant started running towards the exit while giggling joyfully. She was thinking to check the explosion from before, but she didn't feels the need to rush for it. For now, she just wants to run and feels the breeze on her skin.

Jaime Crestfall

Words.
Words travel fast.

It was a bustling late morning in the capital when the news reached Jaime's ears.

"Jaime! Jaime! JAIME, MY BOY!" A rather annoying, shrill voice croaked from behind the bar of Buck n' Smash- one of the humbler inns dotting the fine city of Rose. From one of the supposed-to-be empty tables came a tired groan, a messy blend of chestnut hair, almond eyes, and rosy skin rising from the surface that was usually reserved for customers. "Get your lazy rear over here, you sloth of a young man."

"I was having a nice sleep too..." The said sloth grumbled, pushing himself to his feet as he made his way to the bar, stretching his limbs as though he has been stuck inside a box for centuries.

A newspaper roll immediately smacked him on the head as soon as he leaned on the island, forcing him to glare at the burly and very hairy man in front. "Mr. Bucklesmash, that was uncalled for." He said disapprovingly.

"Shush! I don't pay you to sleep on my tables!" The older man huffed, his long blonde beard that was greying on its trims swaying as he did so. "Or better yet, I don't pay you to sleep!"

Jaime felt the urge to remind the man that he barely paid him anything at all last month. "What? It's not like we have any customers. The last time someone actually checked in here was... last Saturday."

"Shush! Shush! Shushhhhh!" Mr. Bucklesmash, true to his name, repeatedly smashed the newspaper on the young man's crown. "I know the business isn't doing very well. Mostly because of that traitorous snake, Hank, who opened another inn a few blocks from ours."

"Right," Jaime rolled his eyes, "How dare he open an inn that has better strategic position and service than ours." He finished dryly.

"SHUSH!" Another whack on the head followed. "We're on the brink of bankruptcy which is why I came up with a genius plan." The big man then began shuffling to the kitchen only to return with boxes of what smelled like... sweets.

Jaime immediately felt his stomach growling. "Stress eating? Sign me up." He reached out for one only to receive another set of smacks.

"Lay your clammy hands on my cakes and I will shove you in my oven."

Jaime immediately retracted his hands, beads of sweat rolling down his temple.

"Well, what do you need me for then?" He asked, brow furrowed and arms crossed.

"I need you to get out there and sell these bad boys." The other male tapped the boxes, a proud grin on his face. "They're lava cakes. I modeled them after the Red Mountain."

"...But why?" He could never truly understand why someone would exert effort to make food look like anything. Then again, aesthetics do help in attracting buyers... or anything. And people would more likely eat something presentable. Would be useful in espionage. Could Mr. Bucklesmash be a spy? Nah, he was too annoying to be one. "Never mind."

However, Mr. Bucklesmash only stared at him, disbelief clear in his eyes. "You... slept through everything, didn't you?"

"Huh?"

"... Just get out there and sell these." The innkeeper, turned baker, shoved the dozen of boxes towards the other. "And maybe stare at Pyro's skies while you're at it."

After a few seconds of blankly staring at each other, Jaime let out a sigh and took the boxes before leaving the establishment. Really, he needed a new job soon. Mr. Bucklesmash was a good man, but he really has no idea how to run a business. It was a mystery how he still has coins up to this day.

However, as he walked down the streets, his boss' words resurfaced and he found himself gazing to Pyro's direction. Jaime's eyes immediately widened as it caught sight of the black smoke and fire embracing the humongous mountain.

"Good fuck!" He exclaimed. "I knew it wasn't an inactive volcano."

Radiant

You know that moment when you run so fast that time and space feels like a blur? No? Radiant had been running using her upmost speed for only a few moments. She was running towards the east because that's where she heard the explosion. However, since she was running at such high speed after a very long time of not using it she wasn't prepared to stop when the city of Rose came into view. She tried to brake, but the momentum gathered was enough to make her sliding on her feet across half the length of the city.

"Excuse me!!" She yelled out loud to warns people to move out of her way. The gathered civilians scream and break apart in panic as the they tried to give the moving meteor that was Radiant a pathway. Radiant herself was busy steering away from people and building, if she hit something she would likely be the one that got flattened. After a exhaustingthrilling trip across the capital's alleyways, she slow down drastically and would stop very soon. It's just she was distracted by a cotton candy stall that she didn't notice a young man carrying several box on her way. Radiant screamed when she noticed this but it's all too late and her face crashed into the boxes the man was holding before she stumbled into a stack of hay with her face full of lava cakes.

