Today, many fights or misunderstandings will happen. Do not bitch someone out for no reason, because that will turn into a debate itself.
Congratulations to Donald Trump for winning, even though I wouldn't have voted for him. He may not be the best choice, but if it helps my family, so be it. Life is only how we make it!
I hate to seem like an ass, but people need to stop posting shit about politics. People keep bashing others for it and it is unnecessary. So please stop. I beg of you. No fights need to break out today.
Iris was out doing her business as the Flash, leaving her girlfriend, Caitlin, alone for some time. Caitlin got lonely once in a while, so she tried to ignore the pain in her chest each and every day.
"She's watching the taxi driver, he pulls away
She's been locked up inside her apartment a hundred days
She says, yeah, she's still coming, just a little bit late
She got stuck at the laundromat washing her cape"
She's just watching the clouds roll by and they spell her name like Lois Lane
And she smiles, oh the way she smiles..."
While Iris was away, the speedster contained memories. They were locked in her mind, even on her phone. She looked at the smile Caitlin rarely wore, and remembered why she fell in love in the first place. That smile...
"She's talking to angels, counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She's dancing with strangers, falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms yeah, in her arms yeah
Waiting for Superman..."
Caitlin always waited, for weeks that turned into months, for her beloved to return. It had been almost two months, and she got worried. Every day she would try to call, but got no answer.
"She's out on the corner trying to catch a glimpse
Nothing's making sense
She's been chasing an answer
A sign lost in the abyss, this Metropolis
She says "Yeah, she's still coming, just a little bit late"
She got stuck at the Five and Dime saving the day"
She says "If life was a movie, then it wouldn't end like this"
Left without a kiss
Still, she smiles, oh the way she smiles, yeah..."
Iris had to continue ignoring phone calls because she was on a mission, finding metahumans. She was having some luck, but she had to go against a strong meta now. And that would be hard.
"She's talking to angels, she's counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She's dancing with strangers, she's falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In her arms yeah, in her arms yeah
She's waiting for Superman
To lift her up and take her anywhere
Show her love and climbing through the air
Save her now, before it's too late tonight
Oh like the speed of light
And she smiles..."
Caitlin got a call from S.T.A.R. Labs, from Cisco. "I want you to know, Caitlin, that Iris might not come back--" sobs broke loose from her eyes and gross tears fell down her face. She lost her Iris... her love.
"She's talking to angels, she's counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She's dancing with strangers, she's falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In her arms yeah, oh in her arms yeah
She's waiting for Superman..."
Iris walked through the door of the twos apartment. "Caitlin?" She called. No answer. What did Cisco say to her? Iris searched the house, all but one room - the living room. She slowly walked, afraid of seeing a poor sight. But what she found was Caitlin siting on the couch, sobbing. "Caitlin. I'm home," Iris said with a smile. Caitlin whipped around, and quickly got up. "Iris! Where we're you?!" She cried. Iris only looked at her girlfriend and wiped away a tear. "I was kicking ass. But I'm home now. For good." Iris then got down on one knee...
"... to lift her up and take her anywhere
Show her love and climbing through the air
Save her now before it's too late tonight
She's waiting for Superman!"
