Turteltee
Hello there! My name is Turteltee, but you can call me Turtel or Turt. I am a 21-year-old American living and studying in Germany. I joined this forum in 2019, but a lot was going on at that time, so I left for a little while. Now I am back and excited to start creating stories and breathing life into characters I have been holding onto for a while.
I started roleplaying when I was around 9-10 years old on a warrior cats forum I helped administer with friends. When I grew up a little, I fell in love with the Hetalia fandom and started roleplaying with like-minded people there. I will admit it is really embarrassing, but sometimes we must look back on our younger selves a laugh a bit. Although many of my prompts were using characters from that show, I have developed them into stories with deeper meaning and character growth outside of fandom, which I truly hold dear to my heart.
As I mentioned above, I am currently studying in Germany and learning the German language. I have been here for over three years and my grammar might fail me at times, but I am trying my best.
My current interests have changed drastically over the years. The video games I am interested in are The Witcher franchise and the lore of League of Legend (especially with Arcane premiering). I am currently watching Arcane, the Crown, and trying to rewatch the Studio Ghibli films. I have also gotten back into reading with previous favorites being the Harry Potter Series and the Scholomance by Naomi Novik. I am currently reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik as well. I also love musicals.
I currently have a few prompts for both one on ones and group roleplays that might need to be rewritten, but I am slowly working on it.
The specific themes I am interested in are:
Historical Fiction (Medieval, The European Renaissance, Revolutionary Period, the Victorian Era, and the era between 1920 and 1950)
High Fantasy
Arcanepunk
Low Fantasy
Dark Academia
Modern Slice of Life
