Howdy! I’m Eli.
I’ve been roleplaying since I was maybe 11, and have been doing so on and off since then. I prefer fandom RP since having an already-established universe makes it easier for me, but that doesn’t mean I’m completely against making something new.

I’m very much a ‘fly by the seat of your pants’ kind of guy. I do prefer to plot things out in advance so we both move in the same direction, but I don’t like setting super rigid constraints for myself - this is where I wanna let loose and get creative!

That said, I know all the general no-no’s and etiquette for roleplaying. No, I’m not gonna take control of your character or dominate the entire exchange - not intentionally anyway, and if anything I do feels that way to you then PLEASE tell me. I am very very open to communication and criticism when it comes to writing, as long as you aren’t a dick about it.

I USE TONE TAGS.
If for whatever reason that bugs you, move on.
If you don’t know what tone tags are, it’s pretty simple! They were created by and for autistic and other neurodivergent people to help navigate the Internet easier. Reading and understanding someone’s intended tone in writing can be difficult sometimes if you don’t know the other person very well, and that difficulty is only amplified by things like autism. So I use tone tags, both for myself to ensure that my intended tone is understood, and for others so they know my intent in saying certain things.

These are the tone tags I most frequently use;
/j = joking
/s = sarcastic
/srs = serious
/p = platonic

(I use /p because I often express appreciation for someone/something by saying things like “i love you” and that can come off as strange to some people. I just want to minimize discomfort without watering down my feelings.)

There are certain things I will not write about, period, end of discussion. If anything isn’t clear, feel free to ask questions about it.

I will not write romantic or sexual relationships involving minors, especially if the relationship includes an adult.

I will not write scenes of explicit self-harm, suicide, or abuse.

I will not roleplay with anyone under the age of 18.