"Hey, the taste is not bad." She said to herself while trying to eat some of the cake from her head.

▌Sarasa Argent
Sarasa flinched when Seraphine grabbed her calloused hand and brought it to her cheek. Nevertheless, the dragon stood still as a rock, merely observing the god of fire’s facial expression. It didn’t appear that the god was going to bite, and she could vaguely guess Seraphine’s current intentions. Though her pale horns were a telltale sign of her lineage, it appeared that there now existed individuals from other races who possessed horns as well. Thus, she could only assume that the most reliable method of discerning her kind was through their natural body temperature.

What she hadn’t expected, however, was for the god to praise her appearance with her gaze and words of admiration. Having been caught off-guard by the compliment, Sarasa was left momentarily stunned. Seraphine’s following commentary on how her race had evolved just barely registered in her mind.

“Oh… Yes, there are four of our kind now,” Sarasa informed, though her brow quirked upwards upon having observed Seraphine’s panicked gestures. Her expression melted into one of understanding and consolation when the god asked how long she had been impressioned. However, before she could calculate the rough time period described in the legends concerning Seraphine, a third voice interrupted the twosome.

"What are you two idiots doing over here?”

By the time the newcomer had finished saying the rest of his words, a short but nonetheless amused laugh escaped Sarasa’s mouth. Not only had the boy referred to a deity as an idiot, but he had also warned the Embodiment of Fire to beware of explosions. Fully realizing that her behavior was an ill-suited response towards the dragon’s worries, she coughed once.

“Pardon my rudeness,” she apologized sheepishly, though her eyes still twinkled with amusement. Her eyes trailed towards the ashen ruins where the great mountain had once stood. The red-haired dragon’s words weren’t completely wrong. True, they weren’t in any immediate danger, but a setting where smoke and ash hung in the air was hardly an optimal spot to hold a briefing.

“Yes, perhaps it might be in our best interest to relocate to a more comfortable setting before we discuss anything,” Sarasa suggested. She gestured towards the direction of Pyro. “I know of a relatively quiet inn with good food and drink, though their, ah, customer service could use some work.”

With a nod, Seraphine shifted her attention to the newcomer.

"I was the explosion, but thank you," Seraphine said half-heartily, more concerned with touching his cheek. Just as she figured, he was hotter than Sarasa. With a glance at his chest, her worries lifted.

"Oh you still exist," Seraphine commented with a sigh of relief. The male dragon's inner flame mimicked that of her original creations. Large and untamed. Turning to Sarasa, she pointed at Yuri.

"I just woke up and I already met two out of the four different kinds of children I have," she chimed before grinning ear to ear at the recommendation of going to a nearby town. Thoughts of meeting others got Seraphine excited. Maybe, she'd even run into another God or two.

"Just down there? I'll race you," Seraphine teased before glancing at Yuri.

"And you too," Seraphine shouted as blue flames rocketed from the palms of her hands and feet soles, propelling her forward. The freshness of the air rejuvenated Seraphine, causing her flames to only burn brighter. Her short, fiery reddish-orange hair flailed in the wind sometimes falling into her eyes, but she didn't mind. Before Seraphine knew it, she was at the starting point of the town.

With a thud, Seraphine landed in a small valley of dandelions and misshapen rocks of all sizes. She would've flown to the "Inn" but honestly, she didn't know the exact location. Seraphine wasn't known for finding her way around. Taking a seat on a nearby boulder, fatigue suddenly crushed her. The previous display of power was nothing more than adrenaline. Hopefully, this inn would have a place where Seraphine could rest. With a huff, Seraphine looked up at the sky in wait for the two dragons she'd just encountered. Hopefully, they wouldn't overlook her slouched figure in the sea of medicinal weeds.

Jaime Crestfall
Words.
Words weren't the only things that travel fast.

A loud yelp left the young man's lips as something barreled through him, sending the cake-filled boxes flying everywhere as the impact hurled him to the nearby wall. He let out a pained groan as he picked himself up, palms pressing against his back as he tried to stretch his aching joints back to their normal, painless state. However, whatever pain he was feeling quickly numbed when his eyes landed on the fallen boxes all over the ground, some of the cakes themselves were splattered like melting ice on the stone pavements.

