LadyCookie
Hoi! I'm Emily, or Cookie, whatever you prefer! I've been playing traditional tabletop RPG (think Dungeons & Dragons) for years, but I kinda got tired of them. I want to find the fun in roleplay again, like I did a long time ago when I used to RP with my friends on MSN. I want to go back to my roots, and that's why I came to RP Nation!
I do like dice rolls though. I think the random chance can greatly contribute to the collaborative storytelling, but I want to escape the trap of "falling too much into the rules". Freeform roleplay is great. I imagine the ideal RP would be freeform, with a simple dice system to solve things like combat, and the plot could be "negotiated" among the group.
But what do I know? You can consider me as a novice in forum RP. It's very different from what I'm used to, but very interesting as well. Now let's talk turkey.
