I just found out about the 16 personality types and also found that I am an INFJ. Not quite sure what it means, all I know is I am connected (sort of) to Hitler. And Gandhi.

Just some stuff I was thinking about.


1. You'd never tell a gay person that they couldn't be sure they were gay because they hadn't been in a straight relationship, right? Well someone told me that exactly today, except with ace/aro in place of gay.


2. Just because you're young/younger doesn't mean your sexual or romantic orientation is valid. Don't listen to anyone who tells you differently.


3. I don't know much about other orientations, but ace wise there is a wide spectrum.  So if you don't perfectly fit the definition of asexual, that's ok. You are what ever you feel you are.


4. Romantic and sexual orenations an two different things.


5. Just because a person is ace doesn't mean they don't understand sexual things and innuendos. All it means for me is that whether or not what I'm doing looks sexual is not the first thing in my mind. 


6. A (in LGBT+) stands for asexual/aromantic/agender/ALLY. Not, it doesn't just stand for ally. Nope, not just asexual either. For most of LGBT history, the a HAS stood for ally, not asexual. So, if someone makes a mistake don't get offended or belittle them, educate them.


7. Saying "I want to kill myself" isn't funny. It's not a joke. Please don't treat suicide or suicidal thoughts as a joke. Same goes for triggered and bleach drinking jokes. They aren't funny.


8. If you have anxiety, deppression, are bipolar or have any other mental health issues, it's ok to take a mental health day. Your mental health is just as important as your school work or physical health, and you should treat them with the same level of priority. And if someone ignorantly or purposely makes an insulting joke or jab at mental health issues, just remember you have nothing to be ashamed about and you can stand up for yourself. But if there is a reason, such as anxiety, that causes you to not be able to stand up for yourself, that's ok too. 


9. If you are white/cis/straight/male, as long as you don't use your status or privilege to hurt others, please remember you are just as special as any minority group. If anyone puts you down because of the way you were born, even if the way you are born puts you in a position of privilege, you have just as much of a right to defend yourself as anyone else. 


10. If you aren't sure what your sexuality is and/or you don't fit in with a label or just don't, that's fine too. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.


11. If your sexuality is less well known than others, such as polysexuality or asexuality or pansexuality, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.


12. Ace/aro people can recognise is someone is attractive. All being ace/aro means is that we won't want to hook up or be in a relationship with them. Or anyone.


Bottom line, don't be ignorant. And if you don't understand something or someone, talk to them. Don't make assumptions.

There is a place. He went over there! Their is a possessive.  Their bear is running away.  They're is a contraction. It's expanded form is they are. They're (they are) missing a bear.