"Oh shit!" Jaime cursed, resisting to slam his face back against the wall. He could already feel Mr. Bucklesmash's newspaper repeatedly hitting him. Or worse, the bear-like man might actually push him in his oven. He shivered at the thought before he was reminded that this whole fiasco wasn't entirely his fault.

The young man stomped to the stack of hay where the culprit was happily eating the cake crumbs on her face. "Hey! Stop eating that, you rainbow-haired blockhead!" He narrowed his eyes as he loomed over her, hands on his hips like an angry hen. "Do you have any idea of what you've done? Thanks to you, the Buck n' Smash inn is as good as dead." And so was he once Mr. Bucklesmash found out about this. "You better pay up for all of these." He crossed his arms and tapped his right foot against the ground impatiently, annoyance clear on his face.

Oligos raised his eyebrows in curiosity as the humanoid projectile of fire began on a trajectory in his general direction. The sensation of heat was unmistakable, there was nothing other than the embodiment of fire which could give off such a feeling. He shrugged his shoulders and smiled, prepared to take advantage of the opportunity as it presented itself. The boulder crumbled under his feet as he launched himself into the air from a sitting position, the blast of wind caused by his leap sending rubble flying in all directions. Arms outstretched, he aimed to land a respectable distance from the goddess, in front of her, so as not to come off as a threat. Landing on a single knee amidst a small wave of dust, he gave a brief bow. "Apology for the intrusion, goddess. Oligos, The Mountain King is at your service." He spoke loudly and with a thick accent, his booming voice seeming inconsistent with his still human form. His tone was respectful, but as he raised his head, it revealed a grin accompanied by serious eyes which could be construed as threatening or challenging, by a discerning eye.

Dusting himself off and standing to his full height, he began to pace around the goddess' boulder. "I bid welcome your return, goddess! I sense great changes to come.. and so happen, I was not wrong." Oligos turned his eyes in the direction of the ruined mountain, his brow furrowing as memories of his great mountain home of centuries past came rushing back to him. The will of gods and goddesses were of course, far above his own comprehension, but there was no denying the clear dangers presented by such immense power, where the petty concerns of mortals may or may not come into play. Perhaps it was arrogant of him to try this, but he had not been waiting this long to sit by and idle. "Tell me this, goddess. You have plan for Zylo? Does planet face further destruction?" He faced her again, glaring intensely for a moment. "Haha! You must forgive this man, as King of Mountain; not of this mountain.. but, you understand. I ask only out of duty as protector of earth." Oligos' tone softened as he gave a weak chuckle, struggling to express his intentions, and still not fully accustomed to speaking the common tongue.

While accosting the goddess of flame mere minutes following her awakening may very well earn him his death, it wouldn't be one he regretted. Oligos was simply that sort of man. "But perhaps you are requiring of directions, goddess? A most wonderful hot spring lay not far into this town! Ah.. what an evening it was.." He trailed off, already reminiscing with a smile about the strange pools he had laid in for hours not long before. "Lying sleep for so long.. bath like that would do wonders for your recovery! I am sure!" Oligos exclaimed excitedly, quickly forgetting the rather serious bout of questioning he had given the goddess moments before.

Radiant

Radiant's figure seemed to shrunk as the young man berated her for the destroyed cake. Her face also seemed paler than usual. She didn't took the incident seriously but for the man it seems to be a big deal. While Radiant was normally a hyperactive ball of zapping light, but once she acknowledged something as her fault she turned into a gullible and docile being.

She was thrown into a panic when the man demanded her to pay for it because she totally forgot about money. Holy Well was currently brimming with coins from ancient generations of kings and many more, however, Radiant nevet thought of sacking some of it and she didn't bother remembering the way back to the church. The only items that she took with her were the heart wand, the glitter sack and... the coin of ever-heard!

She shuffled through her pockets and fished out a small bronze coin with the relief of a past ancient king carved on its side. Having no knowledge about the current economy level, she could only hope that the coin would be enough payment. She offered the coin towards the angry man.

"I-is this enough?" Radiant asked anxiously.

"Yo! Tell me a joke and I will tell you a joke in return." The relief of the king on the coin suddenly spoke.

