-Mission Statement of Western Services LLC
The ultimate role that a Crisis Agent plays is that of equalizer: in a world that isn't fair, they are arbiters of fair play, specialists in leveling the playing field. They are resourceful and tenacious men and women who will wade into the midst of danger and corruption to overturn threats to their clients and restore some semblance of balance to their lives.
Crisis Agents are contacted and assigned via a proprietary videotex network which can only be accessed from a Western Services office via appointment. The client inputs the details of their situation, and agents with relevant skillsets are contacted via their home terminals. A further interview with the client is then conducted to establish the methods and degree of protection and engagement.
OOC: I typically play in 3rd person, and I usually maintain a flexible posting length that varies between semi to multi-para. I've been RPing for almost ten years, and I've rarely heard complaints about my particular style: I am more concerned with contributing a good post than with nailing a specific post length.
The world in which Western Services exists is heavily inspired by detective and vigilante series' from the 1960's-80's, such as Ironside, The Equalizer, and Longstreet, and modern films such as The Nice Guys, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Atomic Blonde. I am interested in roleplaying that is narrative-heavy, plot-driven, and with plenty of action and intrigue. I prefer to be approached OOC.
