Returning to the forum rp scene after a long hiatus!

I'm looking for long rps with a lot of character development. For the most part, I'd like to explore original worlds, but there are a few fandoms I'd explore if people are interested in delving into the lore and culture.

That said- I get very bored with the "mary sue/gary stu" and "one punch man" type tropes. I likewise don't care much for the 'always happy' stories. I want to co-write characters with flaws, who misunderstand, talk, and have culture clashes to really think into. I want to look at the good and the bad in a group's culture. I want to explore the light and the dark in social and behavioral psychology.