"Woah woah woah, hol up, did you just say... the four types of children, and that I still exist... and that you were the explosion... could you by chance be.... Lady Seraphine?" his eyes had widened as he had thought about it, adding it up, he may not be the smartest in the world, but he was far from an idiot. It honest didn't take long for him to figure out who she was, considering what she said, and whether it was her or not, he realized that as he was thinking to himself, she had taken off in a direction.
He then sprouted his wings, and jumped into the air, floating for a moment as he looked for where she had gone, and started to make his way over, his eyes trained on her, determined to figure this whole thing out.

With knitted brows, Jaime took the coin from the clumsy stranger and held it up against the sky, examining it thoroughly before it started speaking and freaked the light out of him. In shock, the young man almost dropped the said item until his other hand came to the rescue and he ended up juggling it around rather comically.

"What the heck!? It just talked!" He exclaimed, looking a little bit horrified as he held the thing as far as he could from his face. It was only after a few moments when he realized that there were people staring at him so he fixed himself, straightening his posture and clearing his throat.

Okay, there was no way that actually happened. Sure, people could throw fireballs from the palm of their hands, bend water around as if they were rubber, and conjure a ball of light to guide their way, but there was no freaking way someone can make an inanimate object speak. Jaime was convinced: the rainbow-haired dunce was pulling on his leg. He theorized that she was probably a street performer of some kind- plenty of those would cross Rose every now and then. He has seen one of them called puppeteers before. They can make objects seem as if they were moving and talking when in truth they were simply using invisible strings and whatnot. This girl was probably one of them.

"Okay, that's it." He huffed, rolling up his sleeves as he approached the female. "You think you can weasel your way out of paying with your fancy tricks? I'll let you know that this isn't my first time in the rodeo." He has been Mr. Bucklesmash's errand boy for years now, and she wasn't the first troublemaker he encountered.

With that, Jaime grabbed the stranger by the waist and lifted her up onto his shoulder, carrying her like a sack of potatoes. "I'm bringing you back to the boss himself. Let's see you hocus-pocus your way out of his wrath." He said before stomping back to the inn. If the female didn't resist, then the two of them would be by the inn within a few minutes.

Seraphine's golden eyes gleamed with curiousity. What was a mountain king? Seraphine listened to his heartfelt lecture with unwavering attention, not wanting to interrupt, she waited until he was finished droning to respond.

"For starters, I have no plans for Zylo. I merely wish to admire the advancement of my children and the children of my siblings," Seraphine said truthfully, rising up from her makeshift seat. With unnatural speed, she was just an inch or two away from Oligos's face.

"I assure you I will do no further harm to Zylo, I would need the permission of the other Gods to do so," Seraphine said nonchalantly, patting the goliath on the cheek with endearing intent.

'In terms of direction, I'm awaiting my creations. I wouldn't mind having the company of Earth's child at my side though," Seraphine hinted, pointing at a large rectangular misshapen boulder.

"Sit with me as I wait?" Seraphine offered half heartily rushing over and plopping on the smaller end of the rock. Her feet dangled but as she glanced over at the Mountain King she was sure he'd slouched. If she had any domain over Earth she'd accommodate his stature but for now, the bigger end of the boulder would have to suffice as his seat.

A refreshing wind greeted Seraphine's warm caramel skin, causing her to look off into the direction of the breeze. Memories of such a phenomenon's creation resurfaced and tears began to form in the God's eyes. She missed her siblings. On her journey, Seraphine hoped she'd bumped into one or two. Actively pursuing their whereabouts wasn't her concern. They were immortal and Seraphine knew she didn't have the strength to free them even if she discovered their prisons. With a sigh, she turned her attention back to Oligos and gave him a small smile to reassure him she was okay, still insisting he sit.

Radiant

"W-whaa-" Radiant wasn't prepared when the man put her on his shoulder. She tried to wiggle her way out like a worm but to no avail. Compared to other gods, she really didn't put much physical force.

"What are you doing? This is kidnapping. I demand a lawyeeer!" Radiant yelled and squirmed on Jaime's shoulder.

"What is a lawyer's favorite name for their newborn daughter? Sue!" The coin chimed in, which actually made Radiant giggled for a brief moment before she resumed her thrashing.

Soon, Yuri landed next to Lady Seraphine, after taking a moment to find her, he was a bit skeptical at the moment, but he went for it, he got down on one knee, bowing to the goddess. "After hearing everything you said, you must be lady seraphine, please excuse my earlier reaction when I saw you at the volcano M'lady." He said, hoping his hunch and deduction were correct, if they weren't this would be just plain embarrassing.

