Hello all! You can call me Effy. I am 21 years old, and I have been roleplaying for quite some time now. I am open to a wide variety of themes and genres. I have done anything and everything, from high fantasy roleplays to historical roleplays to more literary, slice-of-life roleplays. 99.9% of my roleplays have some form of romance in them, as I am very much a hopeless romantic.
A bit about my writing style, my preferences, and my expectations:
My personal minimum for replies is 3 well-written paragraphs. That said, I generally write far more than that (maxing out at 5000+ words). I know that length does not necessary equal quality (I have no desire to read a novella-length reply with no substance nor any attention to detail, grammar, or spelling), but I also have no interest in writing one-line replies, nor do I have any interest in receiving them. I generally aim to match my partner in terms of the length of their replies, as well as what is happing in the RP.
I appreciate literary detail (descriptive writing), as well as an attention to proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Mistakes happen, and I have no interest in belittling someone just for a few typos here and there. Nevertheless, numerous spelling and grammar errors make any piece of text unpleasant to read, so I am looking for partners who have a strong grasp on the rules of the English language.
When it comes to romance, I generally write MxF or FxF, writing either gender. I am a queer woman, so I write what I know. Sometimes, I will do MxM, but it really depends on my partner - I am all for LGBTQIA2S+ representation in creative writing/literature, but I also have no interest in participating in the fetishization of gay/queer men, which I fear I have seen on many RP sites.
I do not double. That said, I love writing detailed, complex, and recurring side characters who play a role in the story, have relationships with the main characters + other side characters, etc. The bigger the cast, the better. I am looking for partners who feel the same.
Please be interested in plotting and fleshing out ideas together. I do not want to be the one doing all the leg work when it comes to planning. I love being able to gush with my partner about our story, send Pinterest boards, songs, etc.