He looked at the ground, in an attempt to be respectful, getting nervous, he took a deep breath, 'it has to be her.' he thought, 'She wouldn't have said the things she did if it wasn't...' He realized that this might be what the strange feeling he had earlier was, the elemental lords were coming back... 'But why?'

"Quit squirming!" Jaime barked, still as grouchy as before, as he continued marching to the Buck n' Smash inn. While the girl was thrashing around, he craned his neck to glare at her only to get hit by a wild elbow. Thankfully, the girl has the physical prowess of a noodle, so Jaime barely felt the hit. It didn't stop him from glaring at her though, brown eyes boring as if he was trying to drill a hole through her skull. "Oh, so you wanna talk about the law now? If one of us would be going to jail, that'd be you." She basically single-handedly killed Mr. Bucklesmash's entire career- or what was remaining of it at least.

Finally, the unlikely duo reached the fateful inn. Jaime, with both hands occupied, kicked the door opened and quickly stepped inside. The action was immediately followed by a high-pitched shriek that came from the most unlikely of sources.

There, cowering behind the bartender table was a large and brawny man with both hands shielding his eyes for some reason. A moment after and the man peeked through one of the crevices of his stubby fingers. "JAIME, MY BOY!" He piped up, immediately rising back to his full, towering height. His long beard swayed around as he stomped towards the younger male who was now settling his captive to a chair. "Did I not tell you about my past trauma with doors being kicked!?"

Jaime swatted the accusing finger being shoved to his face. "No." Or maybe he did and he forgot about it. "Anyways, I have both good and bad news for you."

Mr. Bucklesmash eyed him, one brow slowly rising as his mind figured out what happened in the same, snail pace.

"I remember you like hearing the good news first so..." Jaime cleared his throat and gestured to the rainbow-haired girl on the chair. "The good news is that I captured the culprit."

Mr. Bucklesmash's face darkened with realization.

"The bad news is that your cakes are now pretending to be cements on the road because of her." He pointed an accusing finger to the stranger.

The owner of the inn slowly craned his neck to look at the culprit, his eyes wide and his mouth agape. Jaime was sure that he would explode right then and there, go off in a winding speech about how he was going to sue the female but....

"JAIME, YOU ILL-MANNERED BOY!" Instead, he whacked the said boy on the head with that newspaper roll of his- again and again and again. "How can you manhandle a cute, precious girl like her!? Look at her! She's adorable! I've never seen anyone with this many colors of hair!"

Completely dumbfounded, Jaime darted his eyes between the two. "But... But she just bankrupted you?" He tried to reason. "I told her to pay up but she just gave me this weird coin and pulled a dumb trick instead." He showed the speaking coin to the older man.

"HUSH! Enough of your petty excuses!" Mr. Bucklesmash said before flinging his attention back to the girl, looking at her with sparkling eyes. "Hello, miss... um, hmmm.. Jaime, what's her name?"

"Miss Cake Blaster."

"Miss Cake Blaster, I assume you have no means of paying the cakes, so how about you work for Buck n' Smash inn instead? The gods know we can use extra hands here..." He lowered his voice, "As you can see. My only employee sucks at handling people... or cakes." The man then clasped his hands together, pleading. "Pleaseee! I believe your cuteness will bring in the customers!"

Oligos' eyes closed shut as his expression shifted to a wide, gleeful grin, baring all of his teeth towards the goddess. "Oho! Is such a relief to be hearing!" He bellowed and beat his fist against his chest once, shouting "Of course!" before hopping onto the boulder next to the goddess, perhaps becoming too relaxed as his body mass encroached upon her space, all the while his human form leaned back on the stone comfortably. Anyone sensitive to smell would immediately be taken aback by the strong odor, not necessarily repulsive, but indicative of the presence of some immense creature.

Catching the eye of Seraphine once again, the Mountain King returned her expression with a heavy nod and a more subdued smile. The passage of time was a powerful thing, spending centuries watching his family either wither away or leave him had left it's scars on his being, though he couldn't imagine the sheer scale of time when applied in such immensity, regarding the plight of the gods and goddesses.

It didn't take very long for him to begin whistling as the two waited, a deep humming sound that couldn't have emerged from human vocal cords. But the sound came to sharp finish as the goddess' companion arrived, when Oligos poked his head out from behind her form, glaring down at the kneeling figure with curiosity, but resolving to remain quiet while the two reunited.
